I gave them a 1 rating...it should be ZERO. The property management rarely answers the phone. They messed my auto pay file up two times leaving me battling late payment issues. There is no consistency in manager at properties. They take advantage of the college age students as they attempt to gauge money from suspect damages assessed. They do not properly follow the Arizona Residential Landlord and Tenant Act in many respects. The problem is this company has taken over Flagstaff college housing. Their unscrupulous ethics in dealing with tenants is part of their business culture so good luck. Be aware. Make sure you have every t crossed and i dotted because you just might get screwed! MAJOR SUGGESTION: Ask for manager to do walk through with you at move in and move out!!! Take pictures with date stamp when moving out and submit them upon turning in your keys! VERY IMPORTANT so they don't try to collect $$$$ after you have left the area. According to some lawyers in Arizona, they have a bad reputation, and you really have to be aware.

I will NEVER rent from or recommend this predatory...

I will NEVER rent from or recommend this predatory company ever again!! I am now homeless with a 17 year old son because this company is holding my credit hostage saying I owe them $2,717 for not giving a 30 day notice of moving out over a year ago. I was on a month to month basis because I had fulfilled the terms of my lease and in the year that I rented one of their properties I had so many problems with the property manager I had to go through the corporate office for basic communication. I even rented another apartment that was $600 more per month from the same company and the property manager claimed they had no idea where I was. How is this possible when renting from the same exact company??? 2 days before I moved out the manager quit and my 30 day notice magically disappeared. The apartment was not damaged and minimal cleaning was required. They are claiming I owe $1,800 for not giving a 30 day notice and $900 for damages and fees. I am contacting legal counsel and plan to sue this company!!!

Don't turn your back on them, they will screw you over. Lousy customer service at MEB Management. Called with a complaint, and they really are not competent to help. Got the run around, and never heard back from someone named Lisa. I guess minions like myself don't deserve a callback. One day this Lisa character will need someone else's help. I wish her better service than she is willing to dispense. She doesn't really deserve a whole star, I give her 1/8 star just because I am a generous person.

This past months billing went fine. The two months prior and periodically before that not so good. When I receive my detailed rent statement a few days before the end of the month I like to go on line and pay it using the Borgata web pay. Unfortunately, all too often, either nothing is yet posted or only the base rent amount is listed. I end up going back to the website once a day and the twice a day as the end of the month approaches. The longest delay was the afternoon of the first of one month. I have called the office and they say well it takes a while for all the rent elements to post in the system?????? It is all in the statement. Oh, that's a different office - who I have got to guess has preferred acess to the information. Don't treat me like an idiot!

I love everything about living here at LaBorgata. The office staff and maintenance guys are awesome. My one complaint is about the pool.....I use it 4 to 5 times a week. Lately there have been bird droppings all over the chairs, the pool deck and in the pool itself. This is because the trees overhang the pool and also block the sun. I have had the birds "poop" on me while sitting in a chair. There are overhanging trees on both sides of the pool. Its a health issue as well as an visual problem. Since you asked........ Thank you for raising the rent $115 over what I was paying being a single parent and all! Also, I never received my renewal notice until 5 days before the end of the Month. Way too make an impression on those residents who cannot afford almost $1000 rent. Looking for a new apartment has been difficult and I had to re-sign with your apartment complex because i cannot afford for my son and I to be homeless again.

Also, instead of sending out a form agreement saying "Hey. were your new managers?" Why not give us residents ample notice( like a couple months) that you will be taking over the community. Way to shine!

Definitely glad I did not move into a property managed by this company. I am owed money from an application fee. The check was sent to an out of state address after I informed the office of the tuscano villa apartments in Phoenix, that the address is incorrect and to not send the check there. I would come to the office. They sent the check anyway. My check was fraudulently cashed. I made the necessary steps to have another check issued to me. I'M STILL WAITING. I've contacted office and was told another check was sent out.... WHERE TO? Then a month later I was told the check was returned to the post office..... WHY? Since that info 2 weeks have gone by. This whole situation occurred 3 months ago. I call the property manager number, I get no answer. I know I dodged a bullet if this is how this company operates. I'm going to contact the BBB and see if I can get a response.

Upon move in I was greeted by office staff who knew my name. They knew I was relocating and were wonderful. My move in was over a holiday weekend. Some things needed attention and when I arrived home from work Tuesday they were addressed and fixed. I call that a win! Thank you for making my transition here relatively painless.

The managers of Madera at Metro consider one bedro...

The managers of Madera at Metro consider one bedroom, and studios, family units, caring only about the money, and nothing about the safety, and comfort of the tenants. New managers rotate in all the time, that never leave the office, or return phone calls, or emails. In 6 months, a once a sparkling property, now has a ghetto atmosphere. The pool is green, water and AC, are shut off with no warning, and the apartments are swamp cooled. There are broken gates, screens hanging from windows, garbage on balconies, and patios, and security is non existent. I thought I had excellent relations with MEB until 2 months ago. By paying my rent on time, and never any issues, I thought they would help resolve anything. Maintenance was great.

The complex moved a group of people into a 1 bedroom underneath me, and they block my access to the stairs, by constantly lounging on them. I am disabled, and have a vision challenge.and need the stair rail. When I reported it, the situation just evolved into something ridiculous, and they decided not to renew my lease. That is the thanks MEB gives it's tenants. I will miss Madera at Metro, I loved my unit, as dated as it was. However, no matter how nice the unit, and how nice the management seems to be, if you are afraid to go out your front door, or at night, who wants to live there? This incident will sum up the atmosphere at Madera at Metro.

I went to the window to look at the storm, and there was a Black couple in an embrace, under the parking structure, beneath my balcony. I though is was kind of cute, and all of sudden the woman started beating the crap out of the guy. it lasted a couple of minutes, until the poor guy got away. When you read this review, think to yourself, who would make this up? My neighbor saw it too.

One day, I went to the laundry room, which is pretty nice, and there was a couple, and their pit bull, and their shopping cart. They were sleeping in the laundry room, and acted like I was bothering them. LOL. I have seen teenagers "playing" by the mailboxes. Yeah, sure, they are stealing mail. A week ago someone backed into the parking structure, right by mine, and bent the crap out of the post. I don't think anyone has noticed. There are abandoned vehicles in the lot, and this is just the view from my window. I have to keep the arcadia door locked, and I live upstairs. NO lie. And this blocking the stairs stuff is new. No one ever lurked in stairways before, and it is happening right outside the managers office window. The other night there were two women at the bottom of the steps until after 2 AM. For all I know, they were hookers, and probably new residents as well. LOL.

It is so sad, it was once a beautiful property, with such nice people. The Police helicopter, which was never a visitor before, now seems like a regular attraction. Once the managers leave, this place becomes a free range for anyone to do what they want. I am surprised there has not been a fire. My lease says I have to carry renter's insurance, which I do. $25 a month extra. All of this is because the management of this property are just not doing their job.

It is all women, that never leave the office, and seem to be glued to their smart phones, and computers. Maybe they need some men? LOL! I have also noticed some obtuse accounting irregularities. My utilities are included, yet, I get a bill from something called, ConService. It does seem to be a con. It is the utility company that services this complex. I get a bill, that is never, and never has been what I am supposed to pay, which is nothing. It is a ridiculous concoction of fees, and nothing is backed up by anything. There are no individual electric, or water meters, for the individual units. If there are, give us a meter reading at least.

I am only giving one star, because the option of no stars, or negative stars, is not available. Notice their responses to the other 20 reviews. They are all the same. Lol! Can't wait to move. Have a great day!

This company is a joke the employees are underpaid and undervalued. The best decision I could have made was leaving MEB to work for a better management company from out of state, with free medical, health, dental, and a higher pay . I am currently making more as a technician than my old supervisor who had years working for MEB . Not only did we Get nominated for team of the Year under the company and didn't win, we also got a nomination to the Arizona multihousing association and still had no recognition from our district manager . They obviously play favorites in this company . Our district manager Sandra was all about her leasing staff and never took her time out to even great the maitenance team. After doing so much for that raggedy as property sunset landing I can attest this is not the company for someone to grow in . OH AND THANKS FOR MY 20$ BONUS

The experience that I have had with your managemen...

The experience that I have had with your management & maintenance staff at the park is horrible they don't care about anything but going home it seems we have had many issues getting things done & done correctly then getting excuse after excuse then a bad attitude because they had to come back to fix the problem they created. I still have issues that need addressed but no longer want to deal with any of the people that work here for any reason other than paying my rent. Witch unfortunately I'm stuck here till January. The representatives you have here for your company say a lot about how you all do things and from the other reviews seems like it's a common problem at all you unfortunate properties.

I am moving out of Radius today. I lived at this property while the prior management was here and now MEB. Shelton Was our prior management and the difference is night and day. Ryan and Felix are all stars! They came to this property and truly made all the difference. If the rest of MEB is like Ryan and Felix I can only assume you have the best properties in Phoenix. I am sad to leave. If my job ever transfers me I will be looking to live at an MEB property again. You employee people that really care about others and go above and beyond. Thank you.

In regards to the Chuparosa Apts in Chandler

Meb management recently took over the property from Allison Shelton in November and it has been nothing short of atrocious.

Let's start with lease renewal.... Because of it being a new management company, they are not honoring the rate increase cap that was in your previous rental agreement. We just got our renewal letter in the mail and our base rent is increasing $85 a month is we chose to renew for 12 months (the cap in our lease that they are not honoring was a max increase of $20 a month)

The new staff... The staff, both maintenance and front office can be seen riding around the property smoking in the golf carts. This becomes an issue when they then immediately come into your apartment to do maintenance and carry the cigarette snell in with them. You'll notice the front office now drowns you with the smell of cigarettes when you walk in.

Work orders... The roof leaked back in early December causing water to gather in our ceiling, creating that bubbling effect, and leaking onto our carpet. They have fixed the roof, but have yet to come in and replace the section of drywall on the ceiling that was soaked (I am hoping it hasn't developed mold!)

Overall, we have lived here 2 years and loved it sad to see Allison Shelton management go, we will absolutely be leaving this property and we recommend that you avoid it at all costs.

I have never seen a more dishonest and poorly run ...

I have never seen a more dishonest and poorly run company. They remind me of some of the banks and mortgage companies in 2008 but instead of preditor lending they practice preditor renting. They actually have a monthly set date for court to evict people. I went to pay my last months rent on the 2nd and the office told me to come back later as they were to busy to deal with me. I had to go to work so I didn't get back to the office until the 4th. They told me I owed a 70 dollar late fee because the payment was now late. I refused to pay a 70 dollars late because it wasn't late. In the previous 11 months they took my money from my account on the 5th of each month. Before you know it they served me with eviction papers and a date was set for court. To make a long story short I was charged some ridiculous fees for my last months rent. 200 dollars to clean the carpet in an efficiency suite when every other person that move out of a suite the carpet was replaced with fake hardwood. The refrigerator was scrubbed spotless before I left and they charged 75 dollars to clean it. They charged 25 to take out a black garbage bag. 50 for matress pad and let me explain the room had been sprayed 3 times for bed bugs. That matress had my blood all over it from the bugs biting me. I pray to God they didn't let the next person use it. 200 dollars to paint the room which they would have had to use five gallons or more for that much money. In the end it is something like 1200.00 dollars they say it cost them including my 300 dollars deposit. That room was extremely clean when I left it. They are just outright lying. BTW this place is called Fiesta Village and I would suggest to stay away from this property company as I said earlier they are completely dishonest and seem to be looking for ways to take your money.

Until recently the office staff was always friendly and kept things running smoothly. A lot of improvements were made here. The maintenance guys are first rate and I would give them 5+ stars. Now the office is undergoing remodeling and will look great if the other improvements are an example, but it is dangerous( I use a cane) to try to get my mail due to a large pit by the post office boxes. I hope this gets fixed but a heads up and less obstacles at the PO boxes would have gotten 5 stars all the way across.

MEB needs to be audited by the State. Multiple times, this management overcharged my son and two roommates (college students) - an 'error' when we parents confronted them. How many college students w/o the resources or time or experience to deal with these overcharges have been bilked? I plan to file a complaint with the State Government requesting and audit and an investigation of this company and the management team.

Me and my roommate, we lived in Sahara Apartments in Tucson, AZ for 2 years from 2017-2019. We moved out on May 16th. Still trying to get our deposit back. The office staff are useless. They told us that they sent it and we'll receive it within 2 weeks. When we called the 2nd time they told us we have some unpaid payments and we must provide our receipts to prove that we paid for it. We emailed our receipts and they told us they sent our check for real this time. The third time we called today, it seems like they forgot what happened last time and told us exactly the same thing (We have unpaid payments and we must provide receipts to prove that we paid). We're so frustrated with these people in the office! Are they thinking that if they treat us like this we will give up and forget to get our deposit back? No way! We want our money back! ($245 for each of us + $175 for bicycle deposit = $665)!!!

This review is for when they were running Country Brook Apartments. I wish I would have pressed charges against this place because it would have been a really big lawsuit. The only good thing about living here is the location. Management is cheap when it comes to maintenance requests to the point where I had put in SEVERAL work requests regarding fixing my A/C which was blowing hot air for 7 MONTHS and leaking even in the summertime. I have record of every single maintenance request I had put in in my email and they NEVER replaced my A/C for that whole period of time. My last request even the maintenance guy was like, "this is illegal." And FINALLY put in the request for a new A/C unit to be installed which took forever for them to approve. I did not know my rights at the time but had I known that they had a week to replace it or I could sue them I would have. I still think about it because it absolutely traumatized me and still pisses me off till this day that I put up with that bs. I am still thinking about pressing charges for compensation AT LEAST in regards for being reimbursed in rent for the months I DID NOT HAVE A/C. SEE PHOTOS FOR ALL THE MAINTENANCE REQUESTS (11 of them) I PUT IN FROM MAY THROUGH END OF OCTOBER FOR MY A/C. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAY AWAY.

UPDATE: I called, left a message, and never received a call back from the company. They obviously do not care.

I worked with MEB in Las Vegas. I had heard great things about them in Arizona and was persuaded by my regional manager to apply as a community manager. I was excited to work with them, however I quickly found out that would be a tragic move for me. My Area vice president was not a leader, she was a boss and not adequate to lead the on-site teams to success. She was rude. She lacked humility, was a poor judge of character and all together out of balance. My team was understaffed at a property that was high maintenance with difficult clientele. I begged for help and even talked directly to my upper management team about what the future would hold for us if changes weren't made. I received no help. It was upsetting and frustrating to say the least. I had owner visits and could not express what the real issues were with them due to fear of my vice president. My rights were violated and I even filed a complaint with NERC but again their incompetence showed when no one responded with in the time line they were given. Not a word on their position. I asked the attorney who was helping why did he think they didn't respond and he stated that they sounded like a horribly ran company. This review is not meant to speak bad about those who did help me, mostly in the accounting department in Az and others that know who you are but for those vice presidents that knew of our situation in Las Vegas but did nothing to make change happen. That did not listen nor give us the tools we needed to achieve goals and grow the company. To the owners of MEB the three wonderful women, I was in love with your company upon reading about your core values and meeting you ladies. It is a disgrace what has happened here in Las Vegas.

The apartment itself is ok. It s not the greatest but it s worth the amount paid. The issues are as follows: property management and staff are rarely available and when you do speak with them they treat you as though you are beneath them. Nothing is ever truly fixed. A few months ago we had a new tub put in due to a leak that was going on in the apartment below us. They people came out cut out various sections and holes to try to fix it. Ultimately they just molded another tub over the original and left holes all around the tub with open areas that our kids can be cut on. There are two holes in our kitchen that was cut out to be able to reach into the bathroom those holes are now patched with duct tape. Not to mention that the air and heat system Goes off all the time. During the summer of last year the air was off a lot. One reason was due to someone stealing copper from the system. Are you not able to secure the hvac system in any way? During winter we rarely have heat. Not to mention our water goes off almost every month to fix this ever elusive leak. Sometimes we have to go out and buy water for a couple days because that s the only way we can wash up. The apartment as I said is ok but the area is bad. I know that you re not really upholding a standard but it could really be some things changed. I think that starts with management. We had security for a week or so and we haven t seen them sense so we are back to being unsafe again. We have homeless people trying to break into the apartments here every night. I know a couple apartments down from where I stay we have a couple that are staying there that are homeless people but nothing has come of that. I just think that more can be done to make things better here other than having the staff just collect paychecks. That s about all that goes on. I really see potential here and again the apartment ok it s just the unnecessary extra things that go on here that really has tenants here frustrated

Been at these apartments going on 6 1/2 years and been with the same management team for almost 12 years total i think they are Great! No major issues and the few things we do need taken care of they have done it in a timely manner.

Avilla Grace. What appears to be a beautiful complex turned out to be an absolute nightmare after three months. They advertise 24 hour maintenance. What they mean is they offer maintenance during the week, not on weekends. They also advertise "the home of your dreams and a neighborhood that suits your lifestyle". What a joke.
One gate is open all night, lighting on covered parking (despite phone calls) was out for two weeks making the area VERY dark. Cars have been broken into; one stolen out of the lot. As a woman living alone, I no longer feel safe in my own home.
Marijuana use in the area got out of hand and the police were at my front door accusing me of using marijuana. They found nothing and never will. After being accused, singled out and harassed, I expressed this with the front office who seemed justified that my apartment was visited by the police and admitted they noticed the smell (yet did nothing about it on numerous occasions). Management s solution was to send a friendly reminder letter despite the fact that marijuana usage is grounds for immediate termination.
After calling the management company MEB 9 times, I finally spoke to my attorney about the issues with the complex. After mentioning my lawyer in yet another voicemail, I finally received a phone call from an assistant manager Stephanie. I shared that I am beyond enraged with the poor treatment I have received and was told that the only solution was to spend $2,150+ to break my lease 60 days from now. This is an absolutely shocking and horrendous way to treat tenants. Avilla Grace advertises "you will enjoy a consistent, helpful and stress-free experience whenever you're in contact with us". This complex and management company will be hearing from my lawyer shortly.

We were the first residents to move in at Bella Victoria in 2016. We are blessed to call this place home. It is so close to anything you need with the US 60 being so close to our complex.
The office staff is superb and maintenance is so prompt in taking care of anything you need. Please come take a tour and see what a great place this is to call home.

I just want to express myself what happen to me and my behalf in the last 5 months i was harassed humiliated and disrespected by a neighbor that live just next door to me and i found out just this week monday that they dont even supposed to be leaving there it was a unit intended for an employee that works in the complex but it was a relative instead who was enjoying the privilege they were making the place a drug house where their clientele can hang out and do drugs and the worst part is they were selling it too cars come and go all night long and my wife was so scared because they will bang the wall nightly and i wasn't there because i work at nights they peed on my door wrote nasty words on my door and trash the stairways it was so horrible the only mistake i did was putting my trust to one of there employee who told me countless times rest assured me that he already let the management known regarding the problem and assured me that things are geeting done but the truth is nothing was been done he lied to my face and i was so stupid i stayed there for more than almost 7 years i miss susan she was a doer now the complex is not the way it used to be gated community no its not theres a gate where all this drug fiends comes in and they dont want to fix it it was like now almost 2 years since that gate is broken i called it in but nobody is fixing it period, and ill wait until Friday if they really got rid of those people who harass and humiliated us imagine i let my son stayed to my inlaws because of the drug users that are taking over on my building the manager did something yes she said they are moving how come the furniture and thier stuff is still there??? I saw one of the regular drug buyers yesterday it means they just transferred them on a different unit not banning them from the compound, i want them out and see that unit empty and that employee who lied to me be reprimanded , he didn't know what he did i was stress out and the fear that those peole put on me and my wife still cant sleep at nights and putting our lives in danger, now i want you MEB management to investigate and make me believed that this place is stil safe and reliable those peole who stayed there on 2042 for free ??? I paid my rent on time but for real im always early i want justification on my part call me

We lived at Canyon Vista in Albuquerque and the place was an absolute dump. Meb never took any accountability for anything there. Management rarely in the office during business hours, vagrants and addicts breaking into and sleeping in storage areas between apts and in the laundry room. Water rotted doors from a leak they let go for years to the point where the doors actually fell apart and couldn't be locked. Railings and banisters on the stairs were broken off and never fixed, presenting a giant hazard. Syringes all over the property and police situations, raids, and stand offs CONSTANTLY. Never completed any work orders we put in, including a nonworking bathroom sink that didn't even work when we first moved in and when we moved out 2 years later STILL was not fixed. They also paint the tub and showers with latex paint that bubbles up and peels off. Called corporate quite a few times but since they're in AZ and we're in NM they never cared to do anything. Complete and utter slumlords. They treat the residents like second class citizens. They also served us court paperwork claiming we owed $2,220.00 in unpaid rent (which is almost 4 months in rent) which was completely false, and when the court date came around THEY NEVER SHOWED. Which to me proves they know they're guilty of being slumlords. Don't waste your time or money with this company.

I've been searching for an apartment for a couple months, and I have to say Ryan at Radius has the best customer service in the area. Not only is he friendly and funny but he's well organized and has great follow through. I chose Radius based on his customer service even though other properties had more amenities I was looking for.

I came here from many miles away and without being able to visit before signing. Was a good experience working with Faby and the apartment was what I expected from the pictures. I would certainly recommend anyone needing an apartment to give them a look.

This company is horrific. The staff is incompetent and my rent has changed 4 times i m in a year lease. Poor customer service and overall terrible quality of this organization. Not veteran friendly. Please look to rent from anywhere else it will save you a headache in the end.

Apparently this management company has a contract ...

Apparently this management company has a contract with local tow companies which allow the tow trucks to monitor the premises whenever they feel like it. I was visiting a friend who lives at their University West Apartments in flagstaff, and I was literally parked for an hour when I went outside my vehicle was no longer there. I had to pay $280 to get my vehicle released for something that the driver couldn't even explain to me. He lied at first and said that someone must have called the police department. When I questioned this, he began to retract what he said. When I asked him for the policy or paperwork to outline what violation I committed he sarcastically said, "I don't carry a hundred copies with me." Are you kidding me?!?! Aside from that, I noted that there was another car parked in the same exact spot for over 8 hours and did not have a decal or visitors pass but nothing happened. These companies should not have a policy in place that is inconsistent with how it is applied. There wasn't even a time limit to warn people. And to top it off, the property manager named Tuesday was extremely rude to me when I called her to ask about the policy. She said, "we have lawyers and we are aware of what we are doing! i don't care if your car was towed because I've done it to residents too." It makes me feel nothing short of robbed and scammed that there are people who are profiting from controlling a few parking spaces as they wish. med management should reconsider the way they are doing business when it comes to this. If you're going to have a policy as such in place, be clear about it on the signage. Also have someone who these issues can be escalated to. It's unfair to people!!!!!!

I only rated MEB "1star" because there is not an option to grade them any lower. Very surprised MEB is still in business. They need to be prosecuted for unethical and illegal practices which resulted in many hardships for numerous families including homelessness, illnesses, and death. MEB does not care about the health and safety of their tenants. I live at Bella Victoria in Mesa and when I struggled to get my leaking front door fixed by BV I reached out to them for help. Initially, instead of writing review here about my experience I instead called the number listed in replies below in hopes of being properly assisted. Eventually the door was "fixed" but no remorse or proper offer of compensation was provided for the hell myself and my family have gone through. Oh, those fixes didn't even last two months as my door is already leaking, again for the 3rd time. If you'd like you can read my review on BV's page. I don't enjoy having to do this, I hate confrontation and don't enjoy publicly putting anyone on blast but this is more than warranted.

There are a plethora of other issues but I would run out of characters listing them all. I have lost literally thousands of dollars because of BV and MEB. Why not move you ask? I have a bunch of reasons why but frankly I shouldn't have to. MEB owns a lot of complexes in the area which narrows the selection drastically and moving to a differently owned complex won't guarantee I won't go through this there as well.

Please always make sure to stand up for yourself and don't allow them to gaslight you into backing off wanting to live in a fit and habitable apartment. A quick Google search will show this is actually becoming an issue nation wide - big companies owning multiple complexes with their goal of keeping maintenance costs nonexistent so they can pad their profits. Of course a business needs to make money to stay open but to do so at the expense of their tenants heath and well being is extremely ugly territory to venture into. Regardless of where you live always make sure to fully investigate not only the specific apartment complex itself but the company that owns it as well.

I just cannot believe I am having to write this and deal with it. I first brought my front door to the attention of BV on January 18th, 2019 and I am still having to deal with it.

I am not an unreasonable person. When the drawer in the hall bathroom couldn't be fixed because the unit itself is cheap and wasn't installed properly (BV's words) they never heard a peep out of me again about it. When my blinds again broke after only being used two times and breaking again they never heard a peep from me about that either.

Trying to twist things and put it back on me is completely unacceptable. The district manager never reached out to me to apologize and the woman I was put in contact with at MEB did the very bare minimum when interacting with me on the door issue. I literally wouldn't be able to sleep treating someone this way.

Don t ever rent from an apartment managed by this company unless you like having them steal your money and then give you the cold shoulder. I understand that covid-19 has made communication difficult to some degree. However, this company has gone the route of no communication at all. Their leasing staff is no longer on site, they don t answer the phone at any hour of the day, they don t return voicemail (both on site and corporate), and they don t respond to digital requests through the resident portal. Doesn t sound like any management is going on at all. Disappointed that I have to call this place my home for the duration.

I worked at the Avilla's (never again, poor branding, MEB is not doing the brand any service and NEXMETRO needs to consider there options with other management companies I believe other companies would do a better job Also some of there maintenance supervisor have no business being supervisors as they don't even know the difference between coax cable and romex electrical) over prices apartments for having no amenities to utilize. They claim a community atmosphere but they do nothing within the community. Also all there equipment doesn't ever work at once. Dog park is like a muddy pit. Only one Propane grill has ever worked. I'm speaking from a resident stand point cause I lived there as well. I gave them a second star only cause it was new otherwise they would of received a 1 star. The Avilla's are catching a bad reputation due to the management company. Update MEB doesn't pay their employees there full compensation when they leave their company. (They made it right and paid my pto) They are a very vindictive bunch.

Horrible Management company stay away!! False advertising seems to be their middle name. They advertise their apartments with pictures of units that don;t even exist. After I questioned the property manager about this, all she said was" I'm sorry and do realize that the pictures on our website can be misleading". Can you believe it? After asking for a full refund they refused! MEB hasn't heard that last of this. I'm contacting the BBB to file a formal complaint. STAY AWAY!!!!

Follow up to MEB"S response: It's funny, I tried calling and left several messages at the number you listed in your response. Also went as far as emailing Holly's manager to discuss the issue further and to this day, I haven't received any call back. So if you truly care about the image of MEB I think you would have called me by now.

I have been trying to get a hold of some one regarding some serious issues with Alantra Apartments for 3 days in a row, constantly calling and leaving messages, this is unsettling!
I ve also sent an email to Lisa Ashley I was given by Jo(the lady that answers the phone sometimes, with me having to call 2-4 times in a row just to get some one to answer) that included a complete description of the issues I have as well as pictures and a recording of front office staff interaction that represent the type of unprofessional service they provide. So sad that they continue to collect rent while having such little regards for the residents.

Reading the reviews is very discouraging! At this point it feels like I will need to escalate my concerns to the BBB and possibly take legal action. It s disturbing that for what seem like 4 months everyone is having quite a hard time receiving communication and resolutions on behalf of MEB. The number they provide in response to poor reviews is the exact number anyone is able to look up and is the same number I have been calling for days, maybe provide a number that will actually be helpful.

Before I faced this issue I was considering renewing my lease but now I will never rent any property managed by MEB again as they have shown how little my business and concerns mean to them!

Wow the power of the review! I received a call no less then 24 hours after posting this I m not sure if it s a coincidence or not, however Lisa addressed my concerns fully, offered a solution, and is showing MEB does care! Problems arise it s a fact of life, what sets a company above another is the willingness to fully listen then correct the problem, and of course take responsibility. Situation solved thank you Lisa!

I am only a prospective resident and haven't actually lived in a MEB community, but will definitely stay away from these properties. In my search I have talked with 2 separate properties managed by MEB and been treated like absolute garbage. Both were rude and were advertising for rates and availabilities they do not even have. If you treat me like that now, I can only imagine what it would be like after I signed a contract... No thanks!

Multiple Management and staff changes. Inconsistent policies. And to top it off, utilities that we're once included in the rent are now tacked on...without notice. A total of $100 additional per month.

Property definitely not luxury apartments. Other properties in have less rent and better amenities. Also if luxury apartments, they should included air conditioning in the units. Only fans in bedroom and living room. But there is air conditioning in the office. Closet and cabinet storage is minimal. For what I'm paying you would expect more. Oh, and there is the odor from the Purina plant. Must keep windows.open in Summer to cool down apartment.

There are multiple generations living in two bedroom apartments with up to 8 people living within them.

Not friendly with seniors on social security. In my situation I am paid on the second Wednesday of the month and I have fees added up until the paid date. Leaving less for me to spend on food and other bills.

I went in on 5/2/16 to cancel and have still not received my $100 deposit back as of today 5/23/16. The office manager never answers the phone no matter when I call. I dont understand how the last review was bad but listed as excellent. Let me tell you this place is not worth the hassle. Mr. MEB Management: what would you do if a whole complex didn't have A/C in the middle of summer (115 degrees). I will tell you. Your management skills which you lack tells your property managers to basically say too bad. If I had kids and my kids were in danger of heat exhaustion then I would sue this company for every penny its worth!!! And yes that did happen this summer. Also when I tell the front office I need a repair done in my apartment and dont allow anyone in until I am there since I have a big dog but yet they walked right in. If my dog would have attacked like she is trained to do for someone walking in my house would I be to blame? Looks like this BANK doesnt have the first clue of customer service and how to manage properties. I do believe this is the 3 manager in this complex and i have been here for 6 months. YOU KNOW HOW I KNOW THIS IS A HUGE RIP OFF SCAM!!!! WHEN I PAY A BILL THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU A RECEIPT FOR PROVE YOU HAVE TO REQUEST IT!! THEY WILL SAY YOU DIDNT PAY! WHAT A JOKE. Me and my wife had to relocate to Flagstaff last second for school, and were scrambling to find an apartment community with any availability. Luckily, we found Elevation apartments, where the management was very helpful in finding us a two bedroom unit and getting us moved in quickly. The management there was always quick to respond to maintenance requests or concerns we had about some noisy neighbors. Staff in the leasing office are always friendly and go above and beyond with great customer service.

I've been going round and round about an issue I have at Biltmore On The Lake apartments. In the hope to get some sort of resolution I sent an email to MEB. All they did was boomerang the email to the property I'm having issue with. That won't help at all and tells me that they really don't care about the people that rent properties or apartments the supposedly "manage".

Consistent turnover with managers. Had to sign the lease twice because the lost the first one only to notice changes to the contract. During move in the apartment was not cleaned and had exposed outlets. They told us that the community had a security service and remote access gates (which never worked). When we called the security company they said they no longer work with Elevation Apartments because they did not pay their bill. College kids hoping the fence having loud pool parties at 1am and management doing nothing about it. I will never rent from MEB again.

Terrible company and even worse management. Lived at Elevation Apt. for 6 months, went from bad to worse. Started out in January with no heat or hot water. Their response was to get space heaters. Heat was eventually fixed after two weeks. I guess a plus to living there is the police response time. Had to call multiple times (6 times in five months) for noise, fighting, and transients banging on doors. To make things even better is they take their sweet time cashing rent checks. I gave them a check three weeks ago and still has not been cashed. Stay away from this company unless you are a college student, if you are enjoy the ride.

I would like to update the public on this company I use to live at on of their property and my I say that I wasn't happy to know that I would be harressed an treated so bad. I live on this property for over a year and this problem of many was going on. They have a employees that walk around drunk and not doing their work they also have their employees in and out of your apartment looking around to steal things this is a current problem that is going on and beside this they have been known to have BEDBUGS I HAD A ROOM THAT WAS BADLY INFECTED WITH THIS I WENT TO THE PROPERTY MANAGER WITH MY CONCERNS AND SADLY TO SAY THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP ME OUT WITH THIS PROBLEM, IF YOU ASK FOR THINGS LIKE THIS OR OTHERS THEY WILL MAKE A THREAT TO EVICTED YOU OR FRIENDS THAT MY KNOW OF YOU. HOW I KNOW THIS IS DUE TO THE LETTERS THAT MY FRIENDS HAVE GOTTEN. NEIGHBORS ARE ALWAYS FIGHTING AND NOT GETTING ALONG ON THIS PROPERTY. He seams to be very professional and courteous. He has gotten back to me in a very timely manor each time I contact him. He has helped with with all my answers and then some.
I would honestly say that I was hesitant with working with any property management service but I am currently impressed with the service I have received from Kevin.
I feel that if you treat someone with respect they will do the same in return and I can see that here.

We have lived at acacia pointe apartments for about 7 months. It has been nothing but a pain to live here. Our AC, toilet, windows, and oven have been broken since we moved. We have put in plenty of work orders in and nothing has been done. We had a friends and my fiance collapse from heat exhaustion because they have failed to fix the AC. We talked to the property manager Susanne and she was clueless to what was going on. She is never there at the office and has horrible people skills. We always pay our rent early and get treated like dirt. We have to suffer while they get to enjoy their nice comfy cool office. I wouldn't recommend this apt complex to my worst enemy. We had such high hopes thinking it was a great place to live but it has turned out to be a nigtmare. I think we might be seeing them in court very soon.

Under MEB management, Clear Creek Village easily created a sense of professionalism and amicable environment as established by the office staff; Angie and Alicia. I was always amazed with Angie's ability to know every single resident that walked into the office as well as knowing their apartment numbers. Another thing, that impresses me with the office staff is the events they would put on for the residents especially during finals week. Finals week is a particularly stressful time for most students since Clear Creek has mostly student residents Angie and Alicia would provide us with food and a break away from studying. This showed me as well as my fellow residents that the office staff really cares about the well being of their residents during stressful times. The environment of the office itself was always clean and organized. Something I cannot say about the current office under Asset Campus Housing. Under MEB, every lease had a folder and every folder had a drawer therefore the mistakes were few. The current office is very disorganized leaving room for a lot of mix up and mistakes to be made. As a Clear Creek Village resident, it was always comforting to know that if I needed anything the office was a short walk away. It was a convenience to the residents to know that the office was never far away. However, with Asset Campus Housing this is no longer an option since they have combined the Ridge office with the Clear Creek office. Now, that convenience and feeling of comfort is gone. I believe that MEB management established a sense of professionalism that Asset Campus Housing is lacking.

I lived at Broadstone Twin Fields apartments for 3 years. The first unit I lived for 2 and the last I lived for 1. Upon moving out of my first unit I was charged for a deep cleaning of the carpet. Upon leaving the second unit (2015) I was charged for replacement of the carpet due to pet urine stains and smells. I've NEVER HAD A PET IN MY APARTMENT. I immediately contacted the apartments upon receiving the bill and tried to dispute. I was assured through several different phone calls that I would have my call returned. 2 months later I made my final call to them in 2015 in which they told me it was being investigated. I never received a call back (like they said) and thought it had been resolved, but to my surprise I received a collections letter 8 months later with a doubled amount due. Again I immediately contacted the apartments. I kept getting the call back runaround, attitude, and the final time I was actually lied to about a manager not being there. I happened to call right back to get a name and the manager Jessica answered. I was frustrated and her only focus was tone policing me and threatening not to help me if I didn't speak in the manner in which she approved. (I was respectful, yet had a raised voice. I was not yelling however). After getting a lawyer involved I was FINALLY sent the photos of the carpet; only pictures under the carpet showing water rings, but nothing showing "pet urine". I'm in the process of getting a house and it's stalled because I have a "new public record" which shouldn't have even gotten to that point if they had just called me back. By far the WORST management experience I have ever had. I was completely scammed.

I'm a current resident at one of the properties and I am giving only 4 stars because I had nothing but a good experience here. Office and maintenance are exceptional.
That was until I started having problems with my last place of employment regarding hours. I was told had to pay $400 by the 10th of the month with the balance due by the 23rd or eviction filed. I had to do that for several months. Then on Jan. 28th I was offered other employment with a fantastic facility with a much higher income. I start on 2/10. My last employer refused my notice and told me to leave. Now the issue.. I called Glendale Cap. No return call. I called Robert F Long, on hold for 20+ minutes then told all appointments filled. Called churches and agencies. I cannot locate anyone to help with assistance. I was now told by the office, I have to somehow come up with the $400 by the end of business on the 10th or Tuesday eviction will be filed and the judge basically says did you pay, yes or no. Will not care starting a new job, more money. If I want to pay the judgement before the court ordered eviction, I'm looking at rent, late fees and court costs needing to be paid in full. No promise to pays, no arrangement. I am out. So basically as long as you do not look to better yourself you will be fine. If you do, be prepared to sell your soul because MEB doesn't care about you. Regardless if money can be paid with first check or not. You will be in the same situation. Hustling to either come up with money to only struggle again if not paid by the 23rd to only have them file or trying to figure where to go within 2 weeks so you do not become homeless. Move here, make sure you are heart healthy for the stress being put onto me hopefully mine won't give out, again.

**UPDATE** Upon emailing with someone at this office, one again I'm going to say that it is really sad when a company cares more about the bottom line than they do about the people who CHOOSE to live there. I'm very willing to make it right. To pay Feb rent with my first and asking to allow me to pay March rent 2 weeks later with my next check. To please allow me to make payment arrangements on the fees AND court costs. I was refused. It's an all or nothing with them. So I am being forced to vacate an apartment and community I've grown to love along with being treated as if I'm intentionally refusing to pay with coldness. What happened was beyond my control. Having compassion, empathy goes very far and MEB management has none and I pray that someday they will stop looking to fill their pockets and realize there are circumstances that are sometimes beyond control of their tenants and have some basic Human Kindness.

I rarely give a top mark because I believe there should always be more to strive for in a business. Any business I've worked for liked the top marks, but we never took them seriously because we were always striving to be better than the day before. I'm enjoying my stay at Madera@Metro. People are kind. Maintenance and office are always willing to help. They so their best at keeping the grounds top notch. When a machine in the laundry room breaks, they're right on it. When the neighbors get a little loud in the wee hours of the morning, they make sure everyone is considerate of early risers. I feel much safer here than at my last residence. I hope the rent will stay reasonably in budget so that I can renew my lease next year.

This company is the worse when It comes to having anyone respond my messages or request for a call. I had an issue with a property of there's. Now they are facing a lawsuit for unlawful eviction that we paid rent and paid the fee that the judge ordered that we have the receipt and time stamped and dated. We had a water leak and no one attend to till the next day in the afternoon. Never replace the dry wall damage, didnt care the fact I missed work because of this and had to throw my property away that was damaged from the flood and that there was mold. Never received a call or anything from the property manager. They violated our fair housing rights and the maintenance crew told everyone around our area what was going on and that they were trying to get us evicted and sharing information that shouldn't of been shared to kinda like healthcare you have HIPAA. I felt so harrassed living there and at the sametime embarrassed. My neighbors told me this and will testify. I now notified fair housing and well as the attorney general. Be careful with the properties they have because as you can see they will try to screw you over even after the fact you already paid rent and had the proof. How can evict someone who already paid everything? Why dont you ask Monica lobato why she purposely held our payment and made this happen? You can thank her for putting a lawsuit against you and the property for all of our cost and damages and loss of work and invading my health issues that I am suffering currently because of this.

This will give you a really bad reputation. I will also contact 3 on your side to be sure everyone is aware of what has happened and putting me and family (my kids) out on the streets. Now I have to miss work and coordinate getting my stuff out of the apartment and make it convenient for Monica lobato and their staff. This should of never happened after the fact WE PAID OUR RENT!

I applied for an apartment at Avalon Hills Apartments in Phoenix (managed by MEB), and their website said the base monthly rent was $760, I paid the $100 application fee (for 2 occupants) plus the $100 holding deposit, but then four days later I check the status of the application online and it says "Rent price changed from $760 to $900 - 25 minutes ago". So I called them and they said I supposedly applied while the website was updating, and the rent price changed. With the price being much higher than advertised on their own website, and the fact that I applied under the impression the rent was $760 (and it said it was $760 for 4 whole days until literally an hour ago), I feel that I am entitled to a full refund of the application fees and holding deposit ($200 total), as I would not have even applied if their own website had the correct price in the first place. But Laura in the leasing office is refusing to refund the application fees, so now I'm out $100 because of their own mistake. Absolutely appalled at the lack of understanding and lack of customer service.

My experience with the MEB has been a great one. From their executive team to their on-site property managers everyone is aligned to one common goal; A first-class tenant experience. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I lived at Indigo Creek apartments on 51st Ave for a year. The people in the apartment below us were terrible. Long story short, they ended up getting evicted, after about 8 months. They should have been evicted in 8 days. I had to call the police a few times because they would follow me to my car, calling me inappropriate names, or come bang on our door and yell at my husband and I. Instead of just evicting them, management forced our next-door neighbors (who were similarly harassed) to break their lease early and move out. They were gracious enough to give my husband and I 48 hours to move to another apartment in the same complex. We were forced to spend $1500+ on a moving company and cleaners to clean the old apartment (the two of us couldn't pack, move, and clean on our own with just a 48 hr window). Oh, and they also raised our rent for the new apartment. We signed a 12-month lease at $825/month, and when we were forced to switch apartments (exact same floor plan, same complex, just a different building), they raised our rent to $925!

I asked for reimbursement for our $1500 moving and cleaning fees. Of course that didn't happen.

I was so happy when our lease ran out and we were able to move. I thought the whole nightmare would be behind me. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

I received a final utility bill in the mail, for around $87. I went to the office in person to pay-I was told they wouldn't accept cash or a personal check, but they would take a money order or cashier's check. About a week later, I was able to go back to the office, this time with a money order. Now they're telling me they don't accept money orders either, they only accept cashier's checks!

So now I'll have to make a trip to the bank, pay an additional fee for a cashier's check, then another trip out to their office.

My entire experience with this management company, and the apartment complex itself, has been a nightmare. I hope this company is shut down, and the people who run it have as difficult of a time in life as they have made mine this past year. The amount of stress and frustration they inflict on their residents is unacceptable, not to mention completely unnecessary.

I've lived at copper point in mesa for 3 years and love every moment. Vicki the lease manager and Craig the maintenance man are awesome. I'm very proud to call this place home. Just wish for one change and that's to have the pleasure of having upgraded appliances, I think mine are outdated from the 70's I was told it won't happen unless I move and then apt will be upgraded like the others. What if I decide to live here forever would that mean my apt would be a retro 70's style

They manage Acacia Pointe apartments. One of the managers tried sending a self typed letter out around Christmas saying the rent had to be paid in cash for the next month. Found out what I already knew. One of the managers trying to rip ppl off
