My favorite beach in the US. This hotel is top notch. Been coming here for over 10 years and it s the only place in southern Cali that I miss. The food, spa & rooms are 10/10.

Very nice hotel by the beach & very honest security and receptionist. I lost my wallet somewhere around the hotel, and someone ( with a good heart ) give it to the security ( I think his name is Derek ), we go to the receptionist ( a guy ) he call the security and I got back my wallet. God Bless All Of Them

Lavendar Earl Grey tea in the lobby lounge is fantastic!!! Tasty entrees at Loft and perfect sandwiches at Mosaic, impeccable service and great views.

Beautiful beach side hotel with wonderful views and amenities. Heated pool and great restaurants in house. Lovely hospitality.

Great place for a walk or a relaxing beer or coffee in the lobby lounge. Overlooks the beach. Great for sunset.

Coffee is awful. We've been twice recently for breakfast and both times the coffee was awful.
The crab in the Benedict was fishy. I recommend the Canadian bacon Benedict, instead.
Parking is a ridiculous $25.

The Montage is like all the others, very amazing service, rooms, food, etc. There is always piano playing in the lobby, the staff is better than than any other hotel by far, and the views of the ocean are unbeatable.
Waking up in the morning to the ocean is the best. Although a lot of people come it doesn't feel crowded. There is great closet space, an amazing tub and well kept the days you stay.
There are stairs down to the beach area with a space to clean your feet off. There is also a store across the street from the Montage if you are interested in grabbing some food and having a picnic in the sand.
Whether you have dinner in the restaurant or in your room with an unbeatable view the food is amazing.
There is a great walking path right off the hotel as well that follows the coast. Along the way there are places to sit and enjoy the view.
The pool is also a great place to relax. It is very big and never feels crowded. Great service if you are wanting drinks by the pool as well.
Needless to say if you are looking to get away, relax and go to paradise this is with out a doubt the place for you.

The best restaurant views and most incredible service you can find in Orange County.

Great beach access. Good for walks along the beach but not necessarily in the sand. Lots to see in the tide pools and rocks. Dogs allowed on leash during off season per LB rules.

This place ya always been a favorite but it s becoming unreasonably expensive. Even since it changed ownership, it s not worth the money in my humble opinion. Service and location are great, but way overpriced

The staff at the Montage is always extremely courteous and responsive. The grounds and facilities are kept immaculate. Architecturally, the hotel and landscape are designed perfectly to provide guests with the best views and access to the natural splendor of the California coastline.

It's tough to beat this hotel. The rooms are top notch (and there is a massive variety in rooms, everything from singles inside the hotel itself, to private suites and bungalows on the fields). The pool is incredible, service impeccable, and the lounge and restaurants stellar. Be sure to head to the lounge at some point during your stay to listen to the lovely piano playing and soak in the gorgeous view of the Pacific. Top notch.

Pro tip - if you're visiting and not staying at the hotel (which I recommend you do if you happen to be in the area and aren't staying over night!), parking can be tough. Instead of paying to valet, or trying to park in the tiny lot just south of the hotel, cross the street and park on the streets heading West. Much easier and worth the 2 minute walk (with views.)

The hotel is excellent ... and worth visiting and sitting in the lobby and on the pool
