I was visiting Cleveland from Michigan and took my car here after I noticed a strange sound coming from under my hood. I researched all the auto shops in Cleveland since obviously it's a little uncomfortable to take your car to a mechanic you don't know. This was one of the highest rated, and I can say now I completely agree with those ratings.

Finding a mechanic you can trust is always hard, but I believe I found this in Masterworks. My car needed a new clutch and I had a work trip coming up. I called and scheduled the work to be done to coincide with the trip. Boruch did a great job on the car, was very fairly priced and got the job done in time so that I could pick the car up on the day I returned home. I also asked him to assess my struts as my car is a bit older. He gave an honest assessment and let me know that my struts were fine. I appreciate that kind of honesty. I'll be making Masterworks my go to shop as I appreciate a shop that values long term clients instead of a trying to make a quick buck.

I just drove my car in this snow tonight since Getting my snow tires on last week, and it was the first time my car Felt sturdy and safe to drive in many years! They did an incredible job. And the customer service on the phone, and in person, was incredibly friendly and patient and welcoming. They did a wheel alignment and found some other things that needed to be fixed, and my car feels so much different to drive in the best way. From start to finish the experience was incredibly positive. I will be going back again.

BEST mechanics in Cleveland. I have a car that has something wrong with it every few months and these guys make it so much less stressful. I've brought my car to them several times and each time they waved diagnoses fees since the jobs were pretty expensive. These guys love to go the extra mile for their customer they do not half ass anything! I'm so sad I moved to Chicago. You will not find anyone like this anywhere else! They are very woman friendly as well!
I went mainly because of the wonderful reviews and now I see why. My car was fixed in a very timely manner (less than 24 hours) which was unexpected, given how many problems it had. Every service that my car needed I was offered the cheapest AND the safest option. It didn't seem like they were after a quick buck. None of the loaner cars were available, but the owner did share with me how some customers take an Uber to the shop (which is exactly what I did and it only cost me $5!). I would recommend to anyone, no complaints.

I found Masterworks Automotive a few years ago. When my usual garage tried to take advantage of me with a crazy quote, I started calling other garages around Cleveland looking for opinions/quotes to know I wasn't crazy. Boruch picked up the call and in a manner of minutes totally eased my nerves. He shared that his garage would do the same repair for a 1/3 of the price normally, and that he was honestly kind of shocked I was put into that position. I brought my Honda in that month and never turned back.
As a young woman, paying professionals for car repair doesn't come without assumptions and cheesy deliveries by sly mechanics. But MW's kindness and eagerness to actually educate me about my vehicle for my own benefit leaves me feeling like my car is with my own uncles. When something is wrong, they tell me it's wrong and how long they'd recommend waiting before taking action. When I ask what the action is, they give me options on parts + prices when it's possible. When a fix is so quick that it doesn't warrant payment, they don't ask for payment.
I am SO PROUD to see their space grow and expand. I'm so thrilled for their new online features and vehicle history/inspection features that make me feel confident as a car owner. Their prices are fair and their work is beautiful.

Went to MasterWorks Automotive for my e-check. I waited briefly in the pleasant waiting room as my car was driven from the parking space to be checked. The owner noticed that my tire pressure was low and explained how cold weather affects the pressure and the tires. He answered all my questions, demonstrated how to use the shop s state of the art air machine (digital read out lets you set PSI for automatic shut off), and encouraged me to come back anytime 24/7 to keep my tires in good shape. He went above and beyond in a respectful, professional, and friendly way.

Boruch and his team were very polite, honest, and timely with their work! I came in with a 2006 Camry most likely in need of a new alternator, and he did the work the same day! His price was the best in the area, beating out the Lusty Wrench, Alternative Solutions, and the dealerships in town as well. They were even kind enough to provide me with a loaner vehicle while my car was being fixed, so I could go about my day. The repair was completed last week, and I have had 0 concerns about the repair. I can drive with confidence again!
I was very nervous about finding a mechanic to fix my brakes. Being a woman, I often feel that I am duped and overcharged when it comes to car repairs. However, Masterwork was great. They took care of my repairs, and me, with promptness and professionalism. I felt that I could trust them and not have to worry. I will definitely go back.
I've been here twice & had a good experience both times. Boruch clearly explained what was wrong with the car, what needed to be done, the cost of the repairs, and whether they could be safely postponed or not. Boruch and his staff treat the customer like family. They will do everything honestly, ethically and mechanically top notch. One time in particular my car was having some pretty serious issues. MasterWorks put me in a rental while Boruch poured over the problem with the intensity of a Talmudic scholar, devouting his time and energy to my problem until he was able to resolve the very complicated issue. No other garage would take the time to get the diagnostics right like this... moreover, no garage owner would ever be as warm and personable as Boruch!!! Why go anywhere else when you can go to MasterWorks???

I recently moved to Cleveland and was so lucky to find Masterworks Automotive the other month when my car broke down. I have been so pleased with the service there. Usually when I go to a car repair place, I feel like I am "talked down to" because I'm a 20-something-year-old woman who doesn't know much about cars. However, at Masterworks Automotive, Boruch explains everything so clearly and thoroughly, he shows me step-by-step what was done, explains repairs that are needed and why, gives me the pricing up front, and in the end, I leave feeling like my car has been well taken care of and that I know more about my vehicle than I did before. I've been very impressed with all my experiences there so far and will continue to take my car there for repair.
I can't picture going anywhere else for service going forward. I'd been advised by my dealership that I needed work on my brakes, as well as my exhaust (converter bolts). I was going to look elsewhere, and started my research. I landed on Masterworks as the best option. On my way home that very day, before even calling, I hit one of Cleveland's legendary pop-up potholes. I called when I got home, as there was a definite bubble on the tire. Baruch had me drop the car off that night. I mentioned that there may be other work (brakes and bolts). He called the next afternoon and told me that the only thing that actually needed attention was the bubbled tire and the alignment. I've always stressed about going to a mechanic, as it always seems like its the worst case scenario. Not so here. Baruch and his team only do what you actually need done instead of trying to upsell. I've found a fantastic mechanic! If I could give more stars, I absolutely would. 10 out of 10, would definitely go back!
Edit: It's been three years since I first visited Masterworks. Dropped my car off for routine service today. I'm still as happy with them as I was three years ago. Baruch, Ken, and the entire team are the best. Their honesty and good work are what's going to keep me coming back!
Baruch was very helpful and answered all of the questions I had regarding the cost/benefit comparison of repairs on my vehicle and was sincere in his advice. I was also impressed with the inspection done on the vehicle which identified some issues aside from the those brought to him. Make an appointment ahead of time and you know your vehicle will be seen in a timely manner. I will return here for maintenance and repairs and would recommend his business to family and friends alike.
I needed a starter right away and needed a car to use in the meantime. Not only was masterworks able to give me the starter and put it in within a few hours, i was able to get a car in the mean time to do my delieveries. He makes you feel like they really are looking out for you!

They have never tried to up-sell me on unnecessary repairs or tried to pad the invoice. I trust Boruch Taub, the owner, and all the technicians in his shop. I guess others do to, which is why he is so busy!
My ONLY DISLIKE would be when I retrieved my vehicle their were many dark dirt & oil marks on the inside of my vehicle. As I was picking up my vehicle the owner had a worker retrieve my vehicle and his hands were full of oil and grime. The owner told him to wash his hands. The worker washed them barely and seemed irritated about having to do so. When you are dealing with light colored vehicle interior you have to be mindful of touching the inside of the cars with dirty hands or sitting on light colored seats with dirty oily work suites. I paid and had my cream leather cleaned and it all came out. Even with dark interior shops should be mindful because you don t want customers to ruin their clothes when they retrieve their vehicle. BESIDES the interior mishap, the owner is GREAT and the WORK is GREAT! The owner really helped me out when I could not get a same day appointment at my dealership!

Boruch Taub and his staff at Masterworks Automtoive are some of the most honest and helpful auto mechanics in town. I have done plenty of auto repairs at his shop and not only is he honest but he does not do more than what is requested. His prices were fair and extremely competitive. Any auto needs, Boruch is your man.
All the Google reviews about this place weren't wrong. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Even when I showed up on "Black Friday". He was honest about other details that may be wrong with me car but wasn't pushy or trying to up-sale. And when I had to return a couple days later with a question they fit me right in, checked it out, made the adjustment and I was on my way in no time. I'll definitely be back and have already recommended it to a few of my neighbors/friends.
Mr. Taub and MasterWorks Automotive has serviced my car with expertise, great customer service, and in a very timely manner. Had a major issue with my car so went to a few places to figure out the problem. I wasted a ton of time and no one was able to tell me what was wrong with it and the quotes were ridiculous. Masterworks Automotive took the time to walk me through my car issues, even taking me back to show them to me. They also gave me amazing documentation about the issue. Their quote was almost half of what I got previously and they fixed the car quickly. I had a great experience and the customer service was amazing!

I love this place. First time going they told me I needed a new control module which would have cost me $640 to fix also they fixed my right headlight because it was missing a sucker for the blinker. Took my car back to them to repair the problem come to find out my brake control module was working again and they didn't continue to fix something that didn't need to be repaired just to get a quick buck. Ill recommend people to this shop.
Best experience ever - Friendly - Professional and experienced mechanics
Seems to be an honest and trustworthy place. They tell you their honest recommendations and don't try to convince you to pay more for things you don't need. Only problem was that I had to schedule the appointment a week ahead of time, but they're probably busy for a reason, and they made the repair within the time frame they promised.

I had a great experience here! I called in and got an appointment set up a couple days before, got my car taken back right away for a brake check, and then when they told me the condition of my brakes they gave me all the options up front and their advice. I didn't feel any pressure at all to get more done than was needed, and they answered all the questions I had. Once I scheduled to have my car checked (done without charge), the diagnosis was exactly what the problem was (had consulted a friend that was an automotive engineer before arranging with Masterworks). The job itself was very well done and as has been mentioned in previous reviews, the warranty is well worth the price (well below the dealerships). On another occasion, I had my cooling pump replaced and when the coolant level kept on dropping during my drive in the winter months, they gladly filled me up for free (BMW coolants are not so cheap) before diagnosing that it was a leaky tubing. This was replaced and I have not had any issues 8 months down the line. Prompt, reliable and value is what Masterworks is.
