We received excellent service from Billy, Service Advisor, when we brought my parents' Dodge Caravan in after breaking down on the freeway. Billy greeted us, even though it was past closing time on a Friday night, ran the codes and let us know when to expect a call back with an update. He used his expertise to track down extended warranty information, which really saved the day! We really appreciated his attentiveness and we fully recommend working with him! Although the check engine light reappeared and we had to bring the car back in, Billy made sure our wait was minimized and now my parents are back on the road, with the problem solved.

This is a follow-up review. I am raising my review from 1 to 4. This is solely due to the customer service represented by Juan Carlos in the Used car department. He helped get my car fixed and relieved my frustrations. I have three kids and I drive them to school and everywhere else I need a car that works especially the brakes. He stepped up and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Below is my initial review. I also mentioned my issues with getting assistance to him. If I ever by another car I would go back to Juan Carlos again because of his customer service.
So this will be a review of my experience dealing with buying a used car from them. Just the facts. 1. we purchased a Mazda CX-5 2016 touring edition. 2. a few days later had an issue 3. tried calling to findout about the 30 day limited warranty on the vehicle. I tried calling the service department at which time I was told we dont service anything other than chrysler Dodge jeep and ram vehicles. then I was transfered to finance and no one ever calls me back. next day I tried calling I get transfered to finance only to get mailbox full. called back again and was sitting there clicking 0 for operator for 30 minutes and no one ever answers the phone. understand this was at 9am thru 9:40 in the morning so they should be open. Im still trying to get information about obtaining help with their 30 day warranty. I will change this if I ever get any assistance from them. I will keep trying.
had a coupon for oil change still charged me full price. also a women that works there was very rude. gave me attitude cause she wanted my vehicle moved up while i was waiting for service inside. looking at taking my service else where.
Best experience in buying a car! Our salesperson Ron was the absolute best. He didn't stop until he got us what we wanted. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone there was great! Thank you very much.
Dodge just gives anyone who was stupid enough (me) to buy one of their cars a jiant middle finger the second you walk into the service senter. you also get the privilege of paying the highest amount possible. While also waiting for 2-3 hours for something as simple as a oil change. I can feel how much they care every second i sit in the waiting room. I might Also add you arnt aloud to schedule a oil change because who would want to be efficient or good at their job
They failed to fully test the alarm that stopped working after the BCM was replaced last spring. Now I will have to bring the vehicle back at a later date.
Quality of service from Allen was very good as he was transparent with the process and accurate on time needed for service. They recently updated their rideshare from the traditional shuttle to using uber/lift which is much more convenient. They used to be pretty good in my previous visits but have improved to really good so I ll be back for my next scheduled service.

To set the picture, we are from Washington. We were starting our drive home today and not 3 miles from our starting point, our van started misfiring. We have two little kids and the thought of being stuck without a place to stay and a car to drive was very daunting.
We looked up local dodge dealerships and this happened to be the closest one to us. We managed to get our van there, white knuckles and all. We got there 45 mins before our scheduled appoinment time but they didn't seem put off by that at all. They greeted us, checked us in and got to diagnosing our vehicle as quickly as possible.
Bill was the main correspondent about our progress and the work being done and he was fantastic. Definitely keep that guy around!! He made sure he checked in regularly and had a sincere understanding for our situation.
We ended up needing a coil replaced and even with a skeleton crew today, they got us taken care within a few hours.
Thank you for being such a blessing and relieving stress in what can be a very frustrating situation!!
Pushiest sales people I've ever dealt with. Horrible. Just relax you bastards. If somebody tells you they are just browsing, back off a bit. If their interested, they'll approach you.
This dealership provides top quality customer care and service. My car was serviced immediately and all issues were identified and addressed. The customer care provided to me by Mario Curiel was excellent! He did a great job informing me of all possible options for my cars repair and made sure the car was thoroughly inspected. I felt my car was in great hands here and I would not hestitate to refer anyone to this service center for their car.
If could give 0 stars, I would. Originally brought the vehicle in for a tire pressure system light, authorized repairs, paid in full, and was told the problem was fixed. As soon as I drove off the lot, light came back on AND now the spare is flat. Turns out the tech didn't seat the bead properly on the spare after installing a new tire pressure sensor. If your technicians cannot mount a tire properly, which is basic stuff, how can I trust that any other repairs are being performed correctly? I've had to bring it back four times for same issue and each time they say its fixed, light comes back on as soon as I leave. Now I have to bring the vehicle back a FIFTH time for the exact same problem with absolutely no apologies or considerations from the service department for how incredibly inconvenient and frustrating this has become. They've taken my money and handed me back a big FU. Horrible, horrible work being here, DO NOT trust these people.
update to my previous post:
After bringing back my vehicle for a FIFTH time, leaving it with their service department for a week, AND being told AGAIN that the vehicle was fixed, the tire pressure system light came back on. Also, one of the original reasons we brought the vehicle in was because of a water leak coming in somewhere at the front of the cab, We were told that cleaning out the drainage system for the sunroof and replacing the windshield would correct this problem. We agreed to both repairs and paid in full. Over the weekend we had a light drizzle and guess what? We still have water dripping in. Better part of a thousand dollars in "repairs" that repaired absolutely nothing. I feel like I've been robbed.
What a great place! If you want to get into a good conversation about real-world and possibly the military, ask for Ray. We got our truck here and a very happy with the service.

[Update] Service director was very helpful in getting me squared away, definitely feel like a valued customer at Rancho Dodge. Out of all the Dodge dealerships in the OC and SD, Rancho has been the most responsive and professional by far.
Mario was great! Went in for an oil change...took us in right away. I had wiper issues and he explained all the details of best case worse case senerio on pricing and kept us informed and in the drivers seat with decision making. Great customer service
I took my '15 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a defective passenger seat belt and to have a recall taking care of. I had already troubleshot the issue with the seat belt prior to taking the Jeep in and pointed it out to the mechanic when I got to the dealership. I asked them to replace the seat belt but later found out the part was back ordered and they could not replace it for 6 weeks (which is fine). After picking up the Jeep after the recall correction, they charged me $70 for troubleshooting the seat belt problem. This was unsatisfactory. I had already troubleshot and pointed out the issue to the mechanic. So, essentially they charged me $70 to tell me the seat belt was on back order and could not be replaced for 6 weeks.
As far as how they handled the recall, it was completed in a promptly manner and the whole process was for the part painless. The gentleman who assisted me was very nice and and displayed great customer service.
My overall experience was "satisfactory" with the recall process but I was totally unsatisfied with how they handled the seat belt situation. I will be taking my Jeep to another location to get the seat belt fixed.

They install alarms to their vehicles to protect them from loss. They then tack that expense on to their customers. Should have been included in the original price. Additionally, the alarm was mounted below my steering column by 2 screws which now permanently damage the spot. They said it was hardwired in and could not be removed, although after looking does not appear to be the case. I will be bringing somewhere else to have the POS alarm removed.
Well, I will start with past experiences with other places. I had places lie to me and say "we'll help you and get you done" only to be avoided like the plague after a credit check. I've been told "We can't finance you because it's a manual transmission". Or "We can't finance you because the vehicle doesn't have enough safety features." Pretty crappy if you ask me. Now to Rancho. Great place. Didn't lie to me. Told me I would need a co signer and I almost gave up except for Joelle (Internet Director) and Anali my sales lady. They told me don't give up, and let Joelle see what she can do. And SHE CAME THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH!!!!!! For the first time since I committed financial suicide, I was not only approved, but approved on my own. I almost cried in the dealership. They introduced me to service and parts people. Fabio the Finance Manager knew I wanted gap and I didn't want all the extras. He got me gap and warranty. Glad I did. Also one of the nicest guys. I even have the texts from Joelle and Anali that were a week before I purchased. And they continue to answer my questions after the purchase. Great staff!! I recommended a few more people go there. From my lady to people I met recently that I know are looking for vehicles. LABOR DAY SPECIALS GOING ON NOW!!!!
We were visiting our son in San Diego and heard a noise from the car. Being on a travel schedule, Luis accommodated us to be scheduled the same day. While we waited the lose caliper needed replacing and shipped from LA. Luis was professional, knowledgeable and very courteous with updates via phone calls along the way. Our vehicle was fixed the next day and 5 stars to Kearny Mesa and Luis for great service.

Billy Amaral has been my go to guy in Service Department for a couple of years now and he has always provided 5 star service.. I feel like I get special attention from him but I believe he is that way with all his customers. I was disappointed to see that the cost of routine oil and filter changes has escalated from the $45 range to over $90. How can a 100% price increase be justified? It is because of Billy that I am giving 5 stars to service.

They sold me a defective tire pressure sensor and then charged me to diagnose the defective part and to replace it. DO NOT BUY PARTS here and install them elsewhere. They will rip you off. Their service department is slow. Made an appointment to have a tire pressure sensor check took them over to hours before they told me that the defective part they sold me was the issue.

From the time to I took my 20016 Jeep Renegade in until I picked it up, the customer service provided was outstanding. I received telephone calls with updates on the work progress. Mario Curiel, service adviser, was knowledgeable about the repair, call back on the vehicle, and with the rental car procedures. The work performed was well done and the Jeep is back running smoothly again. I highly recommend this dealership for future your needs.
I went there yesterday in hopes of finding a new vehicle. I have to say, they have quiet possibly the worst customer service I've experienced. The employees couldn't seem more disinterested in making a sale, or making a customer feel welcome or wanted. However, I think the main caveat of the whole experience was when I told the dealer what I was looking for he said "Good luck with that." Instead of being helpful and looking if they had that vehicle, or if they could get one similar, or help me in anyway i was just blown off. I'd suggest checking out any number of other Jeep dealers in the area than deal with the condescending disinterested staff of this dealership, I don't think they have their customers best interests in mind.
If you understand my frustration please explain why Hector advised me that my parts would be in on Friday and my car ready on Monday? If there was a delay with the parts at the very LEAST I should have received a call advising me of the situation. Which DID NOT happen. I had to call in to the service dept. on my own at the end of the day to be told my car was not ready. This is not acceptable customer service. I have been more than accommodating in this whole situation that began the DAY I purchased this vehicle from your establishment. There has been no empathy given to me at all from the beginning. I am clearly frustrated in this situation and unless I am mistaken you hung up on me yesterday during one of several conversations I had regarding this issue. I am completely disappointed with the way the whole repair service issue has been handled. I did not cause this issue but I am being treated as if I did. Again I can not and would not in good faith refer anyone to your establishment.
Went in for an oil change on my Ram 3500 which I travel all over the country so have been to many Ram dealers for oil changes. The staff was friendly, the oil change was fair price. I was disappointed that for the first time ever at a Ram Dealer they didn't wash my truck. It's a great touch that I have been accustomed to the complimentary wash with an oil change.
I hit a orange cone on the freeway and did some significant damage to the bottom of my Chrysler 200. Troy the service advisor handled my case he was amazing. He was on it and took care of my situation.It took longer than expected (that's what happens when you take thing apart and find more damage.) But all in all, the experience was easy and smooth. I definitely recommend Rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to everyone.

I took my Charger for a factory recall service and it got done in a timely manner as promised, pain free. I was able to make an on-line appointment and was booked the very next day (on a busy Saturday). They called me as soon as it was ready. The Service rep was very professional however, the office seems to be understaffed and very small to accommodate the customers. The line starts just outside the office door because they can only accommodate 2-3 customers at a time (and I have an appointment). I can see that they did the best they could with what they have. I went here because it is the closest dealership in my area. Overall experience was not bad but, it could definitely be better. Thank you.
After an oil change the oil fill cap had not been reinstalled when my jeep was returned to me. After driving around I noticed smoke and opened the hood to find oil blown all over the inside of the engine compartment. The plastic shroud over the engine block had been removed and not reattached also. Been feeding services here since I bought my jeep in 2015 but now I will never return.
The waiting area isn't so professional. Tv doesn't work and some of the younger ladies had trap music playing super loud. One of the ladies that has the corner office was nice enough to help with telling them to turn it down. Billy the rep that helps me all the time never let's me down. I had all four tires placed on the car today. Not sure if one of my rims got scratched; but, I noticed it when I left. All in all... happy.
I purchased a Jeep from you guys in May. I was pressured in putting $500 more then I wanted to down on the Jeep. I was called 3 days later and informed of a mistake during the financing process and that I over paid by $500. I was asked to come down and fill out some paperwork. Instead of putting they money back on check card they took it off the loan amount. I didn't like that option but I just wanted to be done so I agreed. Now a month later I am being asked to come back for a vehicle inspection for the DMV so I can get my plates. So now when I get back from a business trip on Saturday I get to enjoy my 1 day off driving the 40 miles round trip to take care of that. There has been no talk of compensation for my time or gas.
Everyone at this place is very nice and wonderful. Jr was my salesman and he's the best I ever worked with. Carlos was great as was Sarah and rocky. I drove almost 40 miles to see a car and trusted what jr and Carlos said.... it's a 9 out of 10......Wrong!! It was a 10 out of 10!! The customer service here is garbage... my girl bought a new Durango from them back in may and has constantly had to take it in for repairs... it's currently sitting there because the remote start stopped working and they can't figure out why so they keep trying to tell her it didn't come with remote start... they put her in a garbage little jeep thing that she's scared to drive after she spent 55k on a full size SUV. They continue to talk to her like she's an idiot and their only answer about her Durango is no one knows what the issue is are you sure it ever worked or that you even had it. They even tried blaming the window tint. She told them she wanted some sort of compensation for all of her troubles and in return they started harassing her for leaving a bad review... the manager told her to call to clear this up but yet has no answers for her and keeps running her in circles. It's clear why they have so many horrible reviews... I'd stay far far away from this place.
I really like this dealership. However, the wait can be long because I can only come on Saturdays. I guess this shows they are popular but when it takes 3-4 hours (4 many times) for an oil change, I'm not buying that's it's simply being busy. The waiting room is good and wifi tops it all off. But 4 hours is too long. I feel like making an appointment really doesn't benefit me. Now that my purchased oil changes have run out I well be shopping around. I might stay with you, and I might not . Not sure yet.
Rancho surprised me when I came in for an appointment to get a safety recall done. All it needed was a 15 minute software update. At first they wanted all day to complete the update but common sense prevailed and they got the truck in and out in 30 minutes. Billy A. in service was great.

Worst experience I have had with a Jeep dealership. The electronic phone system in my Cherokee was reporting a service screen message. This dealership told me I needed several software updates on it to fix it, which they charged me $140 for. Now it's even worst than before and half the time I start my car now, the electronics system doesn't even turn on altogether. When I told them, they said I now need a completely new phone system and they would talk to their service manager and regional manager to help me get it fixed, but no one has called me back like they promised and it's going on 4 weeks now. I've called 6 times and left messages and tried to email as well. This is what I get for taking my Jeep to you and spending over $800 on other services?! Unbelievable!
Brought vehicle in for service and open recalls Mario was my service advisor which I was pleased with the outstanding service professionalism however upon picking up my vehicle I noticed that the service due light was not reset and the washer fluid light was on?!?! I understand things happen but now I question if the service was even done on my vehicle to add to this factor I also requested a tire rotation it was not done as well!! I will not return to this dealership
Customer service and communication was very good. Only issue is the car wasn't washed. Perhaps Rancho Dodge doesn't provide this courtesy service like so many others do. Repair was completed on the first visit as expected. Turn around time was excessive. Repair estimate was same day or next day. Actual completion took 5 days. Car was returned on the 6th day.
Brett is wonderfully helpful and I love my car! Process for purchasing a car is still too lengthy, I would recommend a more efficient approach than what most dealers employ.
Amazing service!!! Everybody was super friendly and thanks to them I was able to find the car I wanted with all the features I wanted too. They walked me through the process and didn t mind explaining everything I didn t understand!
Had the deal all worked out with an older gentleman George. Loyal Dodge customer here. Then the manager stepped in and expected me to pay $300 more a month than discussed!! Unbelievable. This is how they treat our troops! Judged because I look young.

"NEGATIVE FIVE STARS" I have a 2015 jeep Rubicon that I bought second hand with 2500 miles on it I took to Rancho to have a lift kit put on which I purchased from there parts department to which they did a adequate job installing after picking it up I installed 35 inch tires which the mopar ads say are Ideal for this lift and they would be but the rub on the drivers side because the rear differential is not centered which I told them I would take care of but for the real problem I tried to get my Brand NEW jeep with 3500 (three thousand five hundred mile on it) smog ed and it won't pass smog I took it back and after having it a half day they told me it had to much gas it and that the monitor would not set I am in the car business and was a where of a recall on the 2015 JK wranglers for the same problem my jeep is having they said they all ready did the update and to drive it till the gas tank is a 1/4 and they would try again I told them that was ridiculous if they wanted to take gas out of it and try it go for it they said they would ask there TEC and get back with me after not hearing for a whole day I finally got a hold of Dennis in the parts department and he got hold of the service writer that than called me and said they were to busy to work on my jeep and they can't make there TEC do if if he dose not want to WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE. Get a hold of the Jeep engineers and lets get if fixed suppose to here from them by noon tomorrow see what happens Mike Nowlin
