WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Cannot be called back. No emails. Was told to pay out of pocket. My drive belt snapped with 503 miles on a brand new 19 Heritage Classic. I was told that was not covered in my unlimited 2 year warranty. Belts that are rated for 100,000 miles. Very poor Customer service. Could not ever get a call back. Was promised by Alex to get a call back was didn't get it. They will lie to you as well! NEVER BUY HARLEY DAVIDSON!!! PRODUCTS ARE NOW TRASH!

I purchased a 2011 trike a year ago and must say I am very disappointed that I can not ride it like I would like to. The first day I rode it we went 200 hundred miles enjoying the views however when we arrived back home it was very upsetting to find that it burned my leg so bad that I had blisters on my leg just from the heat that came off the pipes. When I went to the doctor I was told that it was third degree burns and was on medication for three weeks, after returning to the doctor it left a really bad scar on my leg. I have tried long socks, long pants, leather boots and chaps however it still burns my leg. Needless to say I am paying for a bike that I very seldom ride because of the extreme heat from the pipes.

Very disappointed

I would not recommend this bike to anyone else.

Heritage, nostalgia, Americana; this is where it all started. Most people can't get in this highly secure corporate office (it's worthwhile if you can), but fans come anyway. A selfie in front of the building and quick jaunt through the lobby are a rite of passage. Take a tour of the factory in Menomonee Falls and visit the museum instead, if you're looking for the true Milwaukee Harley experience.

I don't like being lied to. You want to build bikes over seas then ok. But to blame tarriffs after you get caught is flat out wrong. You just lost another customer. This is how free capital works. Guess I'll go buy an Indian

After having my bike in and out of shop for leaks and noise coming from engine that was never found on a 2016 bike with less than 9000 miles I am very disappointed with the way Harley Davidson and the dealership I bought the bike from handled the situation I wouldn t recommend Harley Davidson to anybody especially when they can treat somebody who s been in the Harley Davidson family for many years shame on you Harley Davidson and especially the CEO of Harley Davison for having people treat People Who keep food on your table Like this

In August of this year my husband and I purchased ...

In August of this year my husband and I purchased a 2012 Road King from Queen City Harley in Fairfield, Ohio. To say the least, since that time the entire experience has been a complete customer service nightmare. Because the bike we purchased was used, there were some things that needed to be addressed and that was a part of the deal in purchasing the bike. However, simply getting their customer service department to coordinate a time and day to get the bike in for service was a joke. There is no communication in that department what-so-ever, we made several calls and never received the same answer twice. Finally the bike went in for service only for them to say there was nothing wrong with it AND it came back to us with a cracked mirror.
After weeks of trying to get a new service date, the bike went back in and they found extensive transmission issues, that amounted to nearly 3000 in repairs. When we got the bike back this time, there was a dent in the front fender and a cover that goes by the bike lock was missing. My husband rode the bike off the lot for less than 30 minutes and it was worse than when we dropped it off. Seems they forgot to tighten something up during the process. We dropped it back off during which time they took it upon themselves to take the fender off and send it out to be fixed, without so much as telling us what they were doing. When I questioned them about it, I felt like I was being patronized and my concerns were not being taken seriously.
This is just the basics of it, I could have elaborated more. I would like to note that they did replace the mirror, the cover was found and they are fixing the fender, but who wants to worry about what condition their bike will be in when they pick it up after service?
I have seen similar reviews regarding this dealership and I took them with a grain of salt. There is no way to please everyone or get everything right all of the time. But with that being said, there are customer service basics that every company should follow in the least. And Queen City lacks in all areas.
If we had it to do all over again finish that sentence.

Harley-Davidson of Hollywood

Harley-Davidson of Hollywood
Dear Sir or Madam,
my concern relates to the inhuman behavior of the owner/ manager white hair looking man insulting his employees heinously in front of the customers. I don t know whether Harley-Davidson cares about what happens in their representative stores but you definitely should, even if only reading the yelp reviews about this guy and his macho behavior.
Wednesday, March 2, 2016 between 6-7pm.
My husband entered this store in order to buy new gloves and was welcomed by a young and very friendly employee. The guy showed him different pairs of gloves, when all of a sudden, a white hair looking monster entered the store from behind and started yelling at this guy, entitling him as a bummer, while this person really did a very good and competent job. On the top of that 5 other potential customers entered and this horrible person called for his employee to serve these people. The employee looked very embarrassed as he still was busy with my husband. The owner/manager continued yelling at this poor guy telling him that he himself would take care of my husband. Unsurprisingly my husband chucked the gloves on the counter accusing the guy of mistreating his employee and left before this poor jerk could answer whatever.
While reading the yelp reviews I have to ascertain that this incident wasn t a particular case.
My concern is supposed to be an incitation for Harley-Davidson, as with such representatives the company will compromise its reputation for sure.
Sincerely,
Marie Elter

I love the level of customer service found in most Harley Dealerships. Very attentive. I've never bought a bike at my local shop (moved here AFTER I bought my Harley) and yet the sales guy greets me by name every time I go in. You can spend a whole afternoon in the store and they are always willing to go the extra mile.

I reasonally went to Abernathy HD in Union City Tn. Went down 50 mile from where i live took the day off to pick up the parts that i had ordered get there and the dealership said they got the wrong parts i was told i could use tools to install the stuff i get there and they wouldnt let me use basic tools like i was told .. Then i paid for them to install and they said that they had the wrong part that they had to order a different relocator kit because one they said would fit my 2016 dyna lowrider S turns out that they didnt know what they were selling me and i feel that my over all experience was horrible. Not only did i waste my time but wasted money on top of that. I feel the dealership was just trying to make a buck and didn't know what they were selling. I am upset with this and will be finishing this transaction and will take my business else where.

I am very disappointed at the decision made by the executive decision not to have a meeting with MR Trump.
There are thousands of Trump supporters that ride Harley's proudly to show how great America is and you disappointed us all.The snowflakes don't buy Harley's and for you to stoop to their level is plainly degrading not to mention to your employees!

I'm so disappointed with the Brand New Harley Davidson Ultra I purchased... I will never buy another. Ever since the 5000 mile mark the bike has been failing. I try to bring it in for repair but after 3 different Harley dealerships they are NOT able to fix the issue. Now they have BS me around so long the factory warranty has expired. Just last week the engine light has been lit and I can't get an appointment before Sturgis. The oil leaks out all over the saddle bags and ground... it's $35,000.00 down the drain. So sad I won't be attending Sturgis and lost $800.00 for the Campground I reserved.

I went to local Harley Davidson dealer in Panama City Beach FL where I purchased my 2017 Road Glide Special in January of 2017. Today I dropped by there to show a paint defect on the saddle bag latch cover where the paint is rolling back on the latch. I was pretty much told that there wasnt nothing they could do and they would send a pic of the paint rolling back and they might do something about it. But Harley Davidson would not pay 100% to fix the problem. Well here is where I have a problem with this. It would seem to me being I give $40k for this bike not even 3 years ago yet that this shouldn't be happening. So basically I can go kick rocks. Seems to me that HD would fix this and make a happy customer. I am not real happy that NOTHING IS GOING TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS! I have ordered so replacements latch cover that has cost me $70 bucks for something that Harley Davidson doesnt think they should fix. I guess it is what it is. Just not good customer service to me. Harley Davidson wants you to loyal but it's hard when they cant stand behind the product they put out. Especially when its clearly a paint defect.

I traded in my 2015 Low Rider to get a 2016 Street Glide last December (both new). I now have about 2600 miles on the Street Glide. I feel that the Low Rider had a smoother ride. I talked to a few dealer and called Harley Davidson, but the lady told me they will not help me in anyway. The dealers told me the stock shocks have a shorter stroke and aftermarket shocks are one of the first things put on a new bike. Not to happy with spending 2 times more and getting a rougher ride.....

I'm writing you to let you know as a corporation ...

I'm writing you to let you know as a corporation have dropped the ball by closing one of the best dealerships in the Minnesota west metro area! The Delano Crow river dealership has been like family to us out here for 10 plus years. They have schooled a lot of new riders (men and women). Done great benefits to help their surrounding communities. Their sales staff is constantly selling bikes ( I know I get a notification everytime one is sold). They have helped me keep both my bikes running tip top shape ( one of them over 116K) . I personally have been thru several of your dealerships and there is only one I would call HOME, that would be Crow River in Delano. I'm told your decision is final, but I would encourage you to look at the business from a customer level, if they aren't happy you won't have them! My first exposure to Harley dealerships was a bad one. When I bought my 1st ultra and a week later was told by their service manager (whom I wasn't even speaking to) if I wanted a stage kit done I would have to spend real money. I dropped $16.5 K in their store one week before that was said! What did he consider REAL money?.
I've had other dealerships staff treat me like I'm bothering them when I'm the only customer in their area. and these are the dealerships you want to keep open??? Please take the time to look at their Facebook page for some of the comments from customers and to see how many you are affecting by your decision. Please review your desicion for at least the sake of the Harley legacy and what you have left for loyal customers. -Hayseed

Corporate greed strikes again. They decided the little mom and pop style run shops are no good and made them close the doors. Thankfully, there s other brands out there so Harley will never get a dollar from me. I have also gotten my friends and family to boycott Harley and my uncle is now selling his to buy a Triumph instead.

After coming home from another deployment to Afgha...

After coming home from another deployment to Afghanistan, I bought a 2018 Street Glide Special. Ponied up for the Hard Candy Custom Hot Red Flake paint too.
Turns out I should had bought a Chinese bike while I was in Asia.
This bike has been plagued with the transmission fluid transfer issue. I was told from multiple HD dealerships (Dothan, AL; Rapid City, SD; Topeka, KS) that HDMC says the bike is not transferring fluid and that I m servicing the bike improperly. I haven t been able to service the bike on my own since it stays at the dealership so much. If I were, I feel that as a licensed FAA aircraft mechanic with 20 years experience and 30 years riding motorcycles, I might be able figure out how to change my oil. I d also assume that the extensive demands on HD mechanic certifications, they might not screw it up either. After spending $30k on a bike, I d assume I d be purchasing a quality machine and treated well by the people I gave my very, very hard earned money to.
I m certain my problems (even after three years of the new Milwaukee Eight design) are a minority of HDMC s sales but after the treatment from HD regarding their motorcycle s failures, I will never buy another Harley.
I recommend Triumph or Indian if you re considering a new, or used, motorcycle.
I regret my purchase.

Update: 28May2019
I talked to Joe at HDMC two weeks ago. Mentioned that I would like my lemon SGS replaced. He told me he would pass that request to management and I d hear a response by the end of that week.
Last weekend Historic HD in Topeka, KS drilled a hole in my primary for a vent, by direction of HDMC.
Today, after not hearing from HDMC, I called customer service again. Vince told me that the primary vent fixed the problem and the $200 of oil I ve had to purchase just this spring and my ruined Ariat boots and jeans is considered a customer purchase . Didn t even attempt to bribe me with a $20 gift card. Vince also told me HDMC designed the Milwaukee Eight to transfer some fluid and that improper riding techniques would cause too much fluid to transfer .
Seriously!?

I believe I ll head to Indian Motorcycles this weekend.. The 2019 Chieftain Limited is supposed to be pretty nice.

Have been considering a SG-CVO for a bit now and was probably going to get one 1 or 2 years old - then cam the 8. My dealer told me to wait and come ride one during an upcoming demo ride day (they never have their own CVO's to ride) and I may want a new one. So I did, showed up early, signed up and got some lip about the CVO's being booked for most of the rides. Now I know I don't look like the typical Harley guy or a local rich guy poser - but I'm already a HD customer and the dealer knows I'm seriously considering dropping a stack on a bike - but I'm treated like I'm a vagrant begging for tequila $ by the corporate guys visiting with the trailer. The guy tells me they aren't signing up yet for the rides later in the day. So I hang, another guy who looks more 'Harley' asks the same question and the guy thinks it over and then sees me looking at him - and signs me up. Tells me to come back at 2:30. So I show up at 2:10 and he tells me I missed my ride, which he sent out at 2 and then offers to let me ride another bike - one I can get any day at the dealer - not the one I can't and WAS considering buying. I leave - a wasted day - I live 25 minutes from the dealer and went there and back twice! Checking out the Victory bikes now and considering selling my current HD. Oh well, my money is good, I guess I'll just spend it elsewhere.

So I bought a new harley ultra. Everytime it rains the seat soaks up the water like a sponge. Then I get to walk around everytime I ride it for the next week as it drys out. Call harley and was told to deal with it. Lol. 30,000 for a bike that has a defective seat and all they can say is sorry buy a new one. Very disappointed in the way harley davidson corporate offices handles customer complaints. Thanks for nothing .

me and my wife went to miracle mile Harley Davidson and purchased a 2017 soft tail slim in April and from day one , my wife had trouble with the bike shifting and finding neutral took it back 3 times to the dealer only for them to say that they could not find issues with the bike but adjusted the clutch every time we had it there. finally got it back and I am totally disgusted with this bike . I still own a Harley but probably will not purchase another for my wife .I have had Harleys for thirty years and I told my wife to sell her sportster and get the slim. now she keeps telling me we should of gone to indian motorcycles. seriously considering it. Do your self a favor and don't by the slim. very disappointed.

Harley davidson is the religion of world where everyone loves one another no matter where they come from or what they ride.

The Catholic church doesn't have the commitment and following HD does. Why? Because from day 1 NO other company on the history of this planet understand how to value and respect their customers let alone build the greatest and most respected brand in the world.

To say this company is Iconic is simple just an understatement. Best of all, they deserve EVERY cent they earn and then some. Personal thank you to Willy G who took the time to reach and say hi. Yes there really is face to HD and its great to see HD stand the test of time and technology while still remaining true to form. 10 stars-Step it up Google 5 stars is for kids.

Actually, I'm VERY disappointed with the riding academy. As a veteran, I purchased my wife the course with Smokin' Harley-Davidson Winston-Salem NC so that I could buy her a Harley to ride her own instead of with me. The Saturday of the course was very hot with high humidity. My wife has diabetes and the heat and humidity got to her and her sugar level dropped and it all overcame her. She almost dropped the bike and burned her leg. She needed to sit down and re-hydrate and get some carbs in her to bring up her sugar level. As soon as she sat down the instructor told her she was done. She tried to explain but with no recourse. She called the main Harley-Davidson number at corporate, they agreed there should have been some accommodation to re-hydrate and eat some sugar tabs BUT....THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. Seriously?! You could accept the money of a vet but couldn't make a 5 minute accommodation for a diabetic to re-hydrate and bring her sugar level up? I cannot express how disappointed I am in Harley Davidson. You would rather sacrifice the profit and sale of a new bike for the sake of keeping the fee and not rescheduling the course for a diabetic having an episode.

Harley Davidson should take mile high hb franchise away because they continue to lie to custmer, speciall one that travel a distance to buy thier products. i was told by mile high hd of Aurora Colorado they had my part. i drive 200 mile to find out they only had half of the part. i will never shop or buy another bike from Mile High HD ever again. i dont reccomend this shop to anyone. HD corporate needs to stop these types of dealerships.
