We had nothing but good experiences with Meers. They were less expensive then Uber and faster than the Minnie Vans. More import they are honest.

I left my backpack in the van and they dropped it off later in the day at my hotel.

Look for driver 480. If I can find him I want to give him a reward for the effort to get my back pack back.

3. When ever we gave directions he dismissed us even though he took long way and charged more.
4. Cost of the journey was horrific. My phone played up so I could not call Uber or Lyft. I checked price when i arrived and would gave saved money taking either one.

I have lived in Orlando for most of my life, and the quality that used to be associated with this company has definitely declined.
The cabs are always late- IF they come at all!
I ordered a taxi through the app, which gave me a 5min wait time, however after waiting over an hour, I called dispatch only to be told they couldn't find a driver to respond. The customer service reps were less than helpful or nice. I won't be giving my money to them any longer. If you need a good taxi, call Uxur Taxi! They're amazing!

We seriously do not have enough good things to say about this company and one of their drivers, Jimmy in Orlando. Prompt service, and when I forgot something in a cab, I called into customer service and they were able to get ahold of Jimmy who found my item. He brought it back to us where he dropped us off, and was incredibly awesome about the whole situation. Being out of town on a vacation can be stressful, but this time it wasn t. Thank you! Jimmy is the best taxi driver we ve ever had!

With every experience that we have had with Mears,...

With every experience that we have had with Mears, the drivers have been on time (most of the time they are early), polite, professional and friendly. They get us straight away to our destination. They load and unload our luggage. For our family of three, they were the same price as the shuttle with no extra, out-of-the-way stops. There is nothing more we could ask for.

This company SAVED me!!!! I was working in Orlando...

This company SAVED me!!!! I was working in Orlando and had to visit a client at 8:00 am in Daytona Beach. I was told to call Lyft, but fortunately checked with the bellman at the Disney resort where I was staying who told me that Lyft or Uber would not drive that far, especially in rush hour.

I was given the phone number for Mears by the front desk at Disney and easily made a reservation. Jean Claude arrived on 1/14/20 EARLY at 6:20 am and very kindly called to let me know I didn't need to rush. He was in a suit and the car was beautiful and clean.

I'm so grateful that he didn't talk on the phone or text and drive, which I've experienced with others (not at this company). And at 4:00 pm he once again arrived early and let me know and then drove me back to Orlando in rush hour. And what a very nice man and calm driver.

Thank you Mears!!!!

Am giving this company one star because zero stars...

Am giving this company one star because zero stars are not available. Came out of Hollywood Studios tonight, in the rain, with a daughter who has been in a wheelchair for this weekend visit to WDW. There were Mears cabs parked at the curb- all vans. Approached one, the driver got out and when he found out we were only 3 people - he basically said the vans were for bigger parties and wouldn t give us a ride. Have never heard of this and will never engage this company again. When I called to complain the woman on the phone reiterated that the vans were for larger parties. So we were discriminated against because we were a party of 3!!!!! Never again Mears! Never!!

At the Orlando Airport, from the official taxi stand, got into Mears Taxi Cab 82: He was a dangerous driver. On the highway, at 75 mph after swerving to avoid a car because he was driving too close and too fast, I told him to slow down and leave more room. He started to argue, then crossed a solid line, and I realized he was driving with one hand holding his phone. (see picture.) I told him to pull over and let me out at the next exit. I got out and requested his permit and ID which is required by Orlando VFH law to be on display. He refused and I called the police because he was not not displaying ID as required by law and refused to identify himself. In addition, the pictures below show that the city permit number for the cab itself was also illegible. Entire operation appears to be shady. Glad to be out of there. He identified himself as Lawrence to the police.

Horrendous! Pre-booked a taxi (return) from LBV to Kings Dinning on I-Drive, both cars thought we was going to Charlie s Steakhouse!?!? No taxi coming home, had to call 3 times and waited 2 hours to get the taxi. 3 taxis arrived neither one was the pre-paid one we requested and already paid for, all thought we was paying again. Had to Uber coming home! The worst service ever, such a shame. Never again.

Would leave 0 if I could, terrible service, left half our group for over hour was told another shuttle showed up and didn t see the rest of our group but we were standing in the same spot the first shuttle showed up at. Multiple calls placed vague answers given, ended up just getting a Lyft instead.

I have used them before but not again. After booking a round trip transfer to rosen centre hotel, the wit was over a 1/2 hour for the shuttle to get there. Ride was fine. Upon calling for a pick-up, i was told they only pick up on the 3/4 hr so either i had to go early 10:45 or Late 11:45 am. They said thats the way they do it. I had seminars to 11 so i want ed to leave at 11:15. I booked 10:45 but i stayed to end of seminar. not a phone call or anything as i didn't ride with them. We picked up UBER for $15 at 11:15. Again I asked why they didn't tell me only 3/4 hr picked and she said i didn't ask. WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN.

Loved using Mears to get to Universal from MCO until today. After two long flights we go to the counter and they just have it closed with a sign up. Saying to call for an appointment. I waited for the lady at the desk to help but all she did was sit their in front of me on her phone. I called the number to schedule a shuttle but was on hold for over 10 minutes before I just hung up to ask the check in lady outside who just redirected me to a taxi

Horrible experience with Mears! The pickup shuttle was late. Then when scheduling a return shuttle, the next time slot was in an hour and half, so okay that's fine. Then when the shuttle got here, they couldn't find our reservation and the driver just told us to call customer support and left. Then when talking to support, the next shuttle would be another hour! Ridiculous. Called @uber and they were here in 3 minutes.

The service of Mear's Transportation was worse than bad. Today my cousin (who is physically disabled) wanted to have a day out on the town. Mear's came and picked her up in a Handicap van, upon loading her he tried making her move her leg (keeping in mind she is paralyzed on one side) he was very rude and as we tried to make plans to get picked back up, he cut us off and interrupted us many times as we tried to speak to him. However the horror is far from over, my cousin is confined to a wheel chair due to her handicapped so is unable to access a restroom. We called Mear's to set plans for a pick up right before we sat down to begin our lunch at around 1:30, we scheduled pick up for 2:40, and they told us it would be no problem. We waited and waited until my mother decided to call and see what was going on, and they said that it wasn't a call and schedule type thing, that a cab would be dispatched whenever, so there we sat waiting as my cousin say in her wheel chair and had the embarrassment of wetting herself because she was unable to get to a restroom, we began waiting at 2:30 for a cab and are just now returning home at 5:05 and Mear's isn't even the cab service who brought us home.10/26/18

I've taken Mears shuttles before, and I've always been relatively pleased (they're efficient and not too overpriced for what I've used them for). However, my experience significantly increased this year when I had my first private car service experience with them. I was traveling with my husband and mother from the Orlando airport to our hotel. The cost for the three of us to take a shuttle was fairly steep, but then I noticed that it would actually be cheaper for us to get private car service. It was a wonderful experience. When our plane landed, I had received two texts, one letting me know that my driver had been dispatched (also providing his name) and another that he had arrived at the airport. He even called me when my flight landed to let me know that he was there and waiting for me. It was incredibly easy to find him, he assisted us with our luggage at baggage claim, and then escorted us to the waiting car (which was even closer than the rental cars or shuttle buses). He was very pleasant throughout the experience. It was a great way to start my vacation. If you're traveling alone, the cars can be expensive, but with three people, it was an amazing value!! I definitely see repeat business in my future.

Horrible service requested a cab for my sick toddler and myself gave dispatch my address half hour later dispatch called and asked me if there was more than one children s hospital in the area because the driver could not find us asked dispatch why would you ask me for a pick up location/ address if they were not going to use it waited over a hour and a half for driver to show up the urgent care ended up closing and was left waiting outside with my toddler ended up paying not even half the price they charged us to get there earlier that afternoon with Uber and they got to our location within minutes don t waist your time on Mears transportation

Awful and unsafe! I took a Mears Taxi (driver's name was Remy/Remi) from the Orlando airport to my hotel. The posted rate was between $50 and $60. The driver started the meter before we were in the taxi and before they could put the hotel's address in their GPS. The driver was not paying attention to driving and was constantly veering into other lanes and tailgating. Once, the driver had to slam on the brakes because they were following too close and the vehicle in front of us slowed without our driver noticing. The driver missed several turns, intentionally took a longer route, and literally stopped in the middle of an intersection because the GPS told them to go a different route. Then the driver completely missed the hotel and we had to turn around. The ride was over $70 and the driver was upset when we gave a smaller tip.

I did not feel safe in the taxi and will never take a Mears Taxi again.

I would leave zero stars if I could.

Excellent Service. Very customer focused and accommodating. I lost my return ticket and the customer service rep ensured I would not have any issues upon pick-up. I had also missed the 24 time window to call to confirm my pick-up time and not only were they on time for my pick-up, but upgraded me as well. I will definitely utilize Mears again.

Car was clean and on time, the driver was friendly. My only concern was the car seat we requested for our daughter, it was not in good condition or hooked up properly. I removed it and installed it again but was still concerned, they need greater safety training for their drivers concerning children.

Super unprofessional. Driver didn't enter our address into a gps when we told him and and only after repeating it several times and we specifically requested he started using a gps system. When the cab stopped he didn't stop the meter. And waited until I sorted out my money. Tried to push us into using cash. Would not accept credit upon first request. Kept on asking us for cash. Super unprofessional would not reccomend.

I called in the morning to get a ride from a hotel at Disney to the Hyatt at the airport. I was told the fare would be $22 & my pick up time was 5:10pm. The time came & went, no shuttle. I called & asked how late they would be, was put on hold & then was told they were sending a town car for the same price. I assured the person I was talking to I was in no hurry & had no problem waiting for a shuttle, but she insisted they were sending a town car. Within about 10 minutes a shuttle pulled up. The driver would not let me on because I didn't have a ticket. I had no idea what he was talking about, but without a ticket or cash I could not ride. Still no town car to pick me up. I called back, the next person had no idea what I was talking about & surprised that I was told a town car would cost the same as the shuttle. I asked if I needed to find other transportation but they assured me a town car would pick me up. I got a call & a town car did come and drive me to the airport but when I arrived the driver charged me $70, I told him what I had been told. He called & was told in fact, the fare would be $92 ($70 to the driver & $22 to Mears). Of course there was no manager available to talk with him. When he got off the phone & I called (mind you we have now been sitting outside the Hyatt at least 10 minutes) of course no manager was available to talk with me either. I was given a case # & the person I talked with relayed a message from the manager. What a mess! Thank goodness I was not trying to catch a flight. They certainly have communication issues & are not going to go out of their was to ensure customer satisfaction. I used them because of a friend's recommendation but will not in the future if I can help it.

I wish I could give this company negative Stars. Called for a shuttle from our motel to the cruise port. Was quoted a price and told that a shuttle would be at our resort at 10. At quarter after 10 still no shuttle so I called to verify and I was told by one of the rudest people I've ever talked to that nothing was booked under our name and that the rate I was quoted was not at all what they charged. Take any other transportation in this area than Mears!!!!

I was quoted the night prior for transportation from the Disney swan to MCO at a ball park rate of $51-55 depending on traffic. There was Zero traffic at 5:45am Monday morning. We pulled out at 5:45am per scheduled pick up. Rate upon airport arrival-$62 plus tolls. Driver, who was great, said this happens ALL THE TIME! I called and Mears had several excuses about the fair being an estimate/based on routes, traffic, blah blah. Being $8-11 dollars off or roughly 20% is a pretty big miss and as stated before, the driver said it happens daily so they know they are misquoting on a regular basis. I called back for a quote after the ride and the rep gave me the same $51-55 that I was quoted the night before. Mears LIES. PLAIN AND SIMPLE and there is a clear pattern based on driver feedback.

The first experience is pick up from Orlando airport to the Hotel. We arrived with a late flight , checkout was closed with no instruction on what to do . Had to walk around and ask stuff from other counters for some suggestions . After ringing them by using a telephone suggested by other counters our puck up car arrived pretty quickly .
On way back , rand 48 prior to reconfirm puck up . Was told pick up would be 5.45 am . Was outside hotel at 5.39 waiting till 5.55 no sign of transport. Got hotel reception to ring them . They said the pick up was at 5.35 and driver left . Really ? I asked twice to confirm time of pick up and it was 5.45 but the car wasn't there ! . They had to send another shuttle for us to be picked up . Apparently the driver waits for 5 min and then leaves without even entering hotel .

yes they have some minor problems but ok overall but my advise to any one going to Disney world and you are staying in side Disney is call them when you arrive from where ever you are like air port or Train station then on your last day call them 3 hours to let them know when to pick you back up to go back to where ever station you came from they seem to do better this way I would like to see them get paid better then what they get.

Have tried 4 different times over the last few weeks to take advantage of their 10% discount advertised online and even though the information I've entered "is correct", the site gives me an error note. When I called them (twice) they refuse to book ahead and told me that the 10% discount is not a guaranty and if the site isn't working "oh well, just check-in at the desk when you arrive". Some people want the convenience of "not" having to wait in lines to "check'in". Not very good customer service...people were snobby both times when I called.... and I think the 10% is just a bunch of nothing.... no wonder their rating is less then 3%...(and if I had my way I wouldn't have given them a star at all ---but have to to post)

This is our second trip to Orlando and second time...

This is our second trip to Orlando and second time using Mears. I made reservations a couple months prior for our family to be picked up from and to airport and multiple parks. We had excellent service both times. We always received a text notice when arrived, and they were always 15 minutes early even to the booked time. Very courteous opening doors, helping with bags, asking if air temp in car was ok, and very good drivers. Also very polite. Ray was our favorite! We did use Uber one day and that was an awful experience. I will gladly pay a little extra and pre-book again with Mears.

Total rip off...... we used them to go a couple of miles down the road from our hotel in Orlando to go to shops and got charged $15 each way. Used an Uber cab for the same journey next day got charged $6.26 each way need I say anymore!!!

We were in a bind trying to get to the airport from our resort, having no luck with other transportation services. Called Mears and they had a taxi out to us in no time and taxi #704 was able to get us to the airport on time. Would definitely recommend using this taxi service!

We have been on a Disney shuttle run by Mears for 45 min from Disney springs to the Magic Kingdom. Should have taken 15 min. Missed a fast pass already and might miss another. The driver got lost. Totally unacceptable....

Just spend the money on a cab or uber.

I signed up for the round trip pass and was shuttled around dropping a few people off. Not a problem.

Called a day ahead to book a shuttle back to the airport.

My reservation was at 3:20 Pm and I began waiting outside at 2:50 (to be early). Waited until 3:35 until I called to check the status. They said the driver said I was a "no show". Complete garbage - he never showed up.

So she told me to wait for the next one. Which means I would have been waiting an hour to be picked up. I opted for a cab - I wasn't going to miss my flight because they weren't competent.

The cabby let me know this happens with that company all the time. He tried to get a voucher from them to waive my cab fee and they said "if she doesn't wait for the next shuttle we'll charge her."

So guess what?! They charged my card twice for a service I never received! And then I ended up paying for cab ride anyway.

Rude. Incompetent. Unreliable. Give another company your money.

Called ahead to book my shuttle back to the airport. Day of return to airport, waited 15 minutes and called MEARS, they could not find my booking even with my confirmation number. Customer service did not apologize until I told her another shuttle service picked up their customer 5 minutes early and we had the same shuttle arrival time. I have now been waiting for 50 minutes and still no shuttle. I skipped breakfast and coffee to assure I would be outside early as to not miss my ride. I have been waiting for over an hour total.

The taxi was waiting at the airport, the driver was friendly, the rate to universal was given to me at the airport, along with the given rate. After 4 mins of driving the driver up's the rate by 50%. I saw his hand adjust the rate on the meter, he looked around to see if we noticed and only made the adjustment after we indicated we were from out of town, and he informed us he's only had 3 fares that day. It was cab #165.

This is why cabs suck. The driver also expected a tip at the end. This whole thing added about $25 to the cost of the trip.

Grabbed one of these wonders out of orlando airport. Out of 20, no one wanted to take us, all asking us to find another driver. Finally land a driver who was upset to be woken from a nap he was taking, and off we go. Half way there he hits the brake in the middle of the highway, pulls over, changes his GPS and takes us through 3 tolls. Final price:$89. To top it, he was upset about not getting tipped. Compared with Uber and Lyft, their price range is 33-48$. This company is a JOKE. Avoid at all cost.

I needed a ride to the airport early one morning to catch a flight, and didn't want to worry about calling a taxi and waiting. I scheduled to be picked up by a town car from Mears instead. I am very glad I did this, they showed up early, the driver was courteous and professionally dressed, and they got us to the airport quickly and safely. I'm pretty sure it was about the same amount as taking a cab, but without the hassle. I will definitely use this service again. Thanks Mears!

The experience of which I will comment at this time, is about a taxi driver from Mears, who was harassing me and profaning threats and insults, for which I am going to file a civil lawsuit since said taxi driver dared to take photos of my enrollment claiming that I am a driver of UBER and that I was occupying an indeterminate position in the international outlet outlet in Orlando florida. This happened at 11:45 a.m. on July 8, 2018. It turns out that I was parked waiting for my wife to leave the outlet and for now I hear some loud blows coming from the back of my car, I immediately give myself of account that is this man who addresses me as if I were a driver of UBER insulting me, threatening me and taking pictures of the registration of my car, according to him to report me to the security agency that custody that site. Before my wife arrived at the place where I was, I got out of my car and took pictures of the taxi number and the registration to start a civil suit for damages and prejudice that may suffer in the future because of the negligence of one of its taxi drivers, when taking attributions that are not conferred to him. The characteristics of the car is a Toyota Sienna, with number 827 and the registration is Z87-BVP. I hope you take the necessary disciplinary measures with your taxi drivers so that these events do not tarnish the good work done by the other Mears Transportation members

I have never had a problem with Mears when visiting Orlando. They are who I plan to continue using when I am in the area. I made the mistake of calling Taxi in Orlando before Mears for my last trip and they never even showed up. Mears saved the day again, thanks guys!

Had to wait 2 hours cause they didnt tell us where to meet them. A 15 min ride (to hotel) jumped to 2 hour ride back to airport( this was part of our package at a resort & spa) amd they where late pickimg is up both times. Definally uber it!

Cab driver of 945 on July 1st at 5:45pm almost ran me and my family off the road after leaving Disney on Buena Vista Drive . I had to merge and put my blinker on and check my blind spots before beginning to merge and the driver sped up and almost push us off into construction closed road I had to move back over before getting hit with my kids in the car. He looked at us and kept speeding off.

Drivers were extremely friendly and very helpful. Cars were cleaned and well maintained. Enjoyed not having to deal with the Florida traffic and just be able to enjoy vacation. Grandkids were excited to see carseats ready and waiting for them plus a movie playing on the DVD player. Can't say enough good things about our experience with Mears Transportation, loved every aspect of it.

The drivers were on time and very polite. The doors were opened for us. We were offered chilled bottled water. The drivers asked us if the interior temperature was comfortable for us. They also were more than willing to talk with us and answer any questions we had about the area. This is not the first time we ve used Mears Global and certainly will not be the last time.

Worst customer service response ever!!! I arrived at Las Vegas airport yesterday Dec 26th/15 with a confirmation for a limo from Mears. No one was there and when I called they told me that they had been calling me and that I didn't answer, OFCOARSE I was flying. They has me on wait for 15 minutes with excuses and trying to get me an alternative service. At the end all they gave me was an "I'm sorry" and was told that they would re-emburse the US$104.50 that they did avidly charge!!!

I wish I could go 0 star instead of even one star, very unprofessional and unethical transportation company, Customer service promised us a one sided fare refund on our inquiry on the basis of not liking their shuttle service ( don't get me going in details about how horrendous that experience was ) but refused subsequently even though it is mentioned on the ticket fully refundable. I wouldn't suggest this service to any of my friends due to the fact of horrible bus and customer service as well as unethical management.

We used Mears Transportation for our ground transfers to and from Port Canaveral. Our driver Angel was professional, and kept myself and two little girls entertained with stories and guide information about Orlando.

The SUV we were in was very clean and looked as if he just brought it back from the detail shop. I would highly recommend Mears transportation for vacationing families. The fact that I still remember the driver's name after 7 months should say something about the company.

PS..... I just booked them again for next year's transfers.

Their airport staff are robotic and do not care about their customers

The shuttle to take you back to the airport will not arrive at all

When you call the call center, they will not help you with a no-show shuttle and will be apathetic bordering on abusive when talking to you

Horrible customer experience! Essentially any other transport service is better

My Mears experience was awesome. I have personally experienced the Yellow Cab company turn off their meter and charge me more. But not with Mears. I reserved a Lincoln Town Car (Leon Eason) and was blown away by the cleanliness, cost and overall professional service. I will be reserving Leon and Mears this June when I come back down to Orlando. Keep up the good work. BTW... I especially like the name boards the driver displays so we can easily find them in baggage claim.

Attempted to book a shuttle this evening and website was down. It would not allow me to select a city or airport. I called your reservation number and, after a lengthy wait, it was answered. I politely tried to let "Valerie" know of the computer issue so she could report it and she slammed the phone on me! Obviously, customer service is not her strong suit!! Thank God there's Super Shuttle in Orlando and I don't HAVE to use Mears!

I had the best ride this morning from Rosen Shingle Creek to MCO airport. The driver (whose name I cannot recall) really worked hard to give us actionable information at the airport. In particular, he advised us to see if we could get an earlier flight which worked out well for me. I would not have known this tip without his advice. Other good advice;
1. Come to MCO in May, best prices and shortest lines
2. Come and go to MCO before 2 pm because of traffic and frequent last afternoon weather.
3. If you have to wait at MCO, do it before you get on the people mover. More shopping, restaurants and wifi.

I will be taking Mears in the future!

When you call the operator can not give time frame for pick up. I waited 30 minutes and called back "no cab available for dispatch and cannot say how long". Uber for this guy from now on.. Still waiting meanwhile!

Simply terrible service! We took a taxi from Disney Springs to the Orlando Outlets on Vineland. The driver decided not to activate the taxi meter and charged us $15. When it was time to pay, he said no credit cards, but the car clearly advertises credit cards. On the way back, we used the app to call a cab and the app stated a price for $9, for the same fare we had just been charged $15. However, the app was unable to locate a cab. I ended up calling their customer service number and had them send me a driver, which ended up taking 25 minutes to arrive. Simply terrible!

It is always about timing. Travel always has many glitches, and this service and attentiveness was outstanding!!!!! Super clean van, timely, on time, and very courteous and attentive DRIVER!!!! He helped out and literally picked up a motorized wheel chair that was not functioning properly off the van. This driver was amazingly kind, professional and attentive to everyone on this van!!! Nice way to return to Orlando!! THanks

My family and I flew into Orlando International Airport from Chicago. We were picked up at the airport on time, as the driver was already waiting for us at the baggage claim area. After we were dropped off at our hotel, we realized that our son left his jacket in the private car. I called Mears and they said that they would contact our driver. (I had forgotten the driver's name.) Twenty minutes after the phone call, the driver called me back on my cell phone and told me that he had the jacket. Within minutes, he dropped it off to me.
Our ride after our trip was over was also pleasant and efficient. The driver, originally from Mississippi, struck up a conversation with us. I highly recommend Mears Transportation.
