this place is AMAZING. Had the best time of my life on the VIP tour. Highly recommended.
this place is AMAZING. Had the best time of my life on the VIP tour. Highly recommended.
Its very cool but we went on the tram the wait was an hour its very hot outside once one tram passed another come but all the drivers went out and took us another 30min to get in
Live the history of the space race. Very interesting.
Go to the Space Center Houston, visit the museum, and take a guided tour of the JSC --- see building 9 and the Rocket Complex. The US manned space program is controlled from from here!
Wow this place is amazing and you can see the space ships just so close
The experience that they present to you in the Space Center of NASA is memorable with different shows all day, a great amount of activities that allow you to know more thoroughly the life of the astronauts in the space. It is worth taking the trip to the NASA facilities where different projects are currently being worked on, including the trip to Mars.
This is a pretty cool science center unless you've been to Kennedy already and then you're just pretty underwhelmed. I wouldn't bother going during covid quarantine whatever. All the interactive things are closed and you don't get to tour mission control. Some of the staff are amazing, some have just memorized a script, and mismemorized a few numbers that are illogical.
Dissapointed.expected something interactive. For litte kids...the games might be cool but for adults it lacks interactivity. We really expected to receive a view in spaceflight and not only the history of spacetravel
Great experience, very educational and informative.
Lines can be a little too long sometimes.
I loved it because it is the place of my dreams where I want to work one day
I love it because it is the place of my dreams where I want to work one day
Rocket park tours are awesome! Most of the attraction near admission center is for little kids! Great full day adventure!
You need at least 4 hours to see everything and it's very interesting; but in winter it closes way too early.
good experience... one of the tourist place in Houston...
Loved going here for Spring break that year. Lots of activities for the kids. The tour of where the astronauts train was nice. It gets very crowded at the space center though.
As others have noted it's a 1 hour wait to get on a tram to ride about 200 yards to reach the Saturn 5 exhibit. It took about 20 minutes to walk around the Saturn 5 exhibit. Then we had to get back in the tram line after the Saturn 5 exhibit just to return to the space center! Total time waiting in line was 2 hours. Walking to the Saturn 5 exhibit would be much quicker than the tram. Waste of time. Get rid of the stupid tram ride please.
Well It was always my Dream to visit nasa and it came true and it was as good as a place I imagined it to be, The place is very informative, have all the amenities, lots of walking, and you learn a lot. Good place for adults as well as kids and enthusiasts.
Food is really bad in museum. And museum is pretty small, not worth of the price if tram is closed.
We witness a recreation of the historic creation of the moon landing.
This is really waste of time place. Completely unorganized tram service and entire NASA center. There is lack of even common sense to efficiently route trams. They keep you waiting for hours just to see training center through window from third floor. Line management is also mess. Random people will come and give random instructions. extremely unorganized. Doesn't feel that human has reached to moon when very basic stuff is so messy. No information on what to see. There is no information at any particular point explaining you what you will get to see after standing in line. People end up standing in lines for hours just to experience how to sit upside down. a long long long way to go to even become acceptable for given price. Staff is extremely rude including photographers.
The exhibits I had chance to see were.all good, interesting and educational. However, the logistics of the tours were inefficient and ineffective. Trams were coming and going empty. Once trams were full it still took over 10 minutes to start moving. Some of the tram drivers neglected to give explanations. Most of the day were spent on a lineup. At the gift shop we were ushered to leave through an emergency exit and we felt rushed throughout the exhibits.
Excellent, a lot to see and touch part of our history.
Good tourist location to make a point if getting to. No need to spend the whole day there. The tram tours are pretty neat and the whole museum portion can be gone through in about two hours. The audio tour was OK but can be done without. Overall a good place to go to.
It would close at 18 o'clock, so if you were spare enough, the vehicle system was almost closed at 16:30
At the 1970 Osaka World Exposition, the moon stones that had been waiting for more than 4 hours touched normally without being lined up at all
It was quite small and everyone was touching it
There was also a Martian stone ~
I love NASA I always tend to be able to go and be great there I love everything that it does and I know that I am capable of arriving there I am sorry I know I will go and enter I only need to study and be the best
Visiting site if you travel to Houston. It is far from the city. The museum, the laboratories, the capsules, the rockets, the ferries are wonderful. It takes half a day. Spectacular
This place is inspiring and fabulous .I liked. Very nice. And nasa you are the best.
There is not a lot of things to do but there's lots of history. It's a great place for space learning and to get inspired.
Quite a educational experience for the children, the 747 model outside the museum is undoubtedly cool for all the visitors.
What a great experience here at the NASA. Lot of interesting things to do and learn. You'll be amazed by all the awesome things we did 50 years ago.
Hands down --this is one of my favorite places I've been to. Always imagined myself to be astronauts and being in the place feels like a kid in a candy store. So many things to see and experience! Very sad that I couldn't get myself booked to one of their lunch with astronaut sessions.
If you are an adult who wants to peruse the exhibits at a relaxed pace, I recommend visiting at slow times, perhaps weekday mornings. The Space Center was overrun today with large groups of school age children on field trips, and it was distracting. The Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas is a good choice for those seeking a space museum with more of a museum-like atmosphere.
An encounter with the most advanced of space technology ... Highly recommended
Tener poco de paciencia para que puedas disfrutar tu tours de viaje
FL is better. This looked childish; more like Lego land.
I love NASA space Center.I like how it has a lot of airplanes. I would highly recommend it.
Loved it. Perfect birthday trip. It was overwhelming! At least I wasn't the only one who cried in Mission Control
Awesome place to visit and learn about space and space related science.
Rocket part is the best place to visit, make sure you turn up early so your not waiting too long for the trams.
The attractions I did see were great and informative. I would have liked to see more of the attractions, but...the tram lines were so long- 45 minute wait to go on the first tram leaving the main building, 45 minute wait for the second tram ride, 45 minute wait for the tram to back to the main building!
This is space center Houston!!! NASA put a man on the moon and so much more and you don't know how to schedule your trams!!
So many school buses and children and so many visitors - you KNOW how many tickets you are selling ... and the person in charge knows that more transportation will be needed. So schedule it! How hard can it be?
The most unorganized event I've ever been to. Over an hour wait to get a bus shuttle to NASA freon the parking lot that you're forced to park at and no it wasn't due to too many people that's actually how long it took for 3 buses to show up. To top it off after spending 200 on tickets we are told after we get in that most of the tours are closed for VIP ticket holders including the shuttle! Not worth going to this weekend, better off skipping this completely disorganized overpriced event.
I gave it 4 stars because it wasnt very handicap friendly otherwise i would have given 5 stars
It's always a great place to go with my kids. Had a wonderful time. We will definitely go again!!!!
Had a good time. Loved the excursions. Took a whole day
Oh my goodness I love rockets and space so much, Johnson Space Center is amazing!!!
Does not worth the time. I'd rather stay in my lab. Waited for 4 hours in line alone. No focus in the center and no enough explaination, basically just telling how great this industry is and why astronaut is the best job in the world. Jingoism. But still great spaceship. Recommand get the membership to skip the line, so that it wastes less time.
amazing place for education and fun.
And you can buy astronaut here.
As someone from the other side of the planet who reads and watches space exploration from afar, it was great to see first hand the things I've read about. I especially liked the tram tours and I thought it was worth taking both. The only problem (and it's a problem for the city and not the space center) is a lack of public transport options. As someone visiting on business for a few days I would prefer public transport or a shuttle to the hassle of renting a car.
NASA s Johnson Space Center has served as a hub of human spaceflight activity for more than half a century. It is home to the nation s astronaut corps, the International Space Station mission operations, the Orion Program, and a host of More
Amazing experience! Highly recommended! Don't forget to make the tram your and also go for the lunch with an astronaut experience if available!
Was an enjoyable trip. The tram tour is nice, but the orbiter is worth going to.
Space is,my favorite stuff but i wish i could viait this place a day it looks interesting love space moon ect...
I have learned that they handle a lot of fan mail for all those who love space travel. I have learned on YouTube how your favorite astronauts receive their food and mail. They use the launch pad to send up food and mail on a cargo ship. i hope that someday, they do offer public trips into space. Just by watching an interview or two on YouTube, it goes to show how nice these astronauts are that went up on SpaceX Demo2. I just also called my senator to find a way to take the price and tweek it a little so that more people can afford a trip up. But they are also very busy and they get thousands of letters from people like you and me. NASA, you do a grand job in training your astronauts.
Maps go is easy to use complete our end of way. But satellite mode sometimes not clear
An amazing place to visit! Feels like you become part of the space journey!
Amazing to see the history and actual space activities.
very interesting place that makes aware of the feat of space conquest, even if it obviously hides the uselessness of space conquest. You can even touch a piece of the moon! The exposed Saturn V rocket is very impressive in its size. The historic control room is a moving moment. I recommence this place, and after the visit go to Kemah on the coast to breathe the sea air!
Sweet. Last of a wonderful time in early exploration
SO much to do and see here. We got there right as they were opening and stayed until about 3pm. Its a must to make time for the tram tour. Its free with admission and takes you to different parts of Nasa that you wont see if you dont take this tour. Even my 4 year old had a blast. Tons of interactive things to do and so much amazing history! We ate lunch at their food court and was impressed at how good the lunches were. Can't wait to go back!
Nasa was great! We had a great time. The experience was awesome
It was fabulous to see the actual mission control room for many missions, including those to the moon, I had watched on TV as a child. The exhibits were informative and not over-stimulating. I particularly enjoyed learning how the space shuttle was transported and to see the plane and shuttle. The shuttle really looked small mounted on an airplane! We were here in January so there were no crowds and we were able to see everything very well without being overwhelmed by crowds. It's definitely worth the time and effort to get to if you are in the area.
Can't wait to come back and bring the kids! Fun and interesting for everyone. Excellent preservation of American history.
