Nh Hoteles - Laguna Palace Review

Nice modern hotel ! Very expensive at least for the days I was there. Not ideal for tourists because you have to walk a lot for the common public transport in order to get to Venice old city! There is a bus service outside but the schedule was not so helpful and we had to use an other bus line 800m away.

Large hotel with many rooms, rooms large and clean, good big beds, good breakfast, bar less not very cozy and only for food, drink expensive in the hotel, beer 5 euros, coke 4.50 euros, bus stop in front of the door, train station (Mestre) about 15 minutes walk, bus to Venice 25 minutes (bus 43), train tickets return 2.50 to Venice, not much to do in the vicinity of the hotel, no bars or cafes, center of Mestre not much to do either. 3 3 restaurants within walking distance. McDonald's 10 minutes walk, taxi to airport (20 minutes) price 35 euros, return shuttle to Venice 2 people 25 euros to book at the hotel reception, all in all good hotel but nothing to do in the area, so good for overnight but this is everything too.

Very nice clean comfortable. One towel though to 2 occupants in the room.

Clean rooms. Kind of bland but quiet. 20 minute bus ride to get to Venice. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Few restaurants and grocery store also near by.

Unbelievable !!!! There is building A for the rich and building B for the less well-off (100 ) for one night! We check in in building A then we have to go all around the buildings under the sun, temperature 36 degrees, with all our luggage in hand to finally arrive at building B. We ask the reception if we can have lunch in the hotel but everything was closed. We were told that there was only the possibility of eating panini sandwiches. Going to this bar, we found that we could eat lasagna! No correct information. Finally the wifi was horrible. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Great view from my room .... but service and kitchen rather normal ....

Traveled in summer 2020 as a family with one child. Nice family room, modern hotel. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel is not so nice and you feel uncomfortable at times. Parking is very cheap from the hotel. When it comes to city trips, we always travel to the NH group. As is almost always the case with NH, we were more than satisfied with the hotel. Thanks for the nice stay.

The hotel, despite not being in the old city, is very well located. It allows you to take a bus and reach the old city in 10 min.
The gym is a bit poor.
Breakfast is pretty good. Especially the cakes.

Boutique rooms, awesome views and great location for exploring Venice during the day. Had an issue with room being clean, but was promptly switched to a different room.

Very pleasant hotel. Spacious, modern rooms that are kept clean. Friendly staff and an extensive and delicious breakfast. Location near the city is also perfect, the bus stops right outside and takes you to Venice in 15 minutes. An absolute must if you go to Venice by car, because you can park (paid) in the underground garage.

Beautiful hotel that overlooks marina, and conveniently located a short 10 minute bus ride to Venezia. The beds feel a combination of spring base and memory gel top, providing support and comfort for a great night sleep. Breakfast buffet was also a great selection. Highly recommend

Hotel with good central location in Venice. The rooms are spacious and modern. In the evening there is a delicious Italian cuisine with various dishes. Organized are water taxi, directly from the hotel to the islands of Venice.

Very nice hotel, great location near Venice (20 minutes by bus which goes every 15 minutes from under the Hotel itself - cost 3 euros in both directions) Clean rooms comfortable spacious, good food, very nice and helpful staff. Pleasant conference rooms. Close to the airport (15 minutes by taxi, and 30 bus, to Marco Polo airport) I recommend it!

Big modern hotel with a good breakfast. Not incredibly easy to get to Venice from here, however.

Fab hotel. I'd say it could do with a deep clean as there was a few marks here and there but nothing major. It is located right by a bus stop that takes you to Venizia and the staff at the front desk were more than happy to give me directions. You can also purchase single tickets and day passes from the hotel which is very handy. One night we had food in the hotel, it was lovely but I personally would have preferred a bigger portion (but maybe I am just greedy). Everything I could ask for in a hotel with shops nearby.

Very convenient to move easily to the historic center of Venice, a step away from the bus stop and 3 minutes by car from the train station. Good hotel, large, covered parking.

I was in this hotel for a conference..the locals are suitable but the service a little poor ..

Not so good and looking very tired, we had a supposed upgraded room and it was a bit shabby the blinds on the windows did not function and we reported it 3 times and it was only on our last evening that they managed to roll them up manually so our canal view was a non starter, the shower is very scruffy with cracked floor tiles and it could do with a refurb.

Near Old Venice you only need to take a bus, the 4L to be precise !!! Very nice hotel, next to a canal. People tend to you with kindness. The breakfast is delicious.

Great Hotel. Beautiful location. Convenient to visit Venice from the mainland. In 10 min. By bus you get to Piazzale Roma in Venice. Breakfast to say the least amazing, try it! Very nice rooms.

Very good hotel with a good breakfast in a great location if you stay out of town

Laguna Palace Venice is a big modern hotel spanned across two buildings separated by a lagoon. It looked like a corporate setup hotel, but there is no pool or other leisure facilities in the hotel except a gym.

Rooms were neat and tidy in our building, it had a kettle and tea/coffee options. There was no iron in the room, however there was an iron room on 5th floor in the same building. Breakfast was good. But, one of our rooms did not have a working Air conditioning. We had to call the reception many times at night to fix it, but they were of no help. Finally, they sent someone at 12 o'clock to check the AC and later on by 1:00 AM we were shifted to another room after multiple requests. Rooms size was good in this building and there was good space to keep luggage, room had cupboard and safe. Also, after checkout we had kept our luggage in the hotel till evening. But, when we came back to pick up the luggage, the reception wasn't aware that we had kept our luggage. There was zero coordination between staff switching shifts. Finally, we found our luggage.

Super market stores are nearby. Bus stop is also close-by. It is very easy to reach Venice island by bus from the hotel. Bus journey is only 15 minutes. Hotel also provides the option to purchase transport pass which is valid on Bus, ferries in Venice.

Like being in a prison. Have to go around outside of building to get to the resturaunt. A/C poor in many of my tour's rooms. Repeated problems with the door locks. Extreme lack of closet space.

The hotel is very nice. Large clean rooms, good breakfast buffet, free parking nearby. However guidance from staff in the main building is poor. The hotel has two buildings with car access both. At the main reception you re suggested to drag your luggage through an uncomfortable path to the second building. Wouldn t it be more convenient to have suggested us drive there instead? Also bus availability guidance was incomplete.

Large hotel located right in the center of Mestre located in Viale Ancona .. has large, spacious and elegant rooms but in the sober .. Not in the vast .. however the most interesting thing is that it has a beautiful reception room that can hold many people for a congress and with simultaneous translators for foreigners

Discrete uncomfortable solution divided on 2 towers that forces you to go out to reach the meeting rooms. Not bad the kitchen even if the service people are not very kind

Fantastic. I have been a guest of them for a couple of months now and the whole staff is really kind! A praise to the director for organization to Teresa and to Marta who together with colleagues make you the unique breakfasts and satisfy you in all needs. Bravi!

The room we had was very nice. Very clean hotel and staff is very friendly. McDonald's and grocery stores are 5 min walk. There is a shopping centre about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. The bus station to Venice is about 5 min walk and it takes about 15 mins to get to Venice. The restaurant at the hotel is nice but a bit pricey. Enjoyed my stay overall.

I go there for meetings or business conferences. Very easy to reach and very convenient with underground parking at normal prices. Clean, elegant.

Exterior is fine but interior of rooms need some upgrade or renovation. Front desk (Building B) staff needs some training on the system that she could not perform the other NH collections or hotels offered.

I used to think this hotel was ok. More recently it seems to get worse and worse. Some of the beds don t have headboards. The bed ends next to a flat surface that extends to the wall. I often found myself partially on the bed and partially on the hard faux wood surface.

The air conditioning is weak and sometimes shuts off during the night maybe to save money for the hotel.

The last few times I was there I couldn t find an iron. When I inquired at the front desk they said they were fire hazards and you had to go to a certain floor to use an iron.

The breakfast area is poorly laid out and gets rather crowded.

The staff is pleasant.

Nice hotel on the boat dock. Services ok. Restaurant ok. All in all also close to the station. It has a shuttle service and a boat (for a fee) to reach Venice

I am staying in this amazing hotel. Strategic place both to abdate to Venice and to visit other places. Welcoming reception, efficient breakfast service with professional staff. Excellent bar service with the presence of Mostafa who gives us unforgettable evenings. I highly recommend.

Spectacular! The relationship between price and quality of the services offered is remarkable. Unfortunately, the parking is public for a fee, except for very few places that cannot be easily traced.

Maybe it's me who was expecting more from a 4-star hotel. I state that the rooms were clean and the breakfast super, but if you end up in the residence B the services how to make you warm a bottle or take something to drink you must inexorably leave the residence B to go to that A. Over all different discomforts also in the room as taken of the bedside table defective the broken kettle and the room telephone out of service. I repeat, perhaps it is I who, given the not-so-cheap cost of 400E for 3 nights, expected more. The room was the 468 for instance with a view of the building. The restaurant very good and with quality ingredients but overly expensive.
