This is a nice club and I was only upstairs. The sound system was really good. The atmosphere was friendly and lively. The acts were pretty good too the night I went as well. They had a friendly bar staff as well. While not the best venue I have been too globally, it is one of the better ones.

I enjoyed the music. The staff was polite. The Melkweg was a great experience!

Very friendly staff, overall great experiences in the concerts I had so far. They should open the parasoles more when it's raining.

It is of course just to which concert you go ... you have to love your friend, but as a pop temple in the Netherlands I like to come. Sound quality is very good in most cases.

Great venue, but they really need to change their entrance policy. Waiting more than 90 minutes to get in is not ok.

Both room for craziness and normal parties. Very interesting location.

Just bought surprisingly comfortable earplugs here, great service.

One if the few intimate places, with Paradiso, where you still can experience real music and live atmosphere as it should be.

Great building! Lots of great memories! Location is great, in the heart of Amsterdam so I stayed a lot before the show and afterwards too! You really feel like a tourist here if you don't live in the area . As people may already know, there can be a line before a show / performance starts .. putting up a jacket / bag is going smoothly! Retrieving things afterwards can sometimes take a while since there are many people waiting in the hall at the same time .. Standard ritual . Oh and public transportation is a must.

Great place for concerts ... The venue also has an impressive wardrobe ... The stage is higher than the standard and therefore even the lowest people see very well ... Inside beer at a great price

Nice club for a rave for the young or young at heart.

Very cool place it is very big with a spacious main area and a decent sized upstairs. The sound system is powerful as well as the coordinated lights complimenting the sound as you dance to the techno that pumps fevereshly from the speakers. Techno Tuesday is a great expierience as you will feel like it is Saturday with all the people and the fact the does'nt close till 5 am.

Melkweg was amazing, I visited the monstercat and bitbird show at ADE 2018

Nice rooms and good sound! But you really have to abolish this compulsory membership and simply lower it to 1 and add it to the ticket price. At the moment my preference is really for example to Tivoli where you do not pay membership and there is also a free gadarobe. The lockers afterwards at the Melkweg are really chaos by all people who come from all sides.

Great venue. Like visiting a health spa compared to fabric in London

Saw the band Shinedown in the bigger hall here. It's pretty cool, although a little on the small side. Bars are conveniently located along the back and one side, everything went very smoothly, from toilet visits to handing off and receiving coats from the garderobe.

TOP Spot highly recommended especially on Tuesday night

You pay subscription for a month even for one concert... Unecessary.

Nice casual place with good live performances. In the middle of the city there is plenty to do when you step outside.

Went to the small club upstairs. Nice and chatty people - acoustics are good and lighting isn't too in your face.

Remains a fantastic location. I had a little bit to do with the wardrobe crew.

Great (historic) venue for concerts/events. Located in old city centre. Easy to find, parking is a bit of a challenge. Better you'd park in a garage, costs 5-6 /hour (on streets even more!).

Drinks paid in cash or card, multiple bars.

Last week we went to the Lil Mosey show, it was easy to come in, order tickets and fix the locker, there was a nice atmosphere inside.

I was there on Saturday 3rd of June and I won't come back again. I didn't like that after you buy the ticket there's a control of bags, something that you don't know neither they tell you (anyway I have no problem with it)So there's this lady that asked me to open my bag and I did so, then she introduces her hand inside and starts stirring to see what's inside. After that she yelled at me asking if she can have the bag, so I loose the bag on the table and wait for her to finish when she asks me "if I have a problem" with a menacing tone. I was shocked by her attitude and told her o didn't say anything and she responded "I see your body language and Bla Bla Bla...." and behaving nervous and defiant.
I don't know what was the problem but what I know it's that I like nice working people and I don't tolerate this kind of behaviour from somebody who's working.

Far too full. Event was sold out, so they had bought way too many tickets. A lot of grumpy people because nobody has space. You also have to buy a crazy membership on top of your ticket.

If you have the chance, go to another concert hall because it didn't make sense.

Went out for the Encore night and I had a really good time. A spacious club and the DJ was just playing banger after banger.

Superb conference complex in the middle of Amsterdam. Well arranged, even when there are multiple performances at the same time. Reasonable prices for drinks.

Complex with several concert halls box of all styles of Frenchies also from time to time. Bars close to the public near stage .the concert finished they spend the zic

I ve been going to Melkweg since 2013, and loved it ever since.
If you re into urban, hip hop, latin and underground music, this is your spot. Every Saturday that is - ask for Encore.
Personally I believe this is where the most creative people get together. There s just so many people from different backgrounds and just come together at Melkweg and forget about everything.

Very good club, great concerts! Good atmosphere and varied musical styles.

Music venue where I have seen a lot of bands performing. The bar is quite pricey but the atmosphere is generally very good.

Large room, well organized and everything works great!

First time at the Melkweg, in the Max hall, good mid-range capacity. Sound was good, bar was fine. The locker/merch hall was a bit small, making it difficult to leave when you re in a hurry.

Great small venue. Im not a fan of stairs on the dancefloor though. There are no tokens for drinks but you can use your card for the bar.
Also, plenty of lockers available for 2 euro

The quintessential Amsterdam music venue. I met my S.O. in the balcony of the oude zaal. We've been together more than 15 years. :)

Nice concert hall, very pleasant, top programming, cheap beer and pleasant staff

Great place for events and concerts. Beverages aren't that expensive and there's a wardrobe that requires a small fee (2eu?).
