Old and unequipped, non properly maintained NH Hotel (embarrassing crew lounge, and even a worse gym just across the hall).
Not in the standards of other NH hotels across europe I stayed in...which is a pity.
The hotel's stuff (most of them) are the only ray of sunshine in this moist and damped hotel.

I don't put one more star because of the exaggeration of the air conditioning. Instead of Venice it looked like Siberia. It also does not turn off at all ... It is as if it had an automatic mode. So we slept very well for the time of the year we are in (August). Bad for the environment.

The hotel is a good standard, clean and generally well presented. The staff are always happy to help, my only complaint would be no hot water and a noisy a/c unit.

Staff was good, but the poor guys cannot do much.
Rooms are reasonably quite but definitely not sound proof at all, you can listen to steps when people walk out side your room, and you can even listen to neighbours conversations clearly. I was on 2nd floor, since 10 AM, someone started moving furniture which continued till i left hotel in the evening. I knew that someone is suffering from flu in my next room. I could hear when a car or bike would passby from a road which was almost 300 meters away from my window.
Room service is extremely disappointing with only 3-sandwich and two Frozen Dish choices. Yeah, i m right, frozen dishes in a so called 4 star hotel???
I agree that rooms switches are adrift, only one was in proper condition.
INTERNET is free, i checked on speedtest and it was pathetic, 0.02MBPs. To write this review, it took me 5 minutes to load this page on a free internet. You pay 10Euros to get 24 hrs premium internet.

Stayed in the older of the 2 buildings and it clearly needed a renovation as the room looked and felt out of date. Big room and good ample space and facilities. Nothing special but good stay on the whole

Impressive all glass building overlooking a small marina. Beware the hotel consists of two separate buildings that do not communicate with each other. To go to the restaurant from building B you have to go out and go around. Really not practical. Beautiful rooms large and comfortable. But quirks: control blinds down, taken very inconvenient to charge his laptop, an electric kettle but no outlet where to plug ... the hotel is a restaurant that is convenient in this absolutely frightful area of Mestre. But the prices are very high and the service disproportionately long when a few tables are occupied. In the morning nice buffet for breakfast. Note that the hotel is a good 10 min walk to buses to Venice. The reception staff speaks English easily and understands French. In total nice comfortable hotel but practical aspects not ideal.

Unfortunately did the staff steal my two jackets out of the room and I was dissapointed about the lack of service. They didnt offer anything, zero compensation or whatsoever and little service to help me.
The service in the meeting room waa also not great. Providing coffee and tea with a broken coffee pot and only cups, with no saucers. Not the service and quality I expect from a hotel like this NH Hotel. Considering the high price.

Went there for a corp event. The first room provided was rather run down and had a water leak on the ceiling. We have been changed to another room after that. Breakfast buffet was good. Location is nice as you can get to Venice in a quick bus ride.
It is clean and nice. But it is too far from bus stop or train station to Venice. If you are happened to be oriental then prepare to get a bad room view(industrial site) in the rear building regardless you pay. Not very impressed with this. Sorry! Would not stay here again when revisiting Venice. Good luck!
elegant hotel in the center of Mestre. He owns a private dock to reach Venice by sea. Great for meetings or business meetings.
Well-maintained, nice people, good location. Bus to downtown stops directly in front of hotel. Fruit in the lobby is always a mark of a good hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the NH Laguna Palace in December. We were here for the second time and would always like to stay in this house. Clean room, very friendly and hard-working room service. The table lamp did not work and the house technician came immediately and fixed it. The staff, from the front desk to the breakfast service was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet met our expectations. The location is ideal. We recommend the house to friends and acquaintances at every opportunity and will surely come here again this year.

Terrible stay. First the positives: Convenient bus to Venice. A few restaurants and shops by easy walk. Very good breakfast buffet was included. Either the hotel is in decline or it s just the end of the low season, but the service was not ideal. My room had a stinky funk to it. When I couldn t get the air to work, I called the front desk. After some back and forth, for some reason the control in the room is turned off. There was no air flow. Not only funky smell, but it was warm. You can open one of the two windows to cool down at night, but there is no screen so it lets mosquitos in. Ultimately opened the window, got a bunch of mosquito bites. Didn t sleep well at all. Low price hotel, but just not worth it if you can t sleep. Would d finitely not stay there again.

Great location for getting to Venice by bus. The bus stops right outside the door and costs 1.30.
Breakfast was good and adequate, room clean. There is nothing to complain about.
It is a good hotel, it is large and the bus station to go to Venice is very close, the good and free breakfast and a friendly and fast treatment by the employees. What happens are two details one that the room that touched me 318 I do not know if it is why it is the last one in the corner but there was a lot of noise from those who were in 319 it could be because the walls are made of table rock and let all the noise through. And secondly, as for the climate, we are hot right now in summer, they should check the ventilation, although we called the technician, it did not help much. That is why the three stars I hope will improve it and my review will serve many future guests.

Positively evaluated with regard to the conference offer. The underground car park is useful and allows you to reach the hotel and convention center directly. Not exciting surroundings.
