Everyone is very nice. We found a Certified Pre-Owned car we fell in love with, purchased it, and then got it inspected. It failed. We are dealing with that now and it's a bummer. We also discovered that there was damage to the car that was not disclosed during the shopping phase, pre-purchase.

Having my car serviced at Mini of Fairfield County is always a pleasure. They are always friendly and professional, and take care of you quickly. They always explain things clearly but don't pressure you at all. Getting your car serviced is a chore, but MFC makes it easy!

*READ ENTIRE REVIEW: Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Able to make appointments online for service. Be sure to do a a quick walk-through after service and check the basics. I didn't and the cap for the coolant expansion tank was not screwed back on. Discovered it when I got home. Fortunately I have the supplies to refill lost fluid and check for air in the system.

FOLLOW UP: Car died less than a week later. Immediate symptoms indicated HPFP issue (original diagnosis). Upon having it towed to my local shop, they discovered that the service performed on my fuel filter and sending unit (low pressure side) was done poorly. (See pic for details) The tech that worked on my vehicle at Mini of Fairfield County clearly did not take the time to perform the service properly. I will be contacting the dealer for reimbursement of the initial labor costs involved with the fuel service as well as the repair cost to fix their mistake.

I bought a pre-certified Clubman, the entire team I dealt with were extremely helpful and very easy to work with. I appreciated both the transparency and responsiveness of the sales and business teams. And when I discovered at home the front power adaptor wasn't working the evening I had taken delivery, the next morning the service team took care of the issue right away. This is my 1st MINI and the 7th car I've purchased over the years, by far this is the best dealership I've bought from. Highly recommend.

I could not be happier with my experience with mini of Fairfield I found one of their used vehicles on cargurus and from the moment I walked in I was treated with the upmost respect from my sales associate Ryann. I was on the search for a Jeep Wrangler that was fairly priced in good condition for several years and they definitely delivered. They gave me a very fair deal on my trade in and both my sales associate and the managers worked hard to make sure I had a good experience.

This dealership is a great place to buy a car. No game placing, bait and switch, pressure sales for extended warranties. Great people, great prices, quality inventory and knowledgable staff. I went in to look and I bought a car 1.5 hours later. Credit check results back in 10 minutes with an interest rate that I could not obtain on my own. Better prices than Carwanna, CarWhoruu...Connor (sales) was great. Joy was honest and very helpful. She was instrumental in our process and decision To make this our preferred dealership. Thank you guys.

I shopped for weeks looking for the right deal on the right pre owned mini and then stopped in at Mini of Fairfield County just because I was working close by. I told Antonio what I was looking for and what I wanted to spend and he took it from there,so easy. If you want a Mini,go where the Mini's are.

Very well designed location. I was greeted in the drive and directed to the advisor. Paperwork was processed and services were completed quickly. The manager Vincent Robustello personally met with me and I was amazed by his product knowledge and cordial manner. First rate management and and great advisors, can t ask for more

Even during these tough times everyone, especially Joe, was extremely helpful and understanding. Great dealership. They are quick to respond, very clear when answering all questions and provided an overall fantastic experience. I now have my new car and am extremely happy with the whole process.

Literally the WORST customer service ever. Called in the morning to inquire about a Mini Cooper convertible was told it was still available. Started working on financing, shipping estimates and 8 minutes later I got an email saying the car just sold. SERIOUSLY? The car just miraculously sold that quick. Fabrizio not only gave me the run around about and refused to take my calls and voiced that the sales manager was not in office at 11am on a Thursday morning. I finally got through to the sales manager who was insincere and expressed the car had sold the night before. Not sure how by 11am a sales associate wasn't aware of a car selling the night prior. Horrible business. Horrible interactions. Absolutely can't speak worse about this dealership.

Excellent customer service. My repairs took longer than initially anticipated but the service department did everything possible to endure I had a loaner. They kept me informed every step of the way too. My car runs so much better now. Thank you!

The team at Mini Darien squeezed us in this past Saturday to complete a service that another dealer failed to complete. They went above and beyond to make sure the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. The follow up, service, and extra care were outstanding. We ve always been very happy with the sales (bought 2 minis here) and service teams at Mini of Fairfield. From now on, we will not go anywhere else for our Mini. Thank you so much!

Going on MINI #6! I love the attention this dealer gives me, specifically, Fabrizio Reda. He's helped me lease all my minis and he's been my "go to" guy since my first Mini.

The staff at Mini of Fairfield are not only knowledgeable but compassionate and willing to work with you to accommodate the particulars of your situation. I recently noticed a buzzing sound coming from only one speaker in my MINI's sound system. The service department at MINI of Fairfield County worked long and hard until they were certain the problem was identified and rectified. I was kept informed through the entire process and was provided with a loaner car so I was not at all inconvenienced.

Thanks to MOFC Service!

Recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealership...which included trading in my older mini, financing the new one etc. The entire transaction was seamless! The salesperson I dealt with was Joy abs she was a joy to deal with! Everything was completed and delivered as promised, when promised. I will confidently continue to use this dealership for my ongoing car maintenance needs as well!

Had another great experience with Service Department at this dealership. Had a bit of an emergency with a blown tire and they were great at getting us in and out and to a meeting we had first thing in the morning. Really appreciate everything they try to do and they are always fair and helpful in walking through everything on the service ticket. Want to say a special thank you to Peter for his effort and we will be back soon for scheduled maintenance.

I leased a Mini ClubMan which I enjoyed. When I turned the Clubman in they charged me $950. I was expecting $350 which was in the agreement. The lease was for 3 years and 30,000 miles. I only had put 12,500 miles on the car yet they charge me a fee because the tread on the tires was below their turn in figure. If you remain a Mini client they will probably forgive all of the minor things they come up with. If u think you might be a one time lease budget an extra grand in your financial planning.

I was generally pleased with my purchase....however I feel that I was made to buy an option that I did not want through a misleading description of that option. A "theft deterrent" turned out to be etching the window glass, something that I did not want for $199.
Also I felt rushed signing a plethora of forms with little explanation and less time between documents. I suppose this is par for car dealerships these days...adequate, but not great.

One of the easiest new car transactions I have ever had. Joy Teodosio was awesome to deal with, and made everything easy, and that makes the entire transaction stress free. I had gone to Joy three years ago, but leased another vehicle at the last minute. Because Joy seemed so easy to work with, I told her I would come back if I ever was interested in a Mini again, so I did, and am very glad I did. I love the car, and it is so fun to drive. Have to teach myself that it is fats also. So happy with my experience and if you're thinking about getting a Mini, call Joy!

The staff at MINI of Fairfield are friendly, professional and personable. They continue to take good care of our two MC's; the loaners are always in excellent condition and they do a very good job cleaning our cars after servicing them.

I had by far the worst customer service experience...

I had by far the worst customer service experience of my life at this place.
I have a Mini Cooper S, which I love, but the clutch went after 18,000 miles but just outside the warranty period. I have driven a manual (stick) for my entire life as has my wife and have never had a clutch go, let alone at 18,000 miles. The Service Rep at the dealer recommended I purchase a service contract as this would cover the clutch but not the fly wheel, I thanked the rep but said I didn't really want a service contract for a car that has done 18,000 miles in 4 years. After many weeks of back and forth, Mini called me to say they would cover the cost of the parts.
When I went to collect the car, I was asked to pay for the Service Contract. I explained that I don't want a service contract and Mini were paying for the repair. I was then told I needed to talk to the Service Manager who wasn't there; the Service Rep was extremely polite and professional.
When the Service Manager, Stephan N. Parrett, returned, he sat in his office pointedly ignoring me for an hour. When he finally came out, he was immediately extremely aggressive and said that I had to pay the maintenance contract as I had agreed it. I asked him to show me any evidence that I had done so as I clearly hadn't. He asked the Service Rep to show him my credit card details; which he obviously didn't have. Mr. Parrett then said he had to call Mini and returned to his office.
When he returned, he said that he had spoken to four people at Mini, that there was nothing they could do and again told me I had to pay for the Service Contract. I called my Rep at Mini who said that no one had called hi, there was nothing he could, I had a Service Contract and Mini had agreed to pay for the flywheel which was what had been requested of them. I explained the situation, he told me that there was nothing he could do as Mini's system showed a service contract and there was no way I could even open a request for a new clutch because of this.
I explained to Mr. Parrett that the Mini rep had not been called and asked him how we called rectify the situation, the reasons that I had no interest in a service contract and what our next steps should be. He replied that my only options were to pay $4.5K for the new clutch, a number I had never heard until this point or pay the mtce contract. I replied that I didn't like either option.
At this point, Mr. Parrett became extremely aggressive, seize my keys and threatened to take a legal lien on my car so that I couldn't have it until I paid what he asked. Given no further option, I paid the Service Contract fee, wrote UNDER DURESS on the contract and put a line through the signature column. Mr. Parrett simply turned his back on me, returned to his office and closed the door leaving me with the extremely embarrassed Service Rep.
I cannot recommend dealing with Mr. Parrett under any circumstances, he is highly unprofessional and unsuited to his job.
My experiences with Mini of Fairfield County had been excellent to this point but they chose to employ this individual, I also cannot recommend a car where the clutch failing after a lightly driven 18,000 miles is acceptable.
I am exploring my options at this stage.

I had a great experience here at Mini of Fairfield County especially with the help of Fabrizio Reda. What a wonderful car salesman, he knows exactly how to interact with people making them feel like at home as well as more than just a paying customer. I walked out of the dealership satisfied and ready for my new mini to arrive! Kudos to you Fabrizio!

It is a top notch team! The only problem I have with my Mini convertible 2020 is the battery. It indicated "low battery" when there is only 3500 miles on the car. They did replace the battery, but I will keep vigilant that it is not a further issue. I must say, however, I do love the car!

There is nothing not to love about my overall experience at MINI of Fairfield County. I was lucky enough to have Barbara Reiniger as my sales person, who impressed me with her knowledge and her sincere desire to ensure that I was happy with my choice of car. Barbara is an exceptional sales person, and I look forward to my future visits at this dealership.

When my wife and I entered no one came to greet us. We walked to several vehicles before anyone even spoke to us. I'm not sure what the criteria is for new customers but that's not the way to get my business. If this is how I'm treated looking them what happens after you get my money?
We're going to look elsewhere.

Carol, Franklin and Joe were amazing. They are the most genuine people in the business. They made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. I am so glad I met them and took the time to visit the dealership. I would totally recommend them to anyone I know. I love my new car and hope it gives me years of great use. Thank you to them again.

Recently purchased a car from Mini Fairfield and the process could not have been easier. My salesperson was Carol and she was fantastic to deal with. Overall a really positive car buying experience!

I took a newly purchased 2011 Countryman in for evaluation and to see if there was a sunroof drain leak. Car was there for most of a day. No leak was found. Also they were unable to find a short in the cigarette lighter circuit.
I was issued a reasonable bill with a lot of suggestions for further work, most of which was deemed unnecessary by a local MINI service center--new tires with alignment and balancing, oil solenoid, strut mounts, further investigation of lighter issue.
Seemed to be a bit of upwelling, $3,000 estimate.
Also, the MINI garage near me determined that the car had likely been in a flood; repainting of steering column, rust line in trunk. These were not noted in Darien even though the trunk was disassembled to see what the issue was with the stereo amp.
Still waiting to hear back about a possible factory authorized warranty extension--car has less than five thousand miles.

This was not a good experience. And after a couple of months, a few loaner cars, I was DONE. Too many things went wrong in trying to fix my car. I ended up leaving this morning, at 7:25AM with the check-engine light on in my car, after I asked for the car to be serviced. I got a call yesterday - Your car is ready to go! All good!! A real lack of attention to detail. NOT a quality mini experience. I would NOT recommend servicing your car here...especially if you have no realtionship with the dealer. It may be different if you bought your car there. I would strongly advise seeking service elsewhere.

I would just like to say i had the most amazing experience that a person could have at Mini of Faifield County.

My salesperson was named Connor. I live in Va and the car I wanted was in CT. Every dealership need 10 Connor's . From beginning to end he was very polite, professional, honest about what he could do for me and very knowledgeable .

Connor went above and beyond to make sure everything was done accordingly before I flew out. He made me feel completely comfortable being that I was traveling alone and had never been to CT.

The finance manager was equally as amazing . She
explained everything up front no surprises no hidden fees. I felt like I knew her my whole life we laughed and talked.

If you are looking an amazing car and to do business with amazing people you need to contact Mini of Faifield County.

Be very careful. I went to have two rear lights fixed. Was told I needed a new 'board '($200+!?).
A) the rear side marker light doesnt run on a board, and B) the bulb that sits on 'the board' simply needed replacement. Fixed both myself in 30 mins / $10.
Rude when I questioned their diagnosis.

Today was the last day I ever step foot in Mini of Fairfield County. I do NOT recommend getting any type of service done here or purchasing your Mini here.
Every time I have ever gone in to get work on my car I have been taken advantage of, lied to and conned in to unnecessary services. The customer service here is HORRENDOUS. Their manager Lauren Brooks should be ashamed of herself. She treated me as if I was not a paying, loyal customer and she could care less about the issues I was having and even while I was standing in her office, she did not address them. She brushed me off instead.
Today I was ultimately told I needed 6 services done on my mini when i went in for an oil change. When i signed in, I was told 3 of them. An hour after i committed to 2 out of 3, they came back with 3 other big services and said they were crucial to my car and i could get into an accident leaving without getting them fixed. So i committed to one of them. This was exaggerated to me and not factual, as moments later I went into the service department and had them show me everything they said was wrong. Some of these parts wouldn t have needed to be changed for another 2+ years. I should have been presented with ALL of this information before my car was ever touched, so i could prioritize anything that needed to be done. I would have passed on a service i committed to when i got there and perhaps chosen to do something else instead. I am disgusted.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE. You will regret it. No one should go into a dealership to have work done on their car and not have a clear outline of what work is being done, what work is necessary to their vehicle in priority order, or how much anything will cost.

Great experience purchasing a new car at this extremely friendly and professional dealership. Joe Zappulla took care of all of our auto needs, delivered a highly sought after model and made the experience safe, easy and positive.

My Girlfriends family recently visited us from Bos...

My Girlfriends family recently visited us from Boston MA and we noticed severe damage to one of her front tires on Friday July 3rd. I recommended she called Mini of Fairfield. The recovery truck showed up around 4.30 on Friday July 3rd. We totally understand it was Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend so she was comfortable of not needing her car all weekend. She was assigned a service advisor called Peter who from the onset could not provide her a clear timeline of when the one tire would be replaced so she could collect her Mini and drive back to Boston. She spoke to her advisor on Monday morning and he informed her the tire was here and that they would get to her car at some point today before they close at 6pm. She asked for an indication of time so she could plan her trip back to Boston as she had to work Tuesday morning. Peter's response was: " it would be done before 6pm", suggesting she plan on 6pm. In addition to this appalling service he tried to up sell her a bunch of other work to her car that he in his wisdom decided she needed! I saw no relevance to his time off last week, and . This conversation that i overheard was at 1pm.

I then called and asked to speak to her advisor. I was very polite and he gave me the same answer - we close at 6pm. I explained to him it is one tire and she has to travel back to Boston. His response was "i was off work all last week it will be done by 6pm". I saw no relevance to his time off last week, and subsequently i called back and asked to speak to his manager (the service manager i am assuming). I received the same answer from Peter's manager..."the tire will be changed by 6pm"

I feel responsible for recommending she take her car to Mini of Fairfield. I am embarrassed and will never recommend anyone send the vehicle for any service here or even to buy a car from Mini of Fairfield. I sincerely hope the GM of this dealership is informed of this poor customer service from his service department. Thanks to this poor customer service Mrs. Lee did not arrive home back in Boston until 9pm Monday night. I wish i had of recommended she go to Town Fair tire. Her car would of been ready Saturday !

I have always had a pleasant experience dealing with John and the service team at MINI of Fairfield County. They are courteous, prompt and go out of their way to be accommodating. I own my MINI and will continue to service there even after my free service is over.

Not a friend to a true ralliest; with modification...

Not a friend to a true ralliest; with modifications or without warranty. This by no means mean they wont work on your mini but simple there are other dealers who are more familiar and accepting of modifications or those without warranty. The techs, and sales people are incredibly friendly, helpful and overall great people, who know what they are doing. However, my issues lie with one of the service advisors.

There is also one service managers Scott in particular who, is very two faced, he'll seem helpful but will ridicule you when your gone, and my no means a MINI enthusiast. He also will take advantage of your lesser knowledge, which I have caught him in the act doing numerous times. Overall, it makes my visit less pleasant.

I purchase a 2016 Countryman from this Dealership. The sales rep the sales rep was fantastic throughout the sales process. After driving the car from the dealership home I noticed a giant gash in the paint in the rear bumper. The sales rep told me there was nothing that could be done and that is factored into the cost of a CPO. A week into owning the car I realized it it had an ant infestation(almost carpenter ant size). I spoke with the dealership in NY I normally use and the service tech informed me the car was probably infested with them when I purchased it. Two weeks of vacuuming cleaning and trying bait traps I finally contacted the dealership management to which they told me "they have never heard of such a thing" and told me to "bomb" my car. Bombing could damage the interior the exterior and fill my car with harmful chemicals for years. They mailed me an after market paint for my car. Very disappointed.

This is by far the WORST place for service. A year ago I purchased a used Mini Cooper clubman s 2013. A month after purchase the clutch failed - they refused to fix it under warranty even though car was certified. I argued with them for two weeks. So they talked me into purchasing an extended warranty which they would fix the clutch and they said it would cover for 5 years 100k for " everything "
Apparently this is not so as the same guy - Peter - who sold me the warranty and swore it covered the. Brakes and much more.....
I just went for service- braking caused car to shake and window was not going up properly-
I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR BOTH
500 brakes
30 window
Reason it was not covered
they told me the window was not covered because it was "programming " and
The the brakes were not covered due to the fact the rust was the problem
