I have just completed my stay in brisbane overall i have had a exceptional stay great location the room was a great size and very clean ..the staff where very accommodating with our deal we got breakfast both days first morning my breakfast was to die for but this morning i ordered exactly the same thing and it was fowl i couldnt even eat a mouth full bacon and scrabled eggs on a sourdough by the time i had tried to soak up all the excess liquid (water and oil)off my plate i had filled a whole napkin the young lady asked if i wanted it replaced but by then the damage was done it was a sad way to finish off our stay...i will stay here again the location is wonderful

I've never stayed at the Next Hotel, but everytime I've been for drinks or a meal by the pool I've really wished I was.

Great location in heart of Brisbane. Nice touches like free unlimited internet and four mini bar items just top it off.

Very good location. Located at centre of town. Good facility. Smart tv and hot spot device.

A few hiccups with cleaning and the valet (hence, lack of 2 stars) but staff were very polite, helpful, and were great with their customer service. All-you-can-eat breakfast no so good; order one main meal and then the little things like croissants and salads were the all-you-can-eat.

A lovely boutique hotel in the middle of Brisbane Queen Street Mall bang opposite Myer Centre entrance. If you are expecting large standard rooms this is not for you. Rooms though small are well furnished and comfortable. Sliding doors bring privacy. Amenities are good and staff pleasant and courteous. Free movies and 4 snacks from the mini bar every day are an added bonus. Hectic at some times patience goes a long way. Level 4 provides peace and solitude when waiting for your connection after checkout. Try the sleep pods. I was sceptical first but found them relaxing before my long flight home. Images will not reflect truly what Next Hotel has to offer. Will definitely come back.

Really nice modern hotel. Check out luxury escapes website for great deals. $279 for 2 people for 2 nights. Including buffet breakfast, 4 mini bar items a day and $50 hotel credit.

From the moment we pulled up the valet service was friendly and helpful. The reception staff were the staff and made our check in smooth as well as offering an upgrade for a larger room.

Restaurant staff and bar staff were the same. Meal packages were good value and offering good variety as well as big serves. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. All the staff were just great.
Check out was just as smooth.
I would recommend Next to anyone.

Nice place, room and service. Would certainly go back. Couldn't really fault it but 4 stars as it didn't have the wow factor.

The location was great - so close to everything. The room was clean and nicely decorated - comfy bed and modern appliances (including a phone from which you could control all the lights in the room!). The staff were friendly. The rooftop bar was great and the bartender really knew what he was doing.

The most courteous staff at the reception and great pool area but not so much the staff at the bar at the reception (too bored and not willing to engage the customers). On the night I was staying lifts were not working properly and I had to wait up to 15 mins just to get down from my level. Since my room already included the mini bar no other compensation was offered for this rather large inconvenience.

Overcharged for the room. I had been told on check-in the room was paid for. When I rang about being charged, I was lied to and told it would be reimbursed that day. It still has not been. Disappointed to be lied to.

It should not take 3 days to fix hotel theft. Would advise caution with your credit card at this place.

This hotel Is awesome. Friendly service, relaxing, quiet and good rooms. 4 complimentary bar snack items and everything controlled by a centralised Samsung phone system which is brilliant, unless you need to find the bathroom at 3am, because there are no actual light switches (I was tired and couldn t be bothered trying to figure it out) *I still give this place 5 stars. The room layout has been cleverly thought out and is functional. Things just work. I ll be staying here next time for sure.

Great location - great views, good pool and friendly staff. Breakfast was nice. Potential upgrade offered during booking wasn t mentioned. The downsides were no basic cutlery or crockery in room, hot water was temperamental, and the phone in the room kept making a beeping noise. The four included mini bar items is a nice touch but they re basic.

The service is not very good. The bed is very comfortable. The location is also good. Accessing by car is complicated, once you know it there is no problem. The menu is not very extensive. The pool looked very large in the photos and is quite small. Those are the most negative points. But the hotel is nice.

Unplanned stopover in Brisbane and airline put us up. Convenient spot for city center. Rooms on 13th floor were quite compact, however really well presented and decked out with all the latest tech to make spending time in the space extremely comfortable. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Would definitely look to stay here when planning a trip.

A refreshingly new attention to the little things. A modernised new vogue style. Everything can be operated by the app, from check-in to using the lights and TV. But by far.... The best, (and we've stayed in nearly every different chain hotel around the world) is the staffs attention to detail. From the moment you step through the doors, they are there to make sure you are logged after. In this age of rushing around, it's so refreshing, so many businesses could take a leaf out of their book. You should be very proud.

Great futuristic hotel with self checkin and smart mobile phone controlled room lights, tv, and air cond, great comfy room and love the free items from the mini bar and free movies. The techno gym is good, the sleep pods are handy a must stay on a Sunseeker Australia voucher I highly recommend this and you search seeoz in google to become a member

Staying at the Next Hotel in Brisbane was a wonderful experience. Service was awesome and the valet service was so convenient! The location can't be beat, so close to everything! Will definitely stay again!

Friendly & accommodative staff, great location as it was near restaurants, cafes, COFFEES EVERYWHERE, souvenir shop, super near to bus stop & getting a taxi was easy breezy. & they have departmental store just across the hotel which i cant remember the name

So we checked in on Friday to the next hotel in Brisbane we were very excited to spend the weekend as it was a celebration for our anniversary. On arrival we were met with very friendly staff at the front desk and bags were instantly taken up to the room. Fantastic service from the reception desk. Saturday different story. We had a friend meet us in Lennon s where we were left waiting at the bar for 5 minutes whilst they filled buckets with ice and ignored us whilst they ignored us wanting a drink. She then turned around and said can you please wait until I ve filled the buckets of ice. We then proceeded to purchase a bottle of Piper ($99) only to be told to be move away from the bar for the fruit bowl placement which had to be there (**note bar was empty). We decided to head up to the pool bar where we were told she was running late and could we wait 10 minutes (it was 12.05 and the bar opened at 12). We left the pool bar because the service was appalling not appealing and decided to purchase our own alcohol and drink it in our room. We then asked for 4 wine glasses (from downstairs at Lennon s) where we were refused. We then went to the friendly reception team where our expectations were finally met and we got our wine glasses (from the person who refused us at Lennon s originally). In summary I really feel like Lennon s let s down next hotel and they need to hire people with experience.

This is more like a 5 star resort with the most amazing amenities. The rooms are amazing and being a tech lover being able to control the whole room with a phone is amazing.

I went to the bar with my partner on his birthday, the rooftop bar was really nice, friendly staff. Only had a couple of cocktails they were very nice. Will be going back.

Not sure what the fuss is about this hotel...not at all what we expected from the great reviews we read. We booked this hotel based on the location and infinity roof top pool. What a disaster...the pool area is smaller than the photos suggest and almost constantly booked out for company events and people off the street. No space at all for hotel guests to enjoy the facilities. Rooms are small and no bath tub. This hotel would be great for a work trip...would not suggest it EVER to anyone traveling for leisure.

Quite a good hotel. Convenient location right on Queen St Mall. Highlight for me was the pooldeck. Nice place for a drink with views of the mall.

Best location on Queen Street mall. Super modern design and always up to date with latest technology. Smart room with HVAC and lighting controls from smart device. Free movie selection. Free coffee pod machine. Stayed here multiple times and always impressed.

A Lovely Hotel, my home is in North Queensland in rural surroundings, having to be in the city is a very stressful thing for me, The staff at Next Hotel Brisbane were so lovely, it made my stay in the city alot easier, the staff are helpful and so polite, the room was wonderful, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is fantastic.
Thank you, for making my short stay in the city less stressful, all the staff members that I seen or passed by were so polite, The Desk staff and Housekeeping staff all very polite, Lovely people.

Very nice hotel. Modern with all the tech gears. You can have 4 free items a day from the mini bar.. Great pool bar, Happy hour 5 to 7 pm daily and yummy cocktails! Breakfast, have a great variety of food including n the cooked breakfast. This hotel is situated right on Queen Street Mall so very close to everything!

Poor room service - cold takeaway food delivered without napkins or cutlery and a bottle of wine delivered than was already open and half empty. Staff seemed young, disinterested and careless. Otherwise, it was a clean room and good location.

Check in and check out were the most pleasant part of our stay. We were staying the night as we were attending a function at the hotel. The function was a disaster, the bar staff at the pool were rude - even rolling their eyes at me when I requested a bottle of champagne. My requested dairy free meal consisted Of meat and bread, no vegetables, no salad and I had to ask for a sauce....Our included breakfast saw me clear our table from the previous person and then having to wait for service to order our meal. Again the wait staff made us feel that they were not happy to be there. Please train your staff to smile and be polite, working in the hospitality industry is hard, but you don t need to make it unpleasant. After that experience, I don t think we will be back.

Modern and technological refurb. Level 3 Pool deck is nice location for afterwork drink. Can have a long bar service wait when busy. Great location in Queens St Mall. Beer and cider selection is pretty limited.

Best hotel in brissy. Second time here in 6 months and will be my base from now on every time I m here. Love the staff, especially reception. On my last stay I booked in and locked in the wrong date with Agoda. The check in lady told me to call them and they will sort it out with no dramas and true to their word they did. This is abnormal as any changes with an Agoda booking is a chance for them to jab you but these guys didn t. Next time I ll just book direct and sign onto their loyalty programme. The rooms are small but well designed and funky. I like the mini bar scheme which gives me free choice to any 4 items per night including beers. The club lounge is also good if you re away on business and want to get some work done but not be limited to the confines of your room. The hotel is in the best location in brissy except my recommendation would be to walk to the nearest main road to grab an Uber. Bloody one way streets will mean you ll wait ages. Will return again!

Customer service was very poor. We had an issue with our room booking, and they weren't very helpful. Although the hotel is in a good location

Really enjoyed my time at NEXT. Rooms are well designed to feel bigger and use apps/phone tech really well. Couple of small issues. They offer *free* thongs - but only in 1 size that would not fit 95% of men. Also my wife and I wanted to use the pool and were told it was being used for a brief photo shoot. 2 hours later...still off-limits. But the service, convenience and quality was excellent. Reasonable rates - we used Qantas FF points to lessen the cost.
