Stayed for a few nights. Very high end feel for the most part and the outdoor bar area is very social indeed. Will deff be back

Service was great, older hotel but still has a great boutique feel. Pool area is great along with the beach.

Review is only based on time spent out by the pool at night for a private event. Inside is very chic, renovated in 1995, but looks brand new. 1950s charm.

Loved this hotel and our room... convenient location, close to the beach, dining, nightlife and more. This was a family vacation with our 5 y/o and my sister in law, husband and her 2 kiddos and everyone enjoyed themselves. Staff was great, dining was excellent and our kids had the best time at the pool. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you Delano Miami, we cannot wait to be back for an adults only trip

I had a great time here. Nina at the pool bar is amazing and goes out of her way to entertain and create a fun environment. She also makes a amazing Mojito.

I didn't sleep there but I took advantage of the various facilities having dined in the Japanese restaurant inside. I have to say this hotel is very trendy and has a real charm between the lounge and the back. A must see.

This is insane the place has no heat. The excuse is it s an old building! I understand it s florida but it does get cold in Florida ! Also the plumbing is not working! This was such a cool place to stay but this hotel has seen its day. I would never stay here again ! Thank god they have robes to help us stay warm it s 67 in the room!

We are very disappointed with this Hotel. We read amazing reviews about the hotel and the pool area prior the booking. I am with my best 2 friends from childhood, one lives in Mexico and the other lives in Seattle. We arrived very excited to start our adventure for 3 days, we stopped at the front desk to do the check in and the first thing they told us is that they will have an event Saturday and Sunday with a DJ, tickets might be sold out which means we won't be able to use the pool but they could take us in a shuttle to another hotel to enjoy the pool. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS??? Rates here are very expensive but is based on the service & amenities, right? .why do we have to pay for something that we are not receiving but btw they already made the full charge of the 3 nights!!! ... If we knew the pool wasn't be available for these days we would have booked somewhere else!!!!

Classy joint. It still thrills after all these years. Not too loud. Beautiful set up. The rockstar hotel that started the whole Washington Avenue renovation of hotels. Lenny Kravitz and mick jagger used to party here. Again it still a beautiful spot.

A club that ruins dreams. I'm livid, it's disgraceful that they took our inflatables. Poor judgement Delano...

I can only recommend. The location is sumptuous, your room was perfectly okay, the room was a bit old-fashioned, it could be a refreshment, but the place is really good. I recommend the sushi !!!

One of the best sushi chefs in Miami Beach! A must-have. Bring your drinks by the pool after for the best view ever.

The hotel is ok.... even for the high rate that is not justificated as the room was beaten up! The bed broke during my stay! The pool is beautiful. If you want a 2019 4 stars hotel gold standard do not go there. If you are not bothered by paying high money for staying in an historic building of Miami go ahead!

The venue was super small and some of the bartenders were a bit rude. However we found an amazing bartender at the same bar that made incredible drinks so he saved the day. Music was amazing, overall had a great time. Valet is pricey.

this is a review of the restaurant. great service, very friendly and helpful. Also the place is very clean! the food was tasty. we enjoyed our little lunch stop at this hotel.

My wife and I cannot say enough about this hotel! First, the staff, without fail, were attentive, friendly, and super! The facilities are beautiful! Many events got cancelled in miami due the virus. All the events refunded 100% , only this venue keep the fees! Bad karma for you guys!

Trendy hotel with a great vibe and amazing location.

We have just spent 8 days at the Delano in a Partial Ocean View King room #1419. Several friends had recommended not to stay there, saying the Delano is not what it used to be. In hindsight, I regret not listening to them.

The room and bathroom were spacious enough, but I found them rundown for a luxury hotel and the premium that the Delano charges. The blackouts had holes in them letting light in, plugs for charging the phone were located on one side of the bed only and the shower and bathroom floors were very slippery when wet and dangerous.

Cleanliness was not up to par; on arrival I found a previous guest s sock in the smallish and only cupboard, a dirty pillow case was left on the lounge chair for two days until I left it on the floor infront of the door for pickup. On several occasions we would be gone from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. to come back and find the room had not been made. The bathroom towels smelled of bleach and vinegar. We were out of body soap for a few days. While it often rained during our stay, this was no reason for the windows to be dirty on the inside. The hotel in general wasn t particularly clean. There was an empty mojito plastic cup at the top of the stairs to the hotel for three days before it was picked up. The lift floor was often dirty.

The lift was a nightmare. There are only two lifts servicing 15 floors with around 15 rooms per floor, room service, housekeeping (I believe) and the constant repairmen going up and down. It was not enough especially as one of the lifts was often not working properly, stopping on every second floor for no reason; when you are on the 14th floor that can be unpleasant. We had to budget approximately 10 minutes every time when using the lift.

To top it all, we had breakfast inclusive in our booking. However upon arrival, we were told that they serve breakfast a la carte, that they are giving us vouchers for $70 per day for the room. At first I thought that this would sufficient. However, I quickly learned that this included service and taxes. Basically if we both ordered omelettes, cappuccinos, only one can have a juice! And if we ordered a side of toasts to go with the omelettes, a second round of capuccinos, then we would go way over. I wrote hotel management on the second day:





I was conveniently ignored. I did not want to make an issue of it and ruin my vacation further, but the hotel ripped us of and did not honour the conditions offered on reserving.

On the positive side, breakfast staff was nice if understaffed. On several occasions we had to chase the breakfast waiters. The pool staff was attentive and quick to respond, but pool chairs were often all taken.

oh, and at night, the lobby and pool area turn into a club with lots of outsiders. Considering that I did not notice any security in the hotel or key-only access to the floors, I found this worrying.

Never again!

The location was isolated, but it was the phenomenal staff that opened doors to a successful vacation. We flew in from PA, so we needed the shuttle service. Greg, super star bellman, got us to and from local activities for our six year old grandson.

The whole staff here were friendly, helpful, and professional. Beautiful building, immaculate rooms, and great ambiance...right on the beach! Can't get much better than that!

Amazing night life! The pool is stunning. The lobby is straight out of a movie.

We went There Last Summer But It is Very Nice place and their bedroom are very Small .

Licated in the heart of SoBe, the iconic Delano Hotel is drenched in Deco from head to toe. The exterior is an eggshell white that drapes the elegance of the interior furnishings as well as attentive staff. Concierge, front dest, hosts, bartenders, servers werw all polite and descreet. Rooms were available foe the day of my choice at a considerable rate to its peers on a festival weekend. Security was par none and the managment detailed their grounds extraordinarily.

Pretty nice hotel...Derrell by far superseded expectations when it came to service and hospitality.

Great hotel but super expensive and pretentious crowd.

Currently staying here, room 1201. The refrigerator doesn't work. The windows are filthy and the curtain falls off the rack. You hear all the noise they are not insulated. The shower hose will not stay put and it either faces the wall or the shower door and floods the bathroom floor. You have to hold it in your hand in order to shower. The floor is dirty. So is the carpet by the settee. The bathroom is very tiny and they obviously at one time put tile over the old tile and you have to be careful not to trip. This place is a mess! Now we are stuck.

Horrible service we booked a table for 3 at 8pm and we ve been waiting for an hour with no response and their excuse saying there will be a table son wait patiently. It is just inacceptable and rude plus we reserved a table unbelievable

It s a cool spot to chill and have a few drinks. You just have to take in the scene here.

Drinks are expensive, but that s South Beach. Also your at the Delano.
