Honest and fair. I was estimated 2 hours to install a part and i was quoted accordingly. when it only took a half hour of labor i was only charged for the half hour of labor. so i paid less than what i was quoted.

This place is great. I called the evening prior to when I wanted to bring my car in, and they were able to accomodate me. Strange sounds had been emanating from my car for about a year prior and other mechanics never figured out what it was. This place took care of the basics for me (oil change, evening out tire pressure etc) and also were able to fix a major issue with my wheel and make the noises go away. I felt like they did a great job for a reasonable price and explained everything well. Highly recommend.

Recently moved to Cleveland and came here on the advice of some friends when I had some car trouble. Boruch was very friendly and made sure to address my concerns. After completing the repair, he went for a short drive with me to see if the problem had been adequately resolved. Great service, will be coming back for any future issues!

He was happy to offer a refund since the alignment process at their shop and tire advice had not fixed the issue with my car. I am honestly surprised that I was contacted, and says a great deal about Boruch s character and his expectations for his business. Those odds are one in a million that a company would want to right a wrong, even months after the matter. I have increased the rating to 4 stars for Boruch s honesty and willingness to fix the problem. I can now say, if MasterWorks is unable to fix an issue with your car, they are happy to help or issue a refund.

Original Review:
Earlier this year, I took my car to MasterWorks for an alignment. The owner and mechanics I spoke to were incredibly friendly and polite, and got me in for an appointment quickly. Although I had a good experience working with them, my car still pulled to the right when I drove home. I waited a few days and called back, they promptly got me back in to take a second look. that time, they said they ran the program for alignment and everything was within range, so they weren't sure what the issue was. They suggested maybe a bent rim or tire issue. I then wasted my time and money getting a replacement tire from the company I bought my tires from, and they noted no damage to the tire or rim in the process. I finally went to my Toyota specialist when the pulling got severe, to find that it was simply an alignment issue that MasterWorks couldn't fix for some reason. My car now drives perfectly straight and smooth, thanks to my Toyota dealer.

I contacted this garage because I heard they are honest and that s the type of service I got. I requested (and sent) a second hand car to be inspected before I purchased it. I don t live in Cleveland, so I arranged that the seller would drop it off. The garage told me the price for an inspection, and I wanted to leave my credit card number since there was a set appointment, but they wouldn t take it unless the car was already in the shop. On the day of the appointment, they did a thorough inspection, and called me when it was done. I paid over the phone (same price) and they texted me a link to a thorough digital review of the inspection, including pictures of all of the parts that were good, what could use work, and was was more urgent/red flag. There was no pressure to have these things corrected at their facility.

I haven t been there in person, but it s clear to me that this place is honest, and has hard workers. And it s certainly a nice touch that they ve invested in some technology to help make the inspection accessible digitally. I bless them with much much success in their business and hope that they continue to serve the community in the way that they do.

I had a great experience here! I called in and got an appointment set up a couple days before, got my car taken back right away for a brake check, and then when they told me the condition of my brakes they gave me all the options up front and their advice. I didn't feel any pressure at all to get more done than was needed, and they answered all the questions I had. Their building is very clean and professional and it was a pleasant place to wait with free wi-fi and snacks. I'll definitely keep coming here!

Anytime you find an honest mechanic you stick with them. For me, my trusted mechanic is located back home and when my car started to have some problems, I searched all over the place for a mechanic just as good. Many of my friends recommended MasterWorks due to their outstanding customer service and phenomenal work all while maintaining the coveted trust we all seek when choosing a mechanic. Borah and his team quickly identified to the problems and updated me every time there was a decision to be made. The prices for labor and parts are extremely reasonable. This is the place to go if you need your car fix and want to trust that the mechanic will only fix real problems instead of trying to simply turn a profit. I will be coming back with my car for tuneups and service for as long as I am in Ohio. MasterWorks is a honest, family-oriented, and hard working company. My car needed a new engine. They were extremely informative and went over the top to make sure the new engine I received was worth the money I was spending. They actually returned an engine they ordered and sought out a better one after seeing it in person. They are very knowledgeable and knew right away what needed to be replaced. I felt good and was relieved knowing my car was in good hands especially for a major fix like this one.

Took my car in and got quick service - something rare for automotive shops. Additionally, they were very customer service oriented which was very much appreciated since most shops make you feel like they just want to charge you and get you out.

We brought our car in to Masterworks for the first time and were very impressed with the service we received! They were extremely thorough and clear as they explained the problems to us. The repairs were quick, and we're glad to have our car back up and running!

When i first saw all the positive reviews about Masterworks i thought it might somehow be rigged. But having been there and worked with them i can vouch that all this are legit! If I lived in the Cleveland area I would take my vehicles to this shop. We were traveling from Washington State and blew our transmission. They went out of their way to help us. Did a fantastic job. The quality of work is very good. Their quoted price was very reasonable and they did the job for the lower in of the quote. They also came on Sunday and finished repairing our vehicle. Unbelievable customer service. People of Clevland you have an awesome resource available to you.

Car had an intermittent a/c problem. They talked to me about options, and didn't just recommend the most expensive solution. They identified and fixed the problem, and I have not had any issues with the car since. I highly recommend this shop.

Not only did they give me polite and attentive service, they made me feel valued as a customer. That's very rare for auto repair shops, who all too often confuse customers with jargon in order to find a way to charge them more money.
Masterworks Automotive fixed my car in as timely a manner as could have been expected, given the nature of my car's malfunctions (yes, there was more than one problem).
They also trusted me with a loaner instead of steering me to a car rental place.
In conclusion, I am delighted with their work, service, and their efforts to be helpful to me from beginning to end. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who needed work done on their car.
Addendum:
One year later, I have a newer car that needed new front brakes. Even though they had initially told me that they were booked solid, when I described my problem, they fitted me in to their schedule in days instead of weeks. I had requested other work, but they advised me that it could wait a little while longer.
I would happily recommend them to anyone who asks.
Addendum part two:
I needed some work done, and I also had an oil change due. I was slotted in their schedule in 2 days, and had my car back 2 more days later. Luckily, I had those days off!
They got the work done without overcharging or adding on extra "needed repairs", and the way they set up remote payment was painless!
I remain a loyal customer and would recommend them to anyone.
Another addendum:
I needed some work done urgently on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, and when I called them they just said to bring it on in. They found a bunch of problems, but they got them all taken care of the same day, for a fair price. According to the mechanic, my car is as close to being brand new without it actually being new. I believe it. The car is driving like a dream. Thanks, guys!

Honest - fair price and good service. He is just finishing a major renovation which is just stunning. He cares about the neighborhood and it shows by the way he chose to design the new shop.

Have taken my vehicle her several times from oil change to some major repairs always satisfied with the information given and services provided never had to worry about whether my repairs are done right. I thank the staff at Masterworks for the prompt and courteous manner in which they address all concerns.

I was very pleased with the work and the integrity of MasterWorks. I thought that I needed a new muffler. It turned out that a pipe was bad. Instead of replacing the whole pipe for a cost of about $500, they gave me the option of just replacing the damaged part for a cost of $170. The car is a 2002 Toyota so I went with the more economical solution and I am very pleased with the results. Even my wife likes driving in the car since it is nice and quite.

They were quick and Would not overcharge you for the services.

Other than paying for the same diagnostic, the atmosphere was cozy and people were polite. Told me they gladly inspect new vehicle if I decide to get another and what types are recommended.

MasterWorks overall did a good job. If it weren't for the lack of time management I would have given them five stars for service. The actual location isn't the best and the whole area looks kind of sketchy but the two were very nice. I couldn't stand the smell of dog and smoke in the shop but they got the job done. I was starting to think that maybe things would not work out. We were told that the job would only take 1 hr and I gave details as to what type of vehicle I had and ended up paying more because they "thought" that the part that I would be bringing in would be something different. I'm not sure how that is since I told them what kind of car I had. So they made me pay more because they somehow weren't expecting what part I had and also it took longer. I was told that they could pick me up a new part with a lifetime warranty and they had just talked to the warehouse that they worked with. They went to get the part and they said it was closed by the time they got there...not sure how they closed when they were just talking to them and told them that they'd be down. So I'm just glad that in the end they were still able to repair my part and that my car is running again. If I weren't so desperate, I might have been harder on them because they had me waiting 3 hours when I had to be to work at 7am but the part is working and I am mobile. I definitely could have still given them a 3 star at most but whatever....You be the judge.

Up front and honest people. They stayed after hours to try to have my vehicle ready before the holiday weekend. Even though they were unable to complete it, they provide a free loaner car for the time they're working. I will recommend them to family and friends!

Took my car in and specifically told them the heat wasnt working and that I needed it fixed. 1300 bucks later still no heat! More money to fix a thermometer and in the meantime me and my toddler are freezing on car rides when almost everyday the temp is in the teens. Idk what the problem is but I just do NOT understand how a thermometer is not factored into the equation when dealing with heat and repairinh an older car. Everything I look up on line gives me the impression that any mechanic who knew what they were doing would know better. Maybe I will try simons next time

We've had our car serviced twice now from MasterWorks Automotive with the most recent being a timing belt replacement. Both experiences were EXCELLENT and I would highly recommend their shop to anyone! Other than them being very knowledgeable and perform great work (which I would expect) they are HONEST as well as fair. They take the time to walk you though the true issue and fix the problem at hand rather than where they could charge the highest premium. If you want mechanics you can TRUST, give MasterWorks a call.

I've just moved to US and MasterWorks Automotive is very close to my apartment. I saw the review and decided to go there for my car. He did very good job with my car, battery and brake. The price was reasonable and he can finish it within one day. I feel safe and recommend MasterWorks for my friends.

Its ok..I understand and appreciate the safety precautions installed here due to Covid, but it would be nice to be able to talk to a person face to face regarding the issues/possible work to be done on my car. Dropped my car off today and dropped my key in a slot and basically left my car with no communication with the mechanic. We'll see how this goes and I will give an update and hopefully an upgrade to the stars!

Update - if there were a way to give them 4.5 stars I would. The gentleman Ken, who I dealt with was a very kind man and kept me in tune what was going on with my car. The pros of this business are that they will get your work done fast. They do a very in depth analysis of your vehicles overall health and they have a very high-tech overview system to show you what is going on with your car, including pictures and an explanation of problems and what the solutions are. My only con, and the reason that I can't give them a 5 is that they are very expensive. I had several things wrong with my car, some major, some minor. Some of the items that they suggested be taken care of and the cost to do them were a bit outrageous to me. An in engine air filter and in cabin air filter costs about 25.00 combined, they wanted 30 bucks apiece! With fees, labor and tax, it would have been over 100 bucks for a job that takes 10 minutes. They also wanted over 400 to change my spark plugs, I got that done for 289, plus tax at another mechanic. This mechanic seems to severely upcharge on parts. Just my opinion. Overall, if money was no object, I'd feel very comfortable with using these guys for my auto repair needs, they are knowledgeable and have a nice clean business.

The staff was friendly and the service was fast, however, prices are a bit high for less labor intensive projects. As a college student, if I had known I was going to be charged $50 to have the front end of my splash guard screwed back in I would have made the trip back home where my mechanic would have completed the job at no cost.

Great guys and excellent service! I drove into Cleveland from Chicago and my car was making an awful noise. I asked Reilly Properties (my landlord) for an auto shop recommendation and they recommended MasterWorks Automative. Baruch and his team were able to quickly identify and fix the problem for a reasonable price. I took it back 2 days later with another funny sound, and they quickly found the source - a plugged drain - and fixed that for free. I asked their opinion about another subject and they took the time to review my extended service contract and recommended that I go to a dealer, as it should be covered. Thanks guys!

When it comes to mechanics, cheapest is never the best. I'll be honest, I've gone to some bargain basement mechanics, and while they saved me a few bucks, I feel like I came out with new problems that needed to be fixed. My car is still rattling in some mysterious place after going to some cheapo guy for a brake job.

Baruch is an honest mechanic and business man and I don't feel the need to second guess any of the work he tells me that needs to be done. There's no need to send in the Fox News I-Team with undercover cameras to find out what's going on in there. If he tells me there's an issue with some doodad on my car, then there's a problem with that doodad.

Fixing a car is much like fixing a computer, there's so many things going on under the hood and in the background, that there's never just one easy solution. If you're looking for an honest mechanic that will do his best to find the problem and take care of it for a fair price, then you should definitely come to MasterWorks Automotive.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with MasterWorks Automotive. I needed a part replaced in my car on very short notice and they were able to get the part and do the replacement quickly. I called multiple other auto shops in the area and no other places were able to help me. The guys at Masterworks Automotive were also incredibly nice and professional; I felt like I was in good hands and that I could trust them. I needed an Echeck and my brakes were squealing, Masterworks completed my required Echeck and checked my brakes while I waited. In less than 30 minutes my car was given a clean bill of health, and I was back on the road. Friendly, clean and professional service. Masterworks has become my new service facility. Thank you!

MasterWorks Automotive was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating. I have a very rigid work schedule and MWA was able to work with me to ensure that my car was completed in a timely fashion. They were kind enough to not only call me, but also email me, so that I could respond during working hours and even kept the office open on a Friday afternoon until I was able to pick up my car. Fantastic experience, will definitely use again if needed!

I had blown my brake lines but managed to get my 99 Buick Century to MasterWorks for repair. My original quote was around $1200+ for brake lines, master cylinder, booster, front pads and rotors. Final bill was just over $800. The brake booster didn't need replacing and I can stop on a dime. They saved me $$ and I was completely satisfied with the repair work they performed and diagnostics. I'll bring my cars back to them from now on.

I am a daily commuter so I need my car to be dependable. I recently used MasterWorkers and couldn t have been happier with the service. I knew I had a laundry list of issues that I could not put off any longer and this shop went above and beyond my expectations. I was constantly informed about every step of the process and given a link to my car s evaluation before any service started. Needless to say my car drives and feels better on the road than ever before. Good mechanics are hard to come by let alone one who takes their work seriously. This place is great! Had our Ford Escape Hybrid worked on recently. They had to look at it multiple times to get the job done but they were great with their communication and dedication at finding and fixing the issue, which ended up being a lot less of an issue than I initially intended. Price for repair was rather reasonable, as well! Thanks guys! Just referred another Ford Escape to you all! She will be there in the near future.

Mastworks Auto has been a truly amazing Auto repair shop. We have since moved from the area and will not be able to use the shop. They have serviced both of our older cars with care and honestly. They would provide honest recommendations of what needs to be fixed and what can wait. Their service culminated when, the day prior to our move, our muffle fell off. Masterworks got us in and fixed the problem ASAP. They are amazing. I recommend them to everyone.

This mechanic was able to turn my car around quicker than expected, super reasonable prices and even offered a rental car when I thought I would need mine back sooner. I didn t feel like anyone was condescending or annoyed with my issues or my poor description of them! Would highly recommend.

MasterWorks is a fantastic resource in the Cleveland area that I was fortunate enough to be near when my truck ran into issues. I was visiting family over the holidays, traveling from the most nearby area of NY state. Although I was only a few hours away from home I ran into the first major issue my truck has ever experienced during my ownership and was left to research where best to tow my truck for what at worst seemed to be transmission issues. I was well aware that being out of state and having only a day to return home to work I was in a challenging position with few options. All recommendations led to MasterWorks being my first choice and I called first thing in the morning to explain the situation and gather an idea of what timetable I could be looking at.

Boruch and Rick provided me with some of the best customer service I have ever received at any business in any field. They made a point of getting my truck in with no appointment-first thing in the morning and worked to the close of their workday to have my truck running better than ever-fixed, tuned, and cleaned. Not only did they quickly discover and fix the issues at hand, but were able to determine quickly that the transmission was not truly the issue and be incredibly honest when I was prepared to pay for far more expensive work. They are simply that honest and helpful to a complete stranger.

This type of experience not only helped me in the short term to expertly fix my vehicle, but the provided me with an out of state two year warranty on their work by no request. They got me back home and to work lightning fast to keep me financially on track and charged me only for necessary work at a modest labor cost compared to other shops I have used over the years. I'm a college student in town and my car broke down the day I moved in and MasterWorks was able to have it fixed in under a week. It was a big repair with a large amount of labor, but they had it done quickly and gave me daily updates on the progress throughout the repair. My car runs great now and I'm extremely pleased with the work and customer service.
