Worst experience with the valet service. Beware of charges at this hotel, check things twice. Horrible customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. Never in my life have I been treated so horribly. The security escorted my friend outside after she floated in the pool and never once gave her a warning and said don t do that. They figured she was too intoxicated and made a judgement to just kick her out without explanation or questioning. After seeing this, me and another friend followed her out and they held my other friend there and 2 others inside saying we had to pay the bill. Which they had a credit card for. They held us for an hour and couldn t get a manager to talk to us. We had to beg and plead with security to get a manager and when they finally came, they asked us what happened and he said he would be back in a bit to handle it. He NEVER came back. After another hour of begging for a manager, the police were the ones who presented the bill to us. Which we never saw before, they just charged us without giving a receipt to sign or anything. Come to find out we were charged many things that we never received. The server lied and manipulated us. There were 5 of us who heard the same thing that the giant bottle would only be a $50 upgrade. In the end she charged us for 2, cigarettes and 2 packs of red bull. Which we only ordered 1 bottle and she lied about the price. She wanted to scheme us to make more money. She presented it like we were just drunk and didn t know. They will review the tapes and see there was only 1 bottle served. A hotel should not treat guests like that. It s ridiculous with the amount of money they make and they don t even care when the staff mistreats people. I had to go inside and find the restaurant manager of the main restaurant so that someone would listen to us because it is not right what they did. Unbelievable and disgusting.

Very happy with everything even if its really expensive but its worth!! Amazing place

Walking through the lobby at night is like stepping back in time - in a good way.

I wouldn t stay here again and I m not a fussy traveller. It s obvious this hotel was once upon a time a jewel but now it s too old and people writing rave reviews must not have stayed anywhere else on south beach. Old , dirty, elevators now broken for 3 days if my stay they re not stopping on 6,7,8 floors and I can t believe nobody has fixed this.

Trendy pool... HA!! It s trendy for Illmannered eurotrash and their bratty teenagers.

This trendy pool at a supposedly adult South Beach resort is filled with little kids and 13-year old girls who want to be instagram stars.

Their French Mom and Dad are usually in the corner drinking Rose and not paying attention.

Awful. Skip this place if you re looking for a real South Beach scene and go elsewhere.

It s like being at Disney or Daytona Beach, not South Beach. For the price, not worth it as you re splashed and annoyed by children all day.

Also, if you re an American you will not get an equal level of service. They only cater to semi rich Frenchies and their disgusting wives.

Again, fake South Beach. Disney South Beach. Move on.

(But do go to dinner st the restaurant Leynia. Service is fantastic and the kids all seem to be taking naps when we were there.)

The stay was okay. The room was clean, bathroom small. The bed was clean but not the most comfortable. The pillows were over stuffed and was difficult to get a good night sleep. The pool was my favorite part, make sure to get there early or the beds become all taken up. I would consider it a family friendly pool environment - not the trendy nightclub scene like next door. A lot of families with good music. The restaurant is good...staff was friendly.

Perfect place, it has everything. Recommend 100% it has a way out to the beach.

I'm sorry, but due to billing practices, I will NEVER stay at the Delano again. Was charged 2x for the same stay, and getting is resolved is an endless game of being hung up on and being placed on hold. Mind you, not once have I even been sarcastic. Very disappointed.

Walked in Sunday morning for breakfast. Beautiful grounds, food was excellent. Service was ok, but I think most of the crew were prepping for their brunch rush. A little messy in some areas while they got prepared. Took a long time to acquire salt and pepper for the table as well. Eggs got cold waiting.

The interior is to die for. Breakfast at the tables in the pool is amazing, and the rooms are the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life.

I loved the burger and the calamari. We ate at Bianca's.

If you go to Miami you need go to Delano. The most famous hotel, a beautiful pool. The foods are amazing and service is great. But is very expensive!!

The pool parties,Rose bar, lobby all superb. Design...Philip Stark, always chic. Except for cocktail prices..average $15 ..but then again its the norm for south beach.

I order three drinks at the bar in the Delano and all three were served in plastic cups. 2 martinis and a glass (plastic cup) of wine. Hopefully management is reading this and realizes that s it s not cool to serve a $23 martini in a plastic cup - would you like a martini served in a cheap plastic cup? That s so cheap Delano. I would have went to The Clevelander Bar if I wanted to drink from a plastic cup but clearly you can go to the Delano too!

If anybody out there is looking for bargain deals for hotels and resorts head to . booked a resort on there and these guys had the best rates any where!

This place always takes me back to a time gone by. Beautiful aesthetics, amazing rooms and facilities (what a gym), and in a top location in Miami. What more could you want?

The staff is Amazing, and beyond accommodating. Very rarely do you get the kind of genuine service and kindness that makes your day and stay so much better.

Rose Bar in the lobby is a staple of South Beach, iconic pool area.

power sanding from the room next door at 10 AM.
House keeping woke us up at 930 even tho we had late check out. Room arranged so that ocean view was not visible unless standing in corner. Couch too low to see out window. Sum total of toiletries in bathroom was two metal canisters of cotton balls. Coffee maker was espresso only. No actual coffee cups. Lobby beautiful but everything overpriced. No bowl of fruit or water or coffee. No newspaper. Bell hop never came in am to get bags. Very very hard to find front door to drive in.

Definelty not a 4 star hotel. Missing so much in rooms to account for such . Needs to be cleaned as well. Great staff though !

The ceviche was delicious at the outdoor part of the restaurant. Too much kale in the vegetable Cobb salad.

We like to stay here. The service is really good because the staff is always attentive and nice to approached. Their room service is the best and their food is actually really good too. But some of their bathrooms are messy.

I was in the beach bar of this hotel. It's a very friendly atmosphere. There is no beach view from this place.

This hotel is absolutely amazing with it's own pool and access right to Miami beach!

Great property, clean rooms, and it definitely lives up to it's high class reputation.. Now the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is it is kind of expensive and I think some of the employees are a bit stuck up. Oh well maybe it was a bad day for said employees.

My date didn't tell me how much my fancy cocktails were but he thought it was funny that his absolute sodas were $40 each. All of our drinks were small, mostly ice, and in plastic cups even though we were at the bar away from the pool.

We loved this hotel. The staff were great and the food at all three restaurants we went to inside the hotel was fantastic.

I have stayed here a number of times over the past 3 years. I have always found the Hotel to be professionally run and managed. Staff have always gone out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It doesn't disappoint.

Delano is delight from the decoration, to the food and staff. Definitely coming back

This is such a beautiful hotel.. And the location is perfect! We came here for brunch and even though it was a bit on the pricey side ($60pp) the food was amasing! Our rating scale 1-10:

Everyone was so nice and it was all you can eat so we ate all we could then took a walking tour afterwards to walk the food down. Parking is not included so exspect to pay a $20 fee but trying to find a spot on your own is a bit difficult so just pay the fee. Weather you're stating or just visiting it's a really nice place to travel to.

I attended the robin shulz event on 03/17/16. The venue was nice would have enjoyed a pool facing stage rather than the patio facing stage but was still and amazing relaxing and fun at the same time.

Very classy place for just drinks or even a full meal. After lunch we hung by the pool and had some drinks. Better quality overall than other similar places in the area.
