We bought our 2015 camaro here a year and a half ago. They worked with us in every way they could to make it happen. We took it back to be serviced and they did a excellent job. Getting me in and out in a reasonable time. So yesterday we went back to buy a truck. We got a 2015 Ford f 150 crew cab 4x4. And again did a awesome job working with us to make the deal happen. Thank you Josh Johnson and Andy Lawhon for another great experience at Mike Johnson Toyota. I've been to other dealer ships and they act like they could care less. But Mike Johnson Toyota will go above and beyond to make your deal happen. Again thank you for another great experience. It's not just where car deals are made. I bought a car here and haven't touched the tint, now going to get inspected I cannot get it to pass inspection anywhere. I called mike johnson and spoke with a customer service rep , they rep stated that they have to do a state inspection before its sold and he guessed someone didnt do their job. Very unhappy that they would sale a car to you that isnt legal to drive.
Reply: it was inspected every year by a local shop and passed. That shop has now closed. That shop may have not been doing their part but point being it was sold with tint that will not pass North Carolina state inspection!!
Plus when the car was purchased we were told with the "first time buyer" program to build my credit itll be in my dads name for the first 6 months to 1 year then "automatically" switch to my name. This was a lie called back a couple years later to verify it's in my name, to find out they had no clue of anything like that I was speaking about.
They did a great job! Told me of the recalls on my truck, set up an appointment that worked for me and because I live about an hour from the dealership, offered me a rental car for the day so I wouldn't be sitting for hours. I was so impressed and grateful for their consideration of my time.

Salesmen are nice as well as honest and don't tell you a bunch of stuff you don't want to hear and/or get your hopes up . But they will do all they can to help and tell you what you need to do to be approved!

Had a terrible experience with these people! Would never go back or recommend it to anyone. They would tell me they weren't going to do things, such as run my credit or try running a different loan for me, and they turned around and did them both. Harassed me for days. Wish I never went here.

My husband and I recently bought a Toyota Tacoma truck at another dealership and found out about several recalls on the vehicle. We contacted mike Johnson Toyota and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Cody Kelsoe in the service department. I must say he went above and beyond to help us resolve our issues. I wish we would have purchased a vehicle from them instead to avoid such problems with the other dealership, who refused to help us. Staff is great at mike Johnson Toyota. I highly recommend them.
2nd recall on my 13 Sienna. They told me they had a rental so I scheduled my appointment. I get there and they don't have a rental, even though I called to make sure. So I had to have someone come pick me up. I asked could they help me out and change oil as a favor for the inconvenience. They said no. Recommend you shop somewhere else.

The service department will charge you for stuff they don't do or you don't need. The last time I went to the service department, I had problems with stuff that was working great when I took there and not when I picked up my truck. And of course they wanted to fix it for me. I was lied to by sales department. They said if I'd find a better price on the car I was looking at, they would pay me $500. Well I did, and I bought it. Then they said, but you didn't come back and let me make you my best price. But I was told that was their best price before I left and went checking prices else where. I didn't get the $500. Once I started talking to others, I found out I wasn't alone in my experience with them.
The people that work there are very good at what they do and they care about you and that you are pleased in the service they are giving to the customer, to make sure that everything you want is given to you. They do anything to help to find what the customer wants and needs to the best of their abilities
Took my truck in for service . So I strolled through the lot and came in and sat down for about 15 minutes. And next thing I knew they was done with my truck . Very fast service and very polite
Camry SE 2018 I bought is nice but when I tried to reach the seller, who constantly reached out to me when looking to purchase a vehicle, disappeared and would not respond to my emails or calls about the minor issues I wanted resolved. I love the car but disappointed with the customer service aspect and the decency to fix the concerns I have with the car. As of now, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a vehicle from there as the follow through and ensuring customers are satisfied with the purchase is a bit of a let down, from my experience

The purchase of my RAV4 was fine; however, the service department seems to never honor their coupons. Today I took my car for service and also told them I wanted the BOGO windshield wipers. On the coupon it says installation included . What would that mean to a normal person? They would install them for free. When I got the bill there was a charge of $10 for installation. I questioned them about it and they said it was a mistake that they should charge for the installation of 1 wiper and offered to give me a credit for the other $5. The $5 isn t a big deal but when the coupon says installation included everyone thinks that means free not 1 wiper installation is free and the other is not.
I had another instance where I took a coupon that had Buy 3 get the 4th Tire free and also said they would match any other price. I got a quote from Sig s Tire for Cooper tires and then went to Mike Johnson. The service manager said they would not sell me the Cooper tires for that price but they would sell me a set of General tires.

I purchased my truck in March 2017 and at the same time purchased 5 years of easy care.the last two times they have tried to charge me for my oil change.they won't ever look at the card I offer them from easy care.i am strongly considering writing the hickory daily record about this service.
Buying a car is not the easiest thing to do, but from the time I got out of my car to the moment I drove off the lot with my new car, I can honestly say I have NO complaints. Stephen Marsh took care of it all. After being told by multiple dealerships that I wouldn't find anything that I was looking for that was in my price range I was about to give it all up. With faith and prayers, I was blessed to have Stephen helping me out. I am beyond grateful for everything thank you!!!!

Great...Ashley (our service rep) went above and beyond to help us get our car repaired. She even loaned us her car to go to lunch. The service manager worked with us to keep the cost to a minimum for this major repair. We were pleased with the work done to our prius.

Had my 2012 Camry serviced yesterday (5-12-16) at the express location. Service was fast and friendly like always but this time I didnt receive the complimentary car wash. No big deal, they were not busy and it takes about 2 min so not sure why they didnt though. I have my car dealer serviced only and I have never had any issues or complaints. I rack up alot of miles so see you guys in about 2 months.
Although there was a mixup in the truck we ordered they ( Rick Williams and Josh Hudgins) made it right and we came out better in the end. These guys went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. If I had a business I would hire these two to oversee it!! To bad theres not a ten star rating scale bc they deserve it!!

I recently visited Mike Johnson Toyota and bought a 2015 Toyota Camry. My experience has been very frustrating and dissatisfying, and I m writing this review to warn people about what happened to me. It all began when I found a 2016 Toyota Camry and requested a quote. I was contacted by one of Mike Johnson s car salesmen, Justin Crowe, who told me they had actually sold that car, but there was another car that I might be interested in test driving. I live 78 miles away from this dealership and only went down here because they had the type of car I wanted only to learn that another salesman, Nick Thompson, was going to be helping us. I found a few flaws and pointed them out to the used car manager, Nate, who assured me that it would be taken care of because it had happened on their car lot. The damage was a crack in the front valance next to the turn signal light causing the light to be loose. I bought the car with the understanding from their used car manager that the defects would be taken care of. I scheduled the time to bring it back down and was told by Nick, the salesman, the damage would be fixed. A few days later they called me to let me know the car was ready, so I drove back down to Hickory to pick up the car. Once I got there, I saw that they did NOT fix the problem and instead the salesman, Justin Crowe, told me that they couldn t repair it because a new valance would cost them $900 to replace. That is not my problem, two employees told me the car would be fixed! I clearly let him know that is not what was told to me by Nate. Justin proceeded to tell me that he s just the messenger and he doesn t know what was said because he was not there. He went back to talk to Nate and came back only to tell me that Nate said, I told them we would TRY to fix it. I never said we would definitely fix it. At this point, I knew it was their word against mine and they never intended on fixing the car in the first place. My worries go a little farther now because I bought two extended warranties with them and am concerned that they will find a loophole if ever I need to use one of the warranties. If you re buying a car from them, please do your research and make sure the car you are interested in doesn t have any problems before you leave because you ll NEVER get the issue resolved.
