Employees are unable to answer basic questions and give directions. There are little to no accommodations for the deaf. The website is extremely difficult to navigate and detailed information regarding the trams are non-existent. It is not worth the price.

Big rockets, retro feel. What is there to say about NASA other than the famous, "Houston, we have a problem..." Just kidding, but really though this is a really neat center (especially if you've never been to a space center before ) and it offers a large educational insight into one of the most innovative organizations in that past century. There are several exhibits about the missions, space crafts, and history of NASA. These exhibits include full-scale replicas/actual space crafts, information/movies/audio tours about past and current missions, and a couple of tram tours of the actual NASA facilities where you get to walk-in and tour mission control and a rocket hanger to name a few. The center is worth a visit if you can make the time and it takes about 4+ hours to completely see everything. Overall, the center is primarily geared towards children/youth but there is enough to keep everyone entertained and curious about space.

Side note: it's best to buy your ticket in advance online and print it as it's a few dollars cheaper than at the ticket booth. Plus, you get to skip the line at the ticket booth! Parking is $6.

It's worth it, it's a great place to learn more about missions in space and missions to the moon. There are many very interesting explanations. Being able to ride a shuttle shuttle is very fun and impressive! We also went to the Space Kennedy Center in Florida. They are both very good.

Without doubting some otherworldly experience, here you will know everything related to space, its ships, history, characters, training, as well as a large exhibition of objects and simulators that will make this experience something unmatched. And if that were not enough, it has its own store where you can buy all kinds of objects from a keychain to a spaceship to scale as a souvenir.

I really enjoyed our visit to the Johnson Space Center. There is quite a bit to see and do here, so you may want to plane for all day or maybe two days (if you can). On one of the tours, you get to see the actual computers used during the moon landing and how they've grown to what NASA uses today. You can watch a live feed from the International Space Station (ISS) and actually watch the employees monitor it. They teach you about the training and schooling required to work there monitoring the space station (which is a lot more than I ever imagined). They have several exhibits and museums that teach about the history of space travel and see how the Astronauts train for space travel and living on the ISS. There are lots of games for the kids to play, a souvenir shop, and several exhibits other things to see and do. The only real major complaint I have is how an organization that can put a person on the moon cannot figure out how to better handle the crowds of people. We had to spend more money for their version of the "fast pass," just so we could see both tours in one day. We packed our own lunch, got their a few minutes after it opened and left when it was dark...and we still didn't see all of it. On the bright side though, parking is quite plentiful and free to the public. Hope you enjoy your visit!

Everyone wants to experience this place in their life and definitely it s a must visit place where you can learn about plenty of things about the space shuttle s.
They also have the real sample of stones they collected from few planets.
People who have kids must visit with them, you have to park your car at one place and then take their red line and blue line free shuttles

I took a very good friend there the day after I moved to Houston. As I had been a childhood dream to work at Mission Control, and because visiting the Johnson Space Center was on my friend's bucket list, this was the perfect opportunity for my friend and me to geek out and feel like we were two excited little kids in the presence of something awesome! The tram ride to Mission Control was the absolute icing on the cake for the both of us!

This is only a place for people who are OBSESSED with space. There's no fun in coming here. If you have went to kennedy space center, there's no point in coming here. The documentaries used in the theatres are the same and the interiors look the same as well. The motion simulators are a rip-off and cost an extra $5 per person. Please do not waste your money on this palce.

I was very disappointed with my visit at the Johnson Space Center Museum. We arrived at the opening time and immediately went for the tram tour (as many people on this website and the NASA website recommended). We we got there, we had to wait in line for an hour. The crew was very disorganized and would send out trams (one per fifteen minutes) with empty seats on them. The waiting area was nice, although cramped. When we did get on the tour, we had a nice time seeing Mission Control and the Astronaut Training Facility. However, when we got off at Rocket Park, we had to wait another thirty minutes to get back onto the tram. By the time we got back to the museum, we had to run through the rest of the exhibits due to how much time we spent there.

The building is nice, but very unorganized. The staff is friendly, but very frantic. Overall, I would not recommend paying $30 per person to come here. You would be better off spending it somewhere else, or investing in SpaceX.

The place was big! I followed the advice of reviewers here to go early like when they open and we did the tram tour right away since it wouldnt be that hot yet instead of our timed ticket which was 1:30pm which would probably be a 100degree day. Anyways we had a lot of fun there :)

Spent a day like a tourist at the NASA Space center and had a enjoyable day. Lots of interactive activity for children. Great place to grow the imagination of a curious mind. The center also has a place to eat inside so no need to leave if you get hungry.

I definitely plan to go back periodically to see things that are brought back from space.

This is the second time I ve been to the Houston/ Johnson Space Center and what a difference. Today we waited in line for a team for 1.5 hrs with several trams sitting idle and tour guides and drivers no where to be found and in no hurry at all. Experience has been simply ridiculous. We came super excited to share the experience with our friends and have been soooo disappointed. So far the experience could not have been worse.

So disappointed, I would give them a zero. It was 24.99 to get in and most of it was closed by 5 pm , workers were rude in the ride to the tran tour and did not let us in . At the door we were told They closed at 7 . everything is old and not updated . We came to Houston to visit family and honestly it's not worth spending our money here.

For all of the Engineering horsepower in these grounds, they need to deploy a team to improve logistics. You spend most of your time waiting in line and an hour waiting for the tram. It ruins the experience. Either quadruple the number of trams or build a monorail system to quickly haul people from place to place. There are many interesting things to see, but for every hour you spend enjoying and learning, you spend 3 hours waiting in line and on trams. Utterly ridiculous.

Really a great day to experience. For anyone who is a little interested in space a must while you're there. From Spaceshuttle to Saturn V, you can see everything. Also the training equipment of the astronauts are shown up close. I myself was there twice and would always go back when I'm around.

NASA is place to visit if space and human quest to know beyond what he sees amaze you. It's all about the huge rockets, about space suits, about the astronauts and how far has human race come forward and pushed his limits to know more and more. They provide you with tickets at the entrance and then there are bus which are free of cost. You will board one such bus which will go around the places u need to see. On the way the person will be explaining everything in detail. I saw the Texan long horn cows, my countrymen who served NASA like Kalpana chawla and others in the lost. The tour is well organised. It is a must go place in Texas.

Spent a lot of time in line for one tram to then wait in line to transfer to another tram, to then drive around the campus and see the outside of a bunch of buildings. Finally got to see a mock up of mission control, which was okay even though not the current control room. And, It was pretty cool seeing the Saturn up close; otherwise not worth the $30 cost of admission. Way too much time wasted in line and getting carted around

NASA is an awesome experience for tourists. If you love space or are even interested in learning some new information, NASA is the place to visit. Their exhibits are fun, interactive, and educational. They offer a tram ride to the old mission control, which is a super neat experience, about the history of NASA and space exploration. Also, for just a little extra money you can meet, and take pictures with, an astronaut that has been into space. I would highly recommend this because it was so neat and highly informative, but entertaining too..:)
The astronaut answered questions and talked about the future of NASA. Overall, NASA is a must do experience, if you are in Houston area or traveling through:)

Nice museum with the collection of objects related to space missions, the food is expensive and bad, it is better to go to lunch and take advantage of the time, take the train to see the rockets and buy in the souvenir shop

This was a bucket-list item for me. And I guess, in the end, I am really glad I went.
But the queuing system and general management of the tram tour left a LOT to be desired. Be prepared to wait at least 2 - 4 hours in line... it was very frustrating... took longer to queue than to do the tour.

Coming from France, I was really excited to visit the Nasa center, but I didn't learn anything, the place is more for children, it is no museum. It's definitely not worth the price, and inside you have to pay for many things, everything is made so that you spend money... Another shocking thing, when you come back from the tram tour they stop 15min at a place where there is only grass and an automatic distributor, and tell us to have a drink. It's only a 5min drive with the tram, thank you Nasa for letting us have a break after 2.5minutes. Anyway, avoid this place. I don't understand why it's so famous...

Enjoyed our first visit here--came for the 50th anniversary celebration of the moon landing. Fascinating to see so many artifacts from the space program up close. Many ways to engage with the history, with a wide range of interactive exhibits. Well worth a visit.
