Nice stage, great sound and great people. You only have to stop that compulsory membership, it smells of scams.

It would be nice if the room went one step backwards so that people could see more, especially when the room was too full. Also the front part at the lockers is really difficult to access when everyone walks there. No clear direction. Sound was good.

Great venue. I really hope to be able to photograph some bands here soon.

Was there on a Saturday night -Encore Party- hiphop and r&b, really cool! Definitely coming back

Standing in front probably has to do with it but I think the sound balancing in front could be a bit better since the singer is almost inaudible.

Came to visit the singer EDEN and immediately fell in love with the city Amsterdam and this exact location.

It's really one of the best cities I have ever visited and the people are so friendly.

The main hall is spacious. Well chilled even when it sold out last night. The sound is great for dance music. Nothing shrill or painful to the ear. Hope that house parties will take place more often.

Cozy atmosphere and beautiful performance. Lockers for your jacket and things. Well organised.

It's a great venue near one of the famous squares in Amsterdam (het Leidseplein). Audio quality is great, the hospitality of the hosts is awesome and concerts are very decently priced.
So far, my experience with visiting concerts here is phenomenal!

We went to Enrique Bunbury's concert, a small venue with great acoustics. Good atmosphere.

Make sure you have ID no matter what age you are you won't get in without it

Keep it a bit of an underground bunker in comparison with Paradiso

Worst venue experience in Amsterdam - no pin for wardrobe, too little space in the hallway, and worst of all I felt like a sardine in a can during the concert. Won t come again.

Great venue the milkway (melkweg) sound system and lightshows are always intense... Great location..... Two great rooms and upstairs and downstairs..... Searches are good if you know what I mean free to roam the raves

The music was bad, nowhere to sit. Although the entrance fee was 10 only stayed 10 minutes...

Great concert hall, acoustics sufficient, toilet neat, wardrobe correct, range of beers quite good. Unfortunately no Amsterdam beers like Brouwerij 't IJ. Obligation: temporary membership.

Very nice room for concerts. There is a nice atmosphere and you can really have contact with the artist because of the relatively small rooms. Outside, however, there is chaos due to the limited space for forming space.

Top location where you can still affordably go to a concert. Cozy and intimate that is the Milky Way for me

Each time in Amsterdam, if it s about clubbing, I recommend soiree encore@melkweg. Just feels like everyone is there for the music and nothing else. Highly highly recommend if fond of r&b

Trash music, trash people. If you are not completely wasted or a 20 years old exchange student, avoid this place in any way you can.

Well organized but very expensive there. And membership for 4 euros is just money. It is not explained what this brings.

I was not allowed to enter the club after 3 a.m. even with the ticket. WTF?!

Cool venue that felt small without feeling overly crowded, but the bar in the same place as the stage made for people being really loud even during softer songs.

First experience at a gig in Amsterdam, smashed anything the UK had to offer.

Not too big informal music temple that can hold up to 1500 people. I recently visited a Jonathan Jeremiah concert. Was very good. Pleasant ambience. You can stand in front of the stage in the hall. You can also go to the first floor and find a spot there. Below are 2 counters where you can buy drinks. You can pay with a PIN. There are lockers where you can store your belongings. Costs 2, -.

Really good organisation, could get in quickly because of the skip the line passes. Really saves a lot of time, but kind of weird it's nigh required to buy those to have a nice experience.

This venue is super cute and cozy, they host rock bands and it's right in the center of everything. Highly suggest this place and cant wait to come back

Be prepared to pay for everything. Entrance, toilets, cloakroom, lockers. Floor was so sticky last time I went there I couldn't walk comfortably lol

One of the most vibrant venues for parties and concerts in the city

I have been coming to the Melkweg for years and I am definitely a fan of this place. The quality of the sound is always sublime and the Melkweg always knows how to book good artists. The facilities are good, the prices of the drinks are reasonable and the staff are friendly. The only downside I can mention is that it is often very busy at concerts, so you are close to each other. Perhaps it is an idea to sell slightly fewer tickets.

I go here quite a lot for concerts and i love it. The music is always well mixed to the point i usually dont need earpieces. Also its very affordable.
