Also their idea of a successful deliverable in IT project management apparently includes forcing all users to re-register.

I change my direct deposit to reflect a financial institution that is operating in this decade.

Called and went into the branch the same lady who I talked to in person and over the phone told me to call my bank to see if they see it which I did they said they didn t see it. I called back this morning and asked to speak to a manager no answer. So basically the bank got a free 500 dollars

I have been very happy with their service. I have financed two cars and have received outstanding service and better rates than other credit unions or banks that give lower rates for short periods only. Mobility Credit Union does better and I am very happy with my experience.

My mother (who s been a member of Mobility Credit Union for 28 years) and I went to the Credit Union to to retrieve several bonds from our safe deposit box. We asked for the teller to assist in assessing the value of the bonds. The teller told us it couldn t be done. This was strange because my mother had this done a month prior by a different teller at this same credit union. The teller said I don t know who you spoke to, but it can t be done .

A second teller said I don t know how to do it but I will find out. She returned and said the person who assisted last time used a website but that person wasn t in the office and she don t know the website.

Then the first teller started to tell me the website to go to and how to navigate it. I found this very strange because she originally said it couldn t be done. My mother asked why she didn t help us when we first asked and she said, and I quote, It was too time consuming and I didn t want to waste my time because your son wasn t sure if he wanted to cash the bonds today. She proceeded to say I have other customers to service. My mother and I turned around to look for these other customers and found the bank was completely empty besides the two other tellers and two other bank staff sitting in their offices. At that point I decided I had seen enough poor customer service and reminded my mother she needs to move her money to a different bank with a much better savings interest rate like Discover Bank. Even though it is an online bank, the customer service is far better than that of Mobility Credit Union.

For the purposes of accountability and providing feedback, the teller that primarily interacted with us was a female with an island accent. I sincerely hope Mobility s management can turn this poor customer service attitude around, since that is the primary reason people still choose to go to brick and mortar credit unions.

I love this Credit Union. Anytime I have an issue I bring it to them and we quickly resolve it. They are the best help and all of the staff is really nice. I recently moved all of my loans to this credit union and it has been the best decision I have made.

I ve been coming here monthly to make my payment and have never been treated like a I did today. Worst customer service experience ever!! She didn t give me a name but the young lady who took my payment today seemed like she doesn t want to be at work. When asked a question she would respond with an attitude and gave me the wrong response. I left without asking for more information on a personal loan like I intended to. Teller ID # 1253

Here a Mobility CU, I have never had a bad experience. The banking is flawless and hassle free with great staff and understanding clerks. When I applied for an auto loan it was one of the most seamless processes I ever experienced. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Worst Credit Union ever!

Worst Credit Union ever!
My husband financed his vehicle through Mobility Credit Union. Two months later, another driver recklessly and without paying attention, pulled out off a side road and collided with my husband. The vehicle was totaled. We only made two payments at this point (for April and May of 2019). Our next payment was due June 15th and their latest letter dated July 22nd, stated the last payment was made June 18th, this is most likely the check our insurance company sent for $18,000.00, which should've covered several monthly payments. We also filed a claim with the GAP company (kids, never buy a vehicle without GAP insurance) and we are waiting for them to process the claim and pay off our loan.
By July 22, which even in the worst case scenario should only be 7 days after the next due date, we received multiple letters from this Credit Union. First "Past Due" notice, 2nd "Past Due" notice, FINAL "Past Due" notice, 3 separate demands for insurance and a 4th demand for insurance threatening to charge us a ridiculous amount for not having insurance on the vehicle, plus a fee because they will purchase the insurance for us.
My husband called them numerous times letting them know it's impossible to purchase insurance for a total loss vehicle that we don't even own any longer. He also let them know the GAP company is currently processing the claim and a check will be mailed to the Credit Union once the claim is completed and closed by the GAP company. He was told every time that they "will notate the account" and not worry about the letter he just received. These letters arrive every other day!!! He calls every other day and the agent has "no record" of him calling before. They were quick to report to the credit bureaus and damage his credit, even after their agent admitted that the letters were unreasonable and contained impossible demands.
Now lets say, for the sake of argument, that even though they received a "nice" check, they still require us to make regular monthly payments. In our case, I believe, they should've made an exception, because we did in fact purchase GAP insurance which will cover the remaining balance and they were aware of this, even if they miss that detail, they were informed about it multiple times over the phone. I would still incline to try to understand them, maybe their policy doesn't allow any exceptions, but they could've applied they amount received to at least 2 monthly payments to allow processing time for the GAP company. Even if this is all "impossible", the frequency of the demand letters is ridiculously unreasonable. Also, the demand for insurance on a total loss vehicle and them threatening to fine us and purchase insurance for this vehicle themselves is something I cannot comprehend, no matter how hard I try and how I look at it.
Everything that happened was out of our control. The collision was no fault of my husband, the insurance and and GAP insurance companies processing time is something we can't control and the fact that it's impossible to purchase new insurance for a totaled vehicle that we no longer own is just how things work, there isn't anything we could do about it.
In any case, if you listen to reason, you will avoid this credit union at all cost and save yourself the headache and trouble that we have to go through. Learn from our mistake and never finance your vehicle through Mobility Credit Union!

We applied for an auto refinance with Mobility CU in September, 2020. We have been with them for a long time and we always come back to them for any loan needs. Every time we do, we receive excellent service, highly professional staff whose goal is to make the application process, stress free. Celeste Emeott, represents the best for serving Mobility's client.

I needed a quick turnaround on the loan preapproval so I wouldn t miss out on the car I wanted and Gage delivered and exceeded my expectations. Have always had issues with their app and website....

Have always had issues with their app and website. Keep being told my account has been unlocked but still unable to log into it to make a payment. Have to call in everytime to pay, and been doing it for over a year. Each time I get the pleasure of a $7.00 convenience fee. I did the math when my loan is paid off I will have paid $330 in convenience fees alone for something that is not a convenience at all. Won't be using ever again and would never recommend.

If I could leave a - a star I would. Horrible place to do business. NEVER AGAIN!!!
I leased a truck through D&M. This pos credit union was automatic debit my account and I also was paying every month also. Approximately 1600 a month for a truck that will never be mine. It s a simple lease. When I discovered the $14,000.00. Mistake. I called they gave me this stupid story about it s a credit union and it was on the books for last year the best they could do is no payment for a Year. I find that hard to believe. I couldn t recommend this place for anything. D&M did everything possible to get my $14,000.00 over payment back to me with no help from the credit union so I m stuck with a truck for another year that I really don t want or need. BEWARE NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. No need to reply or give a frivolous excuse or apology is not needed. Just give me my money it s a simple request! All of it at one time.

I kept banking with Mobility after they closed all...

I kept banking with Mobility after they closed all the locations in my city. My new debit card seemed to have gotten lost in the mail, so I called and requested a new one. I was told it was on the way, but that one never got sent out either. I did eventually get a new one, but it should be automatic. It shouldn t take me three calls.

I called to alert them of upcoming European travel. I was told everything was fine. A week later, the DAY before my trip, they called me and told me that my debit card would not work in the countries I was visiting. These were developed countries. No valid reason was given why. It really stressed me out before my trip and I STILL don t understand why the first person said it was fine when it wasn t. I would have been able to deal with it if I had had more time and the first person had done their job correctly.

After these issues, I decided to move the funds in my IRA (which was underperforming compared to my other one anyway.) They made it as difficult as possible for me to do so. Thank god I had an actual bank that was willing to help me get a seal that I needed, because these people were not going to help at all.

We love this bank, the service, the people, & ever...

We love this bank, the service, the people, & everything about it. We have tried many different products they offer & even some they created specifically for us. The bank is very personable, the manager, Vice President, even executive Vice President would be available if you needed them! Celeste is incredible she works extremely fast & in her busy life she still maintains the ability to set reminders for us. Her work is quick & organized we never have to call twice. It s hard to try new banks especially where you deposit your money but I not only assure you but guarantee you if you open an account here you will move your entire families accounts here! We can t say enough wonderful things about mobility.

I have been a member for 23 years and do all my primary financial banking with Mobility. Recently bought a new car and Linda quickly got my paperwork done and processed. I love that I can do all my business without having to go to a branch. Great service once again and I will continue using Mobility.

I have been a member at Mobility for almost 6 years and I have always had a great experience when working with the Tellers and the Branch Manager. I also re-financed by car loan through Mobility and the Lending Department made the overall process easy and seamless.

Horrible customer service including branch manager Shelley. They did not process a dispute for me pursuant to my rights as a consumer and they are absolutely no help with anything. Had I been with BOA or another big bank they would have taken care of this. Very poor service, if you are looking for additional benefits from a credit union vs a bank do NOT come here as those benefits do not exist

I was looking to find a bank or credit union to refinance my car. A friend referred me to Mobility Credit Union. I worked with Gage. Gage was very attentive, informative and professional. I had a lot of questions and he was very patient with me. I highly recommend Mobility and Gage for your loan needs. Oh and I received a great rate too!

I went into Mobility Credit Union Irving location to open a safety box after I came to know that the local Capital One bank was relocating. The first time I went in a few weeks ago, the banker was very professional. She couldn t open a safety box that day. She politely apologized and informed me that their systems were down. She asked me to come back and check another day.

So, I went again yesterday 9/11/19 around 4 to open an account and a safety box. There were hardly any customers and it was mostly bank staff. The teller looked clueless and uninterested. It almost felt like she did not care at all. She said something about informing 'them' that I am requesting assistance and asked me to take a seat.
I noticed bank staff was beginning to leave for the day one after the other right around 4:15. So after waiting for about 30 mins I went up to the teller and asked if it was going to take much longer. Her response was -'Honestly, the only officer available is working on some loan over the phone and it could take at least more than 30 mins. Why don t you take an appointment for another day?'

Well, did it not occur to you to mention that the moment I walked in or during the time while I was waiting? Have you no respect for other people's time or have you not received adequate training on how to handle customers? Why advertise false timings on google (9AM - 6 PM) when most your staff are gone much before 5? Anyways, I have choice of who I bank with and if you have no respect for my time, I do not think you deserve my business.

I have been banking with Mobility Credit Union since 2007. I must say that all of the staff since 2007 has been great and took care of all my needs. Especially during the last couple of weeks since we got hit by COVID, Mobility Credit Union and especially Gage Hernandez has been fantastic, very responsive inspite of all of the constraints. I would recommend Mobility Credit Union and Gage to anyone who is looking for a new bank and appreciates saving money and receiving great customer service.

I have been banking here since I was about 14 year...

I have been banking here since I was about 14 years old with my mom to oversee my financial learning. EVERY experience has been above and beyond positive. I remember the days the girls would stay late to help me roll and deposit my change from my high school employment at Sonic Drive in. Every time I call, Linda, Brittany in Houston, Nik H., etc. they are/were extremely helpful and informative. Even my recent 1st car loan with Linda Howard was one of the best & least stressful experiences I could have ever ask for. She is someone I am extremely thankful to have met!! Even with the occasional technical issue, they have been very fast and courteous in correcting these problems. I would recommend this institution for EVERYONE!

If you do business with them, be prepared to contact them. You can go online and hit the "contact us" button

Online registration process was finicky, and I am tech savvy. Better to be on the phone with them during this process while you are in front of a computer because I had many issues and had to call repeatedly. Luckily I found that "contact us" fill out form on the page.

I had to call them to get my account number and information. It is not sent to you with any loan information. I got disconnected accidentally on one phone call...the line went dead...perpetually on hold during a transfer.

Set up bill pay or direct deposit money into the savings account and transfer money in order to prevent high fees.

I was upset with the amount of effort it took to get everything set up because it is so simple with other banking institutions.

My advice - get your applications and tech stuff in order so that it is user friendly...even your phone systems. Pay the extra dollar to ensure it is functional.

Stars changed from 1 star to 4 star because of patient, active, and attentive customer service.

Edit: 12/16/2019 - this bank has great customer service. Every question I have ever had has been answered quickly and effectively. I don't regret banking with this credit Union at all.

Horrible customer service they refused to give me change for a $20 bill so that I could make a deposit in the ATM and pushed back when I asked for a manager. I would not recommend having service through this credit union.

I have a 2nd home mortgage with mobility and am surprised at how bad their mobile and online banking is. In order to have auto payments, I had to set it up with my bank to print and mail a check to mobility every month. That should show you how much better other banks are. Also, there is no simple way to pay extra towards principle on a mortgage, and it is impossible to set this up automatically to do it every month. The silver lining is that I am determined to pay this mortgage off as quickly as possible so I no longer have to deal with mobility credit union.

I moved to Dallas 6 months ago and have been seeking a new CU as I use a local CU from Houston. I have made three separate payroll deposits at this branch using the shared branch service and this morning, makes the 3rd time there was a different procedure. Although I have been considering moving my accounts here the inconsistencies with making a deposit are discouraging and I would encourage you to reconsider. I have found your deposit availability is more determined by the type of day and attitude the teller is having.
