This New Season's has a nice mom-n-pop cozy feel :) Even though this location is a bit smaller than some of the other stores, it stills has everything I need and then some. Parking can be a little tricky, but who has a car in Portland anyway right? :)

Very nice high-end groceries. Great meat counter. Very nice atmosphere that you pay for. Limited parking at this smallish location. Always helpful staff.
Really exotic store! If you like whole foods, you'll love New Seasons. The feature I liked the most is the space meter that shows how many spaces are available on the top level of the parking garage, i found this to be very helpful.
The absolutely worst store ever. I have a service dog and the lady wiping carts laughed at me when I told her and wanted to hold and inspect his card no way covid germ lady. Rude and stuck up snobby store.
News Seasons is our favorite place to get groceries. For this location, there is parking above the store. You have to enter it from the west side of the structure. Parking is limited, so you will want to go during non-peak times.
The only thing this new seasons has going for it is parking on the roof and its location, otherwise it's a small store and I usually go to Division or Broadway
Busy and crowded, but it's nice to have a New Seasons in the neighborhood. The people who work here have a much better attitude than the people who work at 7 Corners.
Overall, New Seasons is a pretty nice grocery store. The meat, seafood, and produce is all fresh. Also, they have a nice wine selection. Definitely recommend.
Best customer service! Chatted with an employee about a bubbly beverage I loved and he pointed out a new flavor I didn't know about. He left and came back with that specific beverage and told me it was on him. Thank you for the care.
The Woodstock store is better stocked. This one is pretty minimal. Sort of spendy, which is what you expect at New seasons. But they do carry hard to find items like Skyr
The smallest New Seasons location. Can feel a bit crowded, and the selection is naturally a bit sparse. Other than that its a great place to grab a coffee and a bite to eat.
The smallest and seemingly the busiest new seasons in the area. Only go here if you really need to or live in the area. Thankfully there are other New Seasons closer to where I live.
Went for my monthly shopping to NE Hawthorne location. I was pleased to see active efforts to offer and sustain safety protocols. There were geaters at both entrances, baskets a d carts were disinfected, floors were well marked for easy flow., and more. Now if only shoppers would follow them. I saw people taking off their masks, walking down any aisle they liked instead of following the arrows, etc. I think that this store is too small for more than 5 people to shop totally safely. Otherwise, the selection was great. Granted paper goods, pre-packaged items had gaps in inventory, but I think it's to be expected under current COVID-19 culture.
This location is smaller than the others, but it is never too crowded, they stock everything I need and the employees are all extremely friendly and helpful.
Probably the best grocer in Portland, the locations differ little as the staff are always courteous and friendly, the stores are always clean, and most staff can help in most situations
New Season's bottle return area is clean, their machine works quickly and consistantly, and the wait times are short to non-existent. The employees are friendly, & answer the "call" button quickly.
Oh Hawthorne Nouveau Saisons, you're alright. You're the second closest grocery to my house, and I'm pretty pleased with your organic produce selection and your specialty goods. I'd like to stroll over to you on a Sunday morning, pick up an Americano and just breathe in your organic air. I'd like to sneak down your vitamin isle like a quiet little mouse so as not to alert your extremely attentive vitamin isle staff. I'd like to buy 6 or 7 strips of thick cut maple bacon, a dozen free range eggs (or maybe, just one perfectly orange yolked duck egg) and take them home to my sleeping household for a breakfast surprise. I'd give you five stars, but, you know, you're too damn expensive for that. I'd like to do all that and more, but I've sadly had to move away and now can only see you very occasionally. So, if you catch me weeping in the kale section, please be kind, they're tears of joy.
This is a New Seasons Market. It is generally clean and pleasant.
I don't agree with the prices of New Seasons, which is why I always try to steal at least one item. Sometimes they catch me and I'm forced to pay full price for the item. When they catch me and I pay for the item, I go back and graze from the bulk bins with my bare hands.
The 3-star review is mostly due to the fact that, of the 5 times I've ordered a sandwich at the deli in the past year, they've only gotten it right ONCE. And my sandwich orders are not complex. I always get one of the standard sandwiches, but I sub out one of the ingredients and ask for it toasted.
So, one star for the deli, five stars for everything else.
I love New Seasons! It is probably my most favorite grocery store chain we ever, and one of the things I missed most about Oregon when I moved. The people who work here are so friendly and helpful!
I was just in the Hawthorn store, went to the meat department, two people behind the counter with their backs to the counter, ignoring the counter. A woman is talking away to someone stocking shelves, social chatter, after around 10 minutes she turns around, is wearing a new seasons badge, identifies herself as a manager. After telling her that I had been trying to get someone's attention for quite awhile, she proceeded to behave in an Oscar winning display of passive aggression, apparently didn't like her social life interrupted by customer care. When the managers behave so badly, hard to expect anything better from staff. The front register staff were kind and decent, perhaps they can run an I service in customer service for the meat department and their obnoxious manager. Not sure that rudeness and high prices are going to keep this company in business.
My favorite local grocery store: they carry conventional, local, and organic goods, as well a nice selection of healthy ready to take prepared meals. Nice staff, great samples, everything is fresh. Truly a great model for grocery stores.
