Greg took the time to explain why we needed a new panel installed since we discovered we needed one only due to a home inspection. Greg was very professional and hard working. At first I thought the service was great but when I looked closer at the job I was disappointed. First, I found that the cost was too high but that is my bad. Then I thought they would clean the registers better. Also, I felt that their clean up was not good. I gave the two employees a tip which I am regretting. 3 stars is generous.

Had a brand new AC system installed in July of 2020 they did and outstanding job they are very neat and cleaned everything up when they were done just had Paul back for the second time for my 6 month cleaning if you need a fantastic AC company I would highly recommend this company and ask for Paul he is a super nice guy and knows his line of work they are a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for an they are the best and stand by there work no questions asked

He fixed our garbage disposal and leaky pipe. He was very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. He took great care not to make a mess. He wore boot covers as to not track in dirt. First, they were concerned enough to contact me about my review. I wish more companies did this!
Second, after talking with their manager, they were able to give me a partial discount on the original services.
Third, I asked them to come out to give me an estimate on completing the rest of the plumbing work I needed done. When they again came in too high, with a little more discussion, we were able to reach an acceptable (to me) cost for completing the job I wanted done.
Fourth, this company has some of the nicest and most competent techs I've met with almost any company.
So, over all, I would recommend this company to anyone, with the caution to not accept the first estimate.
I called this company because I had a leak in a hot water line, and they agreed to come out to give me an estimate at no charge. I should have known there was a catch to that.
The service tech arrived on time, was friendly and super helpful. He gave me an estimate that I assumed was for the whole length of the pipe. Don't ever assume anything with this company. What I got was a patch of about three feet long change over from galvanized pipe to cpvc. Took him all of about an hour to do the actual repair. Got me financed for the amount of the estimate of $550. Guess you would call me not so smart to go ahead with the repairs. Really! $550 for an hour's worth of work. No itemized bill. No way to question the charges.
Had they dealt honestly with me (no itemized bill is dishonest in my opinion), I have other repairs that need to be done that I would have had them do. Won't ever deal with them again! These folks are just plain dishonest and out for the money.
They got one star, because the tech was very friendly and helpful as far as he could be.

Midway literally saved the lives of my family and I. We moved to Florida one year ago and were greeted with Tropical Storm Debbie which destroyed our air conditioning, damaged our doors, our roof and fence. During the storm our dishwasher and garbage disposal also died. We found Midway Services on Angie's List as one of the highest quality and dependable contractors in the St. Petersburg area. We called them to our rescue. They came immediately and gave us the highest quality, most dedicated, and trustworthy service we've ever received in any other state. It was then that Mr. Donnie Wolf introduced himself and the rest of his team to complete dedication throughout all repairs.
Black mold was found in our air conditioning units and ducts. Mr. Wolf brought in a microbiologist to assist with the diagnostics of the mold and treatment. The mold was caustic and a critical danger to our lungs. Midway brought in another team to clean out the mold throughout our house. Always making us their first priority, the team worked day and night over weeks to make sure we were all safe. At times members of the team sacrificed their own health to assure that we had the best service, the cleanest air to breath, and the safest environment. At all times, every single technician was always respectful, honorable, kind, and trustworthy. They literally became a big part of our family and we will never ever forget all that they did to bring our life back to normalcy. Any time of the day or night they never refused us. We know that God has blessed us when Midway came to our rescue. Our lives have been returned to normal now but Mr. Donnie Wolf and his FANTASTIC TEAM have become a part of our hearts. We were renovating two bathrooms in the house and called Midway Services. Stuart D. from Midway was our service technician. Stuart came exactly when Midway told us he would come, assessed the renovation project, and we agreed upon the price. The work involved taking up the existing two bathroom floors, replacing both with tile floors. In addition, the project involved installing a new vanity, sink, faucets, replacing a vanity top (custom made through Midway) in the second bathroom with another new sink, replacing the toilet, cutting the mirrors, etc. Stuart priced the project and arranged a schedule so the tile and plumbing jobs were coordinated. Stuart did all the plumbing work himself and did a wonderful job! He kept to the schedule he promised and all the work was first rate! Last, but not least he kept asking us if we were happy and completed all the special requests we asked for. We would definitely recommend him and Midway to anyone looking to do renovations and we are very happy with the new look of both bathrooms!

Jose was great .He replaced my drain in sink that was stripped .I thought $350 for a standard rate was high. I did not know it would be that much. The dispatcher told me the service tech would give me an estimate. I did not get the estimate prior to work beginning so I was a little surprised at the $350 initial amount after Jose did the work. However, We worked out a price I was comfortable with and my sink works great. Thank you
Robert Keith came out today. He was on time, friendly with a professional approach. He examined my complaints regarding the plumbing, diagnosed the issue, explained to me in understandable terms and gave me a quote which I found to be reasonable. It shows that Robert Keith knew his trade very well because he completed the work entirely, cleaned the area including the floor and then invited me to test out the work done. I actually tested 3 separate times and all was to my satisfaction. I would certainly be requesting him for any future plumbing issues. A job well done. Thank you Robert Keith.

I called to have my shower faucet checked out was told it needed anew cartridge. Cartridge was replaced for $200.00. Ok I guess but seems high. Edit. I received a call today from Cathy at Midway Services ana we discussed a few things and some adjustments were made and I have amended my review to reflect a better opinion. After the discussion I better understand how things are done and can appreciate their side of the business.. I will not hesitate to call them in the future.
Jason always does an excellent job with routine maintenance and any repairs. He is very thorough and knows if something needs to be replaced or fixed before it causes any problems with the A/C unit. Also, excellent customer service when you call Midway to schedule maintenance or repairs.

Jake from Midway Plumbing came as I asked on Monday morning to fix my toilet that died over the weekend. It had rusted out and he replaced the insides with high quality non-metal insides. High quality service and products.
I called midway services and was told by Dave that there people were better than many others. I gave him a check for half down 2900 to redo both bathrooms and to do drywall work on living room and daughters room. They came out and ripped the toilets out. I was told it I would be without toilets for 2 days. I had a hotel room reserved for 5 days which was the total time I was guaranteed the project would take. The tiler came in to tile which took 2 days. I have a real small bathroom?? Next the plumber was supposed to be there at 8 a.m shows up at 2p.m.??? He is there an hour and says he needs a part that he does not have. I ask him if he is going to get it and he says he has to go he is having work done on his house and he has to avoid traffic??? Next day the tiler comes and says he is doing plumbing. He said he knows nothing about plumbing. He calls Dave who was trying to explain this over the phone??? He could not figure it out and he left. The drywallers who where there did not have all there drywall dropped off as they said Dave was supposed to do it. No baseboards for a week and the drywallers were gone already. My bathroom has no baseboards still 9 months later. The last plumber told Dave on the phone I think they might sue us for breach of contract. Tried to call Dave for days and went to voicemail. One of his guys called and he picked it up right away?? Worst company ever!!!!! I am down 2900 dollars and my bathrooms are not finished. On day 18 Dave shows up for the last half of the project and I said it s not even halfway done. He acted surprised and I told him to get out. I would expect a refund for my 2900 dollars!!!!! If this company were smart they would fire Dave. I was guaranteed 7 days of work and 18 days later not even close. If this is not resolved soon I will go to the BBB the attorney general Pam Bondi and social media as well as new stations who can help with this. I have been real sick ever since the work was done here. I spent 700 additional dollars for a hotel to house my kids,grandkids, and pets. My wife was out of town for two weeks and just cried. Owner of midway I as well as others are waiting for your response immediately on this website. Supposed to be a family business so be one and take care of your customer

Greg rewired a 1950's Bungalow with exceptional proficiency. Old houses always are difficult,, and he was able to repair send upgrade all outlets and installed new ones whereby needed them. I was impressed by his quality and efficiency and have asked for quotes on other Midway services.

Had a water heater and shut off valve replaced at my MIL's condo. Guy did a fantastic job. Even cleaned up the floor where he was going in and out with tools and the old leaking heater. Got pretty muddy but he took care of it. Very professional service. Thanks!
Charged an elderly woman $1400 to install a 30 gallon short water heater, and then didn't even install it properly, it was leaking significantly after. Any other reputable plumber would have charged $200-$400. Midway services preys on elderly people who do not know any better and they do garbage work. I know many people that have been scammed by these con artists. I hope they get shut down and go out ot of business soon.

I recently used Midway services to replace my garbage disposal and my kitchen faucet. They were great with communication and performed quality work. They were also efficient and good at explaining the processes, services and prices. Tabor was the person who performed the work and he was great! Also, every other person I spoke with was very pleasant and professional. I also used them for an estimate to get my air ducts cleaned which was a good experience as well. I have not scheduled that service but I plan on doing so I m the near future. I just moved into a home by myself (first time homeowner) and have had to put some work into it and Midway has been my favorite company to work with!

Had a bird caught in the dryer exhaust vent. They showed up within a couple hours of calling, helped me get the bird out and then changed the exhaust ducting, added a proper scree. Then they thanked us for giving them the opportunity to perform their services. Sure, it's not the cheapest company, but they did it correctly the first time, and quickly.

Noticed having hard, bad tasting water from softener. Josh was third person in about 6 weeks sent to solve the problem - and so far my water is great. His solution was not enough water in the brine tank and showed me how it should be. I'm really glad I no longer need to purchase bottled water for making iced tea, etc. Josh is very professional and thorough, and Midway is lucky to have him.
Rob M. came out to give me an estimate, and subsequently performed the service of running a new electrical line from my breaker box to my dryer.
Not only was the price cheaper than an estimate I had gotten from another company, but Rob was very thorough and friendly. He went above and beyond, and made sure to update me on everything he was doing from start to finish. I will request Rob at Midway Services for any electric services that we may need in the future.

I was in the process of selling my mom s condo. The inspection report detected a grounding issue with some outlets. The Midway Tech was professional, thorough and found the issue which was a junction box in the attic. I was completely satisfied with the service and would recommend Midway to all my friends.
Plumber replace bathroom sink faucet and handles. Jeff, who I ve used before is most knowledgeable and adept at his craft. He explains the problem and gives options how the problem can be resolved. He tries to make it cost effective.
Called Midway to obtain a free estimate to replace our electrical panel and upgrade it the amperage. We were very impressed with the professionalism, and upfront free estimate for services to have the panel replaced. We went ahead with Midway, despite having other estimates/bids and Kevin, the electrician was readily at our door bright and early the scheduled day of service. Kevin did a fantastic job! He is both very professional, courteous.and extremely knowledgeable. A true expert in his field.
A few days later, we had trouble with the connection to our water heater and, once again called Midway. To our surprise, Midway sent a wonderful and very professional plumber the same day, Terrance. Terrance performed a diagnostic on the issue and found a lose wire. Since our water heater is older, Terrance was kind enough to provide us with a free estimate to replace it whenever we decide. Terrance has an amazing wealth of knowledge and guidance.
Both Terrance and Kevin are a wonderful asset to Midway Services. They are not pushy service salesmen, but truly caring and knowledgeable technicians in their fields. It is very refreshing to find a company that you can trust in your time of need.
This company is a scam, theft and fraud is their game. they actually purposelly affect your usage and over charge. They need to be investigated by law enforcement. Charges are being filed and an investigation will begin soon

I had a very good experience with Midway Services. A pipe had burst underneath the foundation of my home. In trying to get a handle on all that was needed, I called about 10 or so plumbers in the area. Some neither answered my calls nor returned my message, others never showed, and still others showed but tried to up-sell me on other things or showed a lack of concern for my particular situation. Mike from Midway, on the other hand, took his time in assessing the situation. While his estimate was in the middle ground, I could see he wanted to do his best to not disturb my home (even though the job required running all-new plumbing throughout). He also seemed to have a firmer hand on what the job called for. It seems my house was a particularly difficult case, as all the plumbers told me, but Mike went further to figure out the best plan with the least damage to the home. Mike came in and completed the four-day job as he planned. He also been very responsive after the fact, answering my calls and making himself available for any other questions I imposed. In all, I definitely recommend Midway for your plumbing needs.
