One of the most gorgeous ocean walks I've ever seen. Gorgeous beach as well. My only complaint are the several flights of stairs down to the beach. There's several clean bathroom options as well.

The Montage is an absolutely beautiful first class property with top notch service & fabulous food. The Spa is relaxing, a decent gym to grab a workout. You have a choice of 2 Pools to lounge by. Take in the beauty of the ocean views or a short walk will land you on the sand and you can sit by the beach. My Husband & I love coming here every year!!!

We are admittedly a little prejudiced in our feelings of Montage. My wife and I had our first date there, I proposed and she (happily) accepted there, and we honeymooned there. We have been fortunate enough to stay at some wonderful resorts in the past, but Montage is the finest we have yet to encounter. The staff is unparalleled, the grounds beautiful and the food amazing. From fine dining at the Studio, breakfast at The Loft, or lunch at Mosaic, all are wonderful. We cannot recommend it more highly.

Celebrated my birthday with friends and had the best time! Our server David was amazing and explained every single item we got splendidly. Every single item was delicious and the drinks were absolutely out of this world!

It was my first visit at the Montage Laguna Beach, I was here for a wedding, and was pleasantly surprised that the wedding was taking place outside in what can only be described as an ample sized garden with three areas one having an open circular wood burning pit, where the piano and an open arch that served as an ideal spot for the wedding ceremony, all of this overlooks the Laguna Beach, Pacific Ocean. This outdoor setting combined with a very attentive staff, excellent cooks and Chefs, and a large party room make the Montage Laguna Beach a truly a great wedding venue, with hotel accommodation, which I highly recommend, so that you can party and not have to drive.

We didn't stay at the hotel. We love walking along the beach near the Montage. The outside of the hotel is beautiful!

The Montage was a great place for the social event I attended. It's gorgeous and the servers were great. The only problem I would have is that our event didn't have a coat room, so the ladies had to wear their jackets or place them on a chair throughout the event.

Relaxing place to visit. Staff at Montage treat guests with the best customer service. The treat disabled customers very well. Offering special help when able including borrowing a wheelchair and giving a ride in golf cart from upper to lower levels. They also provide free valet parking for disabled placard guests. Overall they treat you right! A bit pricey for the food, but the service is great!

Super nice place to visit or stay. Beach front great restaurants and very lush atmosphere.

Luxury hotel in paradise what can I say...the location says it all.

I just went for about 2 hours just for my leisure time. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going again soon. Absolutely gorgeous view.

I would always bring friends and family here if to introduce them to OC. Jaw-dropping everything. Colors of nature, enormous size of the resort, very-very well maintained and yummy restaurants.

Overall the beach was amazing, water wasn't to cold. I had lots of fun.

Came here after an extremely stressful day/week. My house had a leak and now it's ripped apart. I'm essentially homeless. We just wanted a few drinks and a decent meal. My friend and I decided that we just wanted to stay at the hotel or one near by. However the waitress refused to give us the WiFi password. Apparently it's just for guests. I have never been to a restaurant or bar where at which they refuse to give you the WiFi password. Eventually they allowed me to use the computer inside the hotel. The security guard literally stood over me and timed my use. I might be temporarily homeless but am not broke and can easily afford to stay at this hotel, or anywhere else I choose. Maybe the waitress and security guard are confused by this as they make an hourly rate and doubtfully can afford to stay there. If you are servicing drinks or working in hospitality, learn a bit of humility and be nice to your customers. They are paying you!!!!!!

The best part is that the security Brut decided that I was not worthy of going back to the restaurant, so he kicked me out. My friend and service dog were still at the restaurant. As I didn't have my phone there was no way to call him. So there I am on the street with no phone so no way to get a cab or Uber. The hilarity lies in the fact that I had all the money. So the rocket scientists had to eat the bill. Good job! #idiots

I attempted to call to pay the tab as even with horrible service and the humiliation it's the right thing to do. After several transfers and holds they passed me to security who was more interested in taking a report. Mind you the police were already called when my friend couldn't pay because I had our wallets. This place clearly hires the best and brightest. I told them they can take my cc info or F off. They chose to F off. Mind you all this started because they wouldn't give us the WiFi password. Their customer service goes above and beyond. I'll send them a check and hopefully they'll figure out how to cash it.

Pelican Resort, Ritz Carlton ....spend your time and money at both of these wonderful resorts. Pelican's butler service is unmatched. The Ritz goes out of their way to treat your children with kindness. Their staff is courteous, kind and very well mannered. The staff at The Montage resort spends more time being discourteous than respectful. Of all the resorts in the world I have stayed at, booked corporate events at, executive events at and had the pleasure of experiencing this is far and away one I will soon hope to forget. I could elaborate on each and every point given I am writing is enough. I believe kindness should be part of the Montage's values and it is clearly not.

Excellent service. Beautiful atmosphere. Love the live music here. Piano and guitar and the singing was just lovely. My Favorite spot to be to relax and renew my spirit.

Brunch was great in taste and presentation, but the parking situation was abominable. Driving to the entrance to valet the car midst arriving/departing hotel attendees was entering a chaotic scene. Not a pleasant scene for this high-star resort.

Wedding venue shopping. Nice location, but pricey as you'd expect

Most prestigious hotel , love the beach and after getting massages we sat by the spa pool. Celebrating my birthday here was the best time. They are dog friendly as well!

I enjoyed the nice walk along the cost. It is very beautiful. I also enjoyed the food i had with friends at the resort called "The Loft". It was really awsome, but it took forever for our food to arrive. I think it was almost 40 mins till we got our food cause we spent a little over 2hrs and 30min at the restaurant. I had to go back to my car and pay for the parking meter. And i payed for 3hrs for parking. And put another 3hrs causr we wanted to go on the beach walk and enjoy exploring the ocean waves. Other then that. I thoght it was good and fun. But i probably wont go back to resort restaurant. It was way to long of a wait just for food...

So close to the beach. Resort with a wonderful ocean view! Service is great, too. There s also beach access from there.

Valet is 50 dollars, so if you re just visiting there for a couple of hours, you might want to park elsewhere (street parking or public parking in the facility).

I like the restaurant on the patio where I took these pictures, but there are soooooo many bees! Everything else is great :)

The Montage Resort really knows how to partner with Nature!

The Montage is a high-end, Tastefully appointed Resort along the California coast in Laguna Beach. Everything about the resort is impeccably maintained and some of the most wealthy people in the world vacation and reside there. It is definitely a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, go for a walk, or if you have a bit of extra money, eating at one of the restaurants.

Nice beaches, pay parking was close, but limited spots. We tried snorkeling around the rocks, but the surf was too high.
