Happily drive past Countdown to get to the Gate Pa New World. Excellent bakery & butchery and
usually a good choice of quality wines plus the staff are fabulous.

Love buying from the meat section here, I swear it tastes better than the meat from paknsave

This company takes the piss out of people their prices go higher and higher as they think people who are forced to buy will put up with mega prices.typical scam of an organisation waste food and avoid paying taxes

Went into the store not intending to by more than two items so did not need a bag. Actually purchased more than intended ,so not wanting to purchase a bag as I have several already,my friend and I used two empty boxes discarded at front of store for our purchases.We were told by a supervisor that the boxes were not to be used. My friend purchased yet another bag. .I refused to do so . Most Super markets are only to happy to give discarded boxes to customers if needed. Pity New World Gate Pa think it's OK to force frequent shoppers to purchase excess bags..

I've also been victim of NW rigging their scales.

Nice supermarket and reasonable prices, like most of the bigger supermarkets some things are cheaper than others and other things more expensive so really the big supermarkets balance each other out by the time you get to the checkout. My only problem here is when the staff just push there way in between customers to stock the shelves without any attempt to say excuse me, only two words that mean so much, but seems to happen a lot at this branch and they still take no notice when you say as a joke ( that s ok I don t mind you stepping in front of me) it s like they are off in their own little world somewhere. Training really needed in this area, quickly.

Well stocked and a logical layout. Bakery is a cut above the rest of the supermarkets. Grab what you need and out in a flash in this smaller sized shop.
