The shows are nice, but the membership policy makes things a bit more complicated (and expensive).

Only started to be interested in large-scale party after visiting this place hahah

Amsterdam would not be complete without this pop stage, many great artists have performed here.

I am coming to this club already more than 5 years, regularly. Unfortunately I notice the decline in quality and service more and more.
The club is really nice when you go and see performers, however if you want to attend the regular late night parties the club is becoming horrible.
The service is really bad, especially good portion of the security. They are always rude and not willing to help you.
Even trying to ask them something makes the edgy and they are ready to fight with you or chase you out of the club. This is simply unacceptable and the management should do something about it. Without the guests the bouncers will be just bunch of unemployed gorillas

Alway a great place for a concert. Great bar, great sound and easy acces.

The concert hall on the water! One of the things so envious and lovely about Amsterdam is that it's like melkweg!

Nice place to go see bands but the wifi is terrible

Awesome venue! Perfect for smaller intimate performances. It was an old milk factory so it s very unique. I saw Slightly Stoopid here with my friends and it was amazing! Such a good vibe no need to push up front! Would go back to this venue for another performance.

Little dark with the wardrobes, really had to look for a while but got help, luckily. Beautiful room, not too warm, which is often the case with this type of construction. Near the Museumplein; Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Concertgebouw, and near the Leidseplein

The guard at the door was very Rude!! I am death and he compleined at the the fact that It was dificult for me to understand what he was saying

Only came in an hour after the doors were open while I was pretty much at the front of the line (compared to the entire line). the compulsory membership is also very strange. Still the room was very nice!

Beautiful leading pop stage with top sound system and live / party experience.

The concert was well organized, everything was streamlined at the entrance. Good experience

Concert venue with a nice club feel, located in the heart of Amsterdam. There are actually three stages here with various sizes. Programming is very diverse. Cueing can be a bit messy, especially when there are three popular shows on the same evening. Each stage has at least one bar in the room. Since the wardrobe area is close to the exit, leaving the venue immediately after the show is not easy. Better to have another drink and hang around a bit more!

It's always good to be back at melkweg; one of the most beautiful club in Amsterda. Lot of space to move, lot of lockers; big restorooms so you don't need to queue; a great experience overall

Great venue for concerts - it can get some long lines :)
In the evenings depends on the nights, but its usually a fun place to go!

Last there in 1981 great two weeks of smoke and music.

Techno Tuesdays are amazing.
I have been several times now and always have a great time.
Meet great people and have a blast.
Great venue also has a smoking room.
Highly recommend if your not busy on Tuesdays to go have fun.
Also I hear cheeky Monday s is another good day to go to Melkweg really good vibes and some drum and bass music. Have fun.

One of the best venues in the Netherlands. The main venue has one big dance floor and 2 levels of balconies above that. The sound and lighting are good quality.

Very nice place to see my first Quicksand show ever. Be carefull if it is the first time you go there, there are 2 stages ... one on the left and one on the right !!! Security peolple do not check where you should when you validate your ticket !!! and it is not very clear when you get into Melkweg for the first time

Last night concert Mens by Wende Snijders. Was incredibly overwhelming; more of this please! About the location: Nice entrance outside, stuffy inside, traffic circulation poor, noise from the various bars during soft passages, poor parking nearby. Not recommended.

I have done hundreds of Shows internationally and this was 1 of the most professional and hospitable venues I've ever had the pleasure of performing at.

Top accommodation for small / medium size performances. When you leave the room there is a hellish bustle, maybe something can be done about this.

Required Buy a one-month membership? That is just a gross load that makes no sense.

Except for the beers (Jupiler) one of my favorite places to see a concert. Especially in the small room.

Fun and chike disco with the right party, this is a great location to go crazy

Also a cinema room.
In the main auditorium, elevations on the side are such that you can look well over the audience.
You have a good view of the stage from the balcony around the room.

Great pop / rock temple !!!! Nostalgia is dripping from it.

Best place for a concert especially in the small room

If the security does not fit your nose, you fly out for no good reason and under an excuse. It's better to go around this location! A star is still too much.

Shame you need to pay an additional fee to even get inside, alongside your ticket. The place itself is nice and the concert was great

This is a great venue. The staff was very friendly, the hall was clean when we entered and the show we came for was awesome. The music goed very loud, you definitely want to bring some ear protection. This also means that you can feel the bass very well and you get super hyped up. Great place.

Okay venue. I had been to the band Kamelot and it was a super performance. Unfortunately, the sound was really dredging in every way. The programs did not sound like anything at all. Kamelot still had reasonable sound but not what you would expect. Also the location (Amsterdam) is nothing at all, especially on Saturday.

One of the best places to go dancing in Amsterdam. The earlier you go, the shorter the queue is usually. I like that they have lockers. They have a smokers lounge upstairs. Toilets are paid.

A great performance from Blue October! And of course there are also other fun events here regularly. With the different rooms, there is something for everyone to find. It is a pity that you have to purchase a separate membership per performance / party / event, which can sometimes indicate a misleading price for the price of the ticket.

Great rooms and accommodation with often good sound. It is a pity that in addition to a ticket, a membership of 4 is required.

A pair of good halls where the atmosphere, lighting, and the sound all work together to give you a night you won't forget. It can get a bit cramped in some halls though. But you won't mind when you get blown away by the awesome sound.

The sound is good, the atmosphere fine, but they do have some serious issues with crowd control. Especially after the concert, when some people want to leave, and others want to get their coats, crushing situations may occur. Very stupid to have the exit and wardrobe in opposite directions. I recommend either leaving early, or waiting a little while longer.

I was in the disco for the New Year's Eve party. With 3 Dancefloor for 3000 visitors also the hippest disco of Amsterdam, for locally unkempt but somewhat hidden. The entrance is quite expensive with 45 euros in advance sale or 55 euros. The price at the cloakroom with 2Euro human. Drinks cost about 8 euros depending on your request. From 22 o'clock is the queue with 30 minutes expected.

Very good with locker boxen to rent and all Kind of good Drinks,friendly helpfull stuff
