Food was great! Was in a short wait for two with no reservations to sit at the bar. Pizza was top notch in my book. Reservation probably a must for larger groups, and help guarantee a table. Love traveling and trying new places like this one.

let me start with the best: the butterscotch budino dessert is one of the top picks in town - truly something to die for. also, the wine collection is extensive, ranging from bottles to glasses, without being too pricey. other than that, the place has a great vibe with high ceilings, semi-loud music, and very loud chatter. however this is not my favorite style of pizza.

A place where pizza is the protagonist !!! Of sourdough and baked as it should be !!! Widely recommended if you are in Los Angeles stop by and enjoy these wonders. It is attached to Osteria Mozza, so keep one day for each of them. They are places that are really worth knowing if you like good food! Enjoy it !!!

I had the most ridiculous table for "2", more like 1.5, for a reservation that had to be made almost a month in advance, which should have guaranteed a decent table. Too bad I can't upload the pic here to show you all!

The restaurant turned out to be a BIG Disappointment all around to say the least! ~
Service snooty as hell for no reason, manager non-existent and careless, food overrated and just plain...my pizza was drowning in oil, table uncomfortable as I kept hitting the wall (asked the hostess for another and she said: 'there's nothing wrong with that table and we're booked'), loud and warm, bathrooms dirty and smelly. AND not to mention OVERPRICE! I'm don't recommend this place to anyone, specially if you like pizza, you won't like this place too hoity-toity!

Pizzeria Mozza feels like the type of place I should like...but I'm not sure why. The service was great, and the host was more than accommodating to help our party of 4 get seated together at the bar. I was disappointed they were out of the bone marrow and instead tried the steamed mussels - they were good but nothing unique about them. The pizza we got (sausage ham and bacon) seemed a bit dry and lacking some sauce to balance the saltiness of the meats. Overall, the food was fine but I wasn't blown away.

Extra crowded for lunch!! I got there 10 minutes early and got seated. They put us at a table with another couple which was odd. I was there to catch up with a friend and it was odd being so close to our neighbors.

The food was great, but not life changing. We shared pad Thai & lamb curry. I thought $8 for iced coffee was a lot, until they brought out a little carafe of it. That was fabulous.

Woah. Just woah. I was with a table of six and we all ordered different pizzas and tried each other's. Everyone's eyes rolled into the back of their heads as we tried each pie. Outstanding. The wine was also equally to die for. That's not enough? Ray Romano walked in and was having these private birthday in the back Room. Run don't walk.

Three words: GET. THE. BREAD.

Three words: GET. THE. BREAD.
It's my favorite bread on the western seaboard. Comes grilled and slathered in fresh olive oil, slightly salted. If I could pick a food to get fat off of, it'd probably be this. Followed by their lasagna that they only do on weekends. Mozza, if you're listening, please, please please make that puppy a menu mainstay. She saves lives. In conclusion, in case you haven't gathered this from my review, you should go here.

Very good pizzas a bit overpriced. The glasses of wine are WAY too expensive the cheapes was 15 bucks. 2 pizzas 2 vinos was $85.00 so it's not your on a budget place. It was really noisy and the music too loud you practically had to screen to have a conversation

Pizzeria Mozza is a great pizza for your deep dish aficionados. They also have delivery via caviar which is cool if you live/work in the city. I had not had it for awhile but remembered it was quite good and I ordered it once again. I had the Pizzeria Mozza which is " spinach blended with ricotta and feta, mushrooms, onions and garlic" and it was delicious , especially with the signature crust.

This is a great spot for a low key meal with friends. Great crispy pizza with high quality ingredients. I shared amazing meatballs with buttery, garlicky grilled toast, delicious tricolore salad with parmesan, and a pizza with prosciutto, mozz and heirloom tomatoes. Everything we ate was exceptional, and service at bar was friendly and efficient. There are two bars, one at wine bar (nice Italian selection) and the other overlooking the kitchen area, so lots of options for eating at bar. Restaurant was perfectly packed and high ceilings keep the noise down.

Never disappointed with the food here. Service was excellent and the food came out quick despite it being full. The meatballs, pizza, and wings were absurdly delicious. If I could, I would eat here everyday.

I came here after watching Chef's table and I was not disappointed. The food was spectacular and every single aspect of the meal was perfect. The food felt like a combination of comfort food and world class cuisine. The pizza was delicious, the squash blossoms were amazing, and the meatballs were perfect. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town.

Great casual restaurant where you get high class service and quality food made with the freshest ingredients. You must try Nancy s Salad and any of the pizzas as they are all amazing. The dessert was also amazing... the portions are amazing and well worth the price. This is definitely a restaurant where you get the right bang for you buck.

I have searched for the top pizza places in LA and I have found two, and either of them were number 1 in their own perspective, because they both have different things to offer.

This one, is one of them.

I started off ordering dessert, a gelato and also a strawberry cake. Their presentations here are fabulous, offering a good amount of food while at the same time offering picture worthy desserts. After the desserts, I decided to order two pizzas, a traditional margarita with their organic selection and also a pizza that had potatoes and an egg on it. The margarita pizza tasted exceptional, you could tell the sauce was very fresh and well made, I just believe it needed more cheese, nevertheless, a true pizza is found in its sauce, and in its crust, and Pizzeria Mozza definitely topped the charts. The crust was soft, airy, yet crunchy, while the pizza itself retained its fullness and texture. It was the kind of pizza where you take a bite from one side, and a bite from the crust to truly experience the fullness of a slice.
This one pizza in particular, with the egg, greatly caught my attention. It had a sunny side up egg in the middle, and I am not a fan of this style of egg, so I was curious how it would taste on the pizza. The perfect blend of textures in the pizza combined with the egg made it work on a phenomenal scale. It truly had that "spark". It was as if southern bbq met diner breakfast, a whopping amount of flavor that truly had me going "wow" every bite.

This was a most wonderful experience, and I can't wait to come back. This is a place I would normally suggest setting up a reservation in advance, and mostly for taking out your significant other. Although the atmosphere has a fancy feel to it, the price range for the pizza was more than reasonable. I highly suggest coming here.

Upscale presentation, good food. Mostly spicy selections. Their mild is still quite spicy for me. Meats were well marinated and tendered. In the heart of Soma. Go early to get a seat and then this place fills up quick. Came with a Lao person that said this is authentic.

It is not possible to express the wonder of this pizza. Absolutely fair price for the amazing quality of the food. If I ever return to Los Angeles, the only certainty I have is that I will return to this pizzeria.

I did not have a seat and I sat down on the side of the bar. At first I was amazed at the cleanliness of the craftsmanship and I was surprised at the cleanliness. Without a timer, I take out all the pizzas at the right time and cook them ... The pizza is cooked and all the eggs are half-boiled. I even cook corn and broccoli in the oven.
The pizza is scary and delicious, and the disadvantage is that the crust is not cut with a knife. If you eat about 2/4 to 3/4 edition per person, it will be called.
I want to go again.

The epitome of California style pizza, our fennel sausage pizza tasted fresh and light. It's made in a wood fired oven and the crust is crispy and airy. I'm not a cheese person, so I loved the fact that the pizza didn't overload on cheese, opting instead for a nice balance of fresh veggies and olive oil. Iwould also recommend the fried squash things.

My go to spot whenever I'm visiting the city. Love the ambiance, great crowd, eclectic tunes, excellent food, fresh & delicious drinks (thanks to their great mixologists.) The downside to this place is how packed it gets. Ive only been here on weeknights any by 7:30 its hard to get a table.

I heard that this place was amazing, that they make the best pizza ever. The truth is that this is a nice pizza place but definitely not "the" most amazing one.
Staff is nice, we booked a table on a weekday and there wasn't any problem. The pizzas were good but the dough a bit too consistent which made the pizza difficult to finish. I would recommend this place but managing people's expectations.

Incredibly delicious pizza, the best chicken wings I've had, and the perfect caramel espresso dessert. Amazing vibe and very lively. If you dont like loud and high energy places you might not like how alive this place is. Staff was also super friendly and attentive especially for how busy they were.

I got a gift certificate for this dinner at Harris. Tried to book new year eve dinner, but it's all booked. We ended up booking Sat 12/29 5pm. The place has very nice atmosphere. It has live band when we are leaving, so I will book next time when it has live band for sure, but it looks like you need to book way ahead to get the time you want. The waiter explained to us Harris steak is a dry aged steak so my husband tried it and I ordered the Rossini Filet Migon. My husband complained his steak which is medium rare, hard to chew. Mine was medium cooked and was great. Both came with choice of bake or mash potatoes and either asparagus or green beans. Both vegetables are great. We also ordered a triple layer chocolate mousse, which are delicious

I called ahead and made a reservation for My family, and went for the first time last night for dinner.
The place was packed so we figured it must be really good. Honestly, I would pick Pappa Johns over this over priced pizza any day It s really nothing special.
The staff were pleasant, but always in a hurry to clear the table, even while we were still eating. It got to the point that I asked if they needed the table for another party as we were being rushed to eat.
The tea had an odd taste to it so needless to say,I just drank water.
As for desert, we ordered meringue with fresh berries it was entirely to sweet and we couldn t eat it. We won t be going back.

Not much more needs to be said for this "pizza joint" which has the BEST pizza in LA! Nancy Silverton's pizza crusts are chewy (in the best way) and blistered and the toppings are DELICIOUS! Also good are the lentils with goat cheese - I even tried to get recipe.

All the hype is true - awesome awesome pizza!

This is an establishment that REALLY cares about quality! Each ingredient, right down the the lettuce in the salad, was fresh and full of flavor. Even the complementary bread was of the best quality.
Of course, the oysters were stellar! The Hog Island Sweetwaters are my new favorite. Try the warm corn salad if they have it. The sweet-crisp kernels of roasted corn and young leaves of lettuce were set off by a perfect vinaigrette. And do not miss the clam chowder, which is rich with cream and clam juice steeped with herbs. This masterpiece is smothered with steamed clams in their shells.

Haven't been here in quite a while but I'm glad to see that the quality is still top notch. Fairly simple, classic ingredients arranged in a way that is elevated and delicious even in the realm of comfort foods.

We ordered the fried polenta which one would think would be very heavy but the marinara sauce and roasted garlic lifted it up. I ordered the arugula, parmesan and mushroom salad which complemented every dish with its refreshing vinaigrette. The salty parmesan and light mushrooms felt like they melted leaving a very nice feeling on the palate. For the pizza course, we had the fennel sausage and scallion pizza which just screamed delicious. I forgot how chewy and crispy the crust is and how well the flavors mesh.
