We had issues with regard to the set up of SiriusX...

We had issues with regard to the set up of SiriusXM in the car. We received a brochure for a one-year free installation. It was not explained to us at the orientation that, the language of the offer notwithstanding, no satellite service was available on the car. We tried to set up the Sirius XM service on our own--unsuccessfully. When, a few days later, we contacted the dealership to inquire about arranging for the service, our questions were dismissed by Fabrizio Reda argumentatively. When we remarked that we had not been told about the need for extra equipment at the orientation, we were told than we had not asked about it. No effort was made to correct the situation and what had been a positive car-buying experience became a negative one. It is unlikely we will return to lease another Mini from this dealership as things stand now.

I live in Florida and purchased a used Volvo from Mini of Fairfield County in Connecticut sight unseen. I was concerned about doing this by phone and over the internet. Everything went smoothly. I was very happy with the customer service provided by Connor Buhler the salesman, the manager Joseph Zappulla, and to all the personnel who handled the out-of-state paperwork.

Great Service team delivering an exceptional experience! I was promptly met and greeted at the door and my car was whisked away to the service bays at once.
By the time I had made my coffee and chatted with the sales team, I was informed that my MINI was safety checked and the service had begun.
My keys were handed back and my car was washed and vacuumed in no time!

Upon arrival your car is disinfected with mist. check in was easy & loaner car was nice & new. I left my vehicle for the day & picked up at the end of the shift, the oil service & scope was done correctly & efficiently. The car was spotless when I arrived & they cleaned the interior nicely as well. This is my 3rd Countryman & I recommend this dealership.

I was very happy with the salesman Anthony Martinez. Very knowledgeable of the car and when out of his way to make sure that I was able to look at the car bring it to my mechanic and test drive it. They also were able to work with me on the pricing to suit my budget. The pickup of the car was perfect no waiting. The car was ready for pickup when promised and they were very professional. I would recommend this salesman and that dealership to anyone.

Nice people, but a bit disappointed at the cost for a timing chain $ 3300...car 7 years old with only 16,000 miles... faithfully serviced 2 times a year... babied! I will appeal to corporate re price. Two independent mechanics said normal mileage for timing chain replacement is 50,000+ miles, not years. But, I only wanted mini service...so that's on me to have conversation with corporate.

Also, disappointed that they left me with less than 1/3 of a tank of gas when I picked up car. I brought it in with over half and filled the loaner to full (even though it was down an 1/8 per the service manager). Not good customer service on this one. If I hadn't been late for work I would have addressed this with their manager. He wasn't around and I was late.

This time I got it in the Coral Red color, and it's absolutely beautiful. I am very happy with my new car and Darien Mini Sales department, specifically Fabriezio Reda, is the professional but fun and took great care of me, as usual.

You guys are great but the other thing what was not addressed is "why I can't turn off the radio until I lock the car". I think it's a computer glitch not a model thing. I drove a loaner and I didn't have to lock it to turn off the radio when I turn off the car. Just saying.

I would give this place no stars if I could. This place is terrible... One of the secretaries, Leann, thinks that she can treat customers as second class citizens. "I'm trying to get an appointment to replace a high pressure fuel pump that is still under warranty, my local mechanic said the code for it comes up." Her response when I asked if my wife could receive a loaner, I would have to wait 7-10 days for one, and that was only going to be after they determined it was in fact the high pressure fuel pump. Did I mention it's under warranty? Eventually, after complaining to corporate, it got fixed, but now my wife is having issues when it accelerates (mind you we brought it in because this was the issue). This was suppose to be a follow-up to their service after they messaged us about how everything was. I spoke with Stephen, the service manager, who told me there would be no charge since we just got the car serviced there. When my wife brought it down there (it's about a 45 minute ride), they inform her there is no way to avoid a $200+ diagnostic fee. This after I was told there would be no fee. I don't know what kind of establishment this is, but trust me when I say that corporate will get another call, and I will never buy another Mini, not from this place at least... Did I mention it is still under warranty?

I had 5 items on my list (Battery, Freon for A/C, Brake Fluid Change, Anti Freeze Change, and check Drive By Wire Thottle) and all item we done correctly the first time with text message updates. I had the loaner car for 2 days so no problems with getting around while car was in the shop. Overall, just good service.

My uncle (Joe Cruz) recently purchased a vehicle from the MINI of Fairfield County, and upon leaving the lot he noticed that there was a crack in the windshield. He immediately called the General Sales Manager Joe Zappulla and let him know about the situation. Joe stated that he would get that taken care of immediately. Over the next few days my uncle would drive by the dealership and he noticed that his newly purchased car was still sitting in the same spot and the window had yet to be fixed. My uncle continuously called and left messages for Joe but never received a return call. He finally called the front desk and was told that they had no record of his vehicle being there. The front desk said that they would leave a message for him to call him back. Two hours had passed and Joe had not returned the phone call. My uncle went down to the dealership where he found Joe Z. outside putting license plates on cars, he was greeted with an unruly attitude and was told that he was busy. He told my uncle to come back in 30 minutes, at this point my uncle decided to take his car elsewhere to get it fixed.
Also, two days after purchasing the vehicle my uncle received a notice in mail stating that he had to do emissions on the vehicle. When he purchased the vehicle he paid for the emissions to be done already.
I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this location as it in unorganized and incapable of correcting their own mistakes.

I love my Mini and the service I get at Mini of Fairfield!
Appointments are easy to make and my car is always in tip top shape when I pick it up, including a car wash. If you can't get a loaner while your car is being serviced, you can get a courtesy ride to and from the Mini dealership.

Great dealer experience all around at MINI of Fairfield County. I went in for service Sat 4/9 (helped by Stephen) they opened prompt at 8 am my MINI was checked in & pulled around back. One thing that impresses me the most is the way Sales advisor Fabrizio Reda no matter when I go in he stops what he's doing & walks over to chat a bit & checks in on how I like the MINI & and how everything in general is doing - He is definitely a class act. I can say from other dealers I've dealt with it seems that once they are done with the Sale & you come back into the dealership it's almost like they hide & have no time. Sales, Service & Parts they are great at follow up & follow thru.

Only after relentless hounding will I give feedback: Not happy. First off, plan on taking a half an hour out of your day each time you contact this place. After computerized routing, you then have to go through the human routing routine and, if you happen to be really unlucky, the person assigned to you is off the desk and you have to have faith that he will call you back within a reasonable amount of time or you will end up devoting another half hour again just to check on the status of your car. No one seems happy on the service desk but the mechanics seem to be good because my car is fixed in the end. On a final note, don't promise to return my car washed after the repair because it is a big letdown when you pick it up muddy like it was before.

We had a few hiccups with my insurance provider and they were wonderful in helping me resolve the issues. The car is great, that goes without saying. The people at MINI FC are exceptional.

Greg was very helpful and personable! A couple of criticisms- I had to wait a long time and the car wash was not available at the time my car was serviced. Greg asked that I return after an hour to get a car wash, which I did. Overall, I ended up spending 3 hours at the Mini dealership, but I got to enjoy a couple of cups of coffee!

Liz, was a great help to me as I had to service my car and she was with me every step of the way. she was very helpful with calling to let me know when different issues would arise and very pleasant and understanding.

i have to say that Liz is very customer oriented, very easy to talk to and will stop at nothing to make sure you are satisfied.

i would recommend that anyone going to MIni of fairfield county must ask for Liz and she will definitely make sure that your needs and your cars needs are met.

I had another INCREDIBLE service experience at Mini of Fairfield County! Liz s communication was next level, she kept me in the loop with everything! I even received a video reviewing and explaining my car s inspection! So comprehensive.
As usual, they returned a fully serviced and perfectly CLEANED car to me! My old dealership would wash the outside of my car after servicing but MINI of Fairfield County vacuumed the carpets and wiped down the entire inside! So wonderful!
Of course, since my warranty is up, the price was a bit high but the quality was great! Thank you so much MINI of Fairfield County!

I dropped my car off due to an engine check light....

I dropped my car off due to an engine check light. Was charged 250$ to run a diagnostics and was told I need to replace a part which they wanted 550$ for the part. I found the same part at half price so I replaced it elsewhere. The engine light did not go off.
I called Mini Fairfield again as asked them if they would remove the alert, they said I would have to pay another 250$ to run the diagnostics. I'm not sure when mini became accustomed to squeezing money out of people this seems really wrong. I would expect them to back their claim that this part needed to be swapped and show me that the problem is resolved by running the diagnostic I paid for again.
At no point did they tell me I had to replace the part at the Mini Garage.

I called ahead and came in to look at a 1 owner, low mileage 2011 VW JSW TDI in January 2016. I had been looking for a while, in dealers as well as craigslist. Barbara Reiniger helped me with scheduling a test drive and the sale. She was very nice, polite, sincere, and not at all pushy. This was not the traditional "used car" sale that I was used to! She was very transparent about all details, from pricing to finance details, and was able to give me a her best price (around 3% less than sticker, on an already under-market value vehicle) without any stressful salesmen tactics. The only person who I did not feel happy with was Barbara's manager, who had to approve the price, but we only had to speak to him for 30 seconds. ( he was pushy, this is my best price, take it or leave it, others already lined up to see the car, ec... I dislike traditional pushy car sales people.). Anyway, Barbara gave me a price I was Very happy with, so I decided to purchase. Steve the finance guy helped with those details, and he was also pleasant. I had a check engine light for an 02 sensor about a week later, and they fixed it for free, and gave me a Cooper S to borrow. Kind of a fun experience.

Overall, I would recommend this dealership for its friendly, clean and inviting atmosphere.

I highly recommend you ask for Barbara Reiniger for a stress free and pleasant car buying experience. She rocks.

I have always been skeptical about going to dealerships for service for my cars. I honestly no longer feel this way after the exceptional service and experience I received at Mini of Fairfield. The service advisor, Peter, went above and beyond to help me. It's people like Peter that are not only the face of Mini but also the reason that we come back for the the extraordinary customer service.

Horrible. They leased me a car on the last day of a special on the representation that they would cover any turn-in charges for my current lease (after the Manager himself, Mike, inspected the car). First I started getting calls and bills from BMW, then a collection agency. I was assured every time I contacted the saleswoman Carol Moore that she had spoken to Mike and that he assured her he was going to fix it. Here I am now after almost 18 months getting harassed by a second collection agency. Carol expressed dismay when I informed her and promised to get right on it. That was 10 days ago. Not a single call, email or apology.

The service department at Mini of Fairfield always does a great job. I needed urgent help and John called me at 7 am to let me know that he would help me with the car so that I wouldn't lose any time at work.

This is one of the many cases where they provide excellent service.

Unethical, unprofessional, lied about the condition and value of my car when I asked to trade in my 2011 mini for a newer one. They gave me a list of problems which turned out to be untrue but the worst was them saying my electric requires thousands of dollars however when questioned there mechanic, he stated it s a corroded wire to a light on the rear rim which by the way when checked by my mechanic turned out to be missing a bulb without any corrosion.
Basically, low balling my trade in value.
They deserve zero star rating.

Joy of Sales, Frankie at management, and John at Service, all showed us fast and exceptional service, courtesy and patience, and above all kindness. But most importantly, made the goal of owning a MINI possible.

The place was full of good vibes which is so rare today from the moment we entered, and this couldn't have been for the people here.

Eh... it's nothing special. The overall experience felt like a highway rest stop Burger King. You are just a number, not a human.

If my car wasn't under warranty I wouldn't take it there.

I would definitely recommend not buy a car from them. I was told I couldn't afford the car I wanted. I did however purchase the car I wanted from another dealer.

I delivered my Country(wo)man at 9:30, as scheduled, and was met immediately by the service staff of Mini of FFCounty. The dog and I went for a walk, and as we were returning to the dealer, my car was ready and waiting for us. Perfect timing! This is the 3rd Mini I have owned, and I have never had a bad service experience. The overallall joy of Mini ownership is enhanced by such a professional service department there waiting to take care of customers.

UPDATE: It's been 2 years since I bought my Mini stil in love with the company and my car! Recommend them above Mercedes! They appreciate their customers and work hard to make you happy! Love Love Love my Mini and The excellent Customer Service I receive from MINI of Fairfield. I will never buy another mercedes again. The difference in treatment is night and day!

I dropped my car off on June 10th 8am.

I dropped my car off on June 10th 8am.
Two young ladies at the customer service counter didn't great me nor looked at me for a few minutes, until they finished what they were doing (they didn't have other customers at the time).
I had two bags and a jacket I had to remove from the car and there was no place to put them.
When I was finally noticed, there were no smiles, no apologies, no offer to unload my bags somewhere. I loaded my stuff to an ottoman i found by the window.
Once they were done with the paperwork, they passed me to a service advisor. I finally felt like a person, as he treated me with respect and explained well what the team was going to do/fix in the car. He also called me to follow up and apologized that the service was taking longer than anticipated.
While service advisor was great, the overall experience was less than satisfactory. My previous car was BMW, and when I went to BMW of Darien, I always felt that the team valued me as a customer. The ladies at MINI of Fairfield didn't make me feel this way.
I probably wouldn't be surprised if I got similar treatment at Toyota or Honda... But I expected more from MINI. Is it because MINI is less of a car than BMW?

Unfortunately my wife had a very negative experience at this dealership. My wife had a routine service appointment scheduled and upon arrival wasn't greeted with any sort of polite manner. The dealership didn't have a loaner car available despite one being requested. After trying to discuss with multiple employees at the dealership to no success my wife was left feeling very insecure and was visibly upset when she left the dealership. We had to go to a private mechanic to have our routine service which isn't what we initially wanted.

I took my leased MINI to the Darien location for its annual checkup and oil & filter change this week and it could not have gone more smoothly. I received a text offering to schedule the appointment and arrange for a loaner, the service and loaner were completely free, and when I picked up my car I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had been thoroughly cleaned, inside and out. The staff were all adhering to health safety measures, and everyone that I dealt with was very helpful and pleasant! It was refreshing to be able to cross something off my To Do List without any hiccups, costs, or unpleasantries for once. Highly recommended!

Our sales assocuate, Carol Moore, was outstanding. carol is honest, completely knowledgeable if the models and options available. In 3 days we progressed from tesr drive to ownership. I've had my mini serviced several times at Mini of Fairfield County.
Even though I didn't purchase my Mini Roadster there, they've always treated me like one of the family. Always a nice loaner, when needed, no charge, no hassle. They've provided clear and consistent communication and they always explain what needs to be done and how much it will cost before they proceed with the work. Most recently, I had complex engine and sensor issues on my 2011 Mini and John worked closely with me and kept me in the loop. Great place! Great service! And because of this I just purchased another Mini there last week, where I found the salesman, Ryann Martins to be a knowledgable, well-informed and fabulous sales associate throughout the entire process.

The girl who dreamed of one day having a Mini Coop...

The girl who dreamed of one day having a Mini Cooper Countryman! And so it happened on April 7th 2018. After many years of saving $$$$. I finally bought a beautiful light coffee Mini who I named Charlie . Barbara Reiniger is the super nice sales woman who assisted in obtaining my dream car. All went well and I was sooooo happy. Even Franklin Torres the business manager was very pleasant in finalizing the paperwork. The dealership seem to have it all together. After about three weeks or so I started to play with the many options found in the cockpit. One very important feature is the "Service Requirements" as I navigated the vehicle status I noticed a triangle symbol that denotes service deadline has already passed next to the Engine Oil.I called the service department and spoke to Daniella who was polite, I asked to know when this vehicle would need service? Needless to say, it seem this vehicle although a CPO (certified) last oil change was a year ago!!! Someone in the service department drop the ball and neglected to perform such a vital service. This past Friday 5/4/18 I decided to go back to the dealership which took me over an hour to get there to address this issue in person. Once I arrived I asked to speak with Greg who is the service manager and was told he was unavailable! Honestly, he knew I was there but I think he just didn't want to deal with me. Nevertheless, Daniella made sure I spoke with another service person who I cannot recall his name but will make sure to find out his name so I can thank him for being very attentive and helpful. It made me so sad that this happen. Moral of this true story is ask the right questions, ask to see the records when a car was serviced. I bought this car in good faith believing that a CPO vehicle has been treated with white gloves. I can not rate this dealership a 5 star. Mini of Fairfield facilitated a wonderful experience servicing my Mini Countryman. Very professional and accommodating. I took my car in thinking it needed an oil change and breaks. They could have just done both and charged me, but upon realizing I did not need new breaks yet they called to inform me and did not do unnecessary work. This seems the obvious response, but many other dealerships and mechanics would have simply taken the win and charged me.
Most dealerships also will not provide a loaner vehicle if you did not purchase your car there. Mini of Fairfield is not one of these. They offered the loaner with no questions asked, gave it to me with a full tank of gas and did not charge me for the miles I used. Considering my commute is extensive, this was a big help. They also were more than happy to allow me to bring back the loaner after hours and facilitated me picking up my car while they were closed.
I have rarely had such a nice experience with a dealership. Such a stark contrast to a Rhode Island dealer I went to a few months ago who was not at all accommodating, and tried to sell me unneeded new tires, stating mine were worn, which they clearly were not.
I would recommend Mini of Fairfield's service department to anyone in the area.
