Mini of Fairfield facilitated a wonderful experience servicing my Mini Countryman. Very professional and accommodating. I took my car in thinking it needed an oil change and breaks. They could have just done both and charged me, but upon realizing I did not need new breaks yet they called to inform me and did not do unnecessary work. This seems the obvious response, but many other dealerships and mechanics would have simply taken the win and charged me.
Most dealerships also will not provide a loaner vehicle if you did not purchase your car there. Mini of Fairfield is not one of these. They offered the loaner with no questions asked, gave it to me with a full tank of gas and did not charge me for the miles I used. Considering my commute is extensive, this was a big help. They also were more than happy to allow me to bring back the loaner after hours and facilitated me picking up my car while they were closed.
I have rarely had such a nice experience with a dealership. Such a stark contrast to a Rhode Island dealer I went to a few months ago who was not at all accommodating, and tried to sell me unneeded new tires, stating mine were worn, which they clearly were not.
I would recommend Mini of Fairfield's service department to anyone in the area.
