Very clean rooms, great service and right in the middle of downtown

Kansas City Missouri USA is the best for hotel hospitality.

Loved this hotel!! Very comfortable and modern. Bathrooms were beautiful! Nice amenities! The restaurant was good and priced well even though they completely forgot about my omelette order one morning. Still, very nice. Great value!

Stayed on 18th floor of remodeled tower. Very clean and modern. Great view.

Small room. Room has maintenance issues. Probably an anomaly.

I go to Kansas City for work and have always stayed at Marriott Downtown. It has been great but a few improvement points would be: have charging power outlets closer to the bed; better room scents in the other building; gym should be 24/7.

Booked 3 rooms- Air Conditioning did not work in all 3, credit was not given back on 2 rooms even though the other two couples checked in a clearly said they were paying for their own. Rooms were noisy. Although they appeared clean, products were found in one room from a prior guests romantic getaway. (enough said). Tried to do an early check-in and staff was not even considerate in their response. Room service was knocking on all doors in our hallway at 9am asking when you were departing. Check-out is at 11. Trying to credit for the 2 rooms that we miss charged was a nightmare. Only thing that was great was the location.

Nice hotel, great room. Missing some of the things I've had good experiences with other hotels at. Water in room is $5, sink was slow to drain, free internet is painfully slow. Room itself was very comfortable, place to sit and eat and watch TV on the new flat screens. Responsive temperature control and very easy to access parking.

The remodeled rooms were very nice. Room service was very quick but ok.

Undergoing some updates in main tower, but otherwise a pretty standard downtown hotel property.

Clean and trendy hotel. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store and night life.

Service was good. However, there was a bedsheet shortage and the HDMI port malfunctioned.

I came here as Cerner Interview Candidate..they had paper work ready for me by the time I reached..I just had to take key and get in..Breakfast was good..

Sushil and Vivek are sex predators.... They came on to my 14&15 year olds when they told us as parents we were put out of our stay Della and finka were very rude as well

Beautiful hotel. Nice bar and lounge area. But the experience at the restaurant wasn't what I expected. It wasn't busy but it took quite a while for our food to get done. My pork tenderloin was chewy and dry and the mashed potatoes were bland. Service was excellent however.

It was a very nice looking hotel, with great employees and in a nice location.

Walking in the hotel is beautiful. The ornate set up of all the decor is fabulous. The rooms have great amenities and the room service is kind, taking care of you personally.

Love this hotel. I only wish the conceirge lounge was open 24-7 or at least most of the day, like 6 am to 11 pm. It has random hours especially on the weekends.

Solid Marriott though the rooms are a bit dated. Great service and lobby bar area is nice.

our room was clean spacious 2 bed, quiet couldn't hear ppl next door, great view of the city, nice atmosphere downstairs and at the bar, and the omelette bar for breakfast was KING

I'm being asked for another review. Strange because I documented... in detail... the problems I experienced as at this place. Too much noise from staff and advertised eminities were not available. I'll try to avoid this place.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Perfect downtown location. Tons of stuff to do in the area.

It was clean and I was able to find a helpful staff member to give me directions to the conference room, but it was pretty chaotic in the lobby.

The location is really why the price is so high it wasnt extravagant by any means, though it was very clean. The food and coffee were a bit mediocre and it didnt include a bath. The bathroom sink kept backing up and the check in lady was easily confused and not extremely pleasant by any means though she wasnt horrible at all and the rest of the staff were pretty great. The restaurant waitress was also very distracted by the kitchen staff and not very pleasant. Bartender was pretty great though. Comfort wise the place was satisfactory although I was a little disappointed the facilities(pool,gym) closed by 10 which was when I happened to be there to enjoy them although most places do that so it's not a big deal. There also wasnt a bathtub in my room which kind of sucked. Noone offered to help with my bags when I was unloading and reloading which was a little irritating but not a huge deal. Overall it wasnt a terrible experience but not worth the 700 price tag for sure.

Only at the Downtown Marriott for one evening, but still a pleasant experience. Very modern decor in the rooms, and great views off the city from the 15th floor. Only cons would be the bathroom seemed a little small and sparse, maybe just something annoy the lighting or the way it was decorated. Also, after arriving very late, I was told my reservation had been cancelled, but they quickly found me a room.

All my expectations were met. Nothing of significance happened.

I like that it is within walking distance of the of the Onething conference. I have attended Onething 11 years in a row and I'm only 27. It is by far my favorite way to ring in the new year!

Nice rooms, staff, food, restaurant and in the center of downtown.

Stopped in to grab a drink with a friend who was staying. Very nice place, but not the best location for a quiet conversation, lots of echoes.

Very, very bad customer service. Called to see if I can do an early check-in and the first time I was transferred without warning, so while I was still talking, the second person I got to act like he didn't want to help me at all. He had the ability to look up the room by my last name since the confirmation I gave him apparently was invalid, but insisted I must give him a confirmation number. He had the dates of my reservation incorrect which caused panic because I'm due to arrive in a couple of hours and felt like I wouldn't have a room. Ended up hanging up on them, I'll just deal with it when I get there. I understand it's 3 a.m. over there, but please act like you care about your job and your customers. I'm simply flying in from Phoenix to Kansas and want to make sure that I have a place to go but I'm not sure. One person told me I had two rooms reserved and the other said he couldn't find one! I bet they're going to charge me for that too.

I would have really liked for there to be fountains and that would be the only reason why I wouldn't give it 5 stars.

Checked into the Downtown Marriott Hotels in Kansas City last night. Found bloody toilet paper in the bathroom, and then found that the bathtub's drain didn't work. It took a total of three phone calls and visits from staff to get this worked out.

In the end, I asked them to comp one night for all of the trouble I had to go through. The answer from management is that they don't do this, except for maybe when they think it's worth doing. Obviously, I'm not big enough potatoes to warrant any more than 10,000 points, which amounts to around $50, and is only useful if I choose to stay with Marriott again.

Good hotel, although the lack of electrical outlets was unusual.

Conference room was nice. Set up beautifully. Staff was very attentive.

Good service except that I slept badly the first night the sheets were dirty to the eye, the impeccable beds were beaten but they were so stinky and very stinky with sweat. They charged us 100. Dollars plus that of the room when it was already paid the first night and they gave us the money back but the other couple that stayed with us stayed in another room with them. They were not returned.

Everyday I am called by "marriot" with non English speaking telemarketers offering me discounted vacations ....no matter how many times I block, or ask not to be called it does nothing as I am called everyday. Not to mention the man trying to sell me these vacation packages is extremely rude and aggressive.... Can you cease this before I make it a point for me and everyone I know to boycott staying with Marriot.

Great location, great staff, beautiful hotel. Beds were comfortable. Only thing that our party of 7 people did not like was how wifi you need to pay for (LOL FOR REAL?) and our feet were pitch black from the carpet. Kinda gross.

I attended a Palo Alto Networks event in the rooms on the third floor. I found everything ro be very clean. The food was good and the staff very friendly. Single word solid.

Absolutely would not work with me to rebook a booking during COVID-19 crisis. Booking was 6 months in advance through Snaptravel. Tried working with both companies to reschedule travel (not cancel) and both gave me a complete runaround telling me they'd be happy to help if the other would just approve. After trying for two months, i have been informed that they are simply keeping my money and not providing any compensation for my loss.

The hotel is gorgeous inside and out and the food is super good, the only issue is, is that there isn't anything to do for like....blocks. when we leave the hotel and walk around, we had to take a bus and walk a little bit for at least 15-20 minutes just to see some attractions. They do have this really nice Bazar type thing where they sell patches and handmade soap and jewelry!
