Easily the worst steam ship line in the world with the worst customer service.

I use MSC for my LCL EXPORT CONSOL business. Schedules always available, Hazardous IMO's are approved in a reasonable amount of time. Documentation is good. Customer service is pretty good! Was able to grant me a late gate at Long beach terminal for Hazardous container. So far, so good. No discrepancies. Sara & Andrew from NYC are amazing!

very very very slow. Container should have arrived in 12 days.. now over 50 days still no container!!

This is by far the WORST customer service on a shipping company I've ever had to deal with...OMG! it's stressful and frustrating.

they used to be the best when their customer service was in NY now they moved to South Carolina and they are all working in slow motion.

I have never had anything bad to say about MSC until now. I sent an email at 9AM asking for detention charges on a reefer container. They NEVER answered me. Then I had no choice but to request detention through Monday 6/1 and they answered an hour later. I had to then tell them to include the detention charges through today since I did not receive an answer and they "FORGOT" to include them. Then I find out that the NY office was closed. Why wasn't I informed as an importer who uses MSC weekly?! I honestly think they do certain things on purpose, and for them to admit any fault is like putting teeth.
I have always had a good experience with MSC until now and saying I am disappointed is an understatement!

They have the worst customer service and professionalism! I do not really understand how come they have license to have business in our country. They shut down their NY office BUT did not notice us not to send the original docs there. Then they lost the original BOL and asked us to overnight the second copy to Boston. In meanwhile, they did not release the container even though we have emailed the BOL. They use all the free days to pick up the container and refused to extend pick up for a day.
They refused to accept their fault, exchanged 37 emails in 3 days. It is not possible for them to understand that it is hard to organize unloading a container during Covid-19. It costs us an another 300 dollars to pick up and hold the container until we organize the help again.
Do not choose them to move your goods and waste time.

I really Hated it.. this compagny is an internationale compagny based on swiss ..they are not professional...dont send any container or a car with them because you will be waiting for a long time at least 3 mouth from the time they gave you...i send a container with them and they told me it will be there in one month and now i was waiting over 3 month and the container still in an other destination...I offer to go there and take my container back but they ask me to pay 1000 euro...its the biggest mistake to send anything with this low class people...they even refuse to talk to you over the phone..i will expose them all over the world.
