I knocked on the door and asked if Ivan Cankar was home. Nobody answered, they just all stared at me.

I listened to a wonderful Christmas concert by the Cantabile Symphony Orchestra and guests, led by conductor, Marjan Grdadolnik of Logatec.

I had opportunity to enjoy in amazing concerts of famous musicians! Really good and aqustic hall!

Splendid theater, very particular and articulated, with excellent acoustics and visibility in every place. I have seen operas, ballets and concerts. Incidentally, all shows of the highest level.

From outside isn't really good looking, but inside is nice, qnd there's a lot of space

It is reminiscent of the socialist Yugoslavia from the outside, but inside it is a unique architecture with several halls. The acoustics are outstanding, the events are very demanding and of high quality. It was a beautiful evening in the big hall.

I visited during book fair, which was a bit crowded, but well executed, even if it wasn't as large as one would expect.

Unique architecture and top events. Nice connection with the underground passage with the shop and the shops. It also connects with the Maxi shopping center.

Cultural Center 5 minutes of walking from center of Ljubljana - there you can visit concerts of classical or other kinds of mucis, theater performances or various exhibitions for example fine arts exhibitions. Prices are from 10 to 25 in average. Some of them are also for free. On the top there is a small restaurat with delicious food and view of the city. The price of a meal (soup, main dish and salad) is around 5 + extra for drink, dessert etc.

Like a lot this complex. Croatian Lisinski Hall can learn a lot from their colegues in Ljubljana. Like to visit Cankarjev Dom, especially Gallus hall and enjoy classical concerts.
