First of all, Mr. Mofongo is an excellent place for a nice drink. Only a few places later does this establishment come into play as a restaurant. Ten more steps back it turns out that Mr. Mogongo is not very suitable for groups of no less than 10+ guests.
First of all, it must be said that the ministry only gets compliments. The service is therefore very suspicious of a bubbling group and ensures that guests have no shortage.
The setbacks therefore only start when the menu is distributed. There is an adapted card for such a group. For the 10+ guests, the laminated menu has been stripped down considerably. A Satay then.
Although the sauce has an excellent taste, the first bites of the chicken are promising, and the eye also gets to see a bit in terms of presentation, the chicken thigh on a stick is very disappointing after two bites. Barely cooked, here and there still pink with lukewarm temperatures.
In a group you will of course not grumble when the Spareribs on the left and right are deliciously eaten, but when the satay on the right and left remains and is even distributed among all those present.
On to dessert. No less than 2 (!) Choices on the menu for our group of just over 10 people. Or three? There appear to be 2 different menu cards spread over the table. The waiter is decisive. The choice is limited to 2. A Limoncello and a chocolate something.
Due to a lack of choice, several of the table companions opted for a coffee, some of them chose the Limoncello with complete satisfaction, another, regrettably, opted for the chocolate thing.

All in all;
Very suitable for a drink.
Not suitable for a group with dinner
Suitable for good spare ribs
Not suitable for good satay
Not suitable for dessert lovers

The compliments for the service remain. The quality of the kitchen varies greatly and does not appeal to everyone. Groups seem to be especially difficult to find.
