Super cool place, a cocktail + a wine robot, the revolving distillery garden + the great interior make this one of the most beautiful cafes I have ever seen

Service a bit on the slow side but all of the food was very good.

The ideal place to enjoy cocktails with home-made drinks. A robot arm pours the drinks. The food is not too expensive and tasty.

Nicely decorated cafe and restaurant. We were here with more than 20 colleagues as the Edam-Volendam department of the Koninklijke Horeca Nederland.
Very impressed by the beautiful interior. The robot arm, which poured drinks and cocktails flawlessly, caught our attention.
The food was very good, as were the wines that were poured.
This visit was a nice conclusion to our visit to the catering city of Groningen!

We went to eat here with a group of ten people. The food was very good and everything was served at the same time. The staff was friendly which meant that we had an enjoyable evening.

Nice restaurant with a robot in one area that mixes drinks from wall mounted bottles. Attic has robot that brings a bottle of wine which you can see under a glass floor. Decent food and good service

I was disappointed with this place. It's good for drinks but the service and the food were bad. I ordered one of the specials -moussaka - thinking that I would be able to have my meal in a reasonable amount of time. I waited almost 50 minutes before I went up to one of the waitresses behind the bar to ask for my food. When it finally arrive about 10 minutes later it was burnt!

Awesome ribs and really good flat iron steak. Great service and ambiance.

Very good food. But waitingtime was way too long (about 1 hour for the food), because of a big group they had to serve. Excuses are nice, but a coffee for free would have done more to comfort us.

Nice restaurant with very nice decoration. Extensive map with enough choice. The dishes were also good in taste and served in a nice way. One small flaw. The carpaccio were slices of roast beef, so not the thinness you expect with carpaccio. This restaurant will definitely remain on the list for a follow-up visit.

Great food, upstairs a cozy cocktail bar and another floor up a wine bar. Top in 1 word!

Good lunch, tasty dishes, beautifully laid out and served quickly. All this in a beautiful environment where real attention has been paid.

Very interesting bar on the first floor with a wall of liquors dispensed by a mechanic arm. Unfortunately the food there is quite disappointing.

Very nice and busy place (book if you want to be sure!). You can go for everything. I really liked it on the ground floor for the delicious cherry monchou cake and the best nachos that really are a household name. Also last eaten on the first floor with a group of 8 people which was certainly a success (good and nice service and fries was complemented for free even without asking). They have also turned the upper floors into a cocktail bar with some louder music and above that a wine bar with a more relaxed atmosphere. Above you can also order the nachos along with other snacks. They have their own liquor distillery and they serve wine and cocktails through robotic arms. I think the wine bar is beautifully decorated with lots of greenery and a lot of wood (they use wooden workbenches as a table that you know from the past with manual labor). In short.

Later again and ordered steak which I was disappointed. Was tender but no tasty structure or something, as if something had been done with it. Did not want to eat him completely.

Ps. I had accidentally ordered a red wine sauvignon instead of a white one, but because it went a bit slower because it was so busy I still got the white and left the red one. Nice thing!

Ps. The Dog's Bullock that is opposite is from the same owner and there they have the somewhat cooler counterpart where you can go for special beer and burgers.

On the more expensive side but an original bar. Impressive robot arm that selects and collects the alcohol quantities. Each floor has its own function; 1st floor: restaurant, 2nd floor: cocktail bar, 3rd floor: wine and beer. Something for everyone.

Terrible experience.
I go to the Mofongo quite often for the delicious cooking, and have never had a problem there.

Unfortunately, it was completely different tonight. I went to the cocktail bar with my girlfriend, it took a lot before someone came to ask what we wanted to drink. We ordered, and after 20 minutes nobody came at all; so we decided to leave. What I found particularly annoying is that the bartenders spent time chatting and drinking shots instead of serving us.

A shame for a place that I always liked, and I have often suggested to others.

very busy but good service and very tasty cocktails. by the crowds we were not first on the first floor up but thanks to a friendly waiter, we were able to reserve a table. After half an hour to sit down with a drink, we could just sit back and enjoy a few cocktails.

Very special catering facility where you can dine in 2 different ways. Downstairs you can order in a traditional way, upstairs you will find a true tapas bar. The decoration is very warm and eye-catchers like an elevator vegetable garden and a robot that fetches the homemade alcoholic refreshments make it a special experience.

Good atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, friendly service and good food! Top spot

Actually, I never leave a review, but a team that does its best for you deserves great compliments.

We had the pleasure to experience the Chef's table with Chef Bendji and hostess Margriet.

Critical as we are, we had high expectations and we were therefore surprised that a number of Groningers we spoke to during the day found the food at this restaurant "tasty, but not very special".

Little did we know that they ate "a la carte" and that is in no way comparable to the quality we were offered.

Bendji cooks at star level and Margriet's knowledge of the matching wines, dedication and warm personality makes you prefer to give her a big hug at the end of the evening. What a hunk!
The presentation of the dishes and the experience that this concept offers makes this a real hidden gem in the high north for which we like to travel for a few hours!

Five star place for when you're looking for a chilly place for tasty lunch and / or a nice drink. A lot of variety in beer, cocktails and drinks such as nachos, flamkuchen and fries with pulled beef!

Had dinner with 12 people, everything controlled from the operator and a simple but good menu, be sure to try the gin tonic of mofongo superr cool!

Delicious lunch and dinner dishes, honest products, friendly service

This is a very nice terrace at a nice restaurant. At the brother square right next to the academy building of the university of Groningen. A delicious homemade brownie is served with the double espresso. The bar is known for its extensive and delicious cocktail menu. Also good food. Walk to the second or third floor!

Quality and good atmosphere and entourage. Beautiful location. An asset to our city. Owner must keep attention and control on the often too little amount of wine in the wine glass. Too emphatically too moderate. And this is incomprehensible and unnecessary !! Unfortunately.

Superb cocktails! Therefore often too crowded, which is a pity.

Upstairs they have their own distillery. Really worth a look!
