Great place for a pizza fellowship after a meeting...

This pizza could not have arrived faster. Blown away at the delivery speed. My expectations were low, because how good could a pizza that fast be? But they were actually pretty damn good. Delfina is my pizza quality baseline, so I have a pretty high bar. Pepperoni was the better of the two, mainly because of the arugula. A good test is pizza leftovers. Held up pretty good. 4 stars for combination for decent quality and ridiculous speed.
I love going, good food and fantastic pizza combinations
Been both Singapore and LA shops. Had great experience as food and service. Best pizza I've ever had....
I placed an order for pickup. Sadly they do not offer my favorite pizza to go. Instead I tried the meat lovers pizza. It was pretty good. I love their marinara sauce, it tastes so fresh. I also got an order of the chicken wings, they taste way better when you eat them at the restaurant but overall they were still yummy.
IF YOU WANT THE BEST PIZZA IN LA, YOU HAVE TO INSTALL A NEW YORK WATERMAKER SYSTEM. IT PRODUCES REAL NY WATER, WHICH IS WHAT IS NEEDED FOR GREAT PIZZA. LBK PIZZA INSTALLED ONE, AND IT IS AWESOME!
Food was great, but for a pizza a bit overpriced! You NEED to valet as parking is impossible. Typically very busy so not much privacy while sitting but food was great, as was service.
I came here while visiting LA. What brought me here was after watching the Chef Table s documentary on Nancy Silverton on Netflix.
If you haven t seen, it check it out...so much more appreciation for the chef and food (season 3, episode 3).
The food was amazing and reasonably priced.
It s casual and cozy at the same time.
Would recommend the burratta, pizza and meatballs!
Found this hidden gem in hot, crowded Hollywood. The food was delicious and the service warm, fast and friendly. Will be back for sure.
The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. Definitely worth it.
This place was really packed on a Monday night. We had the Jack Warner Room reserved for our large party, so the chaos was contained. I felt we sampled a good variety of what Mozza has to offer including their pizzas, eggplant parmigiana, sliced italian meats, etc. I really enjoyed their Funghi Misti, Fontina, Taleggio & Thyme pizza as well as their eggplant parmigiana. You can't go wrong with their food selection as everything that we ate was delicious. Reservations highly recommended as it was packed when we arrived and departed.
I would recommend just taking uber/lyft/sidecar to this place. Unfortunately, it is $10 to valet park your car unless you want to aimlessly search for street parking on Highland and/or Melrose. It isn't worth it effort to look, so save yourself the stress. I noticed that it took the valet service quite a while to retrieve our car after dinner. They must have parked our car really far away which is concerning.
Some of the best pizza pie in the city! Nancy Silverton has created a delicious pizza spot that offers fresh meats, fresh mozzarella, fresh everything...and you can definitely taste it. I stop in whenever I get a chance and will keep doing so inperpituity.
Great pizza, great combinations, excellent customer service
Awesome restaurant. Best pizza I ever had. The dough is perfect and the ingredients amazing. The roasted carrots were fantastic . The Nancy s chopped salad was really good too. I wish I d live closer cause I don t wanna eat any pizza but those anymore! I highly recommend.
saw a lot of good reviews so e went there and we ordered three different pizza and there was nothing special about their pizza. waist of an hour drive to it.
Simply amazing. The quality of the pizza dough is absolutely perfect. You can tell each ingredient is thoroughly thought out, and sourced at the highest level. Sitting in front of the kitchen was a mesmerizing experience, and seeing how effortless that kitchen can produce such a busy Saturday night is amazing. Especially as a former line cook. Keep up the great work Nancy and team!
My preferred location for tasty pizza. Dropped in on Mon I think. Service is typically good. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Kansas City.
Yummy pizza, great staff. Always a great place for us locals to stop and grab a bite.
Really great place for lunch.
The staff are very friendly and the service is superb! and the food speaks for itself. There is so much innovation in the culinary creations. Very tasty! Also, the atmosphere is warm, friendly and inviting.
Well done!
Friendly staff and very professional service. The food is great, especially the big slices of pizza. Their pasta dishes are very good seasoning well done. Definitely worth going for a good Italian meal for you, your friends or the whole family. Very reasonable prices. It s a must go to.
Awesome appetizers, pizza, and wine for a reasonable price. The pizza crust is just perfect. Great for date night.
A really nice place to meet up with friends, great ambiance
Disappointed to report that this is no longer a restaurant worth visiting in LA. I say that fully acknowledging that the food is delicious. Get take out instead and skip the restaurant (and treacherous valet parking). They've rested on their laurels and nearly all the staff, from the manager, to the host, to our wait staff approached our 8-person birthday party dinner with attitude.
Our birthday cake was immediately refused (no outside food), our reservation threatened 4 minutes into it's time slot (if you're party isn't here in 10 minutes, we're giving up your table), and we were repeatedly told (even during dinner!) that we needed to vacate the table within 2 hours. Our waitress walked away mid-drink order (missed half the table) and appeared frustrated when we asked for more time to figure out our entree selection. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable for all of the diners in our party, especially the birthday guest of honor. Ironically, we were dining with someone currently starring on a primetime show on Fox, and we were still treated poorly (not-so-silver lining = all people treated poorly?).
There are too many delicious restaurants in this wonderful city filled with hard working staff - don't waste your time here and instead go to a restaurant that deserves your attention and values your patronage.
We couldn't wait to eat so this picture is halfway through our pizza - margherita. Delicious! Best tasting sauce. A couple next to us was complaining because they didn't get "shredded cheese" on their Meyer lemon pizza. When they left, they left an untouched slice on the pan and we tried it and it was beautiful! If you want "American" pizza, you'll be disappointed (and should go to round table). The Italian invented pizza. I think they know how to make it the best.
My top site for quality pizza. Nice place to think about business. The service was very sociable and kind. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.
defiantly good pizza but a bit expensive for just a pizza. Also, it take to long to get our order. overall, nice place.
We had a fabulous meal with excellent service! We can't wait to go back. Everything was creative, fresh and wholesome. The banana ice cream was the best!
Best pizza in L.A., too crowded, tables are too close, impossible to park.
Went with some of my buddies and had a great experience last night. This Pizza special restaurant is quite busy on weekend nights. I loved the amazing items because these are very much delicious, well-cooked, and yummy. Recommended to foodies nearby.
Delicious deep dish pizza--close to Chicago style. Corn meal crust is incredible--better than Zachary's pizza. I do think, however, that the pizza topping mixture is slightly better at Zachary's. Good service, both in person and over the phone.
Mozza might be some of the best pizza I've ever had stateside. Perhaps they've just got it right from the wood-burning oven to the ingredients to the traditional Italian style. We had a late dinner here on a Friday night. We were led into the cozy, candlelit wine room and started off with some citrus-y drinks, an Anderson Valley Blood Orange Gose and Julian Hard Cider Harvest Apple.
$32 Bone Marrow al forno:
This is probably the most generous serving of bone marrow I have ever seen. Three bones were stacked on top of each other next to buttery grilled toast, some cilantro, and sea salt. The bread was so buttery and crunchy and good on its own, but that didn't stop the gelatinous marrow from being the star, and a little sprinkle of sea salt only enhanced all the flavors.
$18 Egg, Bacon, Yukon Gold Potato, Fontina, Sottocenere & Cippolini Onions:
I gotta say the dough is probably the best part, very thin with thick, golden brown crust. The egg was baked perfectly with a very runny center. The bacon was arranged in strips and potatoes were in thick slices. Perhaps the potato would have been even better if it was thinly sliced and crunchy. This would make an amazing breakfast pizza, that is if you want to splurge on breakfast.
$20 Bacon, Salame, Fennel Sausage, Guanciale, Tomato & Mozzarella:
This is your classic meat pizza. Also very very good with thin, soft, chewy dough and a crisp crust.
$13 Gelati - Pistachio, Olive Oil, Hazelnut w/ Pizzelle:
Lastly some delicious gelati to finish the meal and also something cold to help cleanse the palate.
Just thinking about the food is making me crave some pizza. The service was also great, super friendly. I would love to return to try their non-pizza dishes too.
More than just great pizza. Awesome appetizers, vegetables, panini and main courses. Not just a little sibling of Osteria Mozza next door but a world class restaurant in its own right.
Quite possibly the best pizza in Los Angeles. Highly recommended. Be sure to reserve a table.
Amaaaaazinggg pizza! A bit pricey but wonderful food and delish desert
Good experience. I recommend sitting at the pizza bar.
What I liked about this restaurant is that their best menus. We got home so full. We really like their Panzenella, Pasta Carbonara, Margherita Pizza, and Mushroom Risotto. All of them are so yummy! You could really savor your day here! This is the best for family and friends. This is also best for romantic dates. So amazing!
Always loved the pizza here. Lives up to its name of artisan pizza. Great ingredients taste wonderfully fresh. Not overly greasy like a lot of pizza - it tastes just right for the balance of cheesiness and toppings plus a well made dough.
We are delighted with our lunch today and can t wait to go back again. Staff are incredibly helpful and can't do enough for you.
This place is perfect on so many levels. First, they gave my a group a great round table tucked in the back for our new year's eve dinner. The waiter was friendly. And most importantly, the pizza was really unbelievable. The quality of ingredients was exceptional and the crust was amazing. Will definitely have to come back.
I have no idea what the hype is about. It's a pizza place, which owned by amazing chef's you would think would be amazing, but it falls highly short of that.
The parking situation: First off there is no parking except for Valet, which is $10. Fine it's LA I get that, but when you have to wait 30 minutes to get your car back because they can't get it together to get the cars moving and it back up traffic down the street for miles. That is a problem, apparently there was a party that night, which you would think they would know and knowing the parking situation they would have staffed appropriately. Odd how that works out.
Made a reservation, good thing too, because this place is tiny and cramped, they literally have to move the table out so that you can get in. Don't trying getting up after you're in unless you are committed to leaving. Everyone enjoys another persons butt rubbing on your table next to your food... not.
The service wasn't bad but it wasn't outstanding it was just that service.
The Food: Well we got the meatballs because that was recommended, but the bread was better than the meatballs it was served with. The meatballs were just that meatballs, nothing special, the flavor wasn't outstanding it was just so so. The pizza, well that was lack luster. It was a pizza, better than your chain pizza, no better than any other high end pizza joint. It had nothing special, and there weren't any amazing options.
In conclusion, I would never return because the parking was such a disaster it's not worth it for mediocre pizza and service. Nothing was special about this place.
The food was amazing, but I was very disappointed that if you bring a cake to celebrate a birthday, they charge $8 per slice!!! We still purchased a dessert, and were told it would be an additional charge if we wanted to have the cake we brought.
Overpriced food. Appalling service. Very disappointed. Will not be back.
I really enjoyed this place. The wait was a bit long for walk-ins. I waited in the line bar (standing) for about 30 minutes. The bartender was not personal; however, she was pleasant. Overall, good food and worth the bar line wait.
Must try! And you need reservation. Totally worth it.
I love pizza and they use fresh ingredients I can taste the difference believe me! Go here and eat, you wont regret it.
Pizza is ok. Unfortunately, the crowd is pretty unpleasant (screaming white rich dudes mansplaining every other table around).
Great little pizza spot that lives up to the reputation.
Man it's good. Cauliflower is delicious, wine selections are grand, pizza dough is incredible, and dessert was enjoyable.
Service was poor at noon which is a major reason for 3 stars. The second reason was Nancy's chopped salad was heavily seasoned with oregano that sticks in your teeth. Overrated. The white bean bruschetta was excellent.
Good Italia pizzeria in LA. Really nice staff. Still a little bit far from Italian standard, but probably is not what they strive for
I really wanted to love this place. Growing up in an Italian restaurant family I love authentic Italian restaurants and the unique flavors and menu items they offer. We had the meatballs which were good, the meat pizza which had some different flavors, a chopped salad, and a dessert for lunch. Everything was obviously authentic and made with the highest quality ingredients, but the flavors didn't wow me. The price, however, did. A pizza, salad, and pasta lunch for two with tip came in around $85. I am not cheap when it comes to quality food but this just seemed excessive. The salad surprised me most at $18 for lettuce and a few slices of meat and cheese. If I had to go back I would stick to the pizza and skip the salad.
Sooo good. Food, service, presentation... Everything. Will be returning here.
Food was good and surrounds are nice. The staff always looked busy attending to customers and cleaning off tables for new customers. Owen, the manager, was just amazing. Coming there for the first time, he made sure every question was answered, made great recommendations, and was very personable. My family really enjoyed the food as well as the 'extra mile' Owen took to make us comfortable. Thanks so much for the great experience and lunch!
Great pizza, the dough is too notch and the ingredients are out of this world.
Picked up pizzas to go yesterday. It was a long ride home having to smell their deliciousness and not being able to eat them right away...Tricolore salad was also excellent. Food was ready for pick up as ordered and staff was friendly. Would go more often if we lived closer.
lives up to the hype. Really good food and really good service.
Mario Batali's spot really live's up to expectation with great food and inspired choices in wine and beer.
Don't question it. Go there. Eat it. You wont regret it.
Huge disappointment. Not worth the hype or the money. Pizzas are very mediocre. Maybe there was nothing better in LA when this place opened but now there are several places that are so much better. I won't be going back.
Superior pizzas with a wide variety or flavors. Crust is crunchy and perfectly baked. Appetizers are also very good, the chopped salad is very large and can easily feed five people. Only marks are for noise in the restaurant, very hard to hear five people at a single table. I would recommend going with smaller parties so you can sit closer.
Excellent pizzas here. I was here locally and needed to grab a quick bites. I sat at he bar and was served quickly. Got a small pizza with various toppings. Their appetizers are also real good.
The food here is always great but we had terrible service the last time we were here so it will be awhile before we go back. The waiter opened a bottle of champagne at our table and it sprayed all over my wife. We laughed and brushed it off, however it also spilled on the ground. They tried to dry it with towels but they didn't do it well enough because when another guest was walking by she slipped and used my wife's shoulder to keep from falling which was painful. We told the waiter what happened so they could do a better job drying it. While I understand that mistakes occasionally happen, they didn't even take her drink off the bill or anything else.
This place is hands down best pizza place in Cali. Great meal, and great service.
If you re craving good pizza, this is the place to be. To start, we ordered the mozza caprese with a side of pane bianco. The caprese is amazing with fresh basil, pesto and juicy tomatoes, and the pane is perfectly toasted and dressed with a generous amount of olive oil and salt. For the main dish we ordered two pizzas, the squash blossom and the meatball with mozzarella di bufala, tomato and fresh oregano. Our favorite was the meatball pizza, which had a nice kick to it from the chili flakes.
Great service. Called in for a Togo order and she answered all my questions and helped us figure out what pizza would fit our needs. We are excited to try the classic and original pizzas.
This was absolutely incredible. Crust is amazing. The squash blossom and fennel sausage pizzas were out of this world. Try the butterscotch budino for dessert. Featured on Netflix s Chef s Table!
In some circles, Pizzeria Mozza is the best pizza in LA. As it turns out, this isnt the case in my circle. However, it does offer a solid pie. If you ever wanted pizza but had your family visiting from out of town and wanted to take them out to a nice dinner, Pizzeria Mozza fits the bill. Id definitely come here again, but mostly on special occasions, be it formal family dinner, date or on the instance that I want pizza and still want to feel fancy.
Aside from pizza, other items on their menu are pretty amazing. The meatball in particular are pretty damn good.
Stopped by for a pizza and asked about gluten free. Not only do they have a great gluten free pizza but they had a great process to help reduce cross contamination. Both our pizzas were great, but the service was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend!!!
Incredible outstanding dough, good toppings and very good service!
YES! YES YES!!!!!! This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I'm SO glad we made a reservation to come here! If you like good Italian/pizza then this is a must visit restaurant in Hollywood. Not to be confused with it's big sister fine dining restaurant Osteria Mozza. The pizzeria is separate, but you still need a reservation if you want to get in!
Best pizza on the west coast, hands down. Have been here a few times and every time has been delicious. Gotta try every pizza!
The best deep dish pizza I've ever had! The customer service is outstanding. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
Pizza was delicious and awesome would definitely recommend.
Not as good as expected...Don't get the squash blossom pizza
Food: Honestly the best pizza I've ever had. The most expensive pizza on the menu was a margarita; obviously I had to ask why this was the case and I was informed that it was imported mozzarella of the highest quality with sunblushed tomatoes. I was not disappointed. The crust was also superb.
Ambience: Relaxed and homely but with a touch of class.
Price: Premium. The most expensive pizza was $23 but the cheapest was also around $12.
Service: Courteous and friendly but not overbearing.
Worth the visit: Definitely.
Mozza never dissapoints! I crave the pizzas - for me, there is no better crust except for a little place in Sicily that I adore. I love the arugala salad - the parmigiana portions are generous and the mushrooms always plucked-that-day fresh. The pizzas are always perfectly crisped, and they have great specials if you catch it on the right night. ;)
However - the service is often below average. On a recent visit, I ordered my usual pizza, and it tasted... off. I told the bartender, who told me 'oh yeah we're out of the usual salami' with a shrug and walked away. O...K........ I ate one bite, he charged me for a whole lot more. This is typical - the service is just not very good, unfortunately.
Luckily for me, I sit at the bar, order quickly, and enjoy what I came for - an amazing pizza.
Favorite pizza spot with great customer service every time!
Pizza and the setting at this place is super good. Visited on Sat I believe.
