Great lounge area with coffee and cafe while waiting on car to be worked on. Was updated on status of car so you don t feel like you are forgot about. Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota is definitely the place to go! I purchased my very first car yesterday and I had an absolutely amazing experience with them. The three main people who helped me out the most were Brenda Boggs, Derrek Avery and Chris Haverstick. These three people made my experience very enjoyable and I can now say that I will definitely be returning back to Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota.

These people are Crooks I would advise stay clear of this place they took advantage of me mother-in-law stold money out of her checking account that she needed to pay her bills she works 20 hours a week and has arthritis in her knee and these people are worth millions and are stealing money from her if they still money from her I'm sure they still money from others
I called the dealership to get a used car. Mr Paul Faro came to my house and picked me up. Mr. Paul put me in a 2020 Toyota Corolla. I recommend this Dealership to anyone. Great Customer Service asked for Mr. Paul Faro
Well to be honest I would take back all five stars if I could. There is not a single person there who is willing to work with you unless they can line their pockets. If you want to save money, don't buy a Toyota or any other vehicle at this dealership. Sorry Mike, but, is this how you have made your money as well?

Best place around to either buy a car or have one repeatedly serviced. My wife and I have been taking our Toyota Camry here for the last year and couldn t be more pleased. The customer service is great, they pamper you while you wait on your car and they get you the best deal possible on whatever your having done or looking to buy. He will make sure you are aware of anything you need to know about your vehicle and give you an "honest" answer. Today in the car business its all about trusting people and Brandon is someone you can trust. You won't be disappointed in the service her provides along with his techs.
I took my 2010 Corolla in for an intermittent problem of stalling shortly after it started.. This problem had been occurring for about a year and a half. I was called 30 minutes later by Stacey Thompson that my battery tested low and needed to be replaced. I expressed my concern to him that the issue the car was having had nothing to do with the battery and would not fix the problem, but he insisted that if I didn't follow the technicians advice they were not going to look further into it. I picked up the car, tested the battery myself and it tested good. I took it to Modern Toyota in Boone where the technician there took one look and found that a vacuum line for the brake port was installed backwards (this was done when Mike Johnsons cleaned my throttle body a year and a half ago). I wish there was a VERY POOR AND DECEPTIVE rating I could give to there service department.
The service from Mike Johnson's Toyota has been exceptional. What a wonderful experience to be treated with respect and kindness by every member of this service team. Thanks for being so quick and responsive to the service needs of my vehicle.

toyota Yaris 2010 yellow - it s the best little car . And everywhere I go at least one person compliments it . I was having a problem with clear coat BUT they are taking care of me now . Very nice man Andy In sales was polite and a man Kent whom gave me a rental . Love the popcorn and water . I will always buy cars here . My son has also . I love Toyota s. up date . Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota is the MOST outstanding, caring auto dealership I have ever done business with. My salesman, Mike Sopala, provided stellar customer service throughout the entire purchase process. He went the extra mile introducing me to my 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata prior to purchase via video walkaround, pictures, and promptly responded to all of my questions. Chris Impson, sales manager, answered all of my questions and concerns, performed a walkaround of the car, filled me in on the history of the little beauty, and explained Hickory Toyota's Lifetime Powertrain and Transmission Warranty. Chris, Finance Manager, assisted me through the financing process, and took the time to find me the lowest interest rate based on my credit score. Hickory Toyota team members are ON THE BALL! I'LL BE BACK doing business with Hickory Toyota in the future!

When I took my car to get the tires rotated they broke my glove box door and didn t tell me. When I called to see if they could fix it they customer service was slightly rude and I never received a call back about the door.
Cindy Hall is an outstanding person she had me in and out of there in less than 20 minutes and I had a key made with the security chip after the parts guy told me it would be over an hour wait super nice and friendly people would rent would recommend them to anybody and everybody

I was mostly pleased with my experience getting my truck fixed here. The service dept ladies I dealt with were helpful and the rental car was quick and easy. The mechanics did good solid work and I haven t had any problems since the repairs were done several months ago. They treated me fair and will do business with them in the future

Well its been interesting for sure I loved the car buying experience I felt welcomed and Wesley took great care of me. We had a slight hiccup when I bought my 2020 highlander There was a disconnect with the finance dept and sales for my car When they say they can do something for you make sure its in the contract Even with this hiccup They truly do what they need to do to make things right with the customer for that I will be a returning customer soon to get my husband his 4 runner. I have just written a book about how dissatisfied I am with the dealer service and have deleted it because it would take a second book to explain everything. After my current experience , there is no way in hell I am going back there even if it means I no longer have "Tires for Life". I do not trust them and cannot count on having things done correctly and completely.

Just don t go...... I would first like to thank Mike Johnson Toyota having the worst customer service and most high pressure sales I have ever experienced. Steve was rude, invasive, and just awful. However, I went just down the road to Hickory Honda. Got an almost new car fully loaded, payments where I wanted them, and a great interest rate. So thanks for being awful so I could get what I wanted for a price I could afford from somewhere else!
