Great pool bar, love the location and friendly staff

|GREAT FIND| loved this hotel. Awesome location, value for money, and highlighting some cool tech gadgets. Only downside is their terrace bar closed at 8:30 for drinks, hopefully in the summer months it s open later. The room was very generous in size with a very comfortable bed and amenities throughout. Will stay here again!

Great venue location, food and drinks. Bar staff a little lacking on some occasions. Hope to visit again and see some improvement and upgrade to 5 star.

An odd combined venue of restaurant bar/hotel pool etc. It's okay but plenty of better places to go in the city for a drink I think.

Terrible, absolutely terrible. Service is terrible food is absolutely disgusting. Save yourself the headache.

First night of four and already impressed. Amazing high tech, comfortable and relaxing hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Gym has the basics for a decent workout, pool is sweet and is right in the heat of Brisbane. Recommend for a leisure weekend or a business trip stay.

Fantastic hotel, comfortable, stylish and conveniently located. The gym was an above average hotel gym. Free 4 mini bar items is a nice touch, plus selected movies. I didn't use them but they also have sleep/work pods for use after check out but before you need to leave. Highly recommended.

Prime location, fantastic amenities and very modern/sophisticated feel

Great business lounge, perfect for working from when you're away from the office. The same lounge turns into a nice bar with a fantastic outdoor area later in the day. Slick check in/out & great customer service. I'll definitely stay there again.

Clean, location is excellent, parked at Myers centre, i think aimed at business market more than others but would recommend to others

The location is pretty much the most central you can get. I love that 4 free mini bar items are included so that you can just grab a cold bottle of water in the morning and not have to worry about being charged $8. The wifi is the best that I've ever had in a hotel. In terms of the room, I love having a pod coffee machine, the robes are awesome and not only are there some foxtel channels but also free on demand movies to compete the experience. All the lights, air con and room service are available at the touch of a button on a samsung phone (that you could also take out of the hotel room for local calls, what a bonus for foreign travellers!) My only criticism is that I would love slippers instead of thongs after a long hot shower.

The staff are always super friendly at NEXT. The view from the pool is the reason we head to this bar. It is a stunning.

Food at breakfast bar was good, wouldn't go there for take away coffee though

Pool was pretty much off limits during our entire stay. Multiple Christmas parties took place. No lounge chairs for hotel guests and awkward swimming in front of people on a night out. Would be an ok hotel if on business. Won t stay there again for leisure. No word back from management either on the matter.

Gorgeous location for a Friday arvo drink - poolside, classy tunes, shady tables, top service. Love the happy hour specials - $10 cocktails (3 to choose from), $7 craft beers & $5 house wines.

Great hotel, great location, beautiful pool with few seating

We stayed here for one night, but we wish it was longer. On arrival there was convenient parking at Myers (only $15) and once we arrived, there was a swift and friendly check-in. The room was clean and fitted out with all the convenient technology to make our stay comfortable. Mood lighting, free movies, very comfortable beds and and a great view. We will be back again soon!

For a last minute choice the hotel turned to be really good. Very good location, the rooms are big and the beds are really comfy. The rooms are provided with necessary things. All in all good experience and for sure coming again.

The location is very good, the service is over five stars. After checking out, you can stay in the lounge on the fourth floor and enjoy free drinks. Super recommended!

Poolside bar is nice, however drink prices are high for this part of the city

Fantastic location in Queen Street Mall. The pool is the perfect place to unwind with a drink after a busy day. Great bar and restaurant on site too. Breakfast is cooked to order, from a selection. Fresh and hot, way better than full buffet.
The staff were great, extremely professional and helpful. Room was well appointed, comfy bed.
Anyone with even minor mobility issues may have difficulty getting in and out of the pool, worth noting before you get in.

Food and service is disgusting with extorted prices being charged.
Hotel is currently being used for quarantine. If this is how they treat their unfortunate guests I would NEVER stay there.

Location is great - Right on the Queen Street Mall. We like the high tech rooms which have comfortable beds, free movies, free minibar items. We also like the pool bar area for a relaxing drink. Staff are friendly as well just to top it off. Valet parking is a little expensive but there is an arrangement with Myer Centre car park for a reasonable alternative.

Great facilities, modern rooms a Hub for Business professionals (great for networking) Superior Queen room is small but functional.

New, smart hotel perfectly located right in the middle of Queen Street mall. Immaculate rooms, gorgeous lap pool and free wi-fi. Friendly staff. Plenty of shops and restaurant options nearby, and Coles supermarket a short walk away for groceries. Would happily return to this hotel.

Room was very dusty old towel left under vanity and half bottle water left from previous window was dirty smudge marks all over the deal we had we had to ask for our items they knew what we had paid for yet didn t try to make it happen ,nothing was open in pool area ,the $1 Breakfast was good and bed was comfy customer service could be better .

I've stayed here many times. Each stay has been excellent. I'm particularly impressed with the modern but comfortable & calming styling of the rooms. The beds are 10/10 for my chronic back pain. The staff are friendly and efficient. The gym has 24/7 guest access & is well equipped. Sleep pods & departure lounge are rare guest services and much appreciated for early arrivals or late departures. Food and beverage services also offer variety and convenience. It also centrally located to transport & places of interest. NEXT is my favorite Brisbane destination.

This is the best by far.

Nice spot for a drink provided the balcony isn't booked for a private function. Staff are friendly but service is slow. There were no after-work specials, so best for a short pre-drink on the way to dinner or somewhere else. Appreciated the quieter atmosphere - it's actually possible to have a conversation here

Very clean and well appointed rooms. Fast check in and four free items from the mini bar each day. Friendly staff.

Straff not service minded, in room dining, disaster, cold Burger, no salt to frites, no napkins, no tools and no glass for the beer.

Great dinning here, the chef knew how to cook the food correctly and provided a really good experience, the only let down was the waiters, they did not come across as being exprienced and they didnt know the menu well enough.

Had a dinner plan there and it's a beautiful place. The ambience and deco is great. Location is just as good as you're smacked down where all the shopping is...unfortunately didn't book a room there so I cant be much help. Great location, great food, cosy.

It used to be a handy place for gathering, over night stay, semi roof top bar was great. It took me 2 min of the most recent visit, used glasses, bottles, dishes were everywhere, floor glued my shoes when walking over, run away to another roof top bar instead:)

Nice hotel in great location. However, hotel service and restaurant is just horrible. Ate at morning buffet, literally empty shelves, coffee makers not working, no cups and worse, nobody to complain to.

Hotel - ask for luggage to be brought down and for a taxi to be called. 70min later ask again.

Great location, right in the heart of Brisbane on Queen st mall. Room was compact but very clean and tidy. Also very modern. Only needed service of staff with checkin/checkout but they were great. Woud recommend hotel to everyone. Also bar/ restaurant within hotel are very good.

The room can be controlled by an app on your phone everything from tv to lights to air con which makes it a bit fun! Also bonus being a wireless charger for your phone next to the bed.

Hotel is situated with a great location, the rooms are very well presented and clean. Dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and complementing. Also your allowed 4 free items from the mini bar and also a section of free films, which are benefits not many hotels provide.

Lovely place to stay, convenient to the city and shopping, very comfy beds. Only down side is that our room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. Glassware not put away, open milk in fridge etc. We have stayed here many times and this is the first time we have encountered this. Would still recommend.

Friendly, spacious and accommodating. If your in passing by be sure to grab a coffee from the cafe located near reception. One of the best ive had in a long time. Was not expecting anything special and to be honest i was greatly surprised . Check it out

I've stayed at next hotel on two occasions note and both were great experiences. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has good food - though not as good as the first time I visited. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It is done of the extras that make this a good place to stay: the free mini-bar items, the movies and the technology filled room.
I would definitely recommend next hotel.

Great place to stay, great location and customer service. Tech facilities were not very functional, moved rooms when our smart tv wouldn't work and then the tv stopped working in the new room too.

Popped in for a drink and had a on point rusty nail.

Well worth it! Good location & modern hotel!

Right in the centre of Brisbane and it was perfect from the beginning. They have thought about the little things and really tried to make it work. The automatic lights, Aircon and service that were accessible from the device was an excellent touch. It would be good if this app was downloadable to your own phone.
I don't normally write reviews but this hotel was good value, well thought out with a good size room. Perfect for a city break.

Stayed three nights on business. I chose the hotel due to the location. All staff were amazing and willing to go the extra step. I won't stay anywhere else in Brisbane.

Lots of modern conveniences including free mini bar snacks. Bed was very comfortable. Perfect for a business stay.
