Great place upstairs for cocktails out just a cold beer. Awesome robot arm that helps the bartenders prepare your drink. Bartenders are internationally oriented and skilled in preparing their signature drinks. Overall a very stylish and beautiful cocktailbar with a great atmosphere!

Nice location and attractive interior. The main course was good, but less surprising than starter and dessert. Friendly and attentive staff. Little more European wines on the menu in the restaurant

In the middle of the nicest city in the North you will find the world concept Mr Mofongo with a fantastic rooftop wine bar. Huge selection of wines! Especially as an aperitif try their Sauvignon blanc from Marlborough.

Very cozy cocktail bar, takes well before you have them, but do not drink too much. Lighting above the table can be a little better (5Watt light?), We needed the lighting of the phone to read the cocktail.

Cozy room with excellent drinks and friendly staff. Sometimes with matching music, ie where you can still communicate reasonably well with each other, but often the hard blistering numbers make a bit of conversation impossible. It aims to be a place for consumption and chatting, but at times it unfortunately looks more like a dancing. Oh yes, the brownie with the coffee is always tasty, but be more Spanish and deliver a bowl of nibbles with the drinks.

Super nice tent. On the 1st floor you have the cocktail bar with delicious cocktails!
The robot arm is not put to work with every drink, but if you ask for it, they will be happy to put it in your liquor / alcohol for you.
Cocktails are delicious! You can also get small snacks (shared dining) in the cocktail bar. Not had, but also looked very good!
Make a reservation or arrive on time!

There are no words in my dictionary to describe this place to the fullest and hence I'm going to explain every bit of my experience along with pictures. We started with a tour of the place, which I would have never expected to see based on what the place looked like from the outside. There were such minute details that you've either heard of or seen in pictures that actually exist here. Right from the world war period newspaper on the wall to the ancient wine racks and Barrels and a fusion of these antiques with technology like the rotating wine glass rack to the arm that automatically serves 2 glasses of wine. The place even crafts it's own Gin, whisky, and other types of alcohol and soon Beer. Loved the mini distillery that dropped down from the roof to a particular table which I definitely want to try the next time I'm there. Not going to say more and ruin it for you who are reading, you need to visit to believe. The steak was amazing and everything else we ate. Would like to appreciate Nick who gave us an awesome tour, and he is definitely the man for the job. Highly recommended this place and I will visit again.

At Mr. Mofongo I recently ate a delicious satay. The portion was larger than average in my opinion for the price range Mr. Mofongo uses compared to other restaurants. The satay meat was wonderfully tender, the satay sauce was seasoned with Asian spices and the dish also served with atjar, cassava and lime rice. The lime rice was different than I imagined, in my opinion this was normal rice with a wedge of lime. Despite that, I still give 5 stars. The food was served quickly in my opinion and the service is very friendly. In addition to satay, a portion of spareribs was also ordered at my table, these were also very popular. If you are looking for a middle class restaurant with a casual and cozy atmosphere then Mr. Mofongo definitely recommended.

When you visit Mr. If you want to eat Mofongo, it is useful to book in advance if you want to be assured of a spot.

Great interior and if you think you've seen everything, you'll discover a new space. Capuccino is as it should be and is served nice and playful without a saucer and with a wooden stirring stick. And a nice sweetness of course.

Many Asian dishes on the lunch menu (11:00 am - 4:00 pm), Italian coffees, fresh ginger tea and more cocktails than wines

Mofongo has its own in-house distillery that supplies various liqueurs but also blended beverages. You just have to taste it ...

Entrance is wheelchair friendly. Toilets are clean and tidy.

Nice location, right in the center. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and a bar on the upper floors. The ambience is very well done.

We had dinner here and were very satisfied. The map is manageable. In addition to steak and noodles, there are above all dishes that are clearly inspired by the Asian cuisine. Reasonably priced, but very fair for the quality of the food.

The cocktails are also highly recommended.

The staff is nice and relaxed. Even when it is full. At peak times is worth a reservation if you want to eat here. We were lucky that we had a table for two after a short wait at the bar. It is well attended in the evening.

Well eaten, the primitivo by the glass was also tasty. Steak was perfect medium and tender; if the meat came from animal-friendly animal husbandry, it would taste even better to me (why isn't that everywhere?). And if something less often was asked if "everything is satisfactory", everything would be more satisfactory.

The service was fast (even though it was sunny and we were outside), but the food was not fantastic (too much sauce, canned tuna, lots of 'stuffing' in the salad). The beer menu is not very extensive but it is good and diverse. I would give 3.5 stars if possible.

Mr. Mofongo is a very cozy restaurant where you can eat and drink something delicious. The cocktails are highly recommended and the spare ribs are also very good! So you can go here for a tasty bite to eat as well as for a nice drink!

Hummus had a predominant taste of cumin and wet served with a bowl of dried out and not fresh pieces of vegetables. When it was put on the table we were not warned that the plate came straight out of the over and was hot. The beef salad was fine, it tasted fresh and only lacked a pinch of salt.

Service asked what we wanted to order, I mentioned everything and he replied "oh sorry, I wasn't listening" ... the apple pie was very cold and not fresh, the brownies mainly sugar and not fresh and the cappucino a little too milky. The location and decoration of the building is great by the way, but that's it. Mr. Nofongo.

Great ambience spread over 3 floors. Ground floor with meals. First and second floor with bars. Very amusing and friendly service. Extensive wine and gin and tonic card. Delicious and strong cocktails. All in all, super.

Atmosphere is nice, choice of draught beer limited but interesting (only blond). The menu is short, so make sure to look at it before entering to make sure you will find what you expect.
If you are unlucky and your order comes after a big group, you might have to wait a very long time for it (we waited ~1 hour). While serving a big group at once is nice, balancing with other customers is also something to keep in mind.
Staff was nice, trying their best.
Ribs are too sweet for my taste, but other might like it this way.

First of all, Mr. Mofongo is an excellent place for a nice drink. Only a few places later does this establishment come into play as a restaurant. Ten more steps back it turns out that Mr. Mogongo is not very suitable for groups of no less than 10+ guests.
First of all, it must be said that the ministry only gets compliments. The service is therefore very suspicious of a bubbling group and ensures that guests have no shortage.
The setbacks therefore only start when the menu is distributed. There is an adapted card for such a group. For the 10+ guests, the laminated menu has been stripped down considerably. A Satay then.
Although the sauce has an excellent taste, the first bites of the chicken are promising, and the eye also gets to see a bit in terms of presentation, the chicken thigh on a stick is very disappointing after two bites. Barely cooked, here and there still pink with lukewarm temperatures.
In a group you will of course not grumble when the Spareribs on the left and right are deliciously eaten, but when the satay on the right and left remains and is even distributed among all those present.
On to dessert. No less than 2 (!) Choices on the menu for our group of just over 10 people. Or three? There appear to be 2 different menu cards spread over the table. The waiter is decisive. The choice is limited to 2. A Limoncello and a chocolate something.
Due to a lack of choice, several of the table companions opted for a coffee, some of them chose the Limoncello with complete satisfaction, another, regrettably, opted for the chocolate thing.

All in all;
Very suitable for a drink.
Not suitable for a group with dinner
Suitable for good spare ribs
Not suitable for good satay
Not suitable for dessert lovers

The compliments for the service remain. The quality of the kitchen varies greatly and does not appeal to everyone. Groups seem to be especially difficult to find.

Lovely ambience inside and out, and courteous staff. Lunch, however, is a let down. Canned tuna belongs in the home, not on focaccia at a restaurant! Mixed with balsamic vinegar and beef, which to my mind is a strange combination, and it didn't exactly work. Asian influences are fine, but should be kept in check. Bread itself was lovely. Good drinks selection. Needs tightening up, especially regarding price quality and selection.
