Friendly and fast service. They fixed a power wheels for me under warranty in about 20 minutes total. They have lots of cool stuff in the store as well. I will definitely use them again.

Every town should have one of these businesses! The fix, order in parts, do diagnostic checks, and have lots of replacement pieces available. Whatever you have that you think is useless, take it over to them. They will let you know either way. They have always been fairly priced.

It is amazing how many items this store has that other stores don't carry.
The employees try to get the right part for me, and they have almost always been successful. Great service and dependability.

They had parts in stock for my 20 year old washer. I needed an additional part the following day and they didn't have it in stock but ordered it for me. It was cheaper than anywhere I had found online. It was suppose to take 2 days to arrive but came in the very next day. I can't praise The Mending Shed enough!!

I love the mending shed. They are always so helpful. They repair absolutely everything of ours that they can. If they can't fix it they refer us to great people. We love the mending shed. I tell everyone I know to go to the mending shed.

The Mending Shed is amazing. Friendly staff & fantastic service. I needed a washplate for my LG washer and they were able to get me one shipped in, in less than a week. They also repaired the bowl to my Kitchenaid mixer several years ago and it was back in less than a week too. Love this place!

I was super surprised that they had the dryer element on hand. Plus they have a tool repair shop on site for the ever popular cordless tools that everybody seems to have now days. And neat little odds and ends for the kitchen guru's out there.

We ve taken numerous items to Mending Shed over the many years they ve been in business. This review is specifically for Ron Lewis the Clock Repairman. He has worked on every antique clock we ve ever had. Numerous clocks. His work is excellent. His timeframe is very reasonable, as is the cost. I love The Mending Shed.

The mending shed has everything! If you need to repair a tool or appliance look no further. They also have great kitchen accessories and bake ware. Their collection of seasonal bake ware is awesome if you're looking for top quality.

This place is amazing for many reasons. They have a large variety of replacement parts for a plethora of household appliances small and large. Perfect store for any DIY repair parts. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They offer repair services on pretty much anything, including antique clocks. They are also a retailer for razor and power wheels parts and accessories, kitchen aid cooking products and accessories, and Dyson vacuums.

I needed single small part to repair our KitchenAid mixer that had done a half-gainer off our kitchen counter. I found the part online at The Mending Shed. The cost of the part and shipping were very reasonable and it arrived promptly. The mixer was back in working order in short order. The service exceeded my expectations and how can you resist an endearing name like The Mending Shed?

This store was able to fix the broken handle on my Presto Canner and tested it free of charge. Everything else in the store however, was highly over priced. Only rating 3 stars because they're not open at all on weekends and items are not worth the price they want.

I have had them fix several tools and they always come back working great.

Fixed every blender I've ever brought here! They fix a lot more than that but that's all I can personally say is excellent. Though I've seen other products being fixed when I was there and know of others who love their service

Mending Shed has been BYU Sports Medicine s go-to place for 20+ years. They are honest, dependable, and reliable.

Nice people. They had a part in stock for my dryer for a quick fix. And they have a lot of cool little knick knacks.

Over 3 months to fix a pull cord on a leaf blower. True part of the parts were on backorder but it took them 6 weeks to even look at my machine and then 6 more to get the part. Seems like they could be a lot more efficient. They were nice about it though for the most part

The Mending Shed is a great place to get model specific parts for many appliances and power tools including Whirlpool, Fridgidaire, Dewault, Milwaukee, Dyson, etc. They are also authorized service centers for lots of small appliances and tools.
Make sure to bring a model number so that they can match the correct part with what you need.
They can't go to your house to fix your washer, dryer or fridge, but anything that the Mending Shed can't do, they will try their best to help you find someone who can.

I always go to the Mending Shed to find those hard to find items. I've found that they have some very unique things and also top of the line items for a great price.

We have used their repair services for many years now on our clippers and dryers for our grooming salon. They have always given us good service and very reasonable prices.

I wish I could give the 0 star! I ordered a bunch of parts for my Kitchen Aid Mixer. I received all but 1 part. After 7 emails, 6 from me to them with no responses from Colleen, I gave up trying to get the part and had to re-purchase it from another source. Very disappointed, even after 3 full years later I haven't heard a word and will never order anything from them.

This place is a great local place for many needs. They are very knowledgeable about appliances and tools and have a ton of great kitchen stuff. I had to fix 2 appliances after I purchased my home and they had the parts in stock. It was much more convenient than dealing with online purchasing and they were able to walk me through the install process. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I wish I'd known sooner that they have such a large inventory of major appliance parts! On my most recent visit, I needed help in trying to diagnose the problem with my oven. Holly was very willing to take the extra time to help and guide me to a successful repair of my appliance. This was not my first experience there and each time I have been treated with the utmost courtesy, professionalism and willingness to use their extensive knowledge to help.

These guys are awesome! The staff took care of my Ridgid LSA tools & batteries quickly and correctly. They kept me updated via text and made sure I got my new/fixed tools.

I run a small business and while I didn't come in to The Mending Shed, they directed me to where I could get what I needed. They were very helpful.

My clothes dryer wasn't heating. I took the heating element here. They tested the part and diagnosed the problem. They made it so easy for me to fix it. Their extremely knowledgeable staff saved me so much money and trouble. They are amazing!!

They know what they are doing, but can sometimes get behind and you have to wait for them to look at your issue.

Terrible customer service. When purchasing items they told me that they were returnable. After the repairman trouble shot my dryer and fixed it without using the parts I purchased I tried to return them. Though unopened, they told me that they were not returnable. I now have a bunch of brand new, unopened appliance parts that I don't need.
I guess they got their sales and that's all that matters to them. I'll be using another supplier from now on.

Only place I could find dishwasher mounting brackets not online. Friendly and knowledgable. Saved my bacon.

( Don't recommend anyone going here) So 1st I get there a guy in a green truck opens his door so hard it Literally dented my vehicle But it's an older vehicle OK crab happens but not realizing it I locked my keys in the truck So I went in looking for a part they were 4 times more expensive Then the actual Company that was online but Hey they were here And I hate shopping online and a thing called a spanner Wrench That I also Needed unfortunately I didn't carry that much money on me So I walk out to my truck and And that's when I realize I locked my keys inside so I walk in start textingTo my customer that was gonna run a little late And then I text my wife to bring me my extra keys and please pick up the parts because one she had the money and to I was gonna be late and so had hurry the lady behind the counter as soon as I asked what the part was chewed me out said If you're gonna just keep asking about the part so you can order online that is a really Rude And that wasn't the whole thing she said either In the way she said it it's like she was attacking your character or almost making you feel like she was about to snap and just getting a whole yelling argument Like from my view it's like she went from being happy to be angry in 1 second So I'mThinking like what the hell I'm sorry I was just making sure my wife knew what to get since I wouldn't be there because I had to leave immediately as she got there because I was gonna be late for my appointment I'm sorry you just assumed my character and I'm sorry that my job requires me to be on my phone half the Time. So after that I told her what happened I was locked out I was just telling my wife what she need to get not even an apology from her So FYI Maybe if you cared about customer service as much as I did you wouldn't have been such a jerk and I'm Putting it Nicely. And to the other lady When my wife came in To buy the part and told you that you need to be nicer to your costomer well she described you and you weren't the one that was rude to me so I want to apologize to you She was just being a good wife sticking up for me and you weren't the one that very rude and snapped at me it was lady with long hair that was hanging down i just wanna make sure to apologize to you cause you weren't the 1 that was rude. Now that being said I'll Find it somewhere else locally and just go there instead And if No one else has it even though I hate shopping online I'll do it cause I don't wanna go back there sad but stuff like this makes you want to shop online

Was able to find a part no one else in the country had. I am in Ohio. They were terrific. Will look to them first for anything I need in the future.

Dyson had me take my vacuum to The Mending Shed last summer. They repaired it, then the day I got it back it malfunctioned again. I should make clear that the 2nd malfunction had NOTHING to do with the Mending Shed. It was a one in a million type situation where some of the electronics burned out. Took it back to the Mending Shed, they diagnosed the issue, ordered parts, didn't make me jump through the Dyson hoops, just fixed the problem. They were fantastic. I will be a customer of theirs from now on and would happily recommend them to anyone. Vacuum has worked like a charm ever since.

I have a Ryobi pressure washer that is not working. I called and was informed they would work on the pressure washer. I drove 40 minutes, one way, to drop off the item. Upon arrival I was then informed they do not work on Ryobi gas engines. I was furious and said I just drove 40 minutes and they guy looked at me as said "oh well". What a joke. I will never go back there. They could have cared less they just wasted 80 minutes of my time.

While they had the PC Control Part for our older KitchenAide Pro Mixer in stock and that solved the problem (based on my own analysis), their service level on urgent response doesn't match the need. My request and additional payment for shipment did nothing but add expense and time to the process. Do NOT pay for expedited shipment as their courier is USPS and neither they nor Mending Shed staff will meet the need for delivery & if anything goes wrong on shipping they don't respond or bother to assist the process (or remediation if called for). They may have the needed part if others do not, but their lackluster service would lead me to look at others first next time to find the component before ordering here.

Worst store and customer service ever part was a couple days late on return never been installed over 100 part had to eat the cost working part that they sold me wouldn't even except it. Worst customer service ever!!!!!!

Great place to get the odd part you need. Had a problem with my microwave and they had the shielding I needed. Also needed a part for my Dyson vacuum that was not listed online and they were able to order it for me. Great customer service and now my place to go before checking online.

Not open Sunday's or passed 5:30, this is terrific for all those who work regular business hours. You know 9-5. They gotta heating elements and a little of everything

This place is always a life saver. If they don t have the piece you need, they will order it in, and it only takes a couple of days to get in.

I ve been bringing things to them for many years! Besides being very friendly, they always know what to do, figure it out if they don t at first, or give you an honest opinion if it can t be be repaired. This time they took care of my Dyson vacuum; no paperwork, no frustration, no fighting with Dyson. The Mending Shed handled it all. (They even gave me a loaner vac while they fixed mine.)

I don't write reviews that often but this one deserves a review. After being referred to the Mending Shed by my mother AND grandma for a service that they both had gotten done there before, I called to make sure they were still doing it. After I explained that my mother and grandmother had done it there before, very nicely to the lady on the phone, she became very rude and cut me off for literally no reason. Later to find out she was the OWNER. Not a great way to run a business and terrible customer services. I am still blown away that someone could act like that after talking to someone for literally less than 30 seconds for no reason. Will not be using their services any longer.

They have awesome service! I gave them my vacuum and they did it so quickly and so effectively it was great. They are really upfront about the price and about their ability to fix something. Would definitely recommend to others.

They said 1or 2 days until my elextric scooter will be done, we called to ask 2 weeks later ,they said nexed monday, so we waited for a call , Nothin, then we called to see, now Wednesday night or Thursday morning thats as far we are we. wii find out

My go to for parts. Especially, the odd, rare, or unusual. They are always good for common machine and appliance parts, too. They can order most things they don't have on hand.

Took my air compressor in to have a drain valve replaced. I had the part, but thought it would be a bigger issue then it was. They fixed it right then and there and sent me on my way. The staff was very friendly and professional. I had a great experience and would recommend anyone to the mending shed for their repair needs!

We love this place! We bought a snow-cone machine at the Mending Shed along with all the syrups, cups, and straws. Our kids did several snow-cone stands this summer and absolutely loved it. We love supporting family-run local businesses like the Mending Shed.

Edited from a poor review. They have remedied the issue that I was facing with shipping costs to Canada. I very much appreciate their prompt response. Though I find my parts domestically for this project, I will be turning to mending shed in the future.

We brought our kitchenaid in to be repaired and heard nothing for a week. We called and were told the repair was going to be $190. We authorized it and a part was ordered--supposedly. A week later I called again and was told the exact same thing. Again, I asked them to please get the part and make the repair. Heard nothing from them all week. Called the following week and was once again given the same story. At that point we said forget it and picked up the mixer, having had absolutely no repairs. My husband found a video online, took the mixer apart, ordered the broken piece, and had it fixed in a few days (about a half an hour of actual labor) for less than $20. We'd used the Mending Shed before but are extremely disappointed with both service and prices this time around.

I just went there for a furnace part - who knew they carried these? I was happily surprised. I know several family members who go to the Mending Shed for repairs. The only thing I wasn't elated about was the cashier.

These guys are great! I bring tools and appliances here for repair.

I worked here during college and had a life changing experience working with this family. The service they provide is still relevant today and necessary to keep my appliances, tools, ride on toys and other items running. Their prices are competitive and willingness to help troubleshoot is priceless. I prefer to shop local always over supporting Amazon or even another online retailer that won't give you the level of service you can get at the Mending Shed.

I am disappointed with this company. I ordered an item online from them and it took 28 days for them to ship the item out. I had to call in twice for them to tell me that the item was backordered. They offered nothing to make things right with me. Customer support even answered the phone with a "Yeah?" Unimpressive by all counts.

I have been going here for years and it is one of my favorite stores in the valley. They check my pressure canner for free every year. They have parts for all my household appliances and are good about answering questions. Everyone is friendly.

My only complaint is they aren't open on Saturday's which would make it so much easier for me.

The service was incredible here. I needed a part to fix my A/C on Friday and the helpful employee found the part and ordered it with the promise that it would arrive first thing Monday morning. I then got a text later that day that she had found the part locally, and it had been delivered and was ready for pickup. Above and beyond what was expected, and DEFINITELY appreciated.

Very helpful and found the part I needed for a tool that is no longer manufactured. Good to deal with a local business.

Fantastic resource. Fixed my 20-year old KitchenAid with their parts about 5 years ago, and when another part wore out, fixed it again with help from the Mending Shed. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

So I have a kitchen aid mixer that came a little bit offset. Basically, the whisk just didn't reach as far down as it should've. Just a minor issue. It was still completely usable. We took it into the mending shed to see if they could fix it, and they were able to get it done in about a week. A couple days later, I used it for the first time, and it was broken. The whisk did reach down to the bottom of the bowl, but they had completely broken the motor. Now, if you turn it on, it doesn't spin like it should. The motor just sits and grinds. This is in no way a factory issue. It has worked flawlessly for 5 years, and the same week we get it back from the mending shed it's completely useless. We took it back to them and told them what happened, but they insisted that it was our fault, and that they couldn't have possibly made a mistake and broken it. They also wanted another $150 to "fix" it after they had broken it. They didn't even try to help in any way. I'm going to order the parts from another business that is actually trustworthy and try to fix it myself. No matter what I do to it, the results will be better than what they gave me. So basically, they broke a $600 mixer and insisted that it was somehow our fault. DO NOT support this business. They don't care about helping you. They just want your money and have AWFUL customer service. Look at every other 1 star review. I have literally no trouble believing any of them. PLEASE go somewhere else if you want results that are even halfway decent. Why is there no 0 star option? They don't even deserve 1. Also, look at how badly the owner is treating other customers just because they're trying to help other people not have the same bad experience. Nobody who actually cares about helping their customers would do that. Anybody who really cares would try to actually do something about it instead of giving a reply along the lines of "Well, its not my fault that I screwed up. You're just a horrible customer. Please do come give me more money so I can screw you over again." Who does that? I'd be willing to bet money that I'm going to get some rude reply telling me all about how it's really my fault that they broke my mixer. 0 stars

Love this place! You can find some of the cutest kitchen gadgets. Their customer service is exceptional.

I will never go back to them and would not recommend this place to anyone. I special ordered a part for my washer they told me it had to come from China and would take 4-6 weeks and I had to pay upfront. Six weeks later I called them asking about it , I was told it was on as cargoship with no tracking and they would call me when it arrived... Every few weeks I would call and get the same response 3 1/2 months later I'm outraged, I go in and ask to speak to a manager explain the situation she calls her distributor and is told the part was discontinued..... I went 3 1/2 months without a washer spent hundreds at a laundrymat just too find out the part wasn't coming. Why did it not reseve a phone call? Was the part discontinued when I ordered it? They do not care about there coustumers once they have your money. The gave me a refund but they didn't make it right. My biggest concern with the company is why did I have to contact the owner, why are they not following up on outstanding orders?

Colleen was great...I ordered parts for my Kitchen Aid Pro 600 got the parts no problem, and fixed my mixer myself! Mending Shed was about $20 less than everywhere else and they were great! Great place to work with and Colleen knew exactly what I needed to fix my mixer. I saved myself about $300!

Took 6 weeks to get my drill replaced. If I hadn't borrowed someone elses I would have had to purchase a new one. They called me once but I had to call them 5 times and they always left me on hold for 5-10 minutes before letting me know what was going on. Very unorganized. They never apologized for leaving me on hold or for the lack of communication. Who knows how long my drill was there they kept telling me that the deliveries come on Tuesdays but told me it was in on special order and came in but then nobody knew where it was. They have lots of miscellaneous parts which they are good for but so is online shopping. Would not recommend for warranty items from the manufacturer.

They have been able to fix my clocks every time. I am very thankful for what they have done for me

The people at the Mending Shed can fix the things you thought no one could fix. We have used them for fixing a big clock, repairing a battery and charger on a Razor Scooter and finding parts for an electrical food service hot bix. They can do it all!

They couldn't fix my blender motor, but we're able to tell me lots of stuff about it...

They fixed my hair clippers quickly. Colleen was super helpful and patient.

They have some racket going on with Johnstone Supply. You can buy from Johnstone Supply (wholesale only) through the Mending Shed. Johnstone gave me the wrong part number. The mending shed probably took 100% mark up on the part then wouldn't let me return it when the part was wrong! Worst experience ever! Now I have a useless part I paid way too much for.

Very Disspointed in the service that I recieved from The Mending Shed! I brought in my fridge to have it looked and and hopefully fixed. They were unable to fix it. I went back to pick up my fridge and the service man helped push my fridge to the bed of my truck then dropped it down to the ground. There are multiple dents, scratchs and scuff marks all over my white fridge. I am extreamly glad that it did not cost me much more than $20, or else I would be even more upset than I am now. I used to love The Mending Shed, but after the service that I recieved, I doubt I will ever return.

This is the worst company I have EVER had to deal with in my life. They have the most pathetic workers in the nation. I spent 3 hours trying to call them and no one answered. I would never ever recoment someone uses this company.

I just called in and the lady did everything she could to help me figure out the problem before I just go and purchase a pump through them. I was way impressed with them trying to save me money. Thank YOU!!!!!

It's been about two years, but after reading mostly positive and some of the negative reviews, I wanted to share our experience. The door button on our Kitchen Aid built in microwave broke, so we were unable to open the door or use it. We contacted the appliance repair guy who had worked on our dishwasher and were told that model couldn't be repaired. What?? Contacted the Mending Shed and they said to bring it in. A week later or so we had our microwave back with a functional door which has worked perfectly since. Great to have this resource in our community.

Above and beyond customer service! I went in not knowing what was wrong with my dryer, gave them a picture of the inside wiring and a model number and the women helping me was able to instantly see that my issue was related to one of 3 parts. She printed out a diagram of my model with each part identified and told me that in her opinion it was just a cheap wire that needed replacing but if that was wrong, I should bring in the other potentially broken parts and she'd test them for me. She was absolutely right about the wire and for just $6 I was able to get my machine working again. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly service.

I m glad this place is here. Twice now I ve benefited from having a well-stocked store close by with the parts I needed in stock when I didn t have time to wait to order something online.

52.00 ON TWO PARTS NO REFUND .was not told this on over the phone purchase.was able to fix my swamp cooler for 15.00 for the same bearings.took to long to deliver. They refunded my cash ok good stuff.
