John, Shannon, Debbie and the whole crew at North Central Ford's Griffin Fleet sales office are terrific. I've bought many vehicles from them, the latest being a new 2017 Explorer Sport 4x4. I'm sure I'll be purchasing there again in the future.

I called yesterday to get a quote on simply "the works" service package, to which I was helped right away and not left on hold for any length of time. I came in today and was given an hour and half time window to expect to wait on the service and was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a call to pick up my car after only 40 minutes! I'll come here again!

Overall it was a very good experience. No pressure sales. If you said no, they took it instead of pressing. Took the time to detail all the costs and even gave tips on how to improve things.

North Central Ford is typical of Ford Dealerships. You have to more or less advocate for yourself and be constantly aware of what they do and do not do. If you use any of the web-based scheduling or other tools count on the fact that their people will act as if you've never fed them one bit of information.
In some cases I've sat for a half hour - and they swoop in when they think they're going to make money - but as soon as they find out your service is free or included with your maintenance warranty they're highly demotivated.
I waited for nearly an hour and a half at one point with no updates past the first one. And then I had to go to them to inquire about whether my vehicle service was complete. The awards are stacked end to end. I've noticed the management is the worst - the level of disengagement is astounding.
And instead of using a consultative sales approach they concentrate on their sales goals and people can feel it. I watched an exchange that I found distasteful at the very least. The customer was younger and you could see by his face that he wasn't buying what the sales person had to say.
Sad. The dealerships now are so large and so rich and so singularly focused on profit that I hope one day the market undoes them. They're not there for the customer that's for sure. Sadly this isn't just North Central Ford - but their history over the last thirty years and two different owners is pretty consistent.

This is the third vehicle I've purchased from North Central Ford within 14 months. The dealership is clean and easy to get to, and the people are all friendly and helpful. But what I appreciate the most is the fair pricing that is given right up front without having to haggle. I know some people enjoy that, but I don't. I'd rather be given their best offer without having to negotiate for it. The first time I went to North Central Ford, I had done my homework and knew what other dealers in my area were offering. The salesman at North Central Ford just gave me their best price without having to ask for it. I knew immediately it was a good and fair price (and much better than other dealers in the area), so I agreed without even having to make a counter offer. All of my vehicle purchases have been that easy and free of typical car-buying drama, so I don't even think about going anywhere else.

My experience with North Central Ford was complete...

My experience with North Central Ford was completely different right from the start from any other new-car buying experience I've ever had.

In summary, my experience was very relaxed and enjoyable with no pressure, no haggling, no cheesy sales talk, and no hard sale tactics from the salesperson, the sales manager, or the finance manager. I would absolutely recommend North Central Ford to friends and family or anyone interested in purchasing a Ford vehicle.

When I walked in the door, I was greeted, and I told the salesperson that I wanted a test drive. During the test drive, the salesperson didn't say a word unless answering a question I asked, and I can't tell you how much I appreciated that! Normally, a salesperson will be yammering on the whole time telling you about features, trying to sell you the car, and/or asking your opinion about this and that; when I test drive a car, I just want to listen to the car and experience the drive without any distractions, and the salesperson let me do exactly that without me even having to ask.

I'd done my homework on pricing before I got to the dealership, so I was also pleasantly surprised when they provided me with their Sonic price up front without any haggling. It was even lower than the special "Ford Partner X-plan" discounted pricing I get through my employer, and I could tell it was a very competitive price; I didn't even counter because I thought it was such a fair price.

I didn't purchase that day because I wanted to check if a friend wanted to buy my potential trade-in from me. I briefly met with the sales manager who immediately understood my reason, and there was no pressure or additional sales tactics to keep me from walking out the door. I did call back later that day to say that I wanted to purchase the vehicle we discussed mainly because of my experience at the dealership so far.

During the paperwork process, some dealer add-ons were presented to me by the salesperson. In this case, none of them appealed to me, so I declined, but there was no pressure or attempt to talk me into them.

Likewise, during the final signing process with the finance manager presented extended warranties and other protection options, but there was no hard sale tactics like I've experienced at other dealerships. He made some recommendations based on my inputs, but he accepted my decision cheerfully without any additional pressure.

I had a repair need while in Dallas on vacation. North Central Ford did a bad job at an inflated price. My car was returned to me with grease and grime all over the interior (seats, glass, dash, etc). Worse than that, features that were working fine when I gave them my car, are now inoperable. My dash was not reassembled properly and has fallen apart under the steering column. Needless to say, since I am out-of-town, they have not offered a convenient solution to their screw ups and there are safety issues involved here. Seriously, a monkey watching a repair video on YouTube could have done a better job. Do yourself a favor and drive to any other dealership for your service needs!

I am very pleased with my sales person Tom Said, I came in from Plano Ford and had horrible experience with back and forth negotiations even though I told them I don t like the back and forth. Tom came with best price upfront and it was lower than Plano Ford by $1,200. If you need a new Ford go see Tom Thanks Tom you deserve this stars (Thanks also to Kevin Mayes new car Director)

I dropped off the van around 5:00 to 5:30 and it took a long to time to get anyone to check me in. There was no one at any of the desks. Russell Huffman showed up and quickly checked me in even though he was not my assigned Service Advisor. He remained my Service Advisor and did a great job.

On July 2 my 2014 Explorer was in for its 40000 mile check. The battery results from the multi-point inspection were GREEN for "Battery Condition" and "Battery Cables and Connections". One week later on July 9, the Explorer would not start. Dashboard lights flashing on and off even after I had stopped the engine. Popped the hood and found that the positive connector terminal had completely disintegrated as part of massive corrosion. Luckily the Explorer made it back to the dealership after being jumped. Now they find a dead cell and cracked battery post. I complained to the Service Manager that obviously they missed this condition on July 2nd and I wondered what other activities and checks were skipped. How am I supposed to trust anything they did? The Service Manager was apologetic for the inconvenience but said he trusted his experienced tech and floated the suggestion that the battery was fine on July 2 and failed like this between then and July 9. Unbelievable. Future service work (and new vehicle purchases) will be taken elsewhere even though I bought this vehicle here.

I have been servicing at North central ford for about 4 years now on my explorer and my mustang for 2 years. Convenient location, great service reps and overall good experience. Lot of place to sit while your car is serviced, drop off available, wifi and clean bathrooms.

Had an amazing experience working with Osama Ramadan. He was knowledgeable with each car he showed and let me test drive many. He worked well with my expenses and helped me get down to reasonable monthly payment for financing. He listened very well and went majorly above and beyond!

Will be coming back to work with him. :)

Super great team! Came in for my very first oil change on my Ford Explorer. The whole process was super fast, got me in and out in 40 minutes. Not bad for a 5:30pm weekday service appointment. I worked with JR Cruz and he was so sweet.

Can t wait for my next Ford service!

We bought a Certified used car from them and it nearly lost a wheel soon after when the wheel studs broke on the highway. They sent a tow truck and fixed it and two weeks later it happened on another wheel.

Upon investigation we discovered it was a repossessed vehicle bought at auction. The dealership manager was friendly at first and then when we pointed out that the tires on the 10,000 mile vehicle were the wrong size (too small) he quit returning e-mail.

The car always had a slight pull to the left and now has 45,000 miles on it after a year +. Last week, during an alignment check after new tires, another Ford dealer discovered a bent suspension member which could have been caused by a tow truck (old style) - the theory being it was damaged during the repossession. A $1400 non-warranty repair.

They are owned by a company that owns many dealerships now, Sonic, and they have clearly lost their way. Avoid these guys.

Also recommend investigating what Certified actually means. In this case we assumed the car was in excellent shape, but if you look at their contract Certified basically only means they "inspected" and repaired minor flaws. The fact that the tires were the wrong size was acceptable per their definition as of course the fact it was hot out of a repo auction pool.

Had to take my mom to pick up her truck. I was pleased with how they took care of her, originally we were a little skeptical because she's a female senior citizen and it was my dad that would normally take it there and has developed a relationship with them(he passed away). Well cancel that not only were they nice and kind to her, they remembered my dad. In addition she r'cvd a senior citizen discount, a real discount brought her bill down to thirteen hundred....we'll take it!

North Central Ford gave me a professional easy going sales process. Don Fontenot was my salesman. Listened to what I had to say and got me to where I wanted to be on a 2013 Ford Explorer in no time. I enjoyed the experience from the hello to the finishing up in finance and leaving in my new Explorer.

Most of my service experience had been positive with this location, however my services were low-level oil changes, I had a disappointing experience with a fleet vehicle service department they kept my vehicle for several days upon my return, my air conditioning went out they fixed it lasted couple days hot air returned, some service I believe manager named Chris told me several excuses as to why it wasn't fixed, no apologies just indifference and lack of courtesy and professionalism, not a service attitude at all just excuses, this will be my 3rd trip in an effort to get my vehicle fixed..

They were courteous, knowledgeable, and fixed my car well within a reasonable time. I took my car to another Ford dealership for the same issue on two prior occasions, and several other expensive fixes were made, but I would always get my car back with the same original problem (it would randomly die when I had the brake on.) I don't believe the other dealership was being dishonest, but I do think there might be a knowledge gap since I took it to North Central and the real culprit was identified and repaired quickly, and at less expense than other repairs that didn't even fix the problem. For the first time in 1.5 years I go from point A to point B without restarting my car at every stoplight!

I scheduled an appt. on-line the night before and called the following morning to ensure I would receive service according to my appt. I arrived a few minutes late, but was met by someone in Service, who promptly took my information and suggested additional items based on my 20K check-up. I was very happy when I was notified via text my car was ready in the time promised and pleased with the work provided. I purchased by car at North Central Ford and appreciate the customer service and professionalism provided by all employees I met. I will be returning for suggested recalls ASAP.

Bought a 2016 Ford Taurus from here early 2017. I traded in a car during the purchase. Taurus runs great still. I would buy another car here. My advice would be to get here early since you will be here for several hours. Decide what you want to spend monthly before you get here and stick to that number.

Dropped my car off for door latch recall. I was told it would take most of the day. North Central Ford provided me with a rental car which was nice. However it took 2 1-2 days to get my car back. Overall I had a very nice experience thanks to being placed in a nice rental.

I had a great experience at this location. They kept me informed about my vehicle's progress and were very helpful in every way. I bought my used car at Clay Cooley in Irving and it was the worst experience. North Central Ford was the complete opposite and I will be coming back again if I ever need to.

Unwilling to correct brake problem on F150 at 37k miles even though I had had in twice in the previous 10k miles for the same problem. Service guy was sarcastic and intimidating to me and NOT helpful ... never wash my truck when it's in for all day service

When you get ready to purchase a car be sure you ask for "Red" Redmond. I followed him from another dealership where he sold me a car. I spoke with him in February and told him what I was looking for. He called me on Tuesday and said that he had found what I was looking for, I went and looked at the car. Then on Thursday I went and signed the papers and got my new car. This car had everything I had asked for and MORE! TOTALLY STRESS-FREE EXPERIENCE!!!! The best experience buying a car I ever experienced! Remember to ask for RED REDMOND and tell him Donella sent you!

Took my new vehicle in for the "complimentary oil change" last week. When the vehicle was ready I looked over the invoice to find out they used the wrong weight oil as well as they used Quaker State oil. When I took this to the service rep he stated that was the proper weight oil, when I challenged him indicating that is not what the owner's manual stated nor was that was on the oil fill cap he then looked it up on his computer. I was correct so he asked if I wanted the oil changed! Dumb question as far as I was concerned. I then I asked why did I come to a Ford Dealer to get Quaker State oil? It is the dealers bulk oil that they have used for approx 9 years was the answer. Would I also get NAPA or Autozone parts here too and not Motorcraft??

I wrote an email to the service manager with a copy furnished to the General Manager as well as my Salesman last week, I've yet to receive as much as an acknowledgement. I would not recommend this dealership to purchase a vehicle much less to get service. They don't know their products requirements nor do they care after they sell you the vehicle.

UPDATE (28 Jun 2018): I did receive an email from the service manager apologizing for what took place and offered another free oil change when the time arrived. I am glad he took the initiative to make things right, thank you.

I was in getting some recall work done, setting the appointment was very easy. I got there at 7:15 am, they took my info, keys, and I was on the courtesy vehicle and headed back home in less then 5 minutes. Great place to have service.

Very pleasant dealings in everyway. Salesman, Charles, was great. Car was as advertised at great price. Car was extremely clean and detailed. Even after our test drive it was retaken and given a full tank of gas and detailed again. Couldn't be more pleased with anyone we dealt with, they were all great. I would buy a car from this dealership again for sure.

The actual service of the service department was great. But unfortunately the below is why I can't give them a perfect rating which should be a valuable lesson to management.
I'm sitting here having my car serviced and I'm one area employees are eating Snuffers and openly and very loudly going on about pushing sales on people. I heard one guy say he was "cashing checks and breaking necks." So a really classy example of the sales team.

This other guy named "Tim"....and I only know that because he keeps referring to himself in the third person is literally walking around acting like a child squealing and goofing around going from cube to cube just gabbing away. Horseplay in the showroom....I want his job.

All I can say is the GM here must be well above his sales quota to have so much grabastic screwing around going on. If I was the GM, my staff would be making sales calls to prospects instead of thumping chests and pinching other guys butts.

The only thing that went well for us was finding the car we liked online. The car had damage on the bumper and they told us they would replace it. We signed the papers. After looking at our papers we realized they charged us for permaplate and keycare which we did not agree on. They had different paperwork than what they gave us. We went back and cancelled all extra warranties. After that we get the car and find out the bumper had not been replaced as promised but was just repaired. They were dishonest. We felt deceived. There was lots of miscommunication between the employees. We feel like all they ever tried to do to make it right was what should have been done in the first place. We will not recommend this dealership or go back there because we would not want this to happen again.

First off, I do not work, nor socialize with anyone from this place so...What can I say about North Central Ford? My father has bought two trucks from them, my mother has bought two from them, my two sisters have each bought one from them, and I just bought my third from them. Their service and dedication to do what's right by the customer is flawless. Everyone there is so friendly. From Roy Coleman in service, to Charles Washington in sales, Kevin in finance, and the manager on the floor Doug. These were very courteous and professional men. This last experience was the best experience yet, and they keep getting better. If you're not doing business with these people when getting a new/used vehicle, you're missing out.

North Central Ford - Roy Coleman Service Advisor greeted me. He took all my information and brought me personally to the Shuttle Driver. I got a ride quickly and that also went well. The recall repairs were done in about 5.5 hours. I was picked up and brought back to North Central Ford and I was on my way home. A good expierence.

When it comes to my service technician at North Central Ford, Roy Coleman is the best. I have worked with him for about 15 years with my 3 Ford purchases. However, I am not impressed with my vehicle at all. Purchased a CPO Fusion and it has been in the shop for 3 major repairs totaling almost 3 months of repair work in this period of time. I have never experienced this with a Ford purchase ever, and I am pretty sure that I will not be purchasing another Ford after this one. But, thankful for a warranty, and thankful for Roy for doing his best to get me taken care of.

I have had nothing but problems with my 2014 Ford Explorer Sport. I had only had it a few days and had to bring it back because it had a gas smell. It took months for the dealer to finally figure out what was wrong with my vehicle but that is just the start of it! To make a very long and frustrating experience SHORT... my Explorer had to have a new engine... such a bad experience but I am so THANKFUL that I purchased my Explorer @ NORTH CENTRAL FORD they have been so helpful and I love them and because of them we purchased a F150 a few months ago and I would totally recommend them to my closest friends and family. Mark in the Service love him!!! Shawn the finance manager love him!!! and Trevor our Sales Guy love him!!! and the guys that work behind the scene to get my car where it is today A HUGE SHOUT OUT... THANK YOU!! We love our FORDS and even with a bad apple in the mix I will continue to buy FORD.. but only @ NORTH CENTRAL FORD...

My purchase experience overall went well. I had done lots of research prior to arriving at NCF so I knew the car and options I was interested in. The sales associate was helpful in answering some additional questions. My one complaint was how LOOOONG the process took. We worked out the price for the car, I had financing, but it still took forever to get out the door. Once the deal is made the sales associate goes off and leaves you so there isn't any update of what is going on. Felt like I was at the airport with a flight running late and you can't get any information other than it is late. How about an information board like they have at the airport "so-so new car is in make ready", "Next to be financed is..." etc. Just something would make a long wait better. Every thirty minutes you sit there you get a free car wash / free oil change?

This was the best experience I've had when having warranty work done on my vehicle. I had a really bad experience at Five star ford last year dealing with the same warranty issues. Thank u North Central! You know how to treat your customers & you had my car fixed in record time.

I doubt that your service advisor wants to see me ...

I doubt that your service advisor wants to see me in the service department ever again but I am completely frustrated. I have no questions over the routine maintenance or the annual safety inspection performed.

My issue pertains to Ford s Sync 3 Navigation data and the lack of map updates for Ford s Sync 3 navigation program. I have no indication that Ford dealership owners are even aware of the problem and Ford Corporate customer relations won t provide a solution or a projected solution date.

My Sync 3 navigation data is dated 2014 and is installed on a 2016 Escape. Your current 2019 Fords with navigation have a 2017 database. I can t beg, borrow, buy, or steal a 2019 navigation database for my Sync 3 system. My Sync 3 navigation system is forced to operate with a FIVE year old database.

Until Ford and their dealerships address this unresolved issue they sold to their customers, I will not be able to give either Ford or its dealerships the rating they desire. If the issue is not resolved, my next vehicle won t be a Ford and I have owned Fords since the 1990 s.

Will most likely be changing Ford service provider to another dealer. After months of returns (three times) was now informed that the repair Brake job (squealing sounds) is common and is caused by Ford Mopac pads.

I thought the service here was okay (at best) until I brought my 2012 escape to Randall Reed's Park Cities Ford of Dallas. North Central is literally trash compared to them. The service at North Central always took forever, the service reps were very rude, and nearly impossible to get in touch with. I really wish I would have taken my car to Park Cities in the first place, their service is heavenly compared to this place, they don't reccomend anything you don't need (like north central) and their diagnostic fees are HALF what they charge here at north central. I wasted a lot of time and money here. Please go toPark Cities Ford in Dallas instead.

Shout out to North Central Ford for their attention to detail in both sales, particularly Todd Mayes, and service department, Russell Huffman. Todd has been outstanding in helping me and and my family with the purchase of several vehicles over the past 5 years. He's very attentive to your needs and requirements when purchasing a vehicle and will work hard for you so you don't have to. Thanks Todd!!

Made an appointment with service for a recall repair so that I'd have it back for an out of town work trip. Liars said it would be ready same day. Dropped it off at 7 am to give them plenty of time. Not ready. Go a n y w h e r e but here. They suck at service. And won't take responsibility for their screw ups.

Always a great experience! The North Texas Ford staff was friendly, timely and made sure I was taken care of. The lounge was clean and calming that allowed me to focus on work. After my maintenance, a North Texas Ford representative walked me through step by step the process and quality service they provided on my 2017 Expedition. NTX Ford is always a great experience that I can count on!
