I gave them an extra star because they have a cappuccino machine in the lobby. Other than that, this place sucks. They charge an astronomical amount of money for routine diagnosis that a regular shop would charge 40 bucks or less for. The main problem is they never honor the warranty. Everything I've brought my car in for I've been told it wasn't a warranty repair. What's the point of a warranty then?

Most shops will take a look at the car, come to the customer and say "it's going to cost $400 to fix this and it's not covered" which allows the customer to say "no thanks" and bring the car to a normal shop with normal prices. Not North Point. They just fix the damn thing and stick you with the bill.

I will not go back. I'd rather pay and honest shop and honest price to fix it without involving warranty than have to go through this again.

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE!! Three days after I bought my car, it was in the shop for a month! Fixing a blown head gasket, raditor, wheel bearing and a bad battery. They cleared the codes before I bought the car. ALFONZO said he knew the owner and the car was in good shape! HA. Thank god my car was covered bumper to bumper from my cars warrenty. BE AWARE!! My car was a LEMON!!!

This shop is unattentive, slow, and inconsiderate. It was over a week before they could even run a quick diagnostic check on a vehicle I purchased there; I always had to call and check up rather than someone updating me. I cannot help but feel that McLarty Ford is ripping people off everytime they sell a vehicle becaue my vehicle has had so many problems and each time, I had to point out that it was under warranty after they tried to charge me. Once I am out of this lease, I will NEVER again purchase a vehicle from any Ford dealership.

I can t speak for the dealership (yet), but their service department is absolutely top-notch! I ve been there a couple of times now for work to be done, ans both times my expectations have been blown out of the water. Not only have I been treated like family, but in each instance my vehicle was ready way before when I expected it to be. They also have kept me informed on what s happening every step of tue way. We all know what a hassle having a car fixed can be, but here they do everything they can to keep that hassle to a minimum.

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sold my friend a vehicle and one week later the engine blew up while going down the interstate. Refused to even discuss any type of fair resolution. Instead blocked him from even being able to call the delearship. The man who bought the vehicle is a hard working single dad that had to work extra just for it to be possible to buy the vehicle, now is having to figure out how to get the engine fixed in a vehicle he s still making payments on. Super poor excuse for any type of customer service I ve ever seen.

This was my worst experience buying an automobile. Sales person, Michael Roman rushed me into deal. My fault for letting myself get into this position of being way upside down on a vehicle. Drove it 300 miles and check engine light came on. I ended up spending another 600 dollars to get catalytic converter replaced, they would not help me on it. Supposed to have checked used car before they sell, which they charge another 129 dollars for. I will never buy another vehicle from Mclarty Ford.

The woman who helped me with the rental as well (Ginger?) was extremely nice and helpful. I had never been there before yesterday and I was treated like a life-time customer. Sale went fine....but when problems, issues that you don't check for during a test drive, started they didn't want to hear about it and started in with the "bought as is". I get that, but can't we work something out to make it
right? Car chargers had no power, okay, I can fix that with a new fuse. Doors will not lock, can't you discount the labor or something? I mean I've never stood there and locked and unlocked a test drive before, but will now. Too cheap to replace a fuse, and almost zero customer service. I had to cop an attitude just to get them to look at the lock issue. They could care less after they made their sale. Car salesman could barely look up from his cellphone long enough to listen to me, or my concerns. You want great customer service? See Owens Murphy, they take care of their customers.

We traded in my f250 and got a new Expedition max. Mike Roman our salesman was very helpful and made sure to explain every thing. Our finance representative, Kevin Richardson was outstanding as well. He made sure we had every need met, and went above and beyond to make sure we got the most for our money. The whole process took 2 hours from the time we came in and left with our new vehicle. There was no messing around, it was to the point, very flexible to meet our needs, and I will definitely recommend them to other people. GREAT dealership!!

Outstanding service and professionalism! McLarty truly went the extra mile and saved my family trip. Unfortunately my 2017 F150 broke down due to a poor solenoid wiring connection (fluke mishap). This team (specific shoutouts to both Glen's in the service department) took my truck in before the shop opened, worked hard to source a replacement part, and had me fixed up and on my way within a few hours. I had my wife and two dogs with me that they openly welcomed into the showroom, and made our time as comfortable as possible. No hassle, no pressure, purely a group of awesome people doing good work for a guy in need. Not paid to do a review, just blessed and wanted to share. Thanks guys!

I have had nothing but issues with this place from day 1. Purchased a brand new 2015 mustang gt at the end of 2014 and the brakes were squealing really bad. Took it back and the service manager drove it and heard the noise but insisted I drive away in it and the noise would eventually go away. Ended up taking it to Crain and they fixed the issue with no problem. They even offered to take me to work and pick me up. Just had to take my car in this morning, after taking Friday and being told to bring it back Tuesday, only to call and be told that it is still in line and have not been diagnosed. Asked for a courtesy car this morning when I dropped it off after being told that it would definitely have to stay overnight, and was told that I could pay for a rental car. This is the first dealership I have ever dealt with who doesn't have courtesy cars or offer to take you where you need to go. I have the extended warranty also so you would think a rental would be covered. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from this place. Going to Crain for other purchases

My driver flew open while I was driving, due to a faulty door latch. I was freaking out. She stayed calm, got me in & got the problem fixed. She also checked for other recalls & had them fixed ALL IN 1 DAY.

My husband called to make an appointment to fix a front end issue and some recalls with my Ford Escape. We were told to bring it in at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Upon arrival, I was told that I would have to leave my Escape for at least a week (with no prior mention of leaving it, we were unprepared for this). After waiting for over 2 hours, a rental was made available to us. (It had taken about 30 minutes to get the rental secured; but the remaining time was spent attempting to print a temporary tag because the internet was down.) During this time, I was told that my Escape would not even be looked at to be diagnosed that day. (My question here was...why did I bring it in today, if you re not even going to diagnose it today?) Twelve days later, I returned to pick up my Escape. The bill ended up costing me triple what I had planned; and that s what my warranty did not cover. The longer I have my Escape back the more issues that are arising that were not present before I took it in to be worked on. There is a humming and whining in the front end where they worked on it, a rattle is now present in the rear door, and my SYNC system was not working properly (which messes up all controls and systems in my center dash). McClarty Ford offered to bring my Escape back in to attempt to fix the SYNC system; however, it would cost me $100 for my warranty deductible (even though this was not an issue and working properly before my Escape was with them for 12 days to be fixed). Luckily, my husband had the idea to try a factory reset on the SYNC system; and that seems to have fixed the issues that were present. My Escape was also given back to me with greasy handprints on both front doors (up and down the length of them), a few black/dirt spots on the ceiling (that weren t there before), and black shoe marks on the inside of the front doors. Overall, I am VERY unhappy with my experience of using Mark McClarty Ford to fix my Ford Escape. I chose to return to them for the repairs because I was a long time customer of the North Point franchise; and I thought I would be getting the same excellent service that I had always received before. However, I am very disappointed in my experience with Mark McClarty Ford; and I will not be returning.

We bought a used car, pulled out of dealership and stopped at McCain Mall and door locks did not work, then the panoramic roof did not work. They had it for over a week, now the brakes are grinding and the a.c. is not working. My son bought a car from this company the next week and the battery died three days later. Now their car is stalling out. Buyer beware! We have only had the cars for a little over a month.

UPDATE -- The vehicle / shopping experience was fantastic But...the FOLLOW-UP Service for promises made upon purchase has been poor at best for over 6-months.

We were promised a "Key Fab" for the vehicle and not only have we not been provided one, but the management has not been returning calls NOR have they been showing any incentive to help.

Seems, what once was a personal experience becomes the stereotypical "car sales" where the buyer is thrown to the curb after the purchase.
Oh well, again we had a great experience -- and would have given a 5-Star review otherewise.

My wife did most of the work on this vehicle hunt (i steer away from car shopping) but the overall experience was great with a very good deal on a vehicle ... two gentlemen Willie and Richard that were pleasant in the sales process, and Willie was very knowledgable in the vehicle history to help with questions. I had an excellent experience at North Point Ford, Landers North Little Rock. This is my second car purchase with North Point. My sales Rep. Clarence McFadden was great. He was very patient in showing me several cars to chose from before I made my final decision. I arrived at the dealership 45 minutes before it was time for him to end his day, but he took his time to explain all the car features. I would recommend North Point and Mr. McFadden to anyone interested in a car purchase.

After leaving the dealership I found out they took it to another place to put on the starter. When I asked them why he said we always use this place.
