This truly a friendly store! A bit out of my way but worth it.
I go to the neighborhood New Seasons, 5blocks from home. Fresh baguettes. Great Seltzer water flavor (toasted coconut) omg!!! No calories no sugar. Jus the taste of coconut!!! Yummmmmmm!
Nice store. I recommend parking on the roof. You definitely pay more for food here but it's high quality. The meat and deli department is top notch as is the bakery and fruit department.
Lots of great produce and baked goods. Little spendy, especially the vitamin and health section. But I still like the stores because they are always clean and the staff is very helpful.
New Seasons is always great but Casper is the funniest cashier in the world.
I do wish they had sample cups.
Friendliest staff on Earth, solid community vibe, decent prices on most things.
This market has friendly employees, tasty deli food, soothing beverages, scrumptious produce, plus sweety treats!!
Great selection and they usually have the best prices on organic bulk goods.
Close to where I live
So convenient...not a big store BUT quality stuff. And nice people working there.
Beautiful and spacious new location. Good cheese, quality staff.
A supermarket full of Portland products. Although it is small compared to other supermarkets, it is good for souvenirs because the quality is high and only local products.
Really nice people. Good selection of healthy food. Seems expensive however, they are different products than other places.
Cass is fantastic! Always a pleasure to have him as our cashier.
Smaller than most but with friendly staff and great deli options.
Love New Seasons. Especially cheeses, breads, and humanely raised meats. Staff is welcoming, and genuinely seems happy to see me. Also appreciate 10 percent senior discount on Wednesday. Also have 10 percent discount for veterans on Tuesdays.
New Season caters to whiny hipsters, whose parents pay for their groceries because its so frickin expensive
Great selection, friendly and very helpful staff, and the store is a nice (not too big) size... Easy to run in, grab what you need, and be on your way.
Plus, Rainbow Jangles is often playing the three string out front, and that man can seriously jam on the strings.
Really a great market in Portland, Oregon . I enjoyed the coffee bar while there visiting family.
I've lived in the neighborhood for over a year without going here. I have been missing out. Wonderful place to have down the street.
Very friendly staff and patrons. Great selection of meat and local products
Absolutely wonderful store. Tons of delicious foods here. The staff is extremely helpful, and quite cheery. DEFINITELY one of my go-to markets for my ingredients.
I'm in heaven here. Excellent grocery store. One of the best.
Friendly service, awesome butcher and deli service. Carne Asada and Thai Peanut Skewers are our favorites (when they have them). Parking can be a pain sometimes but we love this store.
This place is awful, I talked with an employee there and was told some horrifying stories that sounded a century old. This company is shamelessly exploitative
Smaller NSM on Hawethorne, only has small seating area at front of store. More of a grab and go store.
This place is okay to drop in in the way home from work and find essentials, pre-prepared food, and some luxuries. I do find it difficult to navigate, at times, with oblivious customers blocking aisles with carts that seem too big for the narrow passages. That said, I can often park right out front, even during rush hour. And, that's a great thing given how busy the place is at that time of day.
Kinda small and prices seem a bit higher than average. Still pretty good shopping option though.
Great selection, like Whole Foods and Seattle's PCC supermarkets.
Great people, best produce, senior discount on Wednesday, & military discount Tuesday (I think). Wonderful baked goods.
New Seasons always seems to have what I need before I realize I need it. I usually walk out with more than I intended, but in a good way. They have an excellent selection of fresh local produce and really go hard for berry season, which I appreciate. They've also made safety a priority during the pandemic and seem to be taking it more seriously than some other grocers I've been to.
Great selection and love that I can get a great bite to eat while shopping! Erik is so helpful and friendly when I was checking out. I'll be back again!
Unique, organic food store. I enjoyed looking around and all the free samples!
Nice big grocery store with lots of organic artisanal goods and locally made produce.
I LOVE this market!! It has everything I need in a small market and more! I love how really friendly everyone is! They completely make my day and I leave smiling not only because I got the freshest, healthiest, affordable organic food here, but also I got some smiles and good cheer. That goes a long way, folks! Thanks for this awesome store!!
This location doesn't have the cafe space of most new seasons
This store is good, but small. The only parking is on the roof, which is fine, but if you miss the entrance, it's a loooong block you have to drive around to get back to it. On a completely unrelated note, I take offense at places that sell homeopathic "medicine". I'm sure it's profitable, but surely, as a company, you know that it's garbage. Don't enable con men to rip off your customers, even if they want to be ripped off. Take a stand against overpriced, fake medicine!
It just feels good to be in this store. I live right across the street from a couple other grocery stores, but I really enjoy making it over to this one bc the vibe is so nice. They have interesting produce, cool general merchandise, and a bunch of options for people who eat "alternative" diets, like veg, gluten free, low carb, etc. Their grab-and-go sandwiches and salads are pretty tasty (the ones they make in-store, specifically).
I really prefer getting my protein from them. It consistently tater tastes better than larger chain grocery stores
The food is as fresh as the people that work here. It's my favorite local grocer because the service and quality of products are top notch. I've even gone here on a down day just to be lifted up - good vibes all around!
I'm giving this place 5 stars because they are truly just that good.... butt they claim to be a very English pub. My suggestion is to get the option of haddock for your fish and I suggest trying to get haddock as your fish.. thays what rhe brirs use and trust me it works better. And if a small shack in salt lake can do it so can you
Great selection of (Peonies) flowers and healthy salads in the deli section! Went in to get adult Depends for my aging folks; they didnt have them, so we went over to Fred Meyers.
Nice place to get fancy picnic supplies but don't come in if you're on a budget.
Good layout, lots of options and specialty items. Fresh ingredients and tasty to go foods.
Smaller and less selection than there other locations
This is a good store, they've got friendly staff, a good selection of natural and organic food and a nice selection of house hold items. I love their cakes! They do tend to have long check out lines though.
Pretty much what you've come to expect from this slightly overpriced grocer of seemingly harder to find, exotic and dubiously (at least to me) healthy foods, soaps and wines you'll only pretend to have a hard time pronouncing, offered up in a very clean, organized and nearly too pleasant atmosphere by employees who far more often than not can tell you where an item is located as well as the definition of customer service.
A bit crowded but i got what i came for plus free cheese samples
I used to go here a lot, I live down the street. One time an employee harassed me for tying my dog up in front of the store, I guess some delivery truck started their engine while I was inside, I dunno. I tried to explain to him that my dog was better off tied up in front than on the side because he has some pretty bad neglect issues from before I had him but the guy stormed off... basically he was calling me a bad dog owner and I dont really go in here that much anymore because that guy is kind of a jerk.
love new seasons, although this location needs much improvement. Particularly the hot food/deli section, sandwiches are poorly constructed & 3 of 3 woks have been. brunt.
Over priced but has a big selection of items. Cashiers were a bit rude to me. No hi how's it goin' or have a nice day. Just silence. I bought a premade falafel that was so dry I choked. My pitbul even had a hard time eating it. Yes I gave it to her, lol.
BEST STORE EVER. Seriously. The people are amazing. The food is amazing.
Not the best New Seasons location but it does have a small rooftop parking lot. Even though the aisles are a bit cramped, they have a decent selection and all the basics you'd expect from New Seasons.
My local grocery store. It's a little on the pricey side, but the experience shopping there is always great.
We found the selection of local coffee we were looking for. Must try the bakery next time. Nice assortment of cheeses, too.
