The convention area is nice. Elegant chandeliers. Parking is steep. Extra points for working with LAHSA
If you ever visit Downtown Los Angeles, make sure you stay at the fabulous Millennium Biltmore Hotel!
My best friend and I live in San Diego and take trips down to Los Angeles quite often - a getaway, which is only a couple of hours away from us! So why not?
Sometimes we stay in LA for just one day, sometimes for a few... And if we do, we always choose Millennium Biltmore because our experience with this hotel has always been the best! We would like to thank the management of the Biltmore Millennium Hotel for providing an excellent service to the clients, because here it goes above and beyond!
The main person who is "responsible" for our deep love for this gorgeous hotel is Allena Cayce, who struck us as an extremely knowledgeable and confident concierge. Allena has an incredibly welcoming personality! We were impressed with her strong work ethics, excellent communication skills, positive attitude and patience. She truly cares about clients of Millennium Biltmore and is willing to go extra mile to make them happy!
We'll be in LA for Halloween. Guess where we are staying?
Very nice, cozy, guests service were phenomenon. Room was clean and comfortable.
Everything was great except the shower curtain was missing in my bathroom. I informed the front desk and a new curtain was installed promptly. Besides my shower curtain fiasco, it was a really neat place to stay.
Nice hotel the hotel location is superb, fast respond, and nice staff. I love this hotel. Very clean, friendly staff, great crowd. . The food was good and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. We loved it. The next time I'm in Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles I ll definitely be staying here. Thank you for making my experience there wonderful.
There was a loud clicking noise coming from the AC controls. At 4am the hotel sent someone to check out the room. He said he couldn't fix the issue, so we didn't sleep. The hotel did not care at all. Don't ever stay here.
Good, clean and comfortable hotel.
However, room service is slow. There were 4 of us in the room and we always only had 2 towels. Obliged to call reception 2 or 3 times for someone to come and bring us some.
Attention neighborhood a little dead around and forced to take the parking lot.
I was the Los Angeles in October and I liked the attention in front of me and they made me feel like I was going to ask for the room thanks. ????
The establishment is very clean, and while the lobby is crowded, the outer hallways are empty with beautiful architecture.
Beautiful hotel with lovely views. We chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. We loved our room, the only issue we had was the extra blanket in the closet was dirty and pretty gross. We just didnt use it. Everything else was clean. We will definitely return to this location. Room service was a bit pricey but next time we will just dine in the restaurant, the room was just so nice we didnt want to leave.
Great bar. Amazing atmosphere. Historical highlights from Oscar awards...
A bit older/classic but still alright. Fairly clean, small TV, plenty of outlets around the room, decent view, and A/C works great.
Very good service
Neat rooms and very good beds
Beautiful place if you like antiques and art, the room are simple and it's located in the middle of downtown in Los Angeles
i didnt like it. its more so just nice on the eyes. no microwave, no phone outlet for charging phones, and hallways reminded me of the shining. id rather the hyatt or hilton. just saying
The jewel of Los Angeles hotel is looking tarnished
No air conditioning..called front desk for tech..tech came did something bit still was hot!!!!..I mean Hot..hot and humid..horrible Biltmore and my first encounter with this property. FOR SHAME!!!
Thats a good place for waiting my patner. Fancy, quite
it was my first time traveling to LA and this was my 3rd hotel staying at after we had a bad experience with the previous hotel we were to stay at. Anyways long story short before we went to Millennium Hotel we stayed at Intercontinental a high end Hotel we weren't greeted nor service was good. When I got to Millennium we were greeted and treated like queens by Miguelito, he is a sweet older man and always offering his services. Then I walk to reception to check in and Adriana attended us and the group I was in to get 3 rooms, she did with a quickness and very talkative and a big smile in her face and gave us all the information we needed, she was AWESOME!! She is the lady you want to have at a customer service & Miguelito as a greeter. Nice Hotel to stay.
Great room except the toilet shoots water like crazy...
I am LA resident and hang out here occasionally on dates or with friends and love Culinas brunch buffet as well as live music on weekend evenings.
Service is great as should be for FS hotel and food is amazing.
It's clean and old-fashioned ... there's no water in the room.
Beautiful, extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. Left my wallet in the car with valet. They were more than happy to take me to where it was parked to retrieve it.
This Hotel was part of our honeymoon in America.
When you arrive, you have the wonderful feeling of having arrived in a Grand Luxury Hotel ... there are many events and therefore also a great coming and going of elegant people. But instead this aura of wealth that is perceived is nothing more than a very big lie. As soon as I arrived in my room 864 I realized that there was hair in the shower and on the bathroom door and so I decided to clean only the shower that would be needed. In the morning I was woken up by the loud noises coming from the works in the street .. and oh well there may be even if the soundproofing should be improved. After breakfast (not from them, specifically) I go to the reception and politely ask for a more thorough cleaning of the room. In reality, on my return in the evening, I immediately realize that the only valuable object left over the iPad in charge is missing in the room, that is my dental appliance worth 1200. Immediately I go to the reception, they send me a first check from the security side in the room and tell me to wait. After an hour they call me and tell me in the morning I have to ask for the manager, I do it, obviously he doesn't come and sends one of the many assistants I spoke to. They tell me that they would report to the Manager and leave the contact details so as to contact me. Nothing in the evening I return and nothing
... then I request, I re-explain what happened, I receive yet another verification of the room and so 3 times. The day before departure I ask them how to do it, what to do? at least I wanted to have a document certifying what happened but they delay.
I ask if it is necessary to make a complaint and they tell me no and that there were the security reports. They tell me that the manager had to decide whether to involve the police and that usually it is called for more serious things .. At my departure there were obviously no managers or competent people and everyone seemed to fall from the clouds ... so I had to go away furious and with nothing concrete.
Another fantastic thing .. and that every check I explained and said what I am writing and after 3 checks of the room I can say that the hair of others was still there ..
Therefore?
in a hotel where you cannot trust to leave things of more or less value in the room,
in a hotel where the manager does not attend to a concrete customer problem (but prefers to spend two hours watching the progress of an important event: it was communicated to me by the staff.
in a hotel that cannot be trusted
in a Hotel that after pointing out the dirt remains dirty .. (poor new customer)
I honestly advise not to go ... not to do any good to unethical and loyal people in case of problems ... you would just feel cheated
..with a ruined vacation .. just like me
Attached pictures:
Hair stuck to the door from check in to check out - photo of the place where I had left the missing dental appliance, please note the many things present, including a new label ... that has not been thrown away ... there is to cry
Terrible street noise in my room. Could not get a good night's sleep, even with earplugs.
For the price, definitely not worth it. It looks nice but I've stayed in much roomier and comfortable hotels for half the price. If you want to pay for everything then this is your place. Also, difficult to work with for groups.
Very classy hotel in a perfect location, in the middle of downtown, I like this spot a lot
Historical Hotel takes you back to the begining of twentieth century ...I had a plesant reception...Staff are very helpful ...all in all it is very flexible for business people and most guests....i do safely recommend it ...and i will back to Biltmore when i visit LA
Services are prompt, hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff is friendly.
The rooms are extremely spacious. The room for four people I'm staying in could easily accommodate 20 people if we used the floor space. The bathroom left a little to be desired however. With all of the floor space the room has we weren't using, the bathroom was tiny in comparison.
Also, our AC unit started leaking due to a misplaced drip pan amongst other things, so the building has some hidden maintenance issues. Staff was extremely quick about getting somebody up to look at it, and that was appreciated.
If you're doing anything at the LA convention center and you're looking for something that's close by shuttle or uber, and you're looking for a good overall hotel with beautiful 1920's styled decor without spending too much money, the Biltmore is a great choice.
Thi hotel is beautiful. This hotel has one of the most stunninh lobbies and histories in LA. Seceral movies were filmed ar this hotel and it is also in a great location.
The hotel itself is a lovely sight but we had an issue with our check in which had a negative impact on the rest of our stay that's the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise it would have been 4.
Room was clean, place wasn't crowded. Shower was nice too. Within walking distance of Chipotle and Starbucks
Very nice glamor hotel with history from old times. Very interesting.
Very lovely hotel in DTLA. Stayed for several nights. Concierge was very helpful when I had a problem with my first room. Great staff at the bell desk too.
Beautiful classic style hotel, where you can find yourself in the middle of a movie set, as it happened to me!
Anyway, it is splendid Only the person who went understands it
Great history, great atmosphere, clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff. Good restaurants, close walking distance to many DTLA shops and restaurants. Bus service right by the hotel.
Only negatives are:
1) it's kind of a period historical hotel. Furniture, fixtures, carpets, curtains..etc were all old. Smelled like an old house would. The interior decor and furniture seems like it hasn't been updated in 40 years.
2) During the adobe max conference Valet parking was $50 a night (no self park option). There was public parking 2 blocks away that was $20. I dont think I would have rented a car had I known that ahead of time.
Nice hotel right in the middle of downtown. Lots of history.
The room was dirty. The sink and bathtub tubes were clooged. An additional fee for water, coupons, and some other stuff was charged but never given to us. Neither did they tell us about the fee until we discovered it on our credit card bill.
Parking costs 50$ (!) with a parking lot directly in the next building charging 16$.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
It was so nice and amazing. Great location and it was also near in famous spots as well. This is really amazing hotel and has a great breakfast and the outdoor pool was absolutely nice. That was a perfect stay and god customer service.
I felt like a princess every time I walked into the lobby. The room was gorgeous and a beautiful view. Staff are lovely. Basically best hotel I ve ever stayed at.
Only went for a quick drink, but solid service and atmosphere.
Excellent stay at this hotel! You guys had a wonderful place to stay. The staff was lovely and very helpful if every you have any concerns. The breakfast was great and the location spot on for exploring the view as very beautiful. I thoroughly appreciate your remarkable experience here in our place. Highly, highly recommended
To me it was just like any other hotel nothing really different or special about it the room size for the price is pretty much what you would expect to get in this area
Staying the weekend for Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball. I'm always floored by how beautiful the architecture is.
Very lovely, historic hotel that will captivate you with its old charm.
Awesome customer service. They have a tiny cafe that has great breakfast and coffee. It has the historical feel to it. Great hotel.
The hotel lobby and main interior are beautiful. However, this was the hardest mattress I have ever slept on and woke up each morning with terrible back pain. It was not a comfortable place to sleep. However, the location is great for walking to area restaurants, the metro, etc.
I rarely write reviews, but the service and ineptitude of this hotel warrants a review. I had to call the hotel and it took over 24 minutes to get a message that they were to busy and to leave a message and they will get back to you. Is this really how a hotel runs itself.
The hotel is labeled as a 4 star, and the lobby almost makes it look like it could be. The rooms are disgusting and small. The service, anytime you need anything done they tell you they are understaffed and sold out. Well then get more staff, I know a lot of people looking for jobs right now.
I highly recommend not staying here, you will regret it.
A hotel film ... large elegant welcoming clean and a strategic point X around the city!
A Pleasure to say this! Awesome work in Ghostbusters!
The service was great and extremely kind and accommodating.
A historic hotel that delivers on all the expectations. Just walking through the lobby gives you a sense of the many great people who have stayed here over the years. The walls are adorned with archival images of iconic personalities and the ceilings are decorated with ornate chandeliers and oil paintings. There isn't much modern and new about this venue, but it is certainly luxurious and chic.
Awesome experience so far, here until monday 21rst 2018. Make sure you get a room with microwave!!!!! Refrigerator and a view preferable the 10th floor! Valet makes it convenient since traffice and parking suck here. Staff was nice and informative....even giving us a tour of the crystal room. Sorry no pictures uploaded go see yourself.
Great hotel with a wonderful aesthetic on the outside
Luxury hotel undoubtedly but slightly hold ... all in all not bad!
Historic old hotel. The pool was awesome and warm. The wifi signal was awful due to old plaster walls. Great breakfast in Smereldis
Stayed here on our way back from Hawaii. After getting our bags, we had to wait maybe 5 minutes for the LAX Shuttle, which took us directly to the hotel without any other stops. Bellman was right there to take the bags. Check-in was very quick, even though there was a Gamer Convention going on. We were given an upgraded room on the 16th floor, with access to the Executive room, which included a Continental Breakfast in the morning, snacks in the afternoon, and drinks in the evening. We had a large sitting area, with a very nice view of the runway at the airport, two full bathrooms, and they have a Customer coin laundry. The Cafe had an excellent buffet, or you can order off the menu. Room was clean, and had a fresh smell to it.
large hotel entrance, then no beautiful rooms and a little 'dirty
Looooovd this hotel. It feels like you are going back in time. I was basically Rose on the Titanic all week. All the opulence and grandeur minus the Atlantic Ocean, giant iceberg and death. Oh and the Gallery bar was phenom. Great cocktails expertly and carefully crafted. Insider tip: Get access to the club on the 10th floor. They serve complimentary healthy breakfast options each morning, coffee/lattes etc. and heavy apps, wine and beer during happy hour each evening. Plus they offer local papers and comfortable sitting areas. Great for a quick meeting or getting caught up on email while your roomie sleeps it up in the comfortable beds.
Very nostalgic experience staying at this hotel. Very exquisite, very clean. Had a very regal feel to it. The staff was mostly friendly, although a little annoying. They kept knocking on my door to see if I was comfortable. Rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the view from my window. And located in the middle of downtown LA. All in all, a pleasant experience.
Night 2 out of 5 and I still haven't encountered the 9th floor ghost girl. Other than that Clean rooms with a mini fridge. Lobby is like an art museum.
Very nice hotel. 4 stars due to lack of microwave for hotel rooms.
It was regrettable that the historic hotel did not have any staff who could speak Japanese, but somehow the conversation with each other was connected and the hotel staff also responded well.
I also had a drink at the bar on the first floor of the hotel late at night and had a conversation with the bartender on cellphone and PokeTalk to entertain the night of Los Angeles.
Then she gave me a souvenir fan from Japan as a gift for the bartender.
However, I felt sad and regrettable because the key to the shower/toilet room in the hotel room where I stayed was broken and I lost my sense of privacy.
There was a strong desire to have the room changed only for the three days I stayed, but I could not help because I was tired because of the mental and physical strength of the language barrier, so I gave up.
The outside of the window of the room I stayed in was not a courtyard, and it was a disappointing scenery, but I enjoyed it as much as I could.
For one thing, I would like to thank all the staff at the hotel for all their help.
Thank you.
The valet service guy who worked on Tuesday at 12pm is really amazing
Facilities are nice, if a bit dated. Staff is outstanding.
The establishment was very well kept and the employees were very helpful.
It was ok! Beautiful hotel but the rooms are not all that!!!
Lobby is very nice. Bathrooms could use a little upkeep however. They look dated
A refrigerator is attached to the room, and the wifi of the gray house also flies to the room.
