View is 5 star. Property is old and broken down. I understand Covid. But these workers are enjoying the fact of explaining the rules in a rude fashion. Find another place

Laguna Beach/Aliso Beach is beautiful and Clean!! I live in SanDiego and Drive up here to this beach for it's Beautiful ambience so worth the drive on the 101.
Lot's of local places around to eat and Boutique stores to shop.
But for family fun bring your packed lunches or Bbq grill.. Snacks drinks Etc...
Blanket or beach chairs as well.

This is prime real estate. My wife and I just had dinner at The Loft which is located on the Montage property in Laguna beach. What a wonderful time and such delicious food.

I was not staying at the hotel, I just took a walk around the outside, which gives access to the sea. It is a beautiful place, both the tour of this area, and the hotel building that is accessed from that place.

A luxurious stay! Stated here for a work-related conference and was impressed with the service from the staff. You check in, your offered a brief tour as you stand on the balcony taking in the view. The dining was fabulous. Rooms are very spacious. Decor was simple yet chic.

Beautiful views of the coast with a nice scenic route along the cliff.

It it's very clean compared to other places in Laguna, very nice and romantic, beach spot was beautiful.

Now this was an amazing surprise! We were strolling along the beach and came upon an employee of the hotel. We asked him about the food and he recommended their restaurant. We ordered an appetizer and a main course but kept getting three additional courses plus dessert - all vegetarian. (We did not tell the staff that we are vegetarians) We kept asking why and were only met with a smile. At the end, the employee we met on our stroll came to our table and asked how the food was. We told him that we absolutely loved it but that we got four additional courses. He smiled and said it was all on the house and that he told the chef that he needed to spoil us. The employee we met was the maintenance manager and he was the only one who knew our food preferences as we told him. We since recommended this hotel to all our friends. This is a place were love meets service and outstanding food.

The Montage has lost its magic. We have been going to the Montage for 15 years, and sad to say, it was a much different experience than we ve ever had before. I went for my birthday last weekend, and not even a mention of happy birthday from staff, after my husband specifically requested some surprises for me upon arrival. They completely dropped the ball. Walked myself to my room, got my own towels at the pool and had to wave down attendants repeatedly for service. Drunk people playing loud music at the pool reminded me of being in Vegas, not the Montage. For $1695 a night, I was beyond saddened and disappointed.

Best place to go snorkel and swim must go too in laguna filmed a movie their on treasure island went as a kid to watch my grandpa paint in old Mobil park good memories but don't eat dinner unless you want to pay 100 dollars a person

Last night we were celebrating a beautiful event in the Loft restaurant at Montage. The restaurant had amazing food, desert and their superior care and attention was made our event so memorable.

A must see scenery. There is public parking and public beach next to the hotel. so even if you are not staying at the hotel you can visit the beach.

Didn't stay here, but parked the car and just walked around for about a half hour. Beautiful stroll for a sunny day.

Scenic cliffs and great sand for laying out under the sun.

Went to the Montage for a Christmas eve lunch at the Mosiac and it was fantastic! We also explored the many wonderful holiday decorations including a large gingerbread city and mistletoe hung above the lobby fireplace.

An all service luxury hotel. Every need is carefully attended to by a contiencious staff. Great views, great rooms. Amazing location on a stunning stretch of beach. Local car service provided. Couldn't ask for much more out of a hotel.

Beach was beautiful. We saw starfish, dolphins, and seals. Unfortunately there was tar all over the beach

Gorgeous grounds, stunning beaches, beautiful rooms, breathtaking views, amazing restaurants, and a spectacular spa... those are just a few reasons we love to stay at Montage Laguna. I have stayed there several times, and each time has been absolutely perfect. The staff are extremely attentive and go above and beyond, truly a marker for hospitality.
There s something for everyone and any occasion. It s appropriate for anything from a honeymoon, family vacation with the kids, or a relaxing getaway to pamper yourself. Best advice I could give is to get a room with a view and book some spa time!

Luxurious beachfront resort with incredible ocean and hill views located in the heart of Laguna Beach. Even if you don't plan on staying here overnight, you can still enjoy the property by walking along their private beach, cliffside walking path and dining areas. I love visitng the beautiful Montage!

I've been here on multiple occasions, whether it would be for a sunday brunch with the family or a birthday dinner, the stay and scenery never fails to impress me. The beach access is perfect.

Bad place to visit. Won't get back here again. I don't recommend it.

I attended a wedding at this fantastic venue and had a wonderful experience. The sunset beach view was lovely. The staff was courteous and professional. Everything was top notch. Highly recommend.

We roomed at the Montage for a corporate event. My wife and I were greeted with amazing service right from the start and it continued to the very end. The food has been amazing, the bar tenders well versed, and staff extremely responsive. Our room was immaculately clean, and turndown service was precessional. The Montage is worth is premium pricetag.

Montage is an amazing experience.
The structure is big and even when busy it doesn t feel crowded. 100% of the staff is competent, polite and kind. Restaurants are great and the pool and the beach are just perfect to relax. Extremely recommended.

This resort was nothing short of stunningly amazing. Of course the great view off of the Pacific from lobby viewing balcony was beautiful enough, what really made me fall in love with the place was the staff. Every accommodation and request was fulfilled and exceeded my expectations. Every staff member was gracious, and I could tell I was the #1 priority. The pool was amazing, and the wedding I attended was beautiful, and was taken care of spectacularly. The food was delicious, and the menu was full of variety. Everything was simply perfect. My stay was so amazing, I think I could live there. I definitely look forward to going back to the Montage, hopefully very soon.

My husband and I have stayed there several times because it makes for the ideal getaway within driving distance from the LA area. The resort itself is immaculate on every aspect, offering beautiful views of Treasure Island Beach, immediately down the ramp from the hotel grounds. There one can lay out on the hotel-provided chaise lounges (for hotel guests only) or enjoy spectacular snorkeling in aqua blue waters that would make one think you're in Bora Bora, Cozumel, or the Caribbean. Yes, it's that blue! The hotel is pricey but worth it as the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the resort and town which can be accessed for free via the trolley. It's a 20 minute ride each way. If you want to splurge a little or prefer a location where you will be treated like royalty, this is a must!

I attended a meeting on the beach in front of the hotel. Service was very helpful and the place is always immaculate unbelievable view of the Pacific Ocean.

A great hotel surrounded by a bluff top garden walk way. We enjoyed sitting in the the lobby listening to piano music while watching the sunset.

What can I say! Try the pool deck for lunch, amazing views and service. The entire menu is wonderful!

Overall a very nice property. Valet especially friendly and efficient. Bar service friendly and genuine but slow. Beautiful grounds but slightly dated in the wood lodgy style and carpeting in the lobbt area. Still an oasis in busy laguna and id really like to try the main restaurant!

Beautiful hotel on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean

A very beautiful area for a hotel, great views and walks down south to Aliso Beach or North to see the pirate tower. Keep in mind that the northern pathway will be blocked off during higher tide and the only other way to get there is through a gated community/

Had dinner at The Loft and it was absolutely amazing. Great food, servers and the view was spectacular.

This is an amazing resort overlooking at the ocean at the Laguna Beach.

Very classy hotel right on the water, beautiful property. You can even just valet your car at the front and go in for lunch at one of their restaurant if you want. They will validate your parking slip too.

How cannot you not resist such and incredible property!! From the second you drive up the service is exceptional and friendly. It was just a weekend stay-cation but it felt like a vacation! Our first room was a little disappointing as it did not have a view and I made that request when I booked it. The front desk said it would take an hour for a view room so we checked our bags and sat by the pool and had a tasty Pina Coloda and a delicious salad.. fresh and amazing view!! Checked into our room and I could stay for weeks!! So beautiful and it looks like it was recently remodeled. Not inexpensive but it's worth saving up for.. can't wait to come back!!
