Literally did nothing. They had my car since Thursday, after we called to make sure they could fit us in. They said yes, sure, no problem, plenty of openings. They didn't even "look" at my car until Monday, (which I am 100% sure they never looked at it) just to tell me I need to spend $7000 on a new transmission. A 2016 Ford Escape needs a new transmission, for a common problem that Ford should fix for free because they DEFINITELY know about it. I think not. They then charged us $133 for absolutely nothing. We are now having it towed to a transmission shop for repairs by someone who knows what they are doing, at half the price of what Middletown Ford wanted to charge us. What a joke. Do not recommend at all.

Chris S. was our salesman, and he did a wonderful job of working through our needs and price point. We just had a baby and needed to upgrade our current car. We needed something with space for all of our daughters things, as well as something that would handle all our travel. We couldn't afford to pay much more than we were already paying on our current vehicle, and they were able to negotiate well with my current lender. I didn't have to change banks, and got a better newer car. Very much appreciate all the help he did!.

Dealers are known for a slew of bad practices. Middletown didnt disrespect. In fact my wife and i KNEW they wanted our business. They had the truck of my dreams. They contacted me to let me know that and then they made it a reality. Ken Lang, Thank You for Your expertise, professionalism and goodheartedness. Ken Lang, Thank You for the same but also Your gift of knowing how to explain all that documentation to us and selling the note to a Financier that would give us the best loan rate. Everyone we came in contact with at Middletown Ford acted as though they were happy to be there. The Trucks perfect by the way. But You folks knew that. Just needed a particular type of buyer. My experience started off with Middletown Ford turning a terrible start to my day into a better one. I tried to get into a dealership in Springdale and was just blown off because they were too booked up to even try to look at my car. I called Middletown Ford Service in hopes they could get me in because my 2011 Explorer was in immediate need of attention. Jerry Weghorst was very polite on the phone and told me he would try his best to look at it that day, GREAT!! Dropped it off and went about my day. I was dropped off later that evening to get the good or bad news. The service techs were not able to get to our Explorer that day but Jerry made sure I was in a rental car even though it was 10 minutes past his shift! Ford Service was able to fix our issue and now my wife can drive her Explorer again without fear of the issue happening again. Thank you Middletown Ford Service and Jerry Weghorst for taking the sour taste away that I was having for Ford Service at the start of my day.

took my car in for an oil change and to fix a power window. had to take back a week later to have a steering issue fixed and to replace tires. in the process of those repairs, they back into one of their poles in the garage and had to replace the taillight and do some bumper repair. when i picked the car up, the steering problem still existed although not as bad, the Service Engine Now light was on, and the had not reset the change oil now light

I stopped by the dealership a couple of months ago. I was looking for a first car for my teenage daughter. Jordan gave me her cell number and kept in touch until we found the right vehicle at the right price. She was awesome to work with and very patient as I was pretty particular on what I wanted. There was a slight issue with a noise by one of the tires the night I took the car home and the service department had it resolved in 5 minutes when I took it in. Luckily it was a quick easy fix. Very good people to work with. Go see Jordan if you want a pleasant experience, highly recommend!

I visited the Middletown Ford Body Repair Shop where my car is getting serviced. I only have experience with the Body Shop. The owner, manager and workers at the body shop all treated me with respect and their vehicle repair process is done with care and integrity. If something isn't right they stop at that point and do whatever is necessary to make it right before proceeding.
My car was repaired at Middletown Ford Body Shop. The body work was stunningly exceptional. Just as important, if not more so, their me hanical repair was as good as they are at body work. My car had suffered front end suspension damage and that included major knee-joint and wheel bearing replacement and repair work. Middletown Ford did all the mechanical as well as body work and my car is as safe and beautiful as it was before the accident. I have never seen as good a job on paint matching that makes it impossible for a person to tell there ever was an accident without a microscope and a DNA forensic analysis kit. To top that, Rick the owner was always available by phone to address my concerns and Bruce, the assistant manager, and all the guys I met in the shop treated me with the utmost respect and care. For any future car problems there's no other place I would go but Middletown Ford. It's a great place for women as well as men. What a great place!

Charged over $100 for a diagnostics, but they said they could not find the real problem and needed to charge $200 or $300 more to find the problem. If they did not try to fool me, they were not able to find the problem and fix it. Then, I went to another Ford dealer and found the issues in 2 days. So it is not the matter of money, it is matter of integrity or quality of work. I do know that I need to pay for the work, but the truth was the mechanics tried to fool me and charge more, or they were just too careless during the diagnostics.

Dennis the service manager was great, everything was taken care of by early afternoon. Alicia will be the reason I come back for future service appointments.Great job girl!

Absolutely terrible experience with Ford. My mechanic already diagnosed the problem (in 1 day). Because Ford warranty requires dealership to fix, I had to tow the car over to Middletown. They are 10 days into the diagnostics (and have come to the same conclusion as my mechanic... go figure.). I'm about $700 invested in a rental car which is not covered. I anticipate another week or two to get it fixed. I could have had this done at my preferred shop in 4-5 days. This is THE perfect example of why you never should bring your car to a dealership for service if you can avoid it. I'm stuck because the warranty requires work done at a Ford dealership and I'm convinced that this is the ONLY reason these guys get any service work.

While in for warranty work, I asked them to check the seat warmers. The seat warmers stopped working as they typically do on a Ford - same thing on a prior car and checked the web. They should be covered under warranty. While a 30 second search will tell you what's going on, Middletown wants to charge $100 to diagnose a $100 part! When I questioned this the answer was "Do you know how many parts are in there?" Seriously... Hello? Replace the most common failure - I'll forego the $100 diagnosis in favor of the part that is most likely the problem and if it doesn't fix the problem - I'll pay for the part. If it does fix the problem, warranty will cover it and I won't be out any money.

I'm almost a month now to fix a problem (transmission failure) that could have been fixed in a week. By the time I get the car back I'll be out $1000 for a car rental while getting warranty service. The only people making out on this deal are Enterprise rental car and Ford. I used to love this car (it's my second one). Now I hate the car, and Ford and will never buy another one. 99% of the time you buy any car you will not have issue but you have to consider what happens when it breaks... I could never recommend buying a Ford after this.

RESPONSE to REPLY: I actually did schedule it with you before I towed it to your facility. You guys told me I'd have the car before the 4th. It took Ford 2 weeks to come to the same conclusion the my mechanic did in half a day. That's a Ford problem - not a local problem. But since your sign says "Ford"... it's your problem too. Car rental reimbursement presumes 10 days. It took more than twice that. I'm out $550 that you're NOT covering for car rental because it took you so long. And finally, you returned the car without aligning it which you need to do after you drop the carriage to get to the transmission block. So I still have to bring the car back. Your response is nothing but defensive.

Only four stars because I haven't had a whole lot of work done (only been there twice so far). Everyone there in service is GREAT. I just left and Mike was super informative and very professional. I wish I could have come to Middletown Ford the entire time I've had issues with my '17 Fusion.

Middletown Ford is completely shady.I was lied to on the phone in order to have me drive 90 miles to get there.There finance guy tried to sneak a two thousand dollar warranty into my contract they I would have been paying for after it ran out adding 6 months to my contract without my consent. On top of all that B.S., I just received my title with purchase price, and it is $250 more dollars than the agreed price, STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I had the absolute best experience buying a car here from the minute I walked in. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Erik was my cunsultant and tried very hard to get me the best possible deal. The manager came over to personally introduce himself to me. I had a very great experience and left happy and confident in my new purchase. Definitely coming here for any further purchases!

Took my car in for a scheduled online oil change. Dropped it off then got a call that they did not have an oil filter for my called ahead scheduled online service. Had to leave car over weekend because apparently you disassemble then get new part instead of checking to see if oil filter is in stock. I paid full price for oil change 162.00.

I then paid and went to inspect car before I leave. Car was parked in the weed tree in the side parking lot. Dirty shoe marks all on the inside driver side area. Then the big one, the Shelby Gt350 has racing stripes. The rear had a finger nail pick in it like someone was seeing of was painted or vinyl well its vinyl and now has a little chunk out of it. The rear of the car appears to have finger prints all over it also.

I go in to tell someone that my car is damaged. I show him and then ask to talk to a manager who does come out and proceeds to agree with me then acts like his people wouldn't do this and had no reason to be back there. I then point at all the spots and say apparently they where. I do not touch the paint on my car I know it creates micro scratches. I am very very picky with my car. I always park away from people and ots garage kept. I only drive it on nice days. I know my car, the manager says I bet I could walk around it and find flaws. Really,way to talk to customers and basically saying it's my fault!!

Manager said he will fix it got it in writing. Review will come down once fixed.

You don't spend 60-70k on a car and treat it like garbage. PHOTOS ON YELP

I am an Independent dealer that purchased one of their vehicles from an online auction. The dealer is supposed to disclose all damage in this auction. Car was delivered to me with a bad clutch. Would barely move the car. Dealer refused to help on repairs because sold as-is. Yes as-is with full disclosure.If they will do this to another dealer, what would they do to the public? Only way to stop it at auctions is to tell the public what they do also. If I did this to any customer, I would expect the bad review also.

Had two recalls completed today, driver side airbag, reprogram power steering. Did a good job, if it wasn't for a little grime on my door handle I wouldn't have known they were in there and had the steering wheel apart. The grime was no big deal, wiped right off. I have to go back because the passenger's side airbag had to be ordered. Knowing no details of parts acquisition I can't complain. I wasn't "encouraged" to have anything done to my vehicle. It was a great experience because it was exactly what I expected, and was uneventful.... boring even :) I'll be back when the passenger's side comes in. - Gregg Myers

As per our conversation, My complaint wasn't because I had to "wait my turn in line" .. Further more I had purchased my parts from your parts department on Friday,Scheduled to be installed on Saturday.. However, that still wasn't my complaint. My complaint is the money I spend over all with Ford and the complete apathy I get.. Apon arrival, I get treated as if I was a bum from the street from your associate working at the body shop.. Only two employees treated me with respect (However, The damage had already been done with the apathy from the first associate. . After the service manager sent me across the street to change out the parts needed to replace my mirror, I had no problem waiting in line at parts counter. Then I was directed to set up another appointment with service .. ( was told they didn't have time for me this Saturday, again with a tone of apathy) .. So my complaint is valid.. Apathy and making a customer run from one side to another, doing the leg work that the company should be doing is what has me furious.. Why spend money on below par service.? No decent waiting area, No communication between employees on servicing the client and having the client run back and forth between Body Shop, Parts Department and service department. . All of this should be handle by the Ford Team.. NOT THE CUSTOMER !!!!!

On Friday, December 9th, 2016, I took my 2011 Ford Fusion in to Middletown Ford's Service Department for a routine Oil Change. John Walton always greets me by name when I'm there, and takes an interest to make sure that anything that I may need done to the car is taken care of in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. In the eight years that I've been dealing with John, I've come to trust him, and I consider him a friend. I would never hesitate to recommend Middletown Ford's Service Department, and John Walton, to anyone.

I brought my 2014 Ford Focus in to the repair shop...

I brought my 2014 Ford Focus in to the repair shop at Middletown Ford last month. one of the issues was a failing part having to do with fuel/air mixture that had become non-functional. It was a recalled part, so they fixed it without charging. That, btw, is the only reason why their service department received even ONE star.

The other issue was one concerning the transmission. Even though it's an automatic, they refer to these internal workings as a clutch assembly. But whatever you call it, it was ill-designed and prone to repeated failures in 2012 thru 2016 Focus cars. Although this ill-fated concept was billed as offering the benefits of an automatic AND manual transmission --- one of them being improved gas mileage --- the truth is that my Focus got no better mileage than any other small car.

But the more serious matter is that my car's transmission wasn't working right, especially in first gear, when I bought it. So why did I buy it then, you might ask? Because the car needs to warm up, which of course takes awhile, before the hesitating/lurching symptoms begin. And although I can't prove this, there is no question in my mind that the original owner had already had this fixed once, and had traded it in only when the first repair had failed.

So in late 2017, I also had it repaired. The good news is that they didn't charge me --- that time --- but the bad is that THIS repair didn't hold up either. A little over a year later (last month, actually), this clutch assembly had failed again, causing hesitating and lurching symptoms that could pose a safety hazard in case you have to put the pedal to the metal in a hurry. I took it back to the dealership for what I was pretty sure would be its third repair, but this time they wanted to charge $ 1500.00. They said that because the car was over 60000 miles.

Well, if it's out of warranty, it's out of warranty. But Ford had released a public statement some years back, saying they would warrant these kinds of transmissions in their Focus cars for 100000 miles...but only for 2013 and older model years. W-w-w-w-wWHAT?? Why would Ford stop at the 2013 model year when they knew dang good and well that the same problem had persisted until at least 2016?

Whatever the reason, it left me out in the cold with a poorly-running (and likely also unsafe) 2014 Ford Focus, the product of a company who is fully aware that every poor sap who bought one was going to have to spend $1500.00 on it every 12 to 18 months --- plus regular maintenance and other repairs --- just to keep it running.

Ford -- both the manufacturer AND the dealership --- you should be ashamed of yourselves.

On a side note, this car also beeped fast and loud when the driver exceeded 65 miles peer hour. No doubt something mommy and daddy had arranged to make sure junior didn't turn into Nascar's DALE Junior on the highway. Fair enough, but after the same Ford dealership told me the only way to remedy this was to spend something like $ 200 on a "special programming key", so as to undo the "beep" program, I took it to a mom & pop garage on 1st Street, who simply unplugged what they had called an aftermarket product, charging me only 40 bucks. Why couldn't Ford do that?

Turns out that Ford can't do a lot of things, which is why I will never buy one again if I live to be a thousand. And I strongly suggest you don't either.
