So we checked in on Friday to the next hotel in Br...

So we checked in on Friday to the next hotel in Brisbane we were very excited to spend the weekend as it was a celebration for our anniversary. On arrival we were met with very friendly staff at the front desk and bags were instantly taken up to the room. Fantastic service from the reception desk. Saturday different story. We had a friend meet us in Lennon s where we were left waiting at the bar for 5 minutes whilst they filled buckets with ice and ignored us whilst they ignored us wanting a drink. She then turned around and said can you please wait until I ve filled the buckets of ice. We then proceeded to purchase a bottle of Piper ($99) only to be told to be move away from the bar for the fruit bowl placement which had to be there (**note bar was empty). We decided to head up to the pool bar where we were told she was running late and could we wait 10 minutes (it was 12.05 and the bar opened at 12). We left the pool bar because the service was appalling not appealing and decided to purchase our own alcohol and drink it in our room. We then asked for 4 wine glasses (from downstairs at Lennon s) where we were refused. We then went to the friendly reception team where our expectations were finally met and we got our wine glasses (from the person who refused us at Lennon s originally). In summary I really feel like Lennon s let s down next hotel and they need to hire people with experience.
