Pool and outdoor very nice and clean
The food is good there !

Nice place to visit. Did not stay there but had lunch which was great. Have a very old feel . There is a beautiful love story behind building this mansion.

The hotel staff was so helpful, friendly and great. It has beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of different options and was delicious. However, the room we stayed in could have used a bit of a face lift though. But other than that, great experience.

I have five years of living in Sri Lanka almost daily go to drink my coffee there is a very wonderful place

One of the best HOTEL...I AM DAMN HAPPY with this hotel and It's a competitor of HOTEL TAJ at Delhi...it has every facility like GYM, Games Room , Banquet Hall and it has its OWN beach which is very Clean...

A very elegant place to stay at when visiting Colombo. Its a bit away from the chaos of a city with a private beach. Stayed there for a day. One of the best things i liked was the food buffet spread. The sitting arrangement at night, around the swimming pool gives a splendid feel and live music forms the icing on the cake. Worth trying..

Superb hotel with excellent service and outstanding location

I didn't stay but I was hired to make one of their washing machines. I got to know that they are concerned of drying the cloths than washing. So if the hotel is full, chances are, you won't get clean bed-sheets and towels. Their kitchen is also a disaster. The hotel is trying its best to survive.

Customer service is good as well. Since it is just next to the mount beach you can enjoy a nice evening there with a beautiful view.

Bay Watch Romantic Dinner? Same as you I went with no clue, thanks to my wife chosen an amazing location for birth day & dinner was amazing, staff was extremely friendly. It s on the beach side of the hotel & very private, great place to celebrate an special occasion, we miss the sunset & it would have been an ideal time to arrive, try to make it to sunset.

Great hotel. The hotel has all the services like Spa, Private Beach, etc.

Great atmosphere. And staff is very friendly and willing. I hope they get to renovations soon as some areas of this historic building is starting to show its age

This is an amazing place. It has a history more than 100 years.. View is amazing as you get the beach, nice restaurant with beach view.. Even the buffet is good with collection and reasonable price too.

This hotel has a history to it. Its located in a place that gives you a phenominal view of the mount lavinia beach. There is a sea food restaurant where you can dine at the beach itself. but the beach isnt a safe place for a bath anymore. The hotel staff gives you great service they are well trained and highly skilled at getting you what you need. I give it 4 stars since the place feels a bit old and needs a little refurbishment to look a bit more lively.

Very nice place to stay in Colombo.
We stayed during New year and wow we really enjoyed the New Year Gala Dinner (which was expensive - 100 USD per head and compulsory for any guest staying there wether you want to the party or not).
Rest of the stay was nice.
Check for compulsory supplements before booking your stay.

The buffet and the frame still beautiful. A perfect place for a family lunch on Sunday.

Old British colonial building and feel like that you are in that period.

Good foods. But banquet halls note good condition as 5 star..
