Decent place, but have to pay to use the toilets after you pay to get in...

Melkweg always guarantees a top evening. In the alternative styles music offers a lot of offers for normal prices. You can not see that anywhere in Amsterdam.

Another phantastic show of Dweezil Zappa at 25JUL18!

Went there for techno Tuesday with a couple friends turned out to be a great night. The DJ was amazing entrance was free and it stayed open late (5 in the morning)

Usually good mainstream music. Upside different floors with different music if you're lucky

The place is not great, but atmosphere and ambiance is super. Certainly if there is a band playing with as much power and positive energy as THE WU !!!

Always check the website for a nice concert. Not too massive.

Went to see Last Dinosaurs in December upstairs. Quite a small room but being able to get so close to the band was a great feeling. Had an amazing vibe that night. The sound guys were very good. If you're wanting more bass then I suggest not standing right at the front in the middle

I was at the melkweg in April this year for the cannabis cup, I must say that it is a fairly large and well-structured structure, too bad that at this event only the ground floor was used.

Amazing place for all kind of music events. Huge veriety of music, with an atmosphere that is always enjoyable.

Concertgebouw in the center of Amsterdam. Friendly staff at the entrance. Small room with a good atmosphere. The people who were there all came to enjoy and make a party out of it. Sound is fine, fairly pure and not too loud or too soft. Downstairs is the dance floor and on both sides there is a balcony. From which you have a good overview of the entire room. Had a good evening with the NPG concert. 5 stars for the Melkweg.

Nice location at the Leidseplein. Despite the huge crowds quickly inside. Staff at the bar are friendly.

Old room very pleasant, Max is unfortunately too busy when sold out. Staff and security super relaxed.

Remains great to visit a gig in the Melkweg! Rag n Bone Man KILLED IT !!! I'm glad we saw him in the little hall before he became the star he is now.

Visiting a performance at the Melkweg is always something special. Rag 'n Bone Man killed it ... So smooth we got to see him in the small hall, before he became the huge star he is today.

Amazing venue for ADE this year especially Dave Clarke s night and Hospitality night. Very friendly staff too!

They often cram it fuller than it should be, staff is ok, especially if they don't take all food out of your bag;)

I had my first gig there recently and it was a great experience. The place is small and gets a bit crowded. The sound was good but not as good as other venues I've been to. The beer is not too expensive and they serve you fairly quickly considering how busy it can be. I'm looking forward to going back!

Improved lockersystem. Quicker check in. Sound quality lacks a bit when room got fuller. In comparison with paradiso the sound quality isn't great in the biggest stage. However top notch quality sound in the stage upstairs.

What a venue for clubbing and partying... really loved it. Also a huge place with nice areas and stages.

A larger room than Paradiso. Good light effects and sound. We found the location itself less easy to find.

Sold out means 25% too many people. Too busy. Too bad otherwise .

lockers are 2 euros cash (one coin). wardrobe is 1.50 per jacket and 2 euros per bag, cash only as well. i believe there are pinautomaten but im not sure, also the wardrobe can get really busy so do yourself a favor and bring a 2 euro coin for the lockers. otherwise great intimate venue with some very nice acts.

Nice location unfortunately parking in the area very expensive. Logical because in the heart of Amsterdam but still.

Great legendary concert hall in Amsterdam. Always interesting groups at reasonable prices.

The upper floor is so handy and just as good sound quality

In a Japanese club, it sounds like a liquid room or WWW.

intimate and welcoming, Melkweg is a great alternative to bars and clubs that host touring artists by giving you the space to watch them perform but keeping the bar, smoking area, and bathrooms fully separate, making the space one where the only thing to see is the artist and the crowd.
bar prices are decent, selection isn't huge but its not a place for complex drinks and the entrance was easy enough. coat check was efficient but there is no order and that can cost you some time, especially not ookay when they charge for it

If you have an expensive ticket you also have to become a member on the spot or you will not enter.

Best music venue in the Netherlands! Really all emerging good acts are here. Many top bands from the United States too.

Great room. Too bad it's so far from the station and that you have to take a subscription next to your ticket.

Very beautifull. Every time I am in Amsterdam I come to see a concert. Easy to reach by transport. Smoking area. Bring water from outside because a bottle costs more than 3

A classic club in Amsterdam, almost next door to the ultimate classic: Paradiso, and nowadays with even more halls/dancefloors than they used to have. Often great concerts here so do check on the schedule. (Cheap) year membership gets you in for free a lot!

Absolutely an amazing venue to catch a show with a super helpful and friendly staff. I look forward to visiting again!

I was charged an additional 4 euro membership fee at the door that I was not made aware of when buying a ticket to my event.

Other than that the place was nice. No seating.
