Mountainland staff members have always been able to effectively and efficiently communicate to me during any interaction I have had with them. This ranges from the upper management to any collector. They are really trying to change the way "collections" are done and work in a professional manner at all times.

I just paid off a bill today. Heidi was helpful, kind, and friendly. She got me taken care of quickly. She gave me her number in case I had any more questions or problems. Thank you Heidi!
Mountain Land Collections has been wonderful to work with and makes collections much easier. MickeleAnn, Kathy and Wendy are the best to work with and really know their job!!!
My bills were sent here and I didn't even know I had outstanding balances. I panicked when I found out, but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! I didn't get harassing calls from them day after day like other places and they were really willing to work with me. I appreciate the staff and all their help!
They were fine as far as being nice and somewhat helpful But 7.00$ fee to pay with a card is just another way to gouge you cause they know going by mail isn't always an option...
Man, there s nothing more stressing than having a debt on your head sent to collections but with mountain land collections great team, Kyle, was able to help calm my nerves and allow me to get taken care of. Really cool guy and applied some personal experiences to help me realize that these things happen but it s not the end of the world! Shoot, he even made me want to apply and start working there with how laid back the environment seemed to be! Pay yo debt people and live stress free! You got this
Alexis is AMAZING, she answered all of my questions & reassured me how security & privacy is their main priority. Very easy to pay off debts with them.
I was very hesitant, at first, to return any calls I received from Mountain Land Collections.
In fact, I actually waited a couple of weeks, because I didn t even realize I had ANY outstanding debts!!!
I usually pay all my bills through autopay, and keep all my other bills up to date!
I received a phone call from Mountain Land Collections without receiving any other paperwork, so I did not return their call until 2 weeks later when the paperwork finally arrived.
The paper work identified a medical provider I recognized that I had gone to 3 or 4 months prior, which I did recall I had not paid, due to a family member s death in another state, as well as an insurance company change at work... between those 2 things, I had misplaced the bill received and completely forgotten about it.
Just the very next day, when I received another call from a Mountain Land Representative.
This agent was super kind, helpful, courteous, as well as patient and kind when waiting for me to find my misplaced card!
This agent even gave me his direct line and told me the hours of service so I would be able to call back at my convenience, and not feel panicked (I have never even had a late book due at the library!!! And if my memory is fooling me... I m for certain that if I EVER did, all these years, with raising 6 children, it would have been just ONE book! )!!!
I called the very helpful agent with my HSA Credit Card the very next day, after finding my HSA Credit Card!
Dominik took care of everything just perfectly!!!
He was so kind and very thorough!!! I was grateful he was the one to help me out those couple of days!
I have a couple of sons who have worked at Collections as a means of employment, and I felt just as comfortable talking to Dominik as if I were talking to one of my fine, as well as professional, sons!!!
Mountain Land Collections was a great company to work with! There is nothing to be afraid of by calling them back!
My only suggestion would be, because in this day and age, there are so many scam artists out there in the world, for the customer to BE ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE THEY do have a past due debt BEFORE they contact Mountain Land Collections... OR (THIS IS TO MOUNTAIN LAND COLLECTIONS!), IS THERE MUST BE SOME WAY MOUNTAIN LAND COLLECTIONS SHOULD BE ABLE TO INCLUDE at least the name of the office where a person s debt may have occurred so the customer in question may validate that they DO INDEED have outstanding balance from that institution!!! (Just my 2 cents worth!)!!!
Mountain Land sent me a paid in full (after I paid my bill!) document, as well as a paper that stated that if there was anything negative reported to me about my credit score to any of the agencies, they would reverse that directive, immediately!
What a RELIEF!!! How GREAT!!! ,
Thank you, Mountain Land, for your kind & courteous help!!! Your team has been the BEST (Yay! ) to work with!!!
The staff are amazing people and very professional! The company is very accommodating to the companies that choose to use their professional team to help with your collection process. I would highly recommend Mountain Land Collections, you wouldn t regret your decision!
While the individual on the phone was more or less civil(at first), I had no idea this bill even existed until it showed up on my credit report 3yrs later. It should have been paid by medicaid. The lady said she would mark it as disputed, but then went on demanding full payment, would not work with me on the balance, and acted like I was stupid for not wanting to pay.
One thing to understand right out the gate. I do not believe that collections agencies are the bad guy. If they conduct themselves professionally and with curtesy, they are good. With that said, I have seen people write reviews about this agency stating that it works with its customers and works out payments. My experience has been nothing but negative with them. I have now had multiple garnishments placed on me from this company without them ever making an attempt to contact me to arrange payments or let me know that I owe money to them. Even when I have contacted them to work it out back when I at least received letters from them, they would not work with my existing budget. Their actions have done nothing but leave me unable to keep up with my regular bills over the years. They are not professional nor are they courteous.
It's a scam. Don't pay anything. I got a letter in the mail stating that I was $300 in debt that I didn't even know about. 100% scam. I did my research and they are just out for your money. What a joke!
They have charged the wrong amount two times in the past month to my debit card. If you need to pay off a debt with this company, mail in your payments.
I GOT A PHONE CALL SAYING THAT WE OWED OVER $2000 TO THEM. RECENTLY THOUGH WE HAD GOTTEN A HOLD OF OUR CREDIT SCORE AND IT TOLD US THAT WE ONLY OWED $510. BUT THEY WON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT IT SAYING THAT IT WAS FOR A BUNCH OF THINGS. ONLY 1 I KNOW THAT IS ON THAT THE REST I KNOW WAS COVERED BY INSURANCE AND PAID FOR. THEY SAID THEY HAD MAILED US A STATEMENT BUT WE NEVER RECEIVED IT. THEY TOLD ME THAT IF I WANT ONE I HAD TO SEND A SELF STAMP ENVELOPE FOR THEM TO MAIL IT. THEY MUST BE REALLY CHEAP THAT THEY CAN'T SPEND $.43 TO SEND US A BILL. THAT IS SO RIDICULOUS.
I'm just really frustrated. We never received this bill from the hospital for my husband's chemotherapy. I have binders full of bills and paperwork, because as you can imagine, it's a lot. It was instead sent to collections where they put an inquiry on his credit, charged a bunch of interest and then charged a SEVEN dollar fee to pay by phone or online. It's great to rip people off when they're already down, right?
Apsalute fraud. I have had same experiance company just sent to my credit I have never been contacted or called what a load 50 buck to scum on earth. Why can u do anything about company's like this.
what is wrong with you people>>> i called the phone number you posted and no answer last week and today 4 times no answer theen i went on line to use phone number you had and called but again no answer come on get with it eith way i went to who had sent the bill paid it got the reference no bill paid in full
Mountain Land Collections was great to work with. They were nice and willing to waive some of the interest fees which really helped in paying off my balance.
EDIT: After speaking with the partner in the law firm tied to the collection agency, I am revising my review and rating. I will leave the original review at the bottom. I was apologized to for the way I was treated and the individual helped to resolve my issue. The reason I am leaving the review at 3 stars is because it took me hours of phone calls, and frankly being angry that caused the collections agency and firm to look closer into the matter. I feel the process for trying to reconcile medical bills is designed to frustrate and force the individual into an un-winnable situation. At the end of the day, after my case was escalated, the outcome I was seeking was achieved. I just wish the process was easier and less combative. I will say that I believe the law firm is acting in good faith.
The combative attitude of the people who work for this agency and the lawyer partner are unprofessional, uncourteous and should be investigated for their practices by the Utah regulatory agency that oversees debt collection.
Got a $1200 medical bill from these guys after a mixup with Workman's Comp. They were not very sympathetic or kind at all but when I had the information available they cooperated. I Was pretty shocked though, I was treated like $1200 they don't get to have. 2 Stars since my issue was fixed. Could have been more if they had nicer service.
I found this company on my credit report for $133. Really? Never received a bill or a phone call. I can easily pay a debt that amount if only I knew I owed it. Last I knew, the doctor was resubmitting the claim to insurance. Now, I spent several years working in the collections field, this place is a joke. Not only are they unprofessional, but they don't notify people in a timely manner of debt owed. I wouldn't use them if I were in need of a collection agency for my business. First, I contact them and they want to charge me for a phone payment. Then, I called back to talk to a manager and waited on hold from 4:28 to closing time. No one ever came to the phone. They don't seem to want my money too badly.
They try to back you into a corner to pay them. I had a payment plan with them while I was working. It was $400 a month. I am currently on layoff during the winter. I called to inform them that I would be getting laid off for the winter and they refused to lower my monthly payment. I told them I would then just stop all my payments until I got back to work in the spring. They threatened to garnish my wages. (Good luck with that, cant garnish unemployment.) After talking to them for awhile, they finally agreed to take $240 a month instead, which is still a little steep, but doable. I missed a payment the week of Christmas and Danielle called threatening to "pursue other legal actions against me." I called back a few days later to make the payment. While speaking to Danielle, I notified her, if she ever threatened me again, it would be the last penny she ever saw from me. She of course claimed that she didn't threaten me. But I have a call recorder app on my phone that records every call automatically. That clearly shows that she has, numerous times. Oh sorry Danielle, did I forget to mention that "all calls are recorded for security purposes?" Oops sorry. I guess it is good that Utah is a one party state, where you do not need the other parties consent to record a phone call. You are lucky I am paying on this at all. For 1, its my wife's debt from before we were married. So I am not legally liable for it. And 2, my wife is a stay at home mom, so you can't garnish her wages. Consider yourself lucky I am even paying at all. I can go to the Judge who you got the judgement from and prove this isn't my debt and that you are constantly violating the FDCPA. Keep pushing me, my patience is wearing very thin.
Heidi-Friendly but don t appreciate all the nosey questions! My bill was less than $100 so not a problem I paid it immediately but the questions about job & other just unnecessary
The exact same thing happened to me as the user below. Epic physician services + mountainland collections= a match made in money-sucking heaven! First, take complete advantage of us when we're down/sick; next, lose records including FOUR MONTHS OF PAYMENTS I made that were never credited to my account; and finally, have zero accountability when good, honest people like myself try to fix the problem. I am sure you all are very pleased with your profit margin. Congratulations on figuring out a perfect exploitation scheme.
They don't deserve a single star. This company is terrible, im not sure how this people sleep at night. I never received any papers stating that I had a collections account with them. They just served me papers out of the blues. When I called to discuss my account, Megan I think was her name, had the worst beside manners, super rude and unhelpful. I paid my account and I hope I never cross paths with them again. Also, whats up with the automated responses on negative reviews? They won't even make the time to respond to people's reviews, pathetic.
They are currently suing us for my son's $1300 ER bill. My 16 year old boy had a stroke and we took him in immediately when I noticed his facial paralysis. At the same time my daughter got injury in sports and I was hit with another $2000 ER bill. I was paying mutilple doctors offices minimums payments for several different department cost because the way they divvy up the accounts is ludacris. They will only accept $250 aonth payments on the $1300 bill. I have paid $500 and miss this last month because of unforeseen income issues. It's been 2 weeks since the due date and a process server showed up again, last night and served my 12 year old daughter while I was at the grocery store. They are EXTORTIONISTS, plain and simple. They have zero regard for financial situations or familial obligations. OR even the fact that most of these are medical bills, which is when people are at their lowest and typically are without income or it's been drastically compromised. They set the minimum payments too high on purpose so that they can obtain judgments and garnishments. I am not trying to shirk my obligations but $250 is too high and they don't care what you have to do to get the money to them or how much stress it causes. For god's sake if you are injured in Utah, even if you are bleeding out, call the ER first to see if they contract through these shysters.
I love Mica and the team at Mountain Land. We have worked with them since we opened. When we need to use their services I have not had one complaint from my patients. They work with them on payment plans and never harass them. The staff is great to follow up with us on open accounts and do the best job collecting outstanding accounts for us.
They are willing to work with you no matter your circumstances. If your not with comfortable with a collector and you ask to work with someone else. They will find someone else who can relate to and connect with you. Paying off a collector is never a fun task. But they really do make it easier. The person I am working with has and I am very thankful for her.
Keystone cops were more organized. If they hadn't messed-up my credit, I would never deal directly with them. Thirty-three calls later, they are still not clearing the credit report they messed up...mine! Incompetent, rude, uncaring, unprofessional and no one knows....well, anything! Should have known they were scary illegitimate, since they took on the enormous illegal mess left by crooked Gold Cross Ambulance, Iron County Utah
Carla is the best person ever. Had a medical bill we never saw go to collections and she helped us out. Got it submitted to our insurance, called after they paid, and we paid the balance the insurance didn t pay. Wonderful woman. If you re having a bad experience, ask to have Carla help you because she is a wonderful human being.
Heidi was super patient in trying to contact me. Admit it we all hate the debt collectors phone calls cause it makes us feel bad about ourselves. Lol. But she was cool. I owned up and paid the dang bill. She was super friendly and helpful. 10/10 would never shop here again. Lol. Hopefully she won t need to be calling unless it s to get a tattoo!
As a client I can say that Mountain Land Collections is a great company to work with. I have been working with them for several years and they are friendly, helpful and responsive. They are genuinely concerned about serving our needs and making sure that things are done right.
This company is nothing but scam artists...they collect your information to call you...when you offer to look into the information they provide you to see if you do owe money they threaten you.... won't send an invoice and have wrongfully charged me when an account was paid in full....they also reported this false information to the credit bureau when account was paid in full .....they are complete frauds!!
These scum bags refused to call me back when I attempted to make payment arrangements. Then they took it to court and garnished my wages. As soon as that was paid off. They hit me on another one a week later.
They attempted to tell me they wouldn't take the payments which I could afford and I pitched a fit. Worst business I have ever had to deal with.
I contacted this company to settle an outstanding debt that'd been accruing interest and chewing away at my credit score while I remained blissfully ignorant. I got in touch with Megan who was cheerful, pleasant and knowledgeable. She helped me settle my debt and in my opinion went above and beyond in terms of customer service and satisfaction. Thank you Megan.
they took a credit card payment to pay off debt, thought that was illegal...can you add debt to debt per regulations? Also, my bill was 51.00 they charged 4 dollar interest and a 7.00 convenience fee. I work with collection software and that is an outrageous convenience fee. Most companies charge 3.50 at most. also, it took me 3 phone calls to get anyone to answer to pay this off. the only bright spot was anastasia was nice to deal with.
I received a bill and called in and talked to Kailey. I told her that I could only pay part of the bill. She told me to pay what I could and they would send me a bill for the rest. I payed them $100.00. Then next month I received a bill and called in on 3/8/2019 to pay the remaining $135.00 On 3/15/2019 I received a notice they were going to send me to collections for $42.00 I called in on 3/18/2019 and was told I needed to pay $138.00. I told them I payed $135.00 on 3/8/2019, but the collections note says they sent me a notice in 3/11/2019. After being on hold, they told me that it was fixed and I no longer $138.00, the $135.00 was credited and my account balance was zero. I spoke with Mary, Kaylie's supervisor and she told me that there were no notes and I had not set up auto pay pay, so they sent me to pre collections. I told her that Kaylie had not told me about auto pay and Kaylie did not make notes and that was not my fault. So, what I took from this...they did not credit my account, even though I had an email say they did. KEEP YOUR EMAIL RECEIPTS. Kaylie does not know how to set up auto pay and does not know how to add notes to an account. Don't have Kaylie help you, she does not know what she is doing, and 3 days after you pay your bill in full they send you to collections
Switched from Bonneville to Mountain Land Collections over a year ago and couldn't be happier. Their attention to detail and their quick responses to emails/phone calls is superb! Hopefully you are lucky enough to have Kevin as your rep. he is always professional, accommodating and willing to help!
This collection agency is a joke! I was part of a medical fraud case in the state of Utah and this company began to call and harass me daily on several bills that were fraudulent. They did not take the time to validate the bills and when they were asked to present the billing for validation, they refused!
I spent almost six months working and waiting on them to produce legitimate bills. They could never provide the billing but continued to report them to the credit bureaus. After almost a year of battling with them, we ended up going to court to finalize this battle. They were ordered to drop the bills because they could not be legitimized by them and they were told to update the information on my credit report but do you think they did what they were ordered to do??? HECK NO! Here it is almost another year later and we are still dealing with their fraudulent practices and they have yet to update the credit rating as they were told to do.
This company is simply looking for funds and they will do it in any manner necessary even if that means doing so fraudulently. They will NEVER acknowledge that they are crooked and dishonest.
HONEST companies acknowledge errors when they occur. BEWARE and always ask for copies of the original billing from them so you know for sure that it is an honest debt.
Due to the medical fraud happening attached to my name and SS #, I have had the pleasure of dealing with numerous collection agencies and this is the ONLY ONE that is truly DISHONEST in their dealings!
My mama taught me not to use those kinds of words that I would need to to describe this place. Nobody chooses to go here but even once you end up here they're the scum of collection agencies.
MLC IS AN INCOMPETENT, LYING AND DECEITFUL COMPANY! I was contacted via phone by MLC regarding a fraudulent Collection that was over 2-1/2 years old. The collection person "Jocelyn" was very rude and threatening. I advised her that they were in violation of HB128 as I have never received a bill for an amount due, or have ever received any documentation regarding a collection. I contacted the hospital that Jocelyn said had sent me to collection and they advised me that they had not sent me to collection and there was no balance due.
Mountain Land staff is always professional and courteous. They are easy to work with, and know the industry well. They have done a great job for our company for over 10 years.
Listen, no one likes to owe money to people, but let's be real, this situation is my fault haha. I called in twice to take care of two separate medical bills I had been lazy about and LOVED the interaction with both AJ and Heidi. It can't be easy to have their job, especially right now, but they were still very friendly, competent, and helpful with my questions. I hope their supervisors give them a raise or at least a gift card! They deserve it.
I've unfortunately (again, because I'm lazy) had to be on a few different collections phone calls with other companies and they are hands-down the best to work with. Feels like you're actually talking to a human instead of a scripted robot.
Thank you for staying positive despite all the reasons to be negative. I really appreciate it.
I had a small $100 charge I had no idea about that was getting my credit score. I got it taken care of and they helped me remove the hit off my credit score.
Got a letter. No idea what it s from. No information on the letter at all. Waited on hold for two hours to try to find out. Finally gave up. If you are looking at this company to do your collections, be aware that they are clearly very understaffed. No options to leave a message for a callback.
Update. I tried today and got right through. The debt was valid and it was really easy to resolve. They were fine to work with once I got a hold of them.
Mountain Land Collections has handled our collection needs for 16+ years with no problems or complaints. Knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them.
I have been working with the great staff at Mountain Land Collections for more than 10 years. When I changed jobs I was sure to select Mountain Land Collections for my new employers collections needs. Our patients get great service so we have very few complaints, and that is important to us. Mica and Cathi are great to answer our questions and keep us up to date on the ever changing rules and regulations. Thanks for the great service.
The people are nice that I have dealt with but they have a stupid processing fee higher than anywhere else I've seen and they don't show you how much you have paid or how much you have left. You have to call them and drag it out of them how much money you owe and you better save your receipts or else they will tell you something different.
I unfortunately have had to deal with collection agencies in the past. And I am always relieved when the case is turned over to Mountain Land. I think they are easy to work with. As long as you own up to your own bad.. whether it was during hard times and you are not trying to be dishonest by not paying a medical bill.. In the end, it is still your bill and you should rightfully pay it.
Luis works at mountain land collection and who would have thought I looked forward to talking with him. He was patient, kind and even thoughtful today was my last payment, I really will miss making payments I m glad there are young men who talk with respect and concern for others Thank you again Luis for your helping me with my payments I appreciate it and you
Hayley Miller helped out on this call. I was extremely angry and frustrated when I called, but realized that it wasnt their fault it was Sandy City ambulance that messed up and never billed my insurance. Hayley was patient, helpful, and got my issue sent back to sandy city ambulance to rebill the insurance even though it had been over a year and their policy generally doesnt allow that. SHe gave me her contact information to follow up, and even went above and beyond and sent in a request to get this removed from my credit report with in my upset status slipped my mind. Collections agenies generaly do not have a great reputation but Hayley and this company are doing their best to alter that perception.
They setup payments agreements but never cancel the other payment so they get there money. That is a CFPB violation!!! I hope they get in a lot of trouble. I have file a complaint to the CFPB!!!
I work with Mountainland from a business standpoint. They have been very helpful with all our needs. They are quick to help and answer any questions. They are all great to work with from my experience.
I called to pay off a debt of 189. And clear my credit mark however I got Dominic on the phone and he asks me which debt I'd like to pay off...I said excuse me he said ma'am theres 9....I bout died..he was so nice, kind, informative....I wanted to cry ..3000. Later ..he advices me what would work in my best intrest and threw out other options... gave me so much info and what they can offer to help me with and hes going to check into a couple that looked like duplicates....omg even though its large amount and thought I'd die...I will pay it but will only work with him. This company is a collection company however they are just doing their jobs as employees so bare with them and they can help you.
Dylan was an excellent associate who helped take care of me and my situation in a superb and professional manner! He had an answer for all my questions and made everything easy to understand.
Top notch. They are not the old school head hunters. They want to help you resolve issues with medical debt. They answer quicker than the original debtor, and have more resources than my drs office did to help explain to me how we came to the amount due. I dont like collectors... However this company seems to just want to help and will work with you many layers before credit issues arise. My representative was outstanding. However my memory is not, as I do not have his name at the moment. He allowed me to select my mothers coffin while patiently awaiting my credit card number. Which they do not save, he had to ask me for it each debt. Like i said.... Top notch.
so my daughter is off to collage, she moved to another apartment and had an outstanding utility bill that did not make it to her new address but it was turned over to this collection agency, and they sent the bill to me at my address.
they would not allow me to pay the bill for security reasons $7.31 hey if you don't want the money I would say its on you, right?
Karla is the best collection agent I ve ever talk to she was very personable and understanding and actually cared rather than just trying to collect the bill. She was very helpful and pointed in the right direction to questions I needed
MIkeleAnn @ Mountain Land consistently provides wonderful customer service so things always run smoothly. We have used them for years because of her attention to detail and efficiency. She really knows how to get things done.
Not that my review will deter their business in any way since the firm makes its money on victims not customers, but I would like to echo my resentment along with others. I had a bill that was supposed to be paid by insurance and wasn't. Later the insurance company took care of it, and it was even removed from my credit as others are stating. Even with all that, Mountain Land still calls to pester me and tell me that I'm wrong. I'm not one to avoid a debt, but I'm also not going to pay for something that a.) was never my responsibility in the first place. and b.) is nonexistent now anyway since it WAS ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF.
Okay, obviously nobody likes a collections agency. In fact, I'm a bit surprised there's even a rating option on the website. Even for collections agencies, though, there is such a thing as standards and respect.
Here's what happened to me. Out of the blue, I get a collections notice for a bill I didn't even know existed. The billing company didn't talk to the hospital and sent me to collections because they didn't have my address - poor business in my opinion.
I received the collections notice on December 15. In tears, I called the collections agency. The company taking me to collections didn't ring a bell, but with the date of service, I was able to deduce that it was the local hospital. They also told me that I had until January 19 to pay the bill without having anything reported to the credit agencies.
I called the hospital, who sent me to their billing service - Epic Physician Services (or something like that). Epic had no record of me. Went back to the hospital, someone from the hospital called Epic, they found me, and deduced that they were unable to bill me because they didn't have my address (even though this was provided to the hospital on the date of service and had not changed - they blamed some botched data dump between systems). They pulled everything back from collections, billed me directly, and everything was paid and cleared by January 20.
Around February 1, I see that I have one account in collections on my credit report. They indicate that I was brought to collections in August - though I was not notified until December. I called Mountain Land Collections and they indicated that they reported the collections notice on my credit report on December 31 and pulled it back on January 15. I asked for a document from Mountain Land Collections indicating that I was wrongfully brought to collections, but apparently they don't do that sort of thing.
I'm trying to buy a house - this does not help me. I have a completely blemish-free credit report right up until the year I'm going to the bank for the biggest loan of my life, for somebody else's mistake.
The people of this company are so DECEITFUL, I called them, they tell me that if I pay the total amount then they forgive the interests, but it is not so, for my luck I could not send the money order and call to make the payment by phone, then I they say no, that if I pay I must make the total payment, this person contradicts the other 2 people I spoke with a couple of weeks ago and today, one of them who assured me many times that he would pay the interest-free amount is called B Johnson. If I sent the money order they received it and they told me that they still had a balance, and after I told her the name of the person who talked to me and faced her, she ended the call. These people are VERY DISHONEST, do not use lies, I strive to get this money and they play with people. I am not in collection because I do not like to pay, I had and still have serious economic problems. Mountainland Collection IS A TRASH. Be careful with your payments, they can tell you that you do not owe anything but in reality they keep you in debt because they do not tell you the truth.
Mountain Land Collections has been wonderful for us! Our account manager is always available to answer questions, and keep us educated on the new laws and regulations. We appreciate them very much!
I had to call these folks today to straighten out a mistaken collection account and spoke to Samantha! She was very professional and helped me get to the bottom of it. She was fantastic!
I have worked with Mountain Land Collections for several years. They are very friendly and professional. They always keep me up to date on new laws and are quick to answer my questions. They are wonderful to drop by my office to pick up paperwork and really go out of their way to work easily with me. They are a great company to work with.
I love the reps at Mountain Land Collections! They are always professional and pleasant to work with. Anytime I have questions or concerns, they are easy to contact and willing to help.
No one is going to like a collections agency, but these guys are the worst! I had no idea I had a bill go to this collections agency! I never received a call, a letter, or an email. I only found out about it when I checked my credit score. When I called to take care of it I asked why I've never heard anything from them, the woman I spoke with said they sent letters that stated return to sender and that they're not obligated to call us.. First of all it has been my address for 10+ years and I confirmed the address they had of mine and it was accurate. Second, why would you not call someone you've been trying to get a hold of for 5 years?? When I tried to talk to her about it she started yelling at me saying they don't have to call us! Come on guys! At least pretend like you're not the terrible business we already think you are.
Insurance screwed up ... I was a little flustered to get a bill from collections as I take pride in my credit and money. Kyle was so kind and understanding and was able to help get my situation figured out and he also put my mind at ease. This guy deserves a raise Thanks for being so kind. That was huge !!
I understand that Mountain land is a collections agency but when Heidi A girl that works for them won't call you back, it makes it kinda hard to work something out with them. Then when I asked to talk to her manager she hung up on me. Maybe this is how Mountain Land works or maybe it is just Heidi, either way they should change something!! If I were the Sandy City Ambulance I would think twice about working with someone like this!!!!
