The place was hopping for the anniversary celebration. We both were impressed with the service and food. Riggi is a great server with a wonderful personality. We enjoyed the entire time we were there.

Absolutely horrible experience. Went on a Thursday evening to grab a bite before Music on Main. You d think they would be prepared for this weekly event.. umm, no.
We asked to be seated outside along the river. They seat us at a dirty table with pieces of food from the previous guests along with fallen foliage and dust/dirt. After waiting over 10 mins the waitress came to take our drink order, at which time I also requested for the table to be cleaned. About 10 mins later she returns with a craft of water and no glasses and again I asked to have the table cleaned. She says our drinks will be ready shortly. She doesn t take our food order, walks away and takes the food order of a table that was seated after us.
We wait about another 10 mins before the bartender delivers our drinks. Soon after, the waitress comes and finally takes our food order and again I have to ask for our table to be cleaned. She returned with plates, silverware, cups and finally cleans our table.
My friend ordered a salad and I ordered the Coconut Curry Shrimp. After about 20 mins my friend was served her salad. My food came about 10 mins after that.
Her salad was just bizarre. It had full pieces of bib lettuce (not chipped, ripped, etc) with one full strip of bacon across the top. The salad dressing was tasteless.... very disappointing.
My coconut shrimp was in about a 1/2 of grease... I had to push all my shrimp, veggies and noodles to the side of the bowl to strain the grease. I m still waiting to hear my left ventricle slam shut!
This place is obviously mismanaged with a waitstaff that has zero knowledge of how to take care of guests and cooks (yes, cooks, because a chef would never have served food like we received) that don t know how to prepare quality food.
Very sad. They should close their doors. If I could attach a pic of our food I would... it would stop you from going there.

Went here last night. Only thing worse than the food was the lack of service. Maybe the loud atmosphere was worse. They need something to dampen the noise. I sat right next to my wife and we had trouble talking. When the waiter did show up he had to shout over the customers noise. My ribeye was not only well done, I asked for rare, it was very tough. My wife's dinner came 13 minutes after mine. We never got our drinks. The waiter gave us the bill and asked if we still wanted our drinks. No thank you!

I decided to just have soup, my husband had a burger & fries. They brought my soup out 15-20 min before my husband's burger. So I was done eating & got to sit there while he ate..
Not ideal, will think 2x's before going here again. I guess I should have gotten a burger too. Ugh

My husband and I moved to the WB area 6 years ago and ate at the Cafe a few months later. It was such a memorable experience with FRESH food and almost the whole menu was Gluten Free! We brought friends here when they would visit from out of town and everyone requests to go back. It is a little pricy but knowing that I am eating local farm fresh food and sitting in a cozy atmosphere is worth it.

Maybe we just picked the wrong night. They were hosting a large rehearsal dinner. Fish was raw in the middle, food was not properly seasoned, and no salt and pepper on the table to try to make it edible. They did apologize for the uncooked fish, and didn't charge us for it. We won't rush back.

The dishes are always creative and delicious (I recommend any of the desserts especially!). The atmosphere is a little dark, but sometimes that can be just what you're looking for. Staff are kind and attentive, and they're always flexible.

My wife had the crab cakes for an appetizer I had the Wisconsin Poutine (a Quebec dish in which cheese curds are served layered on top of french fries, and melting under steaming hot gravy). crab cakes were very good, the Poutine was good, (not as good as the normal Poutine but it was definitely a healthier version) the fries were a little soggy, 90% are normally soggy from the gravy but ones on top were not crisp - very large portion. We then had the beet salad - out standing, some might struggle with the goat cheese - you could ask that it be put on the side (it is a clump on top). She had the sherry scallops & mushrooms (with wild rice) this to was outstanding. I had the seared Tuna, sounded really good but did not do it for me, the tuna was a slight bit fishy (not objectionable) and the tuna was a bit cool (not cold but not at peek temperature). I did re-sear it the next day and it was better - I still would prefer a wasabi based sauce. Staff was very nice and the environment was great - it was a quite night there - only 4 - 5 other tables. Food came really fast - if it is a quite night and you want to take your time tell your server to give a little time between courses.

We had a group of 7 and we tried many different dishes including the fish fry, an 'egg pizza', scallops (pictured), tenderloin medallions (pictured), and a few others. Everything was unique and delicious and our service was amazing.

First off, the restaurant was not busy at all, about 20% capacity. Food was very good. That was about it for a great experience. My friend ordered a Bison dish and I ordered Duck Beignets. My friend got their dish 25 mins after we ordered. My dish did not come out for another 15-20 mins after this, meaning there was a very awkward period for this meal. The Bison dish was a very small portion. Way less than a main course should be, and even borderline enough for an appetizer. The duck, was excellent and I really enjoyed it. However, I feel that if it's going to take 20mins plus to prepare an entree, they should warn you. And I think we both would have been happier if we got our food at the same time. I have a hard time giving more than 2 stars for this experience. The food was 5 stars, but the wait was 0 stars. Being at a non busy restaurant for more than 30 mins is unacceptable these days.
