Have been considering a SG-CVO for a bit now and was probably going to get one 1 or 2 years old - then cam the 8. My dealer told me to wait and come ride one during an upcoming demo ride day (they never have their own CVO's to ride) and I may want a new one. So I did, showed up early, signed up and got some lip about the CVO's being booked for most of the rides. Now I know I don't look like the typical Harley guy or a local rich guy poser - but I'm already a HD customer and the dealer knows I'm seriously considering dropping a stack on a bike - but I'm treated like I'm a vagrant begging for tequila $ by the corporate guys visiting with the trailer. The guy tells me they aren't signing up yet for the rides later in the day. So I hang, another guy who looks more 'Harley' asks the same question and the guy thinks it over and then sees me looking at him - and signs me up. Tells me to come back at 2:30. So I show up at 2:10 and he tells me I missed my ride, which he sent out at 2 and then offers to let me ride another bike - one I can get any day at the dealer - not the one I can't and WAS considering buying. I leave - a wasted day - I live 25 minutes from the dealer and went there and back twice! Checking out the Victory bikes now and considering selling my current HD. Oh well, my money is good, I guess I'll just spend it elsewhere.
