Neptune Hotels and Resorts Review

The Neptune facility is huge and offers variety in all areas. The sports offer is very large and the gym a real eye-catcher. Top! Many large and small pools - some adult only. Great sandy beach with enough space and beach chairs. We had a renovated room, which we found a bit too small. It reminded us a lot of a cruise ship room, but it was very modern! The food offer is very varied and on absolute top level! The narrow tables and the loud noise level at the breakfast we did not like. Nevertheless, we can recommend the hotel unreservedly. The criticisms are whining at the highest level. We would book the hotel again!

Great place, nice staff and a lot of fun. It is a very big facility.
It is a pity that the food at the buffet was often cold, which is also difficult with so many people.

A wonderful hotel with probably the best beach on the island

Very good facility, the staff is extremely friendly. The complex is very spacious and extremely well maintained. The food is also very good and varied. We are at the Neptun hotel for the third time and are extremely satisfied.

We were a week in the beautiful area. We had a very nice double room with sea view. We liked pretty much everything but especially worth mentioning is the incredible friendliness of the staff. Nowhere have we been allowed to experience friendlier employees. We will be back.

We have been to the Neptun for the 8th time, the staff was very friendly and as always we had a great arrival and could just jump into the pool. The bar and the food were above average, I am fascinated as always. In the evening I can definitely recommend a walk on the beach or a not too long trip to the disco from the hotel.
We look forward to the next time

The rooms are very nicely decorated. Also very nice is the large hotel area. The beach is great for walking.

One of the best hotels on the island. Fortunately not an all-inclusive hotel, so the offered quality of the drinks and the food is better and the other guests behave. We had nothing to complain about and really recovered.

Very courteous and friendly staff. Beach area is also well-kept and within walking distance. The food is good and of high quality, but a bit monotonous after a week. Drinks always have to be paid for (even at dinner) and are a bit expensive. The car rental in the lobby leaves a lot to be desired, old cars at completely inflated prices, incompetent service.
Unfortunately, the sauna also costs extra!
Fitness and spa areas are very nice and well-kept. Spa staff very nice, competent and relaxed. Treatment was great!
All in all highly recommended!

Very clean tidy and friendly place. I cant recall anything that didnt work or could of been done better. Lots of nice pools a lovely beach, lots of fine restaurants and bars. The buffet was awesome; anything you could think about was there!

Extra beds are a disaster. At hip height metal frame. Mattress only 10 cm thick.

The Neptune Hotel is a recommended hotel. I am here for the third time. Very nice and helpful staff. Half board is offered for boarding. The drinks prices are however overpriced. Beautiful long gently sloping sandy beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are included for hotel guests. It is a very family friendly hotel with adult retreats.

In a nutshell: We were there again in August 2019 and we will be back next year. The location of the hotel, the beaches, the sea, the pools and everything around: great!

I can understand why it is unfortunate when some hotel guests reserve loungers by the pool or on the beach in the morning and then stop by briefly in the afternoon during the day. That's not fair to the other guests. However, I find it inappropriate to stop the time in the morning for everyone who leaves the berth and has not come back after 30 minutes in order to then vacate the place.

I would particularly like to recommend the Sharky swimming school, which takes care of beginners and advanced divers in a very nice and competent manner.

Otherwise everything was first class again - it was really great in the beach restaurants and in the taverna.

I still find the espresso for 3.50 too expensive. No problem, next time we'll take a small Nespresso machine with us (two adults, four espressos a day, 14 days).

In 2018, TUI offered so-called early check-in in the hotel - this no longer existed in 2019.

Yes, all the reviews here are true - it's an amazing hotel.

You feel welcome from the beginning. The whole staff are pros in their fields and know how to make you feel comfortable. It's not fake, it's real - just great.

Rooms are super - all of them. The locations don't matter too much, as the whole property is huge. Very good for kids of all age. Heaps of things to do (pools, playground, beach).

Everything is impeccably clean and taken care of. We had a flight late at night and for only 50 you can stay until 18:00. The beach is nice, has enough space and good sand.

You can't go wrong here.

Beautiful garden, great location, friendly service, good and extensive infrastructure. Unfortunately, the food is poor 3 * monotony dishes and poor kitchen spoil the effect. Rooms in the standard version are like good 3 * or poor 4 *. As far as affection with the child is concerned, the place is good (child 20 months)

Very large, well-kept complex with many options for dining, several pools and bars and a private stretch of beach. The hotel staff has always been very friendly and was always available when needed.
We traveled as a couple, but it is also suitable for families with (small and large) children, as there are also some entertainment options for children.
Because the area is so spacious and there are a few pools, you don't notice how big the hotel is and how many people are vacationing here. Only for breakfast (and probably also for dinner) is it advisable to go earlier, otherwise it will be quite crowded. Due to Corona, the breakfast is served in the form of a buffet with plexiglass panels, behind which the staff serves the food.
The staff wears masks everywhere, there is no mask requirement for vacationers.
Housekeeping also does its job well, but problems with ants can easily arise in the lower rooms.
We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms that have been refurbished and it was definitely worth the extra charge.
The facility also has a few small shops, including a mini market and its own gelateria.
There is a bus stop 10 minutes away on foot, with which you can easily reach Kos town. There isn't much around the hotel other than a water park and a few small tourist shops. We recommend the "TamTam" beach bar, which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes via the beach.
We booked a rental car through the hotel, which was very straightforward.

Who would like to holiday with family without complaints :-)

A holiday that immediately leads to relaxation. We are very excited about the service, the extensive grounds, the many pools, the great beach, the great beach service from Vladimir and the great room we received. Everything perfect !!!!

The service is very good, pretty much every staff speaks several languages well. The complex itself is very large, with many leisure facilities, pools, restaurants and bars. But what is negative to emphasize is the room. Unfortunately this is not enough for a 5-star hotel. It would in my opinion the rating of a good 3 star hotel. The rooms have a very outdated electronics, with the lights on and off now and then. Especially at night that is extremely annoying. The sockets are located next to the bed, but unfortunately they are already occupied with lamps, but overall there are sufficient sockets available. The food is also delicious, always fresh and served with a smile. The prices are high, but not too expensive. Overall, it is still worth the 5-hotel stars.

Exellent managed hotel facility. The room rate is justified. Prices in the hotel are medium high. The bathing possibilities incredibly diverse. Extremely family friendly. Extra buffet only for children! Here I recovered as well as no longer. I recommend SPA.

Incredible resort!
Eventhough I stayed here a little while ago, I still think back to that holiday and always compare other resorts to this one. Sadly for me, all the other ones lose this competition.
The employees were always friendly and relaxed, the rooms and the whole resort were perfectly clean and well looked after, the beach was phenomenal, the rooms were pretty, there is a huge variety of pools and bars and last but definitely not least: the food was the best hotel-food I ve ever eaten. There is everything you can imagine and more. You will surely gain weight.
Literally nothing bad to say. I will certainly come back again!

Recreation pure - sea - sports - or what ever you like!

This is going to be a long story as the place deserves one. The resort is basically a little village on the coast. Everything you need is there supermarket, hairdresser, clothes shop. There are a great many of activities to be done from badminton to golf or tennis or football and basketball court. There are a great number of pools (including Olympic sized) and special kids pool that doubles as a playground. A number of restaurants to choose from and if you opted for half board there is a breakfast and dinner buffet. Breakfast buffet is very good with great selection of breads and what ever else you fancy. Dinner I would rate a little less and you need to be selective a bit more (a chef makes a pasta dish for you on top left of buffet). There is in my eye over side to put the smoking outside section in between the buffet and the none smoking section. Bit strange to let the non smokers walk through the smoke of the smokers.
The rooms are in little apartment blocks or main building and nicely decorated, have a fridge and terrace. TV is a 24 inch flat screen. You are clearly not coming here to watch TV!
Overall I think this place is high quality in every way, the staff, the buildings, gardens and activities offered. If you looking to relax in the sun or be a bit more active you will not be disappointed.

Very nice hotel! Is not for nothing 5 stars! The cleaning lady came a little late. The food was very good. There are plenty of pools. I can only recommend!

Every year .... we are in Neptune for at least a week. Always a wonderful stay. Very well maintained facility, every year you discover something new, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, speaks German. For the rooms I can only recommend the newly renovated, just to feel good. Although the area is very large, everything is distributed very well, at peak times (morning and evening) it can come in the main restaurant to wait. We are lucky to always be able to travel in the low season, so it is usually very relaxed. Even if you have booked half board, you should definitely visit the other restaurants, the complex offers - even if they are not included in the half board - the Greek restaurant is highly recommended. In general, we also like that no aggressive animation takes place and things are generally calmer. For us (in the mid 40s) just the thing, who looks for action and loud party every night, finds that rather less. For the budget-conscious bargain hunters rather no, for the pleasure man who appreciates quality, just right. Yes, a lot of costs extra, but I think that's absolutely fine, as it underlines the upscale style of the house and it's just not a mass-inclusive house. We are looking forward to next year.

Great hotel. It will live up to its 5 stars more. Very child friendly. Only downside, these drinks prices. But outside there are great ways to spend your evenings. And that at a savings of 50%. That is really only the only small criticism. We look forward to the next time.
